มูฮ่องกง ตามรอย6 วัดที่คนต่างเชื่อว่าศักดิ์สิทธิ์ 2025 | VLOG

I’ve been to Hong Kong for three years straight because I prayed to a temple and got it. That’s why I’ve been back for three years in a row to fulfill my vows. But as I said, many people come to Hong Kong to eat, shop, and travel. But another reason many people come here is to visit Mamu. And of course, behind all those tall buildings, there’s a story behind it all . It’s a science of belief that’s spread everywhere, whether it’s the science of feng shui, hidden in every corner of the city. There are ancient temples where it’s been said that those who pray here will usually have their wishes granted. There’s the temple where it’s said that the God of Red String will tie the fates of two people together, the temple that’s a refuge for students and those who want justice to be on their side, and the temple famous for its wealth-opening ceremony, a unique ceremony for asking for money from the goddess. And of course, the last temple where I prayed three times in a row and got it all, so I had to come back again. There were so many Thais that I now have Thai. The staff can speak Thai. And there were Thai tour groups that came, so we could worship along with them. Let’s go into the background information. That these things are beliefs, reasons, or superstition. When returning to Hong Kong again. Hong Kong , Sai Mu , year 2025. Hello everyone. Now I am in Hong Kong. Coming back once more. Actually, I have to say that from the beginning, I intended to come to Hong Kong because there was a mission that I felt necessary to do. That is, I came to pay respects at a temple. This has been my third year in a row. The first time I went to this temple, I made a wish. I made a wish and asked that if my wish really came true, I would come back to pay respects again the following year. It turned out that what I asked for at that time was quite difficult. I wouldn’t say it was easy, but it was possible, not much. But it turned out that I got it. When I got it, it became the reason why I had to come back to pay respects again last year. And of course, when I went to pay respects again last year, I made a similar wish, but more than before. It turned out that I got it. So this is the third year that I have to come back to this temple. It’s a bit like fulfilling a vow, but my fulfillment is just to come back and pay respects again. Since we were already here, we did some more research to find out why Hong Kong is a place where people believe in… fate and making wishes. When it comes to feng shui, even buildings, we’ll visit several more temples to see what they say and what important information they contain. On this trip, we’ll visit several temples, and we’ll end with the temple where I made a wish. Most importantly, I want to say that fortune telling and other such things aren’t just becoming popular in Hong Kong. They’ve actually been around for a long time. Let’s hear what’s happened in the past. Many people might wonder why so many people like to go to worship and make wishes in Hong Kong, right? Actually, this belief has been ingrained in ancient beliefs, even since ancient times. Hong Kong people believe that worshiping gods will attract good things into their lives. Therefore, making wishes and making wishes have become a part of their way of life. But one thing that many people don’t think about is city feng shui. They say that Hong Kong places a lot of importance on this. Feng shui is an ancient Chinese science that deals with the arrangement of space and objects to create energy balance . They believe that everything in the world has hidden energy. Therefore, if we arrange things well and create good energy, good things will follow. Take the buildings in the city, for example. They built it according to Feng Shui principles. One of the most famous buildings is the HSBC building. It is one of the big banks in Hong Kong. The building is located in a prime location, facing the harbor. Behind it is a mountain. On the bottom of the building is a lion statue that is believed to protect against bad energy . There is also a story that later there was a building of… Bank of China is built nearby. On top of the building, they built a tall pillar. It looks like a sword. When HSBC saw that, they thought it looked like an attacking energy. So they built a structure that looks like a cannon on top of the building to counter it. Then, they turned it towards the Bank of China building. If you try to observe many buildings in Hong Kong, they will have a hole or a gap in the middle of the building. It’s called the Dragon Hole. It’s because it’s believed that the good energy circulating throughout the city will flow through the building, bringing good luck . When you combine the city’s feng shui and sacred places, it’s not surprising why Hong Kong is a destination for the Moon lovers. Now, let’s come to the station. Yau Ma Tei . Try to pronounce it correctly. It’s the Shrine of the Goddess of Mercy. Here, they come to pray for matters of career and travel. Now, there are members of our pilgrimage group, Ms. Phattharadee Sawasdee, Ms. Arai , Jup Jup, Ms. Jup Jup , Ms. Pinpak , Pinpae , and Yenjai. Let ‘s go make merit. Don’t believe it? Okay. I’ll tell you that the Shrine of the Goddess of Mercy Tin Hau, if you read carefully, it says that there are hundreds of them in Hong Kong. The reason is that, it’s like, For praying for safe travels . I have to say that in the past, many Hong Kong people were fishermen, right? So they worshiped and had many