【インドネシア🇮🇩ひとり旅】コモド島ダイビングで見た絶景【Day1,2】
Indonesian food Nasi Goreng This seisapi is meat, this is also a traditional Indonesian dish It looks like smoked beef, it looks so delicious Good morning, this is Miroku This time I’m going to Komodo Island in Indonesia for 3 nights and 4 days Speaking of Komodo Island, it’s the Komodo Dragon, that huge lizard We start from Haneda Airport late at night The seats are a little narrow, but it can’t be helped since the fare is cheap The air conditioning is as strong as a refrigerator…it’s impossible 🥶 I arrived at Ho Chi Minh Airport in Vietnam and next headed to Denpasar, Indonesia I have some time before my flight to Indonesia so I’ll have pho for breakfast I chose 11.5 USD, a little expensive, but it’s an airport after all I’ve arrived at Denpasar Airport in Bali, Indonesia This time I’ll have one more transfer to go to an island called Labuan Bajo near Komodo Island If you travel from Japan to Indonesia you will need a VISA This VOA (Visa On Arrival) Arrival) is a visa that can be processed after arriving at the airport. I think the visa application fee was around 4,000 yen. There are lines in various places, so I don’t know where to line up. I’ve already applied in advance, so can I just go directly to immigration? Huh? Maybe it was recorded in my passport because I skipped all the lines and just scanned my passport once and it was done. E-VOA is incredibly easy so I recommend it. It looks like you can use one of the computers in the area once you arrive at the airport. I left Denpasar Airport for the first time. Wow, it really has a Balinese atmosphere! This time I’ll be taking a domestic flight to Labuan Bajo. Starbucks is everywhere, which is really convenient! This is in the Denpasar region of Bali and the name of the airport is Ngurah Rai. I don’t think there are any words in Japanese that start with “n”, so Ngurah Rai is very unusual, isn’t it? The Indonesian currency is Indonesian Rupiah (IDR), which is 0.0091 yen in Japanese yen. Roughly speaking, if you subtract two zeros from the amount, the calculation will roughly match. Finally , it’s the last plane of the day. I’ll take this to Labuan Bajo. It’s as cold as a refrigerator again… I can’t handle it 🥶 I’ve arrived in Labuan Bajo. It’s been a long journey, about 17 hours including two transfers, and I’m exhausted. The seats on the LCC are narrow, so I can’t move and my whole body hurts. It’s supposed to be 27°C today, but maybe the humidity is low? It doesn’t feel hot at all. I withdrew 1 million Indonesian rupiah. 1 million seems like a lot, but in Japanese yen it’s about 10,000 yen. It ‘s about 1.5km to the hotel, but Grab motorbikes are cheap, so I’ll take a ride. In Indonesia, besides Grab, Gojek seems to be a popular ride-hailing app. Today’s hotel is here. Kasuwari This is the hotel. The atmosphere is lovely, surrounded by nature. It’s a quiet hotel, and it’s really nice. This is my room for today. As soon as I entered, there was a large bed, which was nice. There was a desk, but for some reason no chair. That’s okay. There was also a place to draw simple clothes, a bath towel, a toilet, and a shower. There seemed to be a balcony over here, which was quite spacious. Oh, there’s a chair here. I’ll use it. The view was like this. It was a quiet place, like a rural town. I planned to stay here for three nights, and it cost just over ¥8,000. Considering ¥3,000 per night, that’s pretty cheap . There’s air conditioning, too. It’s only 7 p.m., but it’s pitch black outside. Let’s go get some food early. Nasi goreng and mie goreng are famous in Indonesia. There seem to be quite a few restaurants open late, but the streets are very dark. In some places, the sidewalks aren’t well-maintained, so walking in the dark can be a bit dangerous. There are hardly any people walking around, so I don’t feel unsafe. Occasionally, there are dogs sleeping on the street, so be careful. This restaurant has a high Google review score, so I chose it. It’s a restaurant in a hotel called EL’Ora, so I think I’m in the right place . Oh, the interior smells delicious. Saya mau ini. (Can I have this, please?) Apakah ada Coke? (Do you have Coke?) Unfortunately, they don’t seem to have Coke . I ordered nasi goreng and something called Sei Sapi, I think it’s meat. The bottle of water was 6,000 IDR, about 60 yen. That’s cheap. [A common problem with plastic bottles overseas] The cap doesn’t come off cleanly, and it’s filled to the brim , so it spills out when you open it. Oh, it’s cold, which is nice. We don’t have a refrigerator in our hotel, so it’s hard to get cold water . Wow , that looks so delicious! This is Indonesian nasi goreng and meat. This meat is also a traditional Indonesian dish. It looks like smoked beef. It looks incredibly delicious. I added an egg too. Let’s eat. It smells incredibly delicious . Yes. It’s so delicious. This is a flavor that is quite familiar to Japanese people. It tastes like fried rice. This is smoked beef called Sei Sapi. It’s quite salty, like beef jerky. It’s also delicious. It ‘s just a regular fried egg, but adding this makes me feel happy . What is this? It looks like some kind of traditional sweet. I thought it was a sweet donut, but it said chicken or BBQ chicken, so I guess it’s like a savory bread with meat inside. It was a feast. Nasi goreng was incredibly delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant. What was the name of that smoked meat again? It was quite salty and very delicious. I’m looking forward to the meals from tomorrow onwards. Tomorrow I’m going to Komodo Island by boat to try scuba diving. I wonder what kind of marine life I’ll see. It will probably be pitch black on the way back, so I’ll call it a day. Sampai jumpa besok (see you tomorrow). 