【名古屋】名古屋飯が止まらない🍤母と行く1泊2日の女子旅Vlog🚄

Hi, my name is Shie. I recently went on a two-day trip to Nagoya with my mother. We arrived and immediately went for lunch! We went to the ESCA branch of Furaibo, located in the underground shopping mall called ESCA, right next to the Shinkansen exit of Nagoya Station. I ordered the lunch set (1,100 yen). Just looking at it, it was amazing! It included Nagoya’s specialty beef tendon stew and four chicken wings. It also came with miso soup, a side dish, and dessert. I started with the chicken wings. They were delicious the moment I put them in my mouth! Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and seasoned with spices. Next, I tried the beef tendon stew. The beef tendon was stewed and very tender. I also enjoyed the rich miso flavor and the texture of the konjac. It was the last one…sad. (It would have been nice to buy some to take home.) Finally, I had some soft warabi mochi. Thank you for the meal. Next, I wanted to take a bus to Noritake Garden, but I didn’t know which bus to take. A kind Nagoya local nearby gave me directions, and since it looked like the bus wouldn’t be coming anytime soon, I decided to walk. It took about 10 minutes to walk there. It was closer than I expected. Opened in 2001, Noritake Garden is a collection of parks, museums, shops, cafes, and restaurants. The contrast between blue and green is beautiful. The park was so lovely! If it were nearby, I’d walk there every day. The grounds are quite large, covering approximately 34,000 square meters. I’m glad that such a wonderful park is free to enter. The fountain is a nice touch. The red brick buildings, built in the Meiji era, are worth seeing. The cafe terrace is also lovely. The view is truly picturesque no matter where you look. It would also be nice to sit and relax on a bench. I looked at a lot of tableware in the shop. I was considering whether to buy something I had my eye on… when I saw six huge chimneys. This is the remains of a tunnel kiln built in 1933 for firing ceramics. This is Chimney Square, and its relaxing atmosphere is also nice. I was able to spend some quiet time away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Right next to Noritake Garden is AEON Mall. There’s something I want to see at the TSUTAYA BOOK STORE on the second floor. Before that, I took a break at the Starbucks next door. I ordered an iced chai tea latte (480 yen) and a hand-squeezed chestnut Mont Blanc (590 yen). I can’t drink coffee, so I usually go for the chai tea latte. The Mont Blanc, which was new at the time and featured an autumn menu, was a delight. It was filled with chestnut mousse and whipped cream. I ate the large chestnut halfway through. Thank you for the meal. I went to the bookshelf I could see in the distance. This was what I wanted to see. The huge bookshelf has an impressive mirrored ceiling. It’s a beautiful photo spot. I wanted to see it, so I’m glad I was able to come! Finally, I returned to the shop in Noritake Garden. I bought a mug I’d been eyeing! (It’s microwave-safe.) Then, I returned to Nagoya Station and took the subway to my hotel. I arrived at Hisaya -odori Station. I was staying at Hotel androoms Nagoya Sakae, about a five-minute walk from Hisaya-odori Station. There’s also a cafe on the first floor. I checked in and headed to my room. I arrived on the 11th floor, where my room was. This is the room. Let’s go inside. Slippers were provided, and I had to take my shoes off before entering. This room is a superior twin. It’s 25 square meters in size. The price for a two-day, one-night stay with breakfast was 22,660 yen for two people (11,330 yen per person). There were two 120cm beds. One-piece nightwear was provided. I was very happy to have a sofa. The table and chairs were also convenient. There was a TV and a large full-length mirror near the entrance. There was deodorant available. I also had a bag to take to the large public bath. Opening the shelf under the TV, I found a refrigerator, mugs, an electric kettle, and more. There was no water, but they did provide a welcome drink. I took a look at the view outside. The view from this room was of Hisaya Odori Park. I could enjoy both the buildings and the greenery. I could even see a little bit of the tower on the right side. Opening this door, I found all the bathroom amenities. First, the sink. Amenities are provided at the front desk (toothbrush, razor, hairbrush, cotton, cotton swabs, etc.) . There was also face and hand soap. Opening this door, I found the bathroom, which I appreciated had its own washing area. It was bright with a window. I could soak in it for a long time and relax. Conditioner, shampoo, and body soap were all