Japan’s Most BEAUTIFUL Model Rail Modules & Diorama Art!
Thank you for always riding with Choo-Choo Travel. This time, we bring you coverage of the Model Railway Module Layout Awards 2025! At Shinagawa Station for transfers… Even the mailbox is railway-themed. Parallel running is just irresistible. Let’s head there by rental bike. Quite enjoyable. Plenty of railway spots. You can see the Shinkansen depot. Nice view. The Rinkai Line is parked here too. Arrival. Located near Haneda Airport. I was number one. Let’s go inside right away. It’s very spacious. Many modules are on display. I’m excited. Looks like they’ll run the vehicles too. Let’s start by walking around the vehicles. So many uniquely designed modules lined up. Looking at them in detail will be fun. Since each one has a different creator, it should be quite a sight. Let’s start by checking out this one that caught my eye. It’s very lively. Oh! The railroad crossing moved! Interesting! The cluttered feel is incredible! Maybe they like railroad crossings? Ah! That was close! They didn’t seem to be linked together after all. A battleship is docked here. Is this the Yokosuka module? Various themes are on display. If any modules catch your eye, let me know! Oh! The monorail! The bullet train is here too. The locomotive depot is pretty cool too. It’s great that each has its own theme. The river sparkles beautifully. So original. Each piece has its own character, and connecting the tracks creates a different charm. A Z gauge train is parked in the background, creating a sense of depth. Makes me want to go to the beach. I love modules themed around nature. I wish I could have seen these trains running too. Let’s take a look at the works of past award winners here. Truly impressive quality. It feels like they cut out the real thing. The color scheme is perfect in every way!! Is this a small country station? It says “Spring at the Chiba Prefecture Isumi Railway and Kominato Railway Junction Station.” Nice~. You can tell they’ve meticulously crafted every detail outside the station too. It seems you can actually see the production process here. Is this a bridge crossing in a snowy landscape? The snow-covered trees look quite impressive now. Oh, is this the Keikyu depot?? Lots of people. Event, maybe? Is this the Keikyu Depot Open Day? Looks like KATO has a booth here too. Here, Keikyu Line trains and some special vehicles are parked. Is this an Izu Kyuko train? A custom design?? Artistic train, isn’t it? KATO’s logo is here too. Let’s check out another module group. The “Resort View Furusato” is guiding us. The real train was hybrid, so I think it was quieter. Now, there’s another fun-looking module gathering over here, so stay tuned! This module especially caught my eye! Is this Chicago?? Near Takadanobaba! The intersection of the Seibu Line and JR is just too much. The foot of Mount Fuji. There are many unique modules, like the moonlit one. This theme is interesting too. Are the river stones real too? Since there’s more than one creator, it’s great to see such a wide variety of modules. They’ve skillfully recreated the upper and lower levels of Shinano-machi Station. The way the mountain is cut out looks good too. Is this meant to be Ochanomizu Station? Personally, I prefer works overflowing with natural charm. Is this the ruins of the power plant at Usui Pass?? I also like the old-fashioned feel that seems to run counter to the times. Truly wonderful!!! It feels like a rural station. Oh, this really feels like Tokyo. I bet it took a lot of patience to create this cluttered feel. The alleyway recreation is also masterful. The underpass recreation is also highly detailed. Wow, it looks just like the real thing. Amazing. Oh, this is a summer festival scene! The quality of the food stalls is incredible. People are moving too. It’s like time has stopped during this fun moment. They’ve really captured the lighting well! Even sparklers are recreated!!! Is this a hotel in the hot spring town? The river is faithfully recreated. Oh, this is a factory! They really did a great job making this!! Is this a trolley track? Trees are growing thickly on the rocks. Isn’t this an open-air bath?! There are deer too. Is that a man? Is this recreating an actual landscape? The weathering is amazing. The