【紅葉の立山室堂】秋めくアルペンルート、東京日帰りで通り抜け☔️|長野→富山|特急あずさ|黒部ダム
Good morning, everyone! I’ve always wanted to go to the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route. I’m heading to Shinano-Omachi Station on the Azusa Limited Express from Shinjuku Station. I want to see a variety of scenery on this mountain sightseeing route connecting Nagano and Toyama! I wonder if I’ll be able to see the autumn leaves soon ! I’m spending the time on the train reading the manga BLUE GIANT. The main character is so dedicated to one thing, I admire him and think he’s so cool ! I highly recommend this manga, so please give it a read! I arrived at Shinano-Omachi Station! From there, I took a bus to Ogizawa Station. It was cold after I arrived in Nagano Prefecture! (It was early October.) I should have dressed a little warmer… I’d purchased a web ticket for the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route in advance. I showed my ticket when getting on and off the bus. After about 40 minutes of swaying around on the bus, I arrived at Ogizawa Station! Once I arrived, I received my ticket. The ride cost 11,150 yen per adult. I’ll travel along the Alpine Route by changing between various modes! I don’t like the cold… can I bear it? Our final destination is “Dentetsu Toyama Station”. A similar map is also listed on the website. The temperature at “Kurobedaira” is 14°C… we were wearing long-sleeved T-shirts and hoodies. Those going out should make sure to dress warmly! We take the Kanden Tunnel electric bus to “Kurobe Dam”. Even on bad weather, it’s great to be able to travel without getting wet. The “Kanden Tunnel” we are about to pass through took seven years to complete. We arrive at Kurobe Dam in about 15 minutes. We chose the route on the right and climbed 220 steps . At the top, we were greeted by clear air and beautiful views!! The weather forecast three days ago had called for sunny skies… but the day itself was calling for rain. The weather in the mountains is changeable, so let’s cheer ourselves up!! “Kurobe Dam” We headed towards the cable car station, walking over the dam in thick clouds. More than 10 tons of water is released per second, creating a truly impressive force. Kurobe Dam is an arch dam 186m high and 492m long. This yellow object is a “concrete bucket,” apparently an important tool for transporting concrete at the time of construction. You can eat dam curry at the Kurobe Dam Rest House. We came down those stairs…looking back at them, they’re really steep. Looking back at them while editing, the momentum is incredible. It’s almost time to board the cable car, but the water release is so captivating we decided to walk a little quickly! Many tour groups and foreign tourists were visiting. The hotel, located at an altitude of 2,500m, had no vacancies. From “Lake Kurobe,” we took the cable car to “Kurobedaira.” It’s the only underground cable car in Japan with a line that runs entirely underground. We made it on time, safely. The steepest gradient is a steep 31 degrees. Let’s get started! We climbed the steep slope at a fairly high speed. It was a strange feeling watching the cable cars pass each other in the narrow tunnel. I wonder if it’s been in operation since 1969 ? We arrived safely at Kurobedaira! From here, we transferred to the ropeway. Kurobedaira also has a panoramic terrace. If you have time after the transfer, please visit! Unfortunately, we couldn’t go. We were looking forward to seeing what kind of view we could see from the Tateyama Ropeway! It didn’t seem to be raining yet . The magnificent nature. We were a little disappointed that we couldn’t ride by the window. Still, we were able to see the beautiful scenery of the leaves starting to change color. The ropeway ride took about 7 minutes. We arrived at Daikanbo. It started to rain lightly, and we were worried about what was to come. From here, we took the Tateyama Tunnel Electric Bus. There were reports of bear sightings in Tateyama a few days ago. I recommend bringing a bell and bear repellent spray. After arriving, we decided to walk around Mikurigaike Pond in an hour! We hope the rain doesn’t get heavier. We tend to forget about lunch, so we were thinking about eating something, when we spotted some warm-looking pork buns! I had oyaki with bean paste, and my husband had pork buns and a standing soba noodle shop. After filling our stomachs, we went outside and… it was raining. Everyone was using umbrellas and raincoats to protect themselves from the rain . If it had been sunny, we might have been able to enjoy the scenery even more. This was my first time at Mt. Tateyama, so I decided to enjoy it to the very end! “Hotel Tateyama” Let’s go around Mikurigaike Pond! It feels like the rain is getting stronger… We arrived at “Mikurigaike Pond”! A volcanic lake with a circumference of 630m, formed when water accumulated in the remains of a crater about 10,000 years ago. The blue lake surface is reflected in the 15m depth of the water. What a wonderful place. The rain and wind are getting stronger. This kind of trip is also great, and will become a good memory. The path is difficult to walk on, so be careful not to slip. “Hell Valley” was off-limits due to the high concentration of volcanic gases. The mountains are colored by clothes of various colors. It’s a sight you don’t see very often. It was in the rain that I was able to enjoy the various nature. I’m not used to taking poses, so please don