Dim sum is HK$25 per serving The first round was “Slippery Chicken ” Duck Feet and Shrimp Dumplings The most praiseworthy thing is the filling Regarding prices in Hong Kong HK$25 for such a filling “shrimp dumpling” It is great value Both are HKD 25 This is “Five-spiced beef tripe” This is “Southern Fermented Pork Knuckle” The portion size is amazing Very good value for money Especially this “Southern Fermented Pork Knuckle” Large portion Three fried foods for HK$17 I think this amount is a good deal The fried wontons are very big Served with sweet and sour sauce I think this sauce is like Early “Jin Lu Juice” Hello everyone, I am Momo (毛毛) We are now in Yuen Long, Hong Kong Today I will take you to drink “night tea” Recommended to us by our audience Let’s go now Go Go Go This is Exit B of Long Ping Station We go in this direction It is relatively close to this subway station Turn around and look here It’s a rather special view. There is an open channel here. It’s a big open channel. This open channel Spread to far away places Mountains in the distance Sometimes there are planes passing by The scenery is beautiful This view is very special I saw many people stopping to take pictures. But this canal has a bit of a bad smell On the right Is this a new property? Can any audience tell me? Looks like a high-end property Look at the decorative plants Beautifully manicured Well maintained I also saw many foreigners living here. It may be a more upscale property in Yuen Long High occupancy rate It’s 7 p.m. I think drinking “night tea” At least after sunset More atmosphere We go in this direction After sunset Slightly less hot But it’s still hot The air conditioning in Hong Kong shopping malls is very powerful But I think Yuen Long has relatively few shopping malls So walk on the road Overall it’s still hot Passing by the mall entrance That cool air is really comfortable. Hong Kong now There are also many people delivering food. He rides his bicycle very fast Some children ride bicycles very fast. There is an Indonesian food store here I see a lot of foreigners living here. There are also shops selling Indonesian snacks in the meat and vegetable market This is “Yuen Long” Is this an area with more foreigners? When we reach the end Turn right Entering a more prosperous neighborhood It’s 7pm now, many people should be off work We’re crossing the road But there aren’t many cars on the road. It’s time to get off work. Or are you working overtime? Okay, wait to cross the road. After There’s a second road to cross. The one on the right Go in this direction It’s 7 p.m. Only restaurants and convenience stores are still open. All other shops are closed. Cross the road quickly Traffic lights in Hong Kong change very quickly To pass quickly The light will turn red soon. But in Hong Kong TV series I said “When the green light flashes” “You shouldn’t cross the road.” We must obey traffic rules Italian restaurant Southeast Asian fusion cuisine Because there are many foreigners otherwise How come there are so many restaurants with different tastes? The arcade here There will be a small amount of air conditioning dripping Be careful when you go Yuen Long may not be a very prosperous area So after 7 p.m. There aren’t many people on the street. Here we turn left You’ll see a fruit shop. Almost all sold out Someone is buying the leftover fruit Not far ahead We can see what we are going to eat. This is the “Oriental Dim Sum” This shop A kitchen for making dim sum The right The Oriental Hotel is a place for dim sum Open from 5:00 am Until 3:00 p.m. Open again at 6 p.m. Until 2 a.m. The menu is here Pricing method Divided into different categories For example, “bao dinners” Dine-in is HK$21 per serving A small portion of porridge is HK$21 Large portion is HK$25 Dim Sum: HK$25 per portion “Rice Roll” HK$26 per portion Takeaway prices are HK$1 lower than dine-in prices Tea Price HK$6 per person Meals: HK$30 for dining in It’s fun here For takeaway, you can choose first and pay later. How to buy It is to look at the baskets of “dim sum” and choose them on the spot There is a menu above The more distinctive dim sum is “Mushroom Chicken Buns” “Duck Feet with Taro” “Four Treasures Chicken” Chicken Feet, Shaomai Fresh Bamboo Roll with Oyster Sauce There are many traditional dim sum Common “Shrimp Dumplings” There are “Siomai”, “Lachang” and so on. The desserts are arranged like this When choosing Particularly attractive Saw a lot of locals visiting This is how takeaway is packaged The portion per cage is quite large Let’s pick some that suit our taste. There are other things to eat For example, fried food Rich variety This is the dining environment There are fans and air conditioners, it’s quite cool The shop is not big But the seats are not densely packed Feeling I think, relatively speaking It is a more comfortable restaurant in Hong Kong Soup bowl and chopsticks This time I drank “Daffodil Tea” There are many nostalgic tea varieties The first round was “Slippery Chicken ” Duck Feet and Shrimp Dumplings The portion size is large and very filling Not only choose the method to attract The appearance is also very tempting Each portion is full and fragrant Because it is pre-steamed So the serving speed is very fast When dining in