Explore VIETNAM on a Budget from India in 12 Days Hanoi Ha Long HCMC- कैसे करें
Are you planning a trip to Vietnam
on a budget? In this video, I ‘ll give you a
budget-friendly breakdown of a 12-day Vietnam itinerary, perfect for solo travelers, families, and
first-time travelers. In this video, we’ll discuss the best time to
visit, hotels, flights, transportation options, day-wise itineraries, and a total budget breakdown
. Before I continue, I want to give you a budget overview
of a 12-day Vietnam itinerary. So, you can decide whether your trip
is within your budget. If you’re a solo traveler, your expenses will be around ₹1 lakh
. If you ‘re traveling with a family of three, your expenses will be around ₹230,000. That includes your flights,
hotels, food, transportation, and side sinks. I ‘ll provide
a full budget breakdown at the end of this video . If you
want more videos like this, please subscribe to the channel, hype, and like this
video. First, we’ll discuss how to visit—visas and flights come
first. If I were to discuss the specifics , if you need a visa,
Indian citizens can apply for a Vietnam e-visa . A single entry fee costs $25, which translates
to $200 or up to $2,500 . For a multi-entry visa,
you’ll have to pay 50 USD, which
translates to ₹4,300 INR. What documents are required for a passport? Your passport has a six-month
validity. You’ll need a passport photo, flight and hotel bookings, and proof of
funds. How to apply for a Vietnam e-visa? I’ve provided the step-by-step instructions
in the video description . For any other related questions, there
are separate videos for those as well. And if you face any problems with your Vietnam visa, like
you can’t clear your immigration process or there are delays in your visa, you
can sign up for a service (link in the description). Next, let’s talk about the best
time to visit. If you travel to Hanoi North, it’s usually warm
and sunny. If you travel during the spring season , that is , between
March and April, or between September and November, that offers you
the most pleasant conditions for sightseeing. If I talk about Hoi and Dana,
according to this itinerary in this video, about Central Vietnam, March and April
are recommended for comfortable exploration. It would be better
to visit Central Vietnam before July and August,
as the heat increases after that . Talking about Hoi Mang City or Central Vietnam,
the period from December to April is best. It is hot and has sunny days. Humidity is also quite
low. If you’d like to watch a detailed video, I’ve provided a link to it in the description
. Next, let’s talk about transportation: flights and hotels on a
budget and the average cost. Here, if I’m talking about flights, if we’re considering a March
travel period, that’s 12 days, from March 12th to March 23rd
. The first thing I recommend is that if you ‘re booking tickets
to Vietnam, the best time to book is to book your tickets at least four
or five months in advance . This way, you can get the best rates. Otherwise,
even if you book a ticket for a minimum of ₹28, I think it’s quite
expensive. Okay? So, you should book any tickets four or five
months in advance. All right. So, if I’m talking about Delhi, and yours, my
itinerary actually starts from Hinoi and ends in Hoshamn City.
But if yours starts from Hinoi and ends in Hinoi, then let’s say
I’m traveling from Delhi. We ‘re talking about all four metropolitan cities
. I’m starting from Delhi first . So, if I look at the return flight from Delhi to Hinoi,
it’s ₹17,000 round-trip on Wazet Air. So,
let me tell you what this is, according to me. Well, this isn’t a good deal with the airline.
Your journey is 12 hours, and their flight delays are also significant. So, this
12-hour journey can turn into a 20-hour journey. Honestly , I don’t recommend
anyone travel with Jet Air . Next, if I talk
about the cheapest flight from Delhi, I’m getting a return of ₹17,000 to Hanoi. You
can find tickets as cheap as ₹16,000. I’ve
got listings on Sky Scanner. Okay? Expensive ones are even up to ₹25,000. But the cheapest ones
are available for ₹15,000. ₹16,000. Anyway, let’s move on. Now,
let’s talk about it in practical terms: if you
fly from Delhi to Hanoi, your return will be from ₹15,000 . Because our standard
is running out at Hochiman. If you look at daily tickets from Hochiman, or even for 10-12 days,
the cheapest flight here costs ₹17,000. But what
should you actually do? Choose another airline . For example, Indigo is listed here
for ₹22,000, so you can get that too . Okay? So, let’s assume a
decent ticket with no labor. This is a 4-hour, 5-minute flight, and the return
flight isn’t anything special. So, if you look at it, you can get it for up to ₹22,000. Cheaper fares are
available for ₹17,000. If I talk about other cities, like Kolkata,
I can’t find tickets for ₹15, 16, or even 17,000 anywhere here . Indigo
definitely has options, and the cheapest flight is for ₹23,660, which I ‘m talking about
for the March period . You can see the filter I’ve applied above: Hinoi and Hoshi
to Kolkata. If you look at the direct Hinoi-Kolkata flight,
it will also cost you around this much. The previous rate was ₹22,000. Now it’s showing ₹23,000.
It keeps changing. Furthermore, if I’m talking about Mumbai,
you can book the cheapest flight for under ₹22,830 . Or
, booking a ticket for ₹26,000 with another airline is better. For example, Vietnam
Airlines is slightly better, in my opinion. If you want to keep it cheap, you can opt for VitJet.
There’s nothing like that. So, look at the list: Mumbai, Hinoi, Hoshi and Mumbai.