shrines to Tin Hau Temple because they wanted to pray for safe travels. In the past, everyone had to understand that fishing in the past, because the technology wasn’t as good as it is today, was dangerous. You might not be able to return , or you might be gone for a long time, or whatever. So, they had to pray to the sacred things. Okay, everyone, here we are. We ‘ve arrived . Inside, there will be a spiral incense coil that many people have seen in Hong Kong . The first temple we’ll visit is Tin Hau Temple. It’s an ancient temple , built in 1876 to worship Tin Hau, or as Thai people know and are familiar with it, the Tin Hau Temple. She is the goddess of the sea. Many people might wonder how the Tin Hau Temple became the goddess of the sea. There’s a legend like this. Going back about 1,000 years ago, there was a young woman named Lin Mo Niang. She was born into an ordinary fishing family, but she was special. She is a grateful, intelligent child who always helps others. Legend has it that her father and brother once encountered a big storm while sailing. Lin Mo Niang closed her eyes and meditated, and her mind seemed to float away, helping the ship safely return to shore. For this reason, people believe that she has heavenly powers, protecting people at sea. When she died, the Fujian people built a shrine to worship her and named it Mazu, which is similar to Mae Yanang. The Chinese emperor bestowed her the title of Tin Hua, which means Queen of Heaven . However, many people may wonder why she is called the Goddess of Mercy . When Thai-Chinese people bring a statue of Mazu to worship, they see that she is dressed in red, like a ruby. She is commonly called the Goddess of Mercy. Later, the Goddess of Mercy became widely known and blended with Thai beliefs. For example, she is worshipped as the Goddess of Mercy of Ships, protecting sailors and their journeys. Everyone must say that Hong Kong has many Tin Hua temples scattered around. Of course, Hong Kong is a city by the sea since ancient times, right? This is so that fishermen can come and pay their respects and pray for a safe journey before setting sail. Our destination today is located in Yau Ma Tei , which is considered the largest remaining Tin Hau Temple on the Kowloon side. I must say that this place is suitable for frequent travelers because you can come and pray for safety during your journey. Furthermore, anyone who is in business or doing business can also come and pray for a prosperous business. The method for praying is not difficult. Tell your name, surname, address, and what you want to pray for. Then, stick 3 incense sticks. Or if you want to pray for a child, the temple also has amulets for rent to take home and worship. They tell you to stick them on the dragon’s head for knowledge and education. Sticking them on the boatman is for job stability and promotion. Sticking them on the stern of the boat is not for business . Sticking them on the stern is for general things. Not all of them are complete. Maybe under the boat is better. Let me add a little more. The Goddess of Mercy as we call them in Thailand isn’t actually just one. There are two main ones: Maju and Jui Buai. Both are goddesses of the water, but they come from different regions of China. They dress similarly. Many people call them the same goddess. But because there’s a lot of confusion, nowadays, the shrines in Thailand have been combined into one, but in different regions. That ‘s all. This is the first temple we stopped by. I have to say that there weren’t many people, but it’s quite modern . We can buy worship equipment or something like that so we can worship right away. When we go in to pray, light 3 incense sticks, right? Pray for safety and then take gold. Gold is sold for 20 Hong Kong dollars, which is about 100 baht in Thai money. Then take it and paste it in the spots that we feel promote the issues that we are interested in at that time or something like that. About 10 tour buses can go to Wong Tai Sin Temple. Actually, many people should have been here before. Have people who come to Hong Kong ever been here? / Yes, I have been. It is a famous temple, right? Everyone comes. So we came too. Let me introduce it to you. It is an apartment building. I don’t know whose building it is, but it is painted in a style that can be called a spiritual center. All Hong Kong people, wow , how many tour buses come ? This place is also famous for love. Some people come to pray for love, like praying for red strings of prayer, right? There are many reasons and factors for coming to pray. Let’s go see what they are. Let’s go. If we talk about the most popular spiritual temples for Thai people in Hong Kong, the name of the temple is Wong Tai Sin Temple. It must be on the list for sure. Many people may already be familiar with the name Wong Tai Sin. This temple was built in 1921 and is considered one of the most famous for granting wishes and making them come true , especially for health and love. The main deity of this temple is Wong Tai Sin. According to legend, he was once a golden turtle on the throne of the Jade Emperor until he was reborn as a human during the Jin Dynasty. During this time, he performed many good deeds, practicing asceticism and concocting medicine to heal people, earning his followers. He was then revered as a god, believed to have the ability to cure diseases. Therefore, many people come to pray for health . But it’s not just health; this temple is also famous for matters of love, thanks to the deity Yue Lou, also known as the God