You can place orders with the waiter while sitting at your seat. When taking out Need to place order outside After payment, wait for the package to be taken away This is “Shrimp Dumpling” Let’s start with the shrimp dumplings. Four “shrimp dumplings”, tightly packed together So united Finally separated The skin is not rotten Although it sticks very firmly The creases are obvious But the number of pleats is not standard The folds are wider You can see the pink color of the filling But “shrimp dumpling skin” I think it’s thicker. Obviously handmade. Very distinctive “shrimp dumpling skin” Eat the shrimp dumplings first Not bad, but not great either Because the skin is thicker The taste is too obvious The shrimp in the filling has a slight “frozen taste” Price: HK$25/piece It’s a very good deal. No big problem Just ordinary level It won’t be bad Because it’s been steaming. But the shrimp dumpling skin is not sticky Just thicker So the modulation ratio The cooking time is well controlled. Full of fillings Pork is added to the filling So it tastes like other meats The pork is seasoned too salty. HKD 25 can be used in Hong Kong Taste this level of “shrimp dumplings” I think it’s great value. So this shop is very popular with locals. And there are two shrimps Juicy The shrimp is thick and the filling is very full. However, a correction is needed Eat a few more and you will find out The pork seasoning is not too salty But the MSG taste is too strong After eating , I felt thirsty. The shrimp dumpling skin is tough. The most praiseworthy thing is the filling is full Regarding prices in Hong Kong It is worthwhile to eat such a plump “shrimp dumpling” for HK$25 No big problem with taste I’ll definitely forgive you for the filling. I want to try the “Four Treasures Chicken” Very cute package It is completely different from the food in the mainland. Because of the corn cob Take a closer look at the “Slippery Chicken” Wrapped in several layers of thin “bean curd skin” Wrapped with rich fillings There are four ingredients in total Chicken wings Corn cob “Fried Pork Skin” and ham The portion is very large A total of two pieces Separate for everyone to see Although they are all stuck together, they are not easy to rot The portion is really big. oh Scattered one Try the flavor Very large dim sum Added chicken wings, not very convenient to eat Because there are bones There is no way to bite it directly Try the tofu skin and chicken wings first The tofu skin has a nice aroma But after steaming, serve It takes some time So, the surface becomes a little dry Eat You need to bite hard to open the bean curd skin Not very good The bacon here I like to add MSG So there is a distinct taste of MSG This kind of chicken wings looks fresh The structure is too complicated I decided to try separately Let me show you the true face of the filling This is luncheon meat. Big lunch meat Good new combination Try the flavor It tastes like luncheon meat Provides meaty flavor to other ingredients And make the ingredients taste like luncheon meat A very novel combination of “slippery chicken” HK$25 for this amount It is a good deal But I don’t know how to evaluate it This is the corn cob Very crisp, with the right aroma This seasoning is very good Don’t steal the spotlight It goes well with the flavor of chicken wings But no matter how high the adaptability is, Because I can’t taste the whole thing. Because at the beginning the two were stuck together. So I missed the “Fried Pork Skin” Try “Fried Pork Skin” now The bottom layer has “sauce” Very thick Strong fishy smell And it tastes bitter I don’t know how to evaluate You will feel that the bean curd skin is Not enough bean flavor Overall very ordinary Just look at the shape and the cleanliness of the cage I think it’s HKD 25 This kind of product is very sincere The price is so low Therefore, the materials used are limited This dessert I think the best is “corn cob” Sweet and crisp It is a breath of fresh air among these complex flavors. Corn cob is delicious And they I don’t know how to appreciate “Duck Feet with Taro” The portion size is also quite large It is like this The outer layer is a thick “bean curd skin” The filling has large pieces of taro Pork and large “duck feet” Let’s eat Try the flavor The two are stuck together. Separate them first The process of separation I don’t want to break them up But it’s too tight. Did not disperse The portion is really big. Take this Dim Sum It’s like this Started eating There is orange-red juice at the bottom Packed tightly You should be able to eat it in one bite. Its taste Let us introduce them to you separately. The outer layer is “bean curd skin” Same as the “Slippery Chicken” No obvious bean flavor Very ordinary But the price of HK$25 Limiting food quality I forgive it Next, let’s talk about the fillings Very rich The first thing I want to praise is taro Very fragrant taro flavor Very pink, very soft Good taste Excellent taste Very natural, I like it There are large chunks of meat in the filling Very large HK$25 I can imagine how big a Dim Sum this is. One piece has two pieces There is such a big “pork slice” in each piece It’s really a good deal But the pork here is The seasoning is too heavy Added a lot of MSG Too obvious so I personally