If I talk about Chennai, then the cost of 12 days is Chennai,
Hinoi, Hoshim, and Chennai. If I consider March as the travel period, if
I’m checking in November, the best ticket is currently available for ₹28,000. The cheapest ticket,
at ₹24,000, is practically impossible for anyone. Because the flight time is 25 hours and
13 hours. So, you ‘ll have to keep your flight expenses
on the higher side in Chennai’s case. Now, based on the IRI, we
‘ll start our journey from Hinoi and end in Hoshimmin, and we
‘ll use the flight only once or twice—in fact, once. Otherwise, we
‘ll mostly prefer buses to keep our itinerary affordable . But let’s just
compare flights for a moment, if you use flights for all four destinations .
There are actually three destinations in between . That means you arrive in Hanoi
from India. Then, if you travel from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh
, the average ticket price for one-way per person is ₹4,200. If
you travel from Ho Chi Minh to, say, Dang Na, for some reasons, I don’t see
very good price deals, as the layover is also 9-10 hours, or even 7 hours.
So, I don’t recommend it, which would cost ₹7,500. We’re actually covering
all these destinations by bus. But I’m showing you
how expensive flights are for domestic travel . And then, if you fly
from Dang Na to Ho Chi Minh , the cheapest fare is ₹2,400 per person one-way
. And then if you talk about, suppose you don’t travel to these cities,
you travel to only two cities. That means Hanoi and Hochiman City, so
the price per person per way is around 3,700,
in fact, 3,800, or even 4,000. However, we
‘ve been using flights very sparingly , and we’ll actually talk
about buses and trains as well. Our first destination is Hanoi, and we’re talking about
off-season travel, which is March. I ‘m keeping my travel period four to five
months in advance. The price filter I’ve applied here is
up to ₹3,000. So, if I look, you can see that
you can find three-star or four-star properties starting at ₹2,000. The ratings are also good. 8.4, 8.5, and
8.9 properties are all near the city center, and I’ve listed them here. There are properties
within ₹2000, ₹2500, ₹2500, ₹1500 as well . Then the next destination
will be in our March period as per the industry. If you look inside the along back,
properties with four star and five star rating
are also coming in front of us. That means I have applied a price filter of ₹3000. From ₹2200 to
₹2400, even within ₹3000 you can get a five star hotel
near the city centre. Let us talk further and in the case of hoi I have applied
a price filter of ₹3000 . We have the property listings of the city centre in front of us and you
can get a good property even within ₹1000 . ₹100, ₹1400, ₹1500, ₹2000, and
all this is under ₹3000. Some of these properties are close to the city center. Some properties
are 2.5 or 3 kilometers away. So that doesn’t matter. So you can see how
good deals we’re getting in March. And then if you look further at Danang,
if I talk about Danang, I’ve applied a price filter of ₹3000
even in Danang . March is my travel period, and you can even find a newly built hotel here,
starting at ₹870. It has a rating of 8.7 and is 2.5 kilometers from the city center
. So, you see, all the properties coming here
are close to the city center. You ‘ll find excellent listings here within
the ₹2000, ₹2600, ₹2500, and ₹2800 price range . And then, if I talk
about Hochiman City for a minute, you can see properties within Hochiman City
ranging from ₹1700 to ₹2900, or ₹2500, ₹2600, ₹1000, and ₹1100 , all within the city center. Okay? And
the ratings, if you look at them, are exceptional; they’re 8.6, 8.5, and 8.7, all listed here
. Now, let me continue by sharing a screen shot of some important resources
. Where to book a SIM card? Let’s look at
the important apps you should have on your phone . Talking about mobile SIMs, the first provider I
recommend is Airtel Virtual, which is inexpensive. Within 30 days, you’ll get
₹900 Vietnamese Dong, which translates to approximately $3.50 or $300 to $350.
And then, the next provider I recommend
is Venafone, whose tourist SIM I also purchased, and it
‘s a bit on the higher side, costing ₹650, but it offers a 15-day plan. Given
this price, it’s better to opt for Airtel.
Then, if I talk about the third provider, Mi Phone, the reviews
on forums, Trip Advisor, and other websites
aren’t very good. So, I’m not discussing it . You can skip it. Next,
I’ll talk about some apps that you should always have on your phone. If you
‘re traveling from Southeast Asia , the first app you should have is Gab. Right?
It should be on your phone. The second taxi app is Zan.
You can also download this app on your phone. It provides electric vehicles, such as
motorbikes, scooters, or cars . So
, download these as well. Their prices are They’ll be mostly the same. You won’t see much difference
between them . But if you
want a cheaper option, Motorbikes will be the cheapest option for you. Okay
? I’m sure its app is also available . If we scroll down, I can see on
the bottom right-hand side that there are apps on the Google Play App Store. You can download it
. It’ll be cheaper than Gab when it comes to motorbikes.
Okay? After this, the next app you need to download on your phone is for buses.
Because if you go to a place like the Fukok Islands , there
are both free buses and paid buses. So, this is a bus navigation app that you should download on your phone
. It’s called Venbus.VN. Download it. And then there
are two taxi apps. Gab is more expensive, but it’s great for avoiding scams.
So, there’s a matching app for these. You can download it on your phone. And there’s Vinasun
Taxi. This is also white tax. It also involves duplicate taxes .
I even have a video on Vietnam scams on my channel. I’ve talked about that scam,
namely the OneSun Taxi scam . Okay? So, you
should definitely download it. And, plus, if you can’t use WhatsApp there,
mostly because the platform for business communication is
Zalo instead of WhatsApp. So, people use WhatsApp less and Zalo more
. And then, after this, you should definitely download Grap Food on your phone.