of the Red String . According to legend, he is an old man whose wife has died and prays to be reunited with his lover on the moon. He is believed to hold a book containing the names of his soul mates tied with a red string. To pray, begin by praying in front of the deity. Then, hold the red string in your hand as instructed . The key is to not let the string slip. Then, rub the feet of the statue of your desired soul mate. And take the red string and tie it to the rope on the side. When the ceremony is finished, walk back out and pray again. That’s all. But when we went, it just happened to be closed for renovations at the moment. Because if anyone wants to come and pray for a partner right now, I’ll tell you that it’s worse than before. Not only do you not have a partner, when you arrive, the gods will run away from you. Oh my, so many people want to stop me . They come and do something, I don’t know why, but they’re stroking the dragon. They’re stroking. Just imagine, this temple has escalators. How convenient is that? We ‘re going upstairs now. This is the zodiac gods here. Wow, there are so many of them. And on your hands, people will come and rub them. I think I should rub them. My birth year is the Year of the Ox . They made an area for people to light incense and cast lots for blessings. It ‘s really big. This is because there are so many people. The way to worship is like there are three gods, right? We have to worship together and then stick the incense separately. But what I saw, older people, when they’re done worshiping, they’ll turn to worship in four directions: behind first, then turn to the right, then turn to worship the gods and then turn to the left. Yes, and then they stick the incense in. And some people believe that if they want good luck, like if they want money or something, they’ll take their equipment, wallets , or things they use to make a living and circle them over the incense three times. Yes, that’s it. We can go and get the lots to make a prediction. The lots here are free . They’ll give you a piece of paper. It’s like writing down the numbers and then going to get them at another place. This one, like P’Jub, also uses the phone to make calls / make a living. I ‘ve been around 3 times. Good luck, get rich / wallet too. Oops / be careful of the heat. Get rich, get rich. After we’ve thrown the fortune sticks, they’ll have paper, like Pin said, to write down the numbers, right? And they have a machine like this . Walk down the stairs and there’s a machine like this. Then, press the numbers you want and press to print and you’ll get a sheet. This is it. After everyone has finished praying, right? Walk to the right and walk down. You’ll find the General Office booth right here. Then, you can just press the number. Yes, this is it. The people who come to pray, the Old Man of the Moon, pray for love. It’s like he’s writing something. Let me translate. Yue Lou is temporarily closed. It’s basically from March 17th until it’s finished. I don’t know when that will be. So, if anyone wants to pray for love during this time, it’s closed. I’ve never had any luck with love. Even when they come to pray to the gods, they close the door and avoid everyone. Think about it. This isn’t me. I’m just explaining that in case people come during this time and say that they’re coming to pray for a soul mate, for love. It turns out they’ve arrived. The temple has already been closed. It’s undergoing renovations. The temple is closed for renovations, everyone. Okay, and this is Wong Tai Sin. It’s probably the biggest temple in Hong Kong, and it’s so crowded. So, worship in the right way. It might bring good fortune. When doing merit-making, do it with a good heart. Don’t overdo it. Do something that doesn’t cause you any trouble . It will give you a more confident attitude towards life. It will promote itself. Okay, let’s go . We’re out in front of the temple. Wow, there are so many people . If I didn’t see the temple behind me, I would feel like I was going to Disneyland. At first, it was a Disneyland that a lot of adults visit. There are so many people. Like at the entrance. Now , I only have one question. Do you know what’s ahead? It’s the Temple Mall. Translated into Thai, it means a temple , a temple shopping center. Everyone, look at the Temple Mall. It’s huge and magnificent. Go and have a look. It doesn’t sell temple products. It’s a normal shopping center, just next to the temple. It’s big . What kind of shopping center is it? This mall sells well by default because there are a lot of people coming to worship, right? After that, we ate right away. There are restaurants and shopping options, complete with everything. Next up is Chi Lin Nunnery. They say that this is probably the only Mahayana Buddhist nunnery in Hong Kong. They also say that this place has very strong natural energy . Anyone who stays there will be able to eliminate bad things, stress, and various other things from their minds. The next place is another spot that I must say is very peaceful . I never knew that there was such a beautiful place in Hong Kong. This is Chi Lin Nunnery. It is a Mahayana Buddhist nunnery. Built in 1934, this building is unique because it is entirely made of wood and does not use a single nail. It is said to be the only one in Hong Kong built this way. The architecture of the temple is in the Tang Dynasty style. Inside, many important Buddha images are enshrined . In front of the temple is a large lotus pond, which is an important symbol of Buddhism. Most people who come here