don’t like It may also be that the flavors in Yuen Long, Hong Kong are heavier. I haven’t understood this taste yet I just don’t like it. The duck feet are also very special. The “Duck Feet” is made using the “Tiger Skin Chicken Feet” method. So I haven’t eaten yet. You can smell the flavor of “Tiger Skin Chicken Claw” Very special Braised duck feet until soft But there is a slight “snowy” taste About HK$12.5 per piece The amount of meat in each piece is amazing. The appearance of taro is very ordinary But it’s unexpectedly delicious Very powdery Has a strong taro flavor I saw “Fried Food” said HK$17 “Dine-in with any three items” There are five types of fried food Boss Lady I want fried wontons, spring rolls and taro balls. – Later There are many locals who come to pack Dine-in: HK$17 for three dishes of your choice The least is this one -what would you like Spring rolls, fried wontons and taro balls -good packing , give the order to the waiter Get the receipt after stamping You can go now Take it back yourself Three fried foods for HK$17 I think this amount is a good deal The fried wontons are very big Served with sweet and sour sauce I think this sauce is like Early “Jin Lu Juice” There is also “Wool Sauce” I started with “Wonton” This is a simplified version of “Jinlu Wonton” Dip in sauce Three fried foods for HK$17 Only one of each “My friend” won’t have anything to eat. If it doesn’t taste good, give it to your “friend” Ouch I said the wrong thing and got punished. No wonder it’s so popular This fried wonton is very crispy And the filling is “shrimp paste” “Jinlu sauce” is sour and sweet and very appetizing And it is more diluted The taste won’t be too strong. Too sweet and sour, it will steal the show Now I can taste the filling. Very fresh, with gravy The best is The outer layer is rich and has a very crispy texture Can you see the layers? It is an irregular “fried wonton” Big head And it’s delicious What must be praised is The outer layer is fried very crispy And the oil used is very good Has a strong egg flavor And the smell of very fragrant oil The “shrimp paste” filling has gravy Unfortunately, the seasoning is quite strong Fresh is fresh But it’s the umami taste of MSG I don’t understand In fact, the meat of these raw materials is not very bad But the seasoning is quite strong The “Jinlu Sauce” is very special Not just sweet and sour taste Vinegar is also added to the I think its taste Closer to “Jinlu Wonton” recorded in ancient books The taste should be But I haven’t tried the original version. Next, we will try the taro balls. The boss lady also calls it “taro corner” You know it doesn’t have the “honeycomb” skin So not too crispy But HKD17 has three items About HKD 5/piece Don’t ask for too much Try the flavor Big head Many locals will buy this It should be a good deal. The taro here is very soft and sticky. And it has a strong taro flavor So I like the taro here. But you can tell by the sound The outer layer is not brittle Just a slight crispy taste Not obvious presence The meat filling tastes very rough The seasoning is too heavy MSG taste is too obvious But to praise the taro The taro used in this shop is very good Very powdery Has a strong taro flavor I just want to eat dim sum with taro About HKD 5/piece It is a good deal Next, we will try the spring rolls Very big and heavy This big spring roll is only worth about HK$5. Very crispy outer layer But there are obvious oil stains The taste is oily And the fillings Too ordinary The meat is very rough Seasoning Has a distinct MSG smell So it’s very ordinary HKD 25 This “Five-spiced beef tripe” This is “Southern Fermented Pork Knuckle” The portion size is amazing Very good value for money Especially this “Southern Fermented Pork Knuckle” Large portion Each piece is so big So much meat About four Start with the most cost-effective “Southern Fermented Pork Knuckle” The color is relatively bright Because of the addition of “Southern fermented milk sauce” Very fresh Steaming Looks very attractive Braised very soft The “fermented southern milk flavor” is very obvious There is no “snow-covered taste” No strange taste But the “fermented bean curd flavor” overwhelms the aroma of pork So I’m not sure Does “Pig’s Knuckle” have pork flavor? Just talking about taste It is rich in colloid Very sticky And there is more than just “pig’s trotters” And peanuts “Southern fermented bean curd” and peanuts go very well together The size is more than just a surprise But shocked Braised pork knuckles But you can tell the pig skin and pork Aren’t they all dyed with “Nanru color”? Explain that the sense of technology is not strong This is the largest portion. I think it is the most cost-effective And the pig’s trotter is rich in gelatin Braised until soft enough The taste is very good A lot of fermented bean curd is used for seasoning There is a distinct “fermented southern milk aroma” Also because of the use of “Southern fermented bean curd” seasoning So finally no more MSG was added At least I can’t feel the MSG. I can’t understand, the products of this store are not bad But I like to use MSG for seasoning Causes you to become very thirsty The pig’s trotter is delicious Try Peanuts Peanuts are crispy Peanuts are not good Pork knuckle is a good