If you need to make a last-minute food booking, and the good thing is that
I can only offer you Grap Food. There are other apps in Vietnam for
ordering food, like Shop Food, GoJek , and FD. But all of these apps
have now ultimately merged with Grap Food . So, you can download
Gab Food in that case. For quick financing, you
can carry USD from India, or you can withdraw some dong at the airport
. These are the best options. This is preferable, as
Vietnamese currency has a large number of notes. Therefore, it’s best to
bring USD from India. Otherwise, use forex cards or credit
cards. Regarding UPI, UPI is available
in Vietnam, but it’s not universally available . So, don’t take a chance on it, even if
I’ve already explained it to you in this video. Let me explain. First, if you
‘re using services like Google Pay or PhonePe, you
need to enable the UPI International feature. First, only a very limited number of stores
will accept your UPI . Usually, they decline it
. Another challenge is that if you use credit cards, debit cards
, or forex cards, some bank cards
may not be accepted at one of your ATMs, or the same card may be accepted at another bank’s ATM.
This happens a lot. So, it’s best to carry forex and credit cards from two or three companies,
along with USD in cash. Okay? I’m going to discuss domestic
transportation and its costs in a day-by-day itinerary.
The itinerary we’ve included in this video covers five or six
destinations: Hanoi, Halong Bay, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, and
a bonus destination. Let’s talk about Hanoi on Day One. You arrive in Ha Noi,
and your taxi cost from the airport to the city center can range from ₹1,000 to around ₹1,250. That means, if I were to do a rough
conversion , it would come to 300,000 or 400,000
dong. Popular destinations in Hinoi include
the Old Quarter, Huan Kiem Lake, and the Ngak Son Temple. The hidden gem here is
Hinoi Railway Street. The destinations are all nearby. You don’t
need any transportation to get there . Meaning, it’s affordable. However, the cost
may still be there. For example, if you ‘re visiting hotels
in the city center, taking a non-stop taxi or similar service will cost you approximately ₹140 to ₹170
. And this taxi ride shouldn’t last more than 5 to 10 minutes,
depending on the track. If you use a cyclo or other vehicle, which
is very popular there (you may have seen rickshaws running around), it
may be a bit expensive because it’s a nostalgic touch and a selling point,
which can lead to overcharging, and there’s a chance of scams
. This means that if you rent a bicycle for an hour, it
could cost you anywhere from ₹1.5 lakh to ₹2 lakh (NR),
which I find expensive. It’s best to just buy it, and if everything else
is affordable, there’s no problem. To visit the Ngusong Temple, you’ll need to pay a ticket,
which is ₹30,000 (NR) or ₹120 (NR). However, if you
have children under 15, it’s free for them. If you want to do an
optional activity, like watching a water puppet show, the ticket
costs ₹350 (NR). On Day 2, you’ll continue exploring Hanoi
, including visiting the Ho Chi Minh Museum, the One Pillar Pagoda,
and the Temple of Literature. These are important sites for your second day. The good
thing is that these are all nearby. You won’t need transportation.
Another hidden gem here is the Vietnam Museum of Anthropology. You can visit that,
but you’ll have to take a taxi. You might need to take a taxi
from the hotel to get to these places, but that’s not too expensive. It
could cost you between ₹80 and ₹170 (₹0000 Vietnamese Dong). Regarding the route, let me tell you that you
can also take buses. If you’re on a budget or a solo traveler,
bus numbers 09, 22, 33, 45, and 50 are available. Buses are easily available
in these areas, around 12th Street Square . Alternatively, there’s an app called Bus Maps
, which you can use for real-time tracking
of bus routes. The entry fee for the Museum of Ho Chi Minh and
the Museum of the Mosoleum is free. The One Pillar Pagoda is also located nearby, which is just a
short walk from the Mausoleum. Next, you ‘ll head to the Temple of Literature from Mausoleum.
If you want to explore it, its ticket cost will be ₹235 (INR 235)
. It’s definitely worth seeing. It’s 70,000 Vietnamese Rong. You can simply
walk from the Mausoleum Pagoda complex in about 20 minutes,
reaching there. The approximate distance from One Pillar Pagoda to Mausoleum
is between 1.5 and 2 kilometers. You
can also walk as I mentioned. Taking a taxi will cost you anywhere from ₹80 to ₹170. On Day 3, you’ll travel
from Hanoi to Halong Bay. Exploring this site is crucial, and
I’ve provided you with several options . The distance from Hanoi to Halong Bay is 165 kilometers.
This can take you approximately 2 to 4 hours,
depending on your mode of transportation. For activities, you
can kayak, swim, snorkel, etc. There are limestone caves,
Sunset Cave, and Dark Bright Cave . You can explore
fishing villages . There are cooking classes, sunrise viewing, and kayaking
. So, you have plenty of options . Tea Top Island is very
popular there. Now, let’s discuss how to get from Hinoi to Halong Bay. The most
budget-friendly option, which I don’t
think is very comfortable, is actually if you take a local tour. Buses run there. The cheapest fares
range from ₹400 to ₹800. That means you can expect around ₹235,000. I’m
talking about a one-way trip per person. However, the journey
will last 4 to 5 hours. If you’re budget- conscious, opt for this option.
Otherwise, you can skip it, as I ‘ll be providing more options
later . If you ‘re on a budget and
are a solo traveler, you should stay on Cat Ba Island, within Holon Bay. You
can explore some of the most beautiful sites there, and your trip can be even cheaper.
Another option is to use private cars to get from Hinoi to Holon.
