Feeling happy, I’m going to bed now. Good morning! I didn’t notice it yesterday, but I could see the beautiful ocean from my room. I ‘m going to explore this island thoroughly over the next two days. Let’s drive around the entire island . The circumference is about 80km, and there are many recommended routes that take about 7 hours. First, let’s stop at a cute spot: Boma Heart. This spot along the coast of Boma village is perfect for social media posts. The blue ocean and cute hearts create a lovely, relaxing atmosphere. You might imagine a calm ocean surrounded by coral, but here you can hear the sound of raging waves. Rikubama Beach This beach has few coral reefs, so it’s popular with surfers. The waves are strong, and the ocean was more violent than I imagined. Next, let’s take a look at the most beautiful ocean of this trip, right near Rikubama Beach . In front of this crystal clear ocean, the stresses of everyday life are swept away by the waves . Doing things well, rushing, and everything else seem to become irrelevant. My heart is filled with joy in this moment, just like this blue ocean. Looking up into the distance, I found a small observation deck. This is a special place with no one around. I had only just climbed up, but when I reached the top of the small observation deck , a view beyond my expectations awaited me. A beautiful, powerful ocean that left me mesmerized. No words were needed for its beauty; it was deeper than words, more vivid than memory. This ocean spoke to my heart. It’s impossible to convey everything through the images, but this was definitely a spectacular view that I should see at least once in my life. I discovered a cafe with a tropical feel . Mushiroze Coast The name comes from the flat rocks that look like they’ve been covered with a traditional mat called “Mushiro.” Formed by the carving of granite that was formed deep underground over 60 million years ago , this rugged grey megalithic formation stretches on and on for over 60 million years. It’s so majestic and sublime, so vast and unforgiving, and mysterious that you feel a sense of loneliness, as if cut off from the rest of the world. It’s a spectacular view that feels like the end of the world. Along with Mushiro-se, we’ll head to a spot we’d like to visit. First, from the observation deck where you can see the whole view, the sea shines a deep blue color, in stark contrast to the sea dyed by the setting sun. How beautiful is it? Let’s get a little closer to the sea . Megane-iwa Rock looks interesting too! The path stretching out into the sunset is also beautiful. After descending a gentle staircase with little incline, a hole that looks like an entrance to something comes into view. Innojofuta (Megane-iwa Rock) Two large sea caves (arches) symbolize Megane Rock . It is said that the name Innojofuta comes from the anecdote that wild dogs that began attacking people during the Great Famine were thrown into the sea from this cliff. These famous spots have various origins. The silhouette of the strange rocks and the sunset sinking into the horizon are fantastic, and the arch like a natural picture frame seems like a gateway to the natural beauty of Tokunoshima. CAPEIn Thai LandBattleship Yamato Memorial Monument A memorial tower dedicated to the battleship Yamato and its crew, which sank on April 7, 1945.A huge tower standing tall on a vast, empty site.The overwhelming beauty of the majestic nature and the deep sadness of the loss of so many lives come together here at Cape Inutabu. The memorial tower, pointing to the heavens, is a prayer tower in which hands are joined in prayer for those who died. It is 24 meters high, the same height as the sunken battleship Yamato. The names of all the war dead are engraved on the memorial, and prayers will continue to be offered today and tomorrow. This is a special place where beauty and sadness coexist. Standing in front of the memorial tower, the vast expanse of cobalt blue sea stretches out before your eyes. In the light of repose, dyed orange by the sunset, you offer prayers for all the lives that rest in this sea. There is a mysterious feeling in this place that cannot be captured on camera.