deal Peanuts smell bad But it’s a good deal HK$25 can buy such a terrible portion I won’t ask for too much It is a good deal This is a nostalgic feeling It is the human touch of an old-style Hong Kong teahouse It is difficult for Hong Kong to pursue services Especially this kind of civilian restaurant The waiter will add water The tea is not hot enough The waiter is willing to help replace a new pot Next we will try Spiced beef tripe Each piece of “tripe” is very large And it’s thick Total 5 pieces There are two carrots Try the tripe first Thickness The “tripe” is very thick and big Smells like cow Now it’s a very obvious taste The “five-spice” flavor was overshadowed The taste is quite good The taste of “tripe” should be Upper elastic teeth Soft and smooth bottom layer There are two different levels of taste The “beef taste” I just mentioned I think it smells like beef may be The tripe is not cleaned properly But such a large portion At this price And it’s the price in Hong Kong, which is very cost-effective Try carrots Braised very soft But there are tendons And it has a strong “beef flavor” Okay, this is a good deal. Very cost-effective I’m full, let’s pay. Take the dim sum menu and go to checkout Check out at the front desk -154 yuan HKD 154, will you charge HKD 500? -Can OK, successfully used HK$500 I saw that many places do not accept large denomination banknotes. – We received it OK -Thanks OK, thanks The total cost of this meal was HK$154. This time we ate at the Oriental Hotel I think it is an “old teahouse” There are many “nostalgic Dim Sums” And the service is very good For example, seeing the diners next to you He thought the tea tasted bad. The waiter quickly replaced the pot with a new one. When adding water Just open the lid of the teapot A waiter will come to refill the water soon. The service was excellent Especially for this small shop It’s rare to have such a service Oriental Hotel’s products There is a fatal problem It is the seasoning for making fillings I don’t understand Why do you like to use MSG? It tastes terrible. Other aspects are good. In summary, that’s it. Okay, this video ends here. Like my video Want to taste authentic Cantonese cuisine Please follow this channel Like and share See you next time~bye Tonight’s “Night Tea” I understand. Why some Hong Kong audiences I will come to Guangzhou to eat at the “prefabricated teahouse” At least the seasoning of the “prefabricated teahouse” is not outrageous This is the Dim Sum that my friend and I had tonight. I drank three pots of tea. I still feel very thirsty when I come back Keep drinking water Drink lots of water

Night tea culture:
Night tea culture is a unique dietary social custom prevalent in Cantonese-speaking regions such as Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau in China.
Night tea is a leisure activity in which people go to teahouses, restaurants, or special night tea restaurants at night (usually after dinner until late at night or even in the early morning) to drink tea while enjoying a variety of snacks, side dishes, porridge, noodles, rice, and other delicacies. It is usually served from around 8 or 8:30 in the evening and lasts until 12 or 1 a.m., or even 2 or 3 a.m. (especially on weekends or holidays). It is part of the typical “nightlife” and “midnight snack” culture.
Night tea can be seen as an extension and evolution of morning tea (drinking morning tea) in time. Morning tea is more inclined to breakfast and morning socializing, while night tea belongs to the category of late night snacks and night entertainment, with a more relaxed atmosphere, later time, and choices that may be more inclined to “appetizers” or more filling food.
The food is rich and varied:
Traditional dim sum: shrimp dumplings, siu mai, barbecued pork buns, lava buns, chicken feet, pork ribs, glutinous rice chicken, rice rolls, etc. (highly overlapped with morning tea dim sum, but served later).
Porridge, noodles and rice: Jidi porridge, boat porridge, preserved egg and lean meat porridge, various fried rice, fried noodles, soup noodles, wonton noodles, etc., providing more filling options.
Roasted meat and stewed food: roast goose, barbecued pork, roasted pork, stewed platter (goose wings, tofu, eggs, etc.).
Desserts: red bean paste, mung bean paste, sesame paste, almond tea, egg tarts, coconut milk cake, etc.
Seasonal features: Dishes with specific ingredients may be introduced in different seasons.
Ordering method:
Traditional cart: In some old-fashioned teahouses, aunties will push carts with steamed and fried dim sum between tables, and customers can directly choose, “take it as you order”.
Dim sum paper/menu: It is more common to give customers a dim sum paper (or QR code ordering), tick the dim sum and side dishes they want on it, and give it to the waiter to place the order. Stir-fried dishes usually need to be read on the menu or ordered verbally.
Steamed/fried on order: Many foods, especially stir-fried dishes and some dim sum, are made after the order is placed, ensuring they are fresh and hot.

Lord… you are so harsh on the dimsums! And you should know how to eat the "GAI JAT", disintegrate it and eat it piece by piece! 😝
I really appreciate your videos bcoz you show the directions to the restaurants