For maximum flexibility and comfort, you
can hire a private car. The cost of this will be yours. Suppose if you
are traveling as a family, three or four people are traveling , then the cost can start
from ₹4800 to around ₹9,900, which means you may have to spend ₹9,000 to ₹1,000 for a one-way trip.
Let me tell you, things also depend on the car size and service
. And this journey will actually be of 2 to 3 hours . The third best budget option
is comfortable and better than a private car. If you travel by local bus,
take a shuttle bus or limousine. Right? There are sharing vans available, you can also take them.
Approximately, your per person cost if you travel by bus or shuttle bus
can be around ₹1200 to ₹2500 per person for a one-way trip. And
the journey will be approximately the same as a private car covers. This means
your journey will take two and a half to three hours. The good thing is that you can be picked up and
dropped off at your hotel. If you’re staying specifically around Hanoi’s Old Quarter
, there’s a daily limited service called XG, which has very good ratings
. You can opt for that. Or, there are other companies like
Green Line Bus or Travel Services . Bus operators include Fu Zu. Then Ho Explore
Travel is a travel agent. They can actually arrange your entire trip if
you prefer. You can also book online yourself . You can check prices and
book your shuttle buses or packages
on vx.com and www.cook.co.uk. If you’re
interested in booking a one-day tour package, let me tell you that it
won’t be very budget-friendly. Because the biggest problem with that is that
if you book a day trip, a significant portion of your time will be
wasted on the round-trip bus journey. This means you’ll lose 6 to 8 hours of your day
. So, if you ‘re considering a one-day trip as a budget-friendly option, it
‘s not. Let me tell you. So, don’t buy a one-day trip package in this case.
It’s better to stay for a day at a time , like on a cruise.
I’ll talk about the cruise itself later. Okay? If I were to talk
about the cost of a one-day Halong Baker tour package, if you’re still interested , it
could cost anywhere from ₹5,600 to ₹10,000 per person . That means it could cost you up to 120 USD per person
. Now, let me talk about solar travel . That’s the most budget-friendly
option for you. Let me tell you, if you ‘re particularly budget-conscious,
you can stay on Cart Ba Island, as I mentioned earlier
. You can reach there by bus from Hanoi. However, one challenge is that you
won’t be able to see a couple of major sightseeing spots . The reason being, Cart Ba
Island is a bit far away. Song South Ke is very popular. T-Top Island
is quite popular, actually a bit farther from Cart Ba Island . But there’s no need to worry about that either
. There are plenty of other great destinations there,
which I’ve already started explaining. I’m starting to call names. Okay? But if you
want to travel from Hinoi to Kataba Island in Howlang Bay, you
can use the Kadaba Express service. There ‘s another bus service called Good Morning Kadaba, so you
can use that. Your total cost will be around ₹1,000 to ₹1,500
for a one-way trip, which also includes your hotel pickup if you’re
staying in Hinoi or near the Quarter area . You
can also opt for a hotel drop-off. If you’re returning to Hinoi, that is, from Kadaba Island back to Hinoi.
Okay? This bus journey will take 3 to 4 hours. As a
solo traveler, you’ll be staying in Kataba Town, which is actually a hub for
restaurants, tour bookings, and other activities. So, once you get there, you
can make your tour bookings. You can book the cheapest hotels
for ₹1,700 to ₹4,200, depending on your taste, preferences, and budget. Right?
You can also stay in hostels. Hostels are available.
You can book them for approximately ₹400 to ₹800 per night
. Now, what’s there to see? As I mentioned, you’ll have to skip some caves, as they
may be far away. There are other good day trip options available from there. You can go on
a day trip to Landon Half Bay, which costs around ₹1,200 to ₹2,500
per person. You can also visit Cardiff National Park. Its entrance
fee is around ₹250 IAR, which will cost
you around 3 USD. You can also rent a motorbike for about ₹400 to ₹600 per day
. If you’re a solar traveler, preferring to stay on a cruise instead of traveling
on your own , I’m offering you an option for that, the cheapest option. If you book a shuttle
normally, it costs ₹1,700 to ₹2,500 for a round trip,
from Hinoi to Hollong and back to Hinoi. But if you book with the cruise,
as I told you, your shuttle commute price will
automatically decrease. Now, let me be very clear. One thing you need to keep in mind here
is that booking your stay on a cruise
can be expensive if you’re single. If you’re with two people, it’s cheaper. If you’re single,
they’ll actually assign you
a single compartment or cabin, which is actually for two people.
And you ‘ll end up paying a higher price . So,
what’s better for you? You can consider cruise operators that
offer discounts to solo travelers. Check for discounts
. Or join a party cruise , where you can socialize
and share a room . Instead,
paying a single ticket for a cruise can be expensive. Now, what I recommend
for families is to book an overnight cruise.
This is the easiest and least hectic option. If you want to explore Ha Long Bay,
opt for an overnight cruise. And of course, that includes transportation from Hinoi. You
can get pickup or drop-off from your hotel . If your budget is tight, you
should opt for three-star cruises . They
will be the cheapest option for you. So, you can choose a two-night, two-day, or one- night plan .