do not come to pray for anything in particular, but to calm their minds. It is believed that paying homage here will help eliminate stress, bad things, and bad luck. If you walk a little further out of the temple, you will find Nan Lian Garden , which was also designed in the Tang Dynasty style. The highlight is the golden pavilion in the middle of the water. It is a popular spot where everyone stops to take photos. It is very beautiful. It has a Japanese-style atmosphere, I am not sure. It is very beautiful . Coming from inside, I will say that everyone is very beautiful . It is truly beautiful . The wood is all over the building. Wow, it is so beautiful. The wood is smooth and detailed. It is beautiful. And the Buddha image inside, I must say that it is a golden color. It looks clean and peaceful. There are very few people. This is great. I couldn’t take any photos of the inside, so I cannot share them with you. But I want everyone to come and see for yourself. It’s very good. There are very few people. When you go in, you feel truly peaceful. Because they ask for peace, right? Like, no stress. Going in, you feel very relaxed, really good. This should be the one that I went to and really liked and was impressed with. It’s the Chi Lin Nunnery. Come back again. What is this? Fo Ge Fo Ge has a minimum order of HK$45 per person . You have to eat this much. You can’t just sit and do nothing. Try it first to see if the taste is the same. From what I’ve eaten before, try it . It’s delicious . You won’t get kicked anymore. You won’t get kicked anymore. I told you, I told you, I told you. After we finish eating , we’ll cross over to Hong Kong Island. We’ll go to Man Mo Temple. Man Mo is a famous temple. It’s an ancient temple in the city. I have to say that Man Mo actually has two gods in the temple. Some people are interested in the god of literature, learning, or anything like that. There’s God Man. And Mo is God Guan Yu. He ‘s a god of war. So they divide it into martial arts and civil martial arts. Civil and martial arts, it depends on which side we want to worship. They will go to worship together. Let’s walk about 4 minutes away from the Fogi restaurant where we ate earlier. We ‘re there. Have you been here before ? Like I said, yes. This place is in the middle of the city and there are a lot of people worshiping here. Let’s go to another temple. This is Man Mo Temple. I have to say that it was built between 1847-1862. Mainly, people come to worship two deities. The one covered in red cloth is Man. He is the god of literature. Therefore, it is very popular among academics, such as students, who come to pray for success in their studies. The other deity covered in green cloth is Mo. He is the god of fighting. People usually come to pray for honesty and loyalty among those around them. Or if someone has been cheated and wants justice, they will come to pray here as well . It would be better if you worship both deities at the same time. If you want to pray for success in your studies, pray to Man. Buy a green ribbon, write your name on it, and circle the ribbon over the incense smoke. And you can bring your school supplies along. As for how to worship the god Mo, there will be a worship set for you to buy. First of all, you have to light candles. After that, light 3 large incense sticks to worship the earth, sky, and air. Next, light small incense sticks to worship and ask for blessings from the god. As for the paper to write your wishes on. Place it here and wait for the officials to burn it. Done. On the roof, they said that there will be a symbol of a fish and a dragon. It is a fish with a dragon’s head. It is responsible for protecting this temple. It is a symbol of… Feng Shui or something like that . And around it is a shrine that can be called unusual because it is surrounded by buildings. See? It is in the middle of a forest of buildings. Let’s come to another temple. This is a famous temple. This is the Guan Yin Temple in Hong Ham. It was built since 1873. It is very popular among people who believe in Guan Yin. People usually come to pray for good fortune and finances because this place has a special ceremony called “Borrowing Money from Guan Yin”. This method is held only once a year on the day of opening wealth, which is held 26 days after Chinese New Year . The method is to start by worshipping flowers, lighting incense and candles, and making a wish. State your name, surname, address, and the amount of money you want. Do not make a vow. After that, stick the incense into a large pot and put the incense powder into a prepared red envelope. Before circling the red envelope three times over the incense pot, keep the envelope. If your wish comes true, you must return to pay your respects with the offering set and joss paper and gold paper. It’s like returning the money to Guan Yin. But even if you can’t come during that time, it’s okay, everyone. Because we can worship and pray for blessings and good fortune all year round . Most importantly, the temple has a worship method in Thai. Plus, the staff speak Thai very clearly, which means there must be a lot of Thai people. Anyone who wants to come can come and try it. It ‘s done. There were some mistakes, I apologize already. But there is a sign indicating which one to stick. But because there are a lot of pots to stick, we were confused. However, the staff can speak Thai, so if anyone is confused, feel free to ask the staff. This is to pray to Guan Yin. You can pray for anything. This is a matter of personal belief. However, it