400ml of water was 4,000IDR (40JPY) – super cheap! Over here it was 2,000IDR (20JPY) for 600ml!? MILO biscuits are 12,000 IDR (110 JPY), and cookie-like treats are 10,000 IDR (90 JPY). I bought some snacks for dinner or tomorrow’s breakfast. The one on the right is 7,500 IDR (70 JPY), and the one on the left is 8,000 IDR (75 JPY). The next morning , Selamat pagi (Good morning), this is miroku. It’s the second morning in Indonesia. We’ll be diving at Komodo Island this morning. The current temperature is 20°C, and it’s expected to reach a maximum of about 28°C, but it’s still pretty cold this morning . We’ve arrived at the meeting point. There are lots of divers gathered. We’re leaving now, and the boat is quite large. We’ll have snacks, so we’ll take it easy. The second floor of the boat looks like this, so you can relax. The blue ocean and the unknown islands are amazing!! Now, let’s get started! Camel Rareness: ★☆☆☆☆ Its movements are slow and cute. If it’s serious, it can reach speeds of 10-20km/h, but apparently it prioritizes efficiency and basically speeds up to 1km/h. See you, turtle! 👋 I can dive even if I’m such a bad swimmer (lol). I’m taking a break after the first dive. I’ll take another one after an hour’s break. It’s cold, like a boat. The wind is strong. The water is pretty cold, and I’m shivering. Ah, I’m tired. I’ll go for another dive. This fish has cute lips. I don’t know its name . Its eyes are sparkling, like a cartoon. I don’t know its name. It’s time for lunch, but before that, I ‘ll have some Indonesian coffee. Apparently, they pour hot water directly onto the coffee beans, wait for them to sink, and then drink the liquid. This is Indonesian. The boat staff prepared lunch for me. It looks delicious! 🤤 Lunch looks so delicious. Is this chicken? Let’s eat. It looks so delicious. Chicken and something like glass noodles, and maybe pork ribs? What is this? It’s like a sauce. Is it sambal? Is this sauce spicy? Oh, it’s quite spicy, but it’s very delicious. After two dives, I returned to the port. The sun came out in the second half and it got quite warm. I’ll go back to the hotel and take a shower before going out somewhere. My hair is a mess from the sea water. I want to get home quickly and take a shower. Looking back, it’s a lovely, peaceful hotel. It’s already dark at 6 PM. Let’s go get something to eat. Let’s go to that food stall right in front of the hotel. I wanted to eat at a food stall, but three in a row said they had nothing. Shall we go to a restaurant? Mari Makan, this place should be open. There are lots of dogs sleeping and no customers at all. I wonder if they’re open? They’re closed… Shall we go to this restaurant ? They’re closed…😭 Even though it says it’s open on Google Maps, when we actually get there, it’s completely closed. Let’s go to a big restaurant like this. Is it called Smoris Restaurant? It seems like they ‘ll be open this time. This is a really stylish restaurant. What should I do? I want to eat mie goreng and a few other things today. This restaurant seems to have Coke. I can finally drink it, I’m looking forward to it . The restaurant has a great atmosphere, but there are no customers. It feels like there aren’t many people on this island to begin with. I think this is an official Coca-Cola store. It has a name. What is it? Ngab? Is it an Indonesian original? I was also given a glass with ice in it . Wow, it looks incredibly delicious. This is my first Coke since coming to Indonesia, I’ll have one. It’s great 👍 It’s not too sweet and the carbonation is quite strong, and I think it has some kind of spice in it. It’s completely different to the cola I usually drink. It’s fun to see how the flavor varies depending on the country. The crispy tofu has arrived. There’s a huge amount, it’s amazing, I didn’t expect to see so much. The sauce is sambal. The sauce I had on the boat for lunch also tastes like sambal, a traditional Indonesian sauce, quite spicy and incredibly delicious. I’ll have some crispy tofu. Is it like a fritter? Yes, it’s definitely tofu. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The sambal is delicious. It’s quite spicy and gradually goes numb. I also had mie goreng, which is like Indonesian fried noodles. I chose chicken this time and it looked delicious. It’s similar to Japanese fried noodles, but there are some differences. It seems to be seasoned with a sweet soy sauce called kecap manis and fish sauce. The ingredients for mie goreng seem to vary depending on the restaurant. There’s spinach-like grass and green onions, chicken, and chicken meatballs. It’s quite spicy. Apparently there are spicier versions too, but I can’t eat it if it’s too spicy, so I went for the standard version. The Coke was spicy, and the mie goreng was spicy too. It went numb in my mouth. It was a feast! The restaurant had a nice atmosphere. Recommendation: ★★★☆☆ With over 300 Google reviews and a score of 4.9, the food and service were satisfactory. The price was a little high, though. Tomorrow morning, I’m going on a Komodo Island hopping tour. Next time, I’ll visit Komodo Island on land. I hope I can see the Komodo dragons! Selamat tidur (good night) Sampai jumpa besok (see you tomorrow) Is this the correct greeting…? The biscuits I bought yesterday were really delicious, so I think I’ll buy some again. Delicious-looking biscuits, 7,600 rupiah (70 JPY). Water is really cheap, about 4,800 IDR (40 JPY). Coke and Sprite are bottled, but they’re about 5,500 IDR (50 JPY). Super cheap! I’ll buy water and these biscuits. About 100 JPY. It’s still 5 AM. I’m on an island hopping tour. Looking out at the islands floating in the sea from Padar Island. What a spectacular view 🏝️. Searching for the long-awaited Komodo dragon on Komodo Island 🐊. Maybe I’ll finally spot one…!? Like👍. Please subscribe to my channel!

Hola Miroku-san!