The average price of a budget overnight cruise
can range from ₹10,000 to ₹12,000 per person. I’m talking about three-star cruises,
if you opt for them. Now, there are some popular three-star cruises, and
they are quite popular within the budget travel space. For example, Phoenix Cruises is one of the world’s leading cruise ships. One is the World
Lotus Classic, which is a three-star cruiser. What other budget options are available for
families and solo travelers ? Let me tell you. Okay? If you want to travel independently
and save money, then to get from Hanoi to Along City, as
mentioned earlier, minivans and buses are quite popular and convenient
options , taking you 2 to 3 hours . The cost will be approximately ₹700
to ₹1400 one-way. The reputed bus and
shuttle bus service is Phuc XY, a daily Lemon, and Luxury TransCar,
which provide day-to-day services.
You can also book a cruise there or take a budget- friendly day trip.
There are limestone caves there. Visit the caves. There are plenty of options for
kayaking, snorkeling, swimming, and more . Plus, you can also visit Song Soth Cave. Many budget day tours
are available for booking in Halong City . If you
specifically want to visit this cave, you ‘ll return from Halong Base to Hinoi on Day Four.
This means you’ll explore the Hinoi Opera House or
French Quarter the next day. Booking a taxi from your hotel to these sites
can cost you around ₹135 to ₹205,
but it’s the fastest available. Public buses for this route
can cost around ₹25-70, and many buses operate. Buses number
2, 4, 34, 43, 45, 49, and 86 operate. If you’re already staying in the Old Quarter,
you can easily visit Hoan Kiem Lake or
see the French Quarter or Opera House. Just a short walk away. That’s it. The exterior
of the Ho Opera House is free if you want to explore,
but if you want to go inside , a ticket costs ₹400. The hidden gem
worth exploring is the Hanoi Ceramic Mosaic Mural
. You’ll leave Hanoi on Day 5, and from there, you’ll head
to your next destination, Hoe. And what can you see? There’s the Imperial
Citadel. It’s called Doi, or the Royal Tower of Khaydin. There’s the Thien Mu
Pagoda, and the Perfume River is definitely an experience in itself. You can also take a cruise
. If you’re traveling on a budget from Hanoi,
I recommend the cruise.
The average ticket price per person ranges from ₹17 to ₹45, meaning
approximately ₹1,400 to ₹3,700 per person.
If you fly, you might find it a bit expensive
. However, the journey is quite interesting, but it’s a long one. It’s a
13- to 16-hour journey. If you want to add flights
to your budget, you can, which will take you about an hour and a half.
However, a 13- to 16-hour journey is worth seeing . If you choose to fly, Waze
Air is the easiest. It’s the cheapest, and you can get a one-way ticket for a nonstop flight for ₹6,000 to ₹11,000
. That’s why it’s a bit expensive. So,
for solar travel, the best option is to use the train. Specially. The duration
as mentioned is 1 hour 15 minutes. The best area for you to stay will be inside Hoe.
For solo travellers especially , it is Pham Nguyen Lao Street which is a backpacker hub
. This is the best area. Or if you are staying with families or
if I talk about solo travellers, then you get cheap options around Imperial Saturday Dal and that area is
also quite quiet. The best area for families
is Imperial Settle. The cost of the hotel here will be like this.
If you are looking for three star options in a budget hotel for a private room , then you can easily book it from ₹1200 to ₹2100
per night . If you still
want to book a hostel and want it to be even cheaper, then go to Dom’s. The best options start at around
₹350, with options ranging from ₹300 to ₹350-₹400. Typically , you’ll find options
between ₹400 and ₹800 . What sights do you want to see? You’ll visit
the Imperial City of Danoi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the former Imperial City
of the Nguyen Dynasty. Its ticket price is ₹680
per adult. As of today, in 2025, that’s around
200,000 Vietnamese Rong. You can take a boat tour cruise on
the Perfume River . It’s called the Perfume River Dragon Boat Tour. A very scenic, very scenic
boating tour. And what’s included? The ticket cost will vary, depending on the person,
from ₹500 to ₹1,000 per person. On Day Six, you’ll continue
exploring. You ‘ll head to your next destination: Thien Mu
Pagoda. It’s a beautiful, historic, and seven-story pagoda,
located on a hill, standing on a raised platform. From there, you can get a great view
of the city’s Perfume River . And the best part is that
the entry fee is free. Next, you’ll visit the Royal Tomb of
Khaid. It’s a mix of Vietnamese and European architecture, and the ticket
price is ₹510 per adult. After that, you’ll head to the Royal
Tomb of Min Mang. It’s quite impressive , and it also has a ticket price
, but it’s also ₹510 per adult. On Day Seven, you’ll head from Hoi An
to Da Nang, your next destination. You can take the bus, which I recommend
. You can book for between $11 and $14. This means you can book buses for between $900 and $1200.
The distance is also quite short, meaning you’re on a 3-4 hour journey
maximum. You can easily book through online platforms like Wax . You can
also book tickets from local bus offices in Hoi An if you
want to go to Danang. Right? Popular operators, if you’re using bus operators,
include Han Cafe, Queen Cafe, and Hoi An Express Travel. I
‘m naming three. You can easily book through them. These buses
will drop you off in Danang. Usually, many buses drop you off near the Danang train station
. You can book your hotel or accommodation at any of the nearest locations there
. If you want to go somewhere on the first day, you can go to Mai Beach and
book a hotel near it. The best option is the secondary one, which is quite close.