doesn’t cost a lot. About 40 Hong Kong dollars to buy the worship set, which is about 160 baht. 160-170 baht is about 200 baht. After praying, it will bring good fortune and boost your confidence in life. So that’s it. That’s today’s mission. Well, we still have one last place left. Everyone should know that I came here to fulfill a wish I made last year, which is now the third year . Let’s go see it tomorrow. This time, we’ll have a convenient trip because we have the Wilson Baggage Luggage. This model is very convenient because it’s a front-loading bag. This bag has many functions, such as expanding the sides to increase the luggage space. The bottom of the bag has BottomGrip, making it easy to lift . It also has Hinomoto wheels with the HinoBrake braking system. Where will you take it? It’s easy to pull. The materials used are strong and light. If you like to travel, I recommend Baggage Luggage. There are many models, sizes, and colors to choose from. You can buy them at leading department stores or order them through the marketplace. Just type in Baggage Luggage and you’ll find it. That’s it, everyone. And so we’ve arrived at the last place. To put it simply, this is my entire intention for this trip to Hong Kong. Because in fact, I have to say that this is the third time I’ve come to make a wish here. I got it both times. My request wasn’t much. I just followed their rituals and concluded by saying that if I get it, I’ll come back to make a wish again next year. This is my third visit because I already went last year. That’s it. Let’s go. This is Che Kung Temple. And finally, this is the temple that is one of the important missions and the destination that made me come to Hong Kong for 3 years in a row. That is Che Kung Temple, or what Thai people call the Windmill Temple. This place was built to worship General Che Kung. You may ask who he is. He was a very capable general during the Southern Song Dynasty. At that time, he successfully defeated the rebellion in southern China . Even after his death, people still believed in him, and he is revered as a god to this day. Today, this temple is very famous for granting wishes for good fortune, wealth, and prosperity. Okay, I’ll show you the set . I bought the most expensive set because I’ve always had it. I didn’t take a picture because everyone came to buy it, to pay respects, to follow along. Here’s the carving. Wow , and the tour group was entirely Thai. We’re Thai people, you know? We don’t believe things easily. They had tours, and they had a script, but I never said anything. I just paid respects and prayed silently. That’s it. There were so many Thais that I now have Thai language. The staff can speak Thai . And then there were Thai tour groups, so we could just follow along. Here’s a rough guide to how to pray. First, we need to buy an incense set. Then , we write our name, surname, and the blessing we want on red paper . We start by lighting the incense and praying to heaven and earth. Then, we stick the incense in it, following the steps. There will be an official to explain the steps. After sticking all the incense in, Let’s turn the windmill next to the statue of General Che Kung. The four blades represent safe travel, good health, good fortune, and fulfillment of wishes. To turn, if your life isn’t smooth yet, turn from left to right. But if your life is already smooth but you want it to get better, turn from right to left. Then, hit the drums on both sides, three times on the left and right , and put the written wish paper into the box to wait for the next ceremony. Okay, everyone. Now I have achieved my goal of coming to Hong Kong. As I said, this is a matter of personal belief. I don’t know if it ‘s true or not . But from my perspective, I feel that if making a wish really exists, this is my logic. I think it should come from 1. If it really exists, I believe that they wouldn’t grant every wish successfully. If there is a sacred being, what should it be called? It inspires opportunities to come to us. Now, when opportunities come to us, the important thing is whether we have the qualities and are ready to accept that opportunity. Simply put, are we good enough? Are we capable enough? That’s all. So, when I come to make a wish, what I will go back to do is to be diligent. I will work hard and develop myself even more than before. When good opportunities come, I will receive them all. When I can receive them all, my wishes will come true. Like I have come to pray twice before, and both times I got them. I have to say that I think part of it might be because praying for blessings brings good opportunities. Secondly, I have determination and do everything well with the opportunities I have received, so it came true. This time I will pray again. Let’s see if I will come again next year. Because if my prayers come true, I will have to come again next year. Coming is called paying respects again because I asked for them like that. But this time we went to many places because we wanted to know why Hong Kong is famous for its superstitions. Why do they have different beliefs? Feng shui and so on. There are so many buildings. These are just forms of belief. Please use your discretion when viewing. If anyone wants to follow in my footsteps, try paying respects or come with a tour like this. You don’t have to remember anything yourself. Just go and pay your respects as others do. For those who like this clip, don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe to Skype. Today we will continue our journey. Bye-bye.