in this area. Opening this door, I found the toilet. It also had a window and was bright. I was very happy that it was separate from the bathroom. The entrance to the room looked like this, and there were hangers here. After relaxing at the hotel, it was completely dark outside. It was about time to go for dinner. The tower was beautiful! I want to see it right in front of me, but I’ll save that for after dinner and head to the restaurant first. The rainbow-colored pedestrian bridge is also cute. I head to a building right next to the tower. This is Hoshigaoka Noodle Factory ‘s Hisaya Odori branch. They specialize in kishimen noodles. I ordered the Shrimp Grated Orochi (1,660 yen). The kishimen noodles were impressive and luxurious. I was surprised at how thick they were! I mixed the noodles with cold broth. The grated daikon radish and sudachi citrus gave it a refreshing taste. I dipped the crispy shrimp tempura in the broth and ate it. The shrimp was bouncy and absolutely delicious. Thank you for the meal. Now, let’s go see the tower. It’s called the Chubu Electric Power MIRAI TOWER. It was built in 1954 and is 180 meters tall. It’s designated as a national important cultural property. When I arrived at the front, it was exactly 7 p.m. and shining brightly. I was directly in front of it. I was mesmerized by the tower’s reflection in the water. Next time I visit, I’d like to go to the observation deck. I stopped by a convenience store on my way back. Finally, I returned to the hotel. I was greeted with a welcome drink. Goodnight. Good morning, it’s morning. Looking out the window at the park, I could see people exercising and strolling, and just watching them made me feel refreshed. I told them what breakfast I wanted when I checked in. Apparently , they can deliver the breakfast set to your door. We ate at the cafe on the first floor. The space was bright and stylish. I chose the Ogura Butter breakfast set. I chose something Nagoya-esque. Apparently, the breakfast set is only available to overnight guests. It also comes with chips, salad, and a drink. My mother chose the Chicken Breast Nicoise. (I was seriously considering this too!) Let’s eat. The homemade baguette was brimming with bean paste and butter. Just looking at it made me happy. I was thinking of eating it as is, but it’s easier to eat if you put it in the bag that came with it. The combination of melted butter and red bean paste is amazing. The balance of sweet and salty is enjoyable, making me feel even better. There are also plenty of chips, so I couldn’t stop eating. I can see how addictive it is. I also had a salad, and felt like I was doing something good for my body. Thank you for the meal. After eating so much, I decided to go for a walk. I went to Hisaya Odori Park in front of the hotel. I thought about going there, but it seems the park ends around here. So, I decided to head towards Nagoya Castle. I hoped I could see it, even if just a little, from a distance. There was a building in the direction of Nagoya Castle, so I walked a little further. Suddenly, I saw a cool building. The building behind it was also cool, so I went to see it. This was the Aichi Prefectural Office. It is said to combine Western style with the design of a castle tower. Next to it was Nagoya City Hall. These two imposing buildings are designated as Important Cultural Properties of Japan. Nagoya Castle was surrounded by trees and was therefore hidden from view. Lol. It was about time to head back to the hotel. A manhole cover with a Nagoya vibe. What is this? (A water strider?) After a 30-minute walk, we checked out. Thank you. After that, we met up with our family. Additional information: We also tried a variety of Nagoya dishes! This is Taiwanese mazesoba. I topped it with a raw egg. I mixed it thoroughly. The chewy noodles were perfectly coated with the rich, spicy sauce, and it was very satisfying. We also went for grilled chicken. The restaurant has a casual izakaya atmosphere. You can choose your favorite cut of chicken, and the staff will grill it to perfection. We thoroughly enjoyed the grilled chicken and other menu items. We also went for breakfast. This is a long-established Western-style pastry shop founded in 1963, with an attached cafe. We arrived at opening time. That looked delicious. This looked delicious too. First, we had hot tea. (The Nanbu ironware is so cool!) Then the French toast arrived. It was moist and luxurious. We enjoyed it with ice cream, strawberry sauce, and maple syrup, changing the flavor. An elegant breakfast that makes you feel happy. It was worth waiting 15 minutes for it to cook. Thank you for watching. Please like and subscribe to my channel.