The distance from the train station to the city center is 4 to 5 kilometers from Khe Beach. So
, I think Khe Beach
would be the ideal location for you. If you need to book your stay and a hotel, you can take a
taxi as well. You can also use a taxi. If you want to go to the beach, that means
going from the train station to the beach, the approximate cost will be between ₹250 and
₹350. So, at least if you look at it here, you can
book a taxi ride for between ₹170 and ₹340 . If you want to go to Marble Mountain from Dhanang Train Station
and book a hotel, you can do so. But it’s 10 to
12 kilometers away . It is available from the train station and the cost of a taxi if
you have booked a stay near Marble Mountain will be around ₹500 to ₹840
. Let me tell you that. So I don’t recommend it. It is a bit far
and the price is also a bit low . The other places to see
in Danang are Marble Mountain itself, Golden Bridge, Bana Hills, Len Lang Pagoda and Shyam
Museum. So, you will explore Danang in 8:00 am and your day will start
at 8:00 am because it can be a very hectic day for you. If you have booked
a hotel anywhere and if you go to Bana Hills by taxi, it will cost you around 30 to 80 rupees.
Your drive will take 45 minutes. First, the second thing is that your cost will be
₹1000 to ₹1500 for a one-way trip. If you go to Bana Hills, it
‘s a little far. Now, what you need to do is spend the entire day in Bana Hills, that is,
around the Golden Bridge. If you arrive by 9:00 in the morning,
you can do some hiking in the mountains from 9:00 to 1:00 . Just use the car,
instead of walking yourself. And you head straight for the Golden Bridge to
avoid the worst of the crowds. Let me tell you that. Okay? But if you book
another package , it costs up to ₹4250. I think it’s worth it and it’s cheaper
because it includes a cable car ride. You also get lunch, a buffet, combos, etc.
So, it costs around ₹150,000 ( approximately ₹4,250 per adult). Then
, afterward, you’ll explore Le Jardin
d’Armor, the gardens and wine cellars located within the Bana Hills
complex. From 1 to 4:00 p.m., you can enjoy lunch there. You can also grab
a buffet. You’ll get vouchers, etc., so you can have lunch there.
Then, you’ll explore the French Village, where you’ll find Fantasy Park before returning
to your hotel. Then, on Day 9, you ‘ll continue exploring Da Nang.
Your first stop will be the Lan Vung Pagoda, which is actually located
near the Sontra Peninsula. You can spend about
an hour to an hour and a half exploring it . It has beautiful gardens and a temple. And there’s a
joint Lady Buddha statue outside. This site is a little far away, and the
taxi cost from your hotel to the city center can range from ₹450 to ₹850
. The good thing is that entry is free.
Your second stop after this is Marble Mountain itself. So, if you take a taxi from Lin Weng Pagoda to Marble
Mountain, it’s a 20-30 minute taxi drive to Marble Mountain
. You’ll spend another 2-3 hours in Marble Mountain exploring the caves
. This is the normal amount of time you’ll need there . 2-3 hours if you
explore the caves and temples. The taxi cost from the pagoda
to Marble Mountain will be ₹550 to ₹750 . Okay? A one-way drive to Marble
Mountain will cost approximately ₹400 Vietnamese Dong. That
‘s ₹135 per adult. If you use the elevators to go up, it will cost ₹50
per person. And there’s definitely one cave to explore, called M
Few Cave. You’ll need to pay a separate ticket of ₹40,000 Vietnamese Dong if
you want to explore this cave, and it’s covered within ₹135.
Your third stop on Day Nine will be the Sham Museum, located conveniently
between Seoul and Marble Mountain and Central Dana. You can take a taxi there
. It’s a 15-20 minute taxi ride and costs ₹300, ₹350, or ₹500
. That’s fine. This distance is around 10 km. So,
the fare is reasonable. Let’s see. The ticket cost to explore this site
is 60,000 Vietnamese strong. This means you’ll have to spend ₹200.
You’ll travel from Da Nang to Ho Chi Minh City during the day, and you can use several budget-friendly airline options
. If you have to go, you can get a ticket for as low as ₹2,700 or ₹3,000
per person. Domestic carriers here include Vietnam Airlines, Via Jet
Air Pacific Airlines, Bamboo Airways, and Viet Travel Airlines
. The flight time for you is approximately
1 hour 25 minutes or 30 minutes . Once you arrive in Hochiminh City
, you can take a taxi from Hochiminh City or get from the airport
to the city center or around District One. Let’s go. Your taxi cost here
is approximately ₹450 to ₹700, or 6 or 9 USD, depending on the
traffic and the time of day. Now, rest for a day. The next day, on Day 11, you will
start exploring Hochiminh City. On Day 11, you will explore Hochiminh City.
But before exploring this city, I recommend an important
day trip. I hope you can guess. If not, you should book a trip
to the Cochin Tunnels. If you want to watch dedicated videos on Hochiminh City and Phuoc
Island, you can watch vlogs on my channel and literally plan your trip
. But I also started explaining things in this video . So, you should go to Cochin City
on the first day. You can also book packages for the Cochin Tunnels.
But if you’re budget-conscious and want to travel on your own, or
if you’re a solo traveler, you can take bus number 13 to the Kochi Tunnels. It’s a two- to three-hour bus
ride. So, you can get to Benthen Market , where buses run from there.
Park at 23 Oblique 9, I think there’s a station. From there, you can take the bus
to the Kochi Tunnels. Okay? Your bus will stop at the Kochi Tunnel Bus Station, and from there you
‘ll take bus number 79 to reach the Bandak Tunnel side, where your Kochi Tunnels journey begins. Your
bus ticket for this can cost approximately ₹86 or ₹75. The travel time
will be 2 to 3 hours each way. That means, from Kochi City to Kochi Tunnels,
since it’s a little on the outskirts of the city , it’s a 2 to 3 hour journey, and
it will take approximately the same amount of time to return . If you book a car, a
private van, or a package , it will cost at least ₹4,500 per
person . But I think it ‘s a convenient option for everyone.
Lunch is included. In fact, it also includes a ride to the Mekong Delta
. Such packages are available. I’ll try to provide a link to the package I purchased
in the description. Otherwise, you can watch my videos. You can find
out where I booked it, and what the trip was like. If you
want to book a date trip, actually book it through an agent. This is also budget-friendly.
It’s not too heavy on your pocket, and it’s a better option for you. Now, you’ve taken a day trip
to the Kochi Turns, and the next day you’ll return to Hochiman at night. On Day
12, your last day, let me tell you what you can do in Hochiman City.
You’ll visit the North Dam Cathedral , Central Post Office, and War Remnants Museum,
which cost ₹400 Vietnamese Rong (₹140 per person). However, if you’ve
already seen the Kochi Tunnels, you can consider this as a secondary option.
It’s your choice whether you want to go or not. If you see the Ku Chi Tunnels ,
you get a real-time experience. And if you want to party in the evening, you have to head over to Bobin
Walking Street. There’s a dedicated video for that too
. Nothing like Nana Plaza in Bangkok or even Pattaya Walking Street.
It’s decent, but there are plenty of inexpensive party options there. And
you can easily find Indian food there . It’s a 1 km street, just like walking
streets usually are. Okay. If you have kids and you
absolutely must see the War Museum in Uchimal City, entry is free for children under six.
Okay? And you can also, otherwise
, skip this museum if you can . You can take a boat ride or cruise, which
are cheaper. There’s a budget Saigon bus service. Water buses, which
can be booked for ₹15 per person for a return journey,
cruise through districts I think, including Districts
One, Five, and 12 up to District 14 . You can return. It
costs ₹15 per person. The cheapest and best option for you. Food and beverages are easily
available, though a bit pricey, but you can find them on the boats.
Once you’ve completed your cruise, you should head over to the Bitxo Financial Center, which
is within walking distance. You can also take a taxi or
book a rickshaw. However, the ticket price will be ₹820 per person
. This is actually an observation deck from which you can view the entire Saigon city,
and it’s breathtaking . There’s a dedicated video on it.
I’ll show you some of the views in the video . If you have some extra time,
you should definitely visit Benthan Market on your last day. And inside Benthan
Market, you can do a lot of shopping,
cheap clothes, and buy good quality clothes. You can buy snacks, dry fruits,
etc. There are so many options. It’s a very fascinating market. And sir, and one of the oldest in the
city. And Day 13, from Ho Chi Minh City, you’ll fly back to India. Next, I’ll talk about
a bonus destination. I definitely recommend you
don’t skip this one if you’re going to be around Ho Chi Minh City or Southern Vietnam
. Phuc is one of the most beautiful experiences you can never have
in Vietnam. Okay? And let me tell you if you go directly to Phuc Island
from India. Your direct flight with a stopover in Phuc Island
is visa-free for 30 days. But let me tell you not to take a chance on this,
because you’ll rarely find direct flights. So, if I look at the flight from Delhi
to Peacock Island, it’s expensive . Furthermore, it comes with a layover. This means
your layover can be in Cochimin City. Consequently, you may
have to clear immigration to reach the domestic terminal . So, you should definitely apply for a Vietnam e-visa
. If you’re considering this type of flight
option, consider not having a direct flight, as direct flights
can be more expensive. And even if you choose to enjoy the visa-free facility or
stay there, let me tell you that if you want to travel anywhere
in Vietnam from Peacock Island, you’ll need a Vietnam visa. So, it’s best to apply
for a Vietnam e-visa . Let me tell you that. If you need to get from Ho Chi Minh City to
Phucok, I can only
recommend flights, as the other option is quite uncomfortable
and involves an overnight journey. It takes 8 to 9 hours by land, and ferries
can also take longer to get you there . So, you travel by land, then
take a ferry and then interchange to reach Phucok Island. That’s not worth it.
You’re better off booking flights. And you can book flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Phucok
at reasonable prices, within 2,500 to 3,000 rupees. Let me tell you
that. The good thing is that the flight duration
is 55 minutes. This means the total flight time is 30 minutes.
Including taxation and airport clearance, your total
flight duration is shown as 1 hour in the standard. But it
‘s actually a 30-minute flight. Okay? Now let me tell you that if you’re planning a trip to Fukou Island
, you can reference my videos . The day-wise information is basic: how to get there
, where to go, and how much the ticket costs . I’ve discussed all the challenges
I faced there. Now , which destinations
will you explore here? Win Pearl Safari, Win Wonders, Grand World, Long Beach, Fukou
Night Market, all of these are vlogs on my channel, and I booked my stay there.
In Daodong, I easily found Indian restaurants. If you
wanted to eat Indian food, and this is central Fuzhou, it would make your commute easier.
You could travel north or south to explore Vinal Safari, Vinal Wonders
, or Grand World, but the distance would be approximately
24 to 25 km per side, as it ‘s a large island and
there are no metro lines. So, you might have the option of taxis. Taxis
cost ₹700 to ₹1200 if you travel north,
approximately 24 km from the city center. You can also use free buses,
which I’ll discuss later. You can also use free buses there
. These buses are green in color. You can download
WinBus, an app on your phone, to explore the bus routes and navigate the buses, or
check the waiting time. Typically, the waiting time
for these free buses can be 20 to 25 minutes, and I even waited half an hour
for one. However, these are electric bus services. They are operated by some major companies that
run amusement parks, such as the WinBus Group, which
is for all visitors, not just hotel guests staying at the resort
. The public can also use these buses. These are WiFi-enabled
buses. Let me explain the bus routes . Route 17 runs
from Phucok International Airport to Grand World and also toward City Center.