construction site looks really well done too. This is another tall module! I’d love to connect this to the factory module from earlier. Wow, the level of detail is incredible. Looks like a piece themed around “Country Town, Station, and Locomotive Depot.” I bet this is everyone’s favorite kind of scene: the good old days of Japan. The grime on the points adds a nice touch. The turntable at the locomotive depot is just irresistible. The parked cars are also just great! Watching this makes me feel so relaxed. Seems to be on display at a hotel near Haneda Airport too. Is this Ochanomizu Station? Could this be Maihama Station, where Disneyland is? Looks like a large layout commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Tokaido Shinkansen. Various trains are parked here. Let’s take a full lap around and see. Is that Osaka Castle?? You can see the Tower of the Sun too. Mount Fuji is coming into view! The rugged mountain scenery is pretty cool too! It’s really disappointing that the vehicles aren’t moving. I really wanted to see it in motion. Let’s take a look at another module group. Guiding us is this train running along the Tokaido Line. It seems poised to powerfully show us various worlds. Th-this back… Anyway, all these original works really catch the eye. This group looks exciting too. Large modules stand out too. The 0 Series Shinkansen. Apparently made entirely by a 10-year-old. Everyone is incredibly skilled at creating rivers! A derelict inn!? There are people in the open-air bath! There was a snow module too. Great work in the snow! Some truly original creations can be seen. Various other works are also on display. Every piece is interesting. Above is the Hakone Ekiden, and below is the platform. Is this New Year’s shrine visit? An apartment building on top of a Toei bus! We’re working hard to deliver all the modules this time! “Press for ghost sounds…” But it says “Do not touch”… This is Ebina Station, right! Godzilla!!! Everyone, I can see the aftermath of your attempts. As long as the creator likes it, that’s what matters! Seems like a lot of these were made by kids and students, but everyone looks like they’ll be big shots someday! I want to create a module myself. Is this the famous “Tsuchiai Station”? It looks like the world inside Totoro. Wha—what is this!? A roulette wheel for destination signs??? So it was bound for “Rapid Hoya”! Mount Fuji is drawn on it too. Various other trains were waiting too. This is…?? I can see tea fields, so maybe Shizuoka? The Tokaido Shinkansen looks great against this backdrop. I really like it, including the color scheme. I’ll stop here and enjoy the scenery. What a beautiful view! I’ll write it down on the ballot I received at the beginning. What a fun time! Let’s make some stops on the way back. This is the Keikyu Line’s flagship store. Keikyu goods are crammed in here. A railroad crossing ballpoint pen! LOL This is a nostalgic medal game from back in the day! Let’s give it a try. (3 games $0.66) Looks like you get a prize if you make it to the goal! Didn’t make it. It ended in a flash…… Let’s shake it off and have a late lunch. This family restaurant, “Saizeriya,” is… Let’s be honest, you can eat while watching the trains go by! The best view!! And this is a whopping $3.29!!! Amazing, absolutely incredible!! It’s the best!! It’s nice to hang out here until nightfall, but… But seeing this car means it’s time to head home. Thank you very much for riding with us to the final stop!
We look forward to seeing you again!

Yk it will be a good day when you can go on aboard with this guy right here❤
Wanna go to Japan 😢
Amazing 😍😍😍
6:53 Surprisingly, the German coal mine “Vollmond” from Bochum appears here. I would very much like to know what connects the model designer to this place. 😄
I was lucky enough to ride the Red Wing train from Hiroshima to Miyajimaguchi Station on my Japan holiday. https://youtu.be/Ll0ceeUR6kw?t=239
We also recommend this! こちらもおすすめ! अनुशंसित भी! Juga direkomendasikan! Auch empfehlenswert! 이쪽도 추천! 還推薦!

The retro 1960's layout view at 15:40 was outstanding. The waterfall at 5:30 was a favorite, too, as was the suspension bridge and mountainside at 10:40. So beautiful. So many stunning layouts. Arigatou for another very enjoyable model train adventure! 🚅🇯🇵