You can use that, which I used to get to the city
center. You can use Route 19, which runs between the Intercontinental Resort and Phucok
International Airport and Grand World, linking to the
southern resort area. You can also use that route if needed.
You can also use Route 20. Bus number Route 20 runs between Bai Wong Port and Grand World
. That connects the main ferry terminal as well to the eastern
side of the island. OK? You can see that buses, as mentioned,
can have a waiting time of 15, 20, or even 30 minutes. So, you’ll need to be mindful of this. Some
hotels that aren’t affiliated with the Winpal Group also offer free airport
shuttle services for their guests. And when I was returning from Phucok Island
, I took the free bus, carrying my luggage with me . I arrived very easily
in half an hour. Speaking of food, you can eat street food. For example, you can eat for ₹100
to ₹150 per person . If I talk about local food,
if you go to local restaurants and eat family meals, it
costs you ₹500 to ₹700 per person . If you
buy snacks etc. in supermarkets like GS stores, you can
eat snacks within ₹50 to ₹100 . If I talk specifically about Indian food, then the average meal
in an Indian restaurant or a good restaurant costs ₹1000 to ₹1200 per
person. In this, you can have limited options. Let me tell you that. Now
you can also get budget- friendly options. That means, even those
meals can cost you between ₹700 or ₹800 to ₹900 per
person. But if you go to high-end restaurants , like Indian restaurants , you
might have to pay a minimum of ₹100 per person per meal. Now, let me share some important information.
If you have an emergency, you can dial 113 or contact the Vietnam National
Authority of Tourism. You can see their information on the screen, it should be flashing
. So, that’s it, guys. This was your itinerary for 12 days in Vietnam. I
hope you enjoyed this video. Now, let’s talk about the budget breakdown.
For solo travels as well as for families. Let us talk about the budget further and we
have started discussing the budget for solo travels or families for 12 days or 12 nights
. If I talk about fixed costs which you cannot avoid,
there are international flights and visa accommodation. So if you look at it, the cost
of buffer international flights for Surat travel is ₹23,000. It can cost ₹65,000 for a family. If
you book the cheapest of the cheapest flights. If we talk about visa, then
the cost for a family is around ₹6,000. It is ₹2000 per person. Talking about accommodation, you can see that it
can go up to ₹18,000 and ₹50,000 for families. Next I will talk
about intercity transport. And in the case of intercity transport, if you
take an internal flight from Da Nang to Ho Chi City, for example,
it costs you approximately ₹3500 per person, and ₹10 for three people.
I have consolidated all the expenses for trains, buses, and cars, so your total cost for 12 days
comes to ₹8500 for a solo traveler, and you can spend ₹15,000 for families.
Okay. If I talk about activity tours, I have listed the cost here for 12 days,
as per the item . So, there are two-three activities in it. There is Bana
Hills, Halong Bay cruise, or some other sightseeing, museum
tickets, etc. So, you can see that the cost here is something
like ₹13,500 if you cruise in Halong Bay and ₹32,000,
I have calculated a budget cost for families. Okay? For three people. Bana Hills Golden
Bridge will cost ₹4000 per person, ₹8000 for two or three people.
If I talk about side view tickets, then your total cost for 12 days can be ₹8000
and in case of families it can be ₹12,000. If we talk about daily expenses
here, if I talk about 12 days, then your total cost on food and beverages
can be. The daily food average that I have shown you here is ₹1500 and ₹3333
in case of families, if you eat three times a day . I am taking it on the higher side .
So your total expenditure on food and beverages could be 18,000. It could be ₹40,000
for families. So if you use transport etc. within 12 days
if you do solar travel then you may spend ₹7,000
on using local transport. Only local transport and you can spend ₹10,000 for families
. Taxis etc. are covered, I have added SIM cards, minor shopping, airport transfers
in it. You can read the notes. If I talk about the estimated budget further,
it reaches around ₹1 lakh in the budget for solo travellers and ₹2,3,000
is the minimum for families. Okay sir. The total daily expenses I’ve calculated for
your 12 days are ₹8,000 for solo travel, and
at least ₹100 for family travel. Now, review the final budget, which
is more important for you to understand and relevant. The flight cost is on
the screen in front of you, and the budget margin I’ve
calculated is ₹16,000 for budget travelers, i.e., for solo travelers
, and you can spend ₹230,000 for a family of three. Alright, dear
friends, thank you so much for watching this video until the end. I hope you
enjoyed this video and the itinerary. If so, making these videos
takes a lot of time and effort. So, please don’t forget to support the channel. I’ll

How bad is pollution in vietnam?
I have a trip to Bangkok in Dec. Can i still go to Vietnam from Thailand f9r few days? I have a US Toursit and Business Visa. Any advise pls? Thanks
Thanks, I am planning within 3 months. Saving up for my Vietnam trip. Just a request brother, I will be happy if you cover all south east asian countries in similar videos. There is a lot of untapped potential in such countries when it comes to tourism.
I strongly recommend you to slow down while you explain itinerary. I found it very fast and hard to understand.
Unfortunately, I find the ancient city of Hoi An, missing somehow. I think, it's wise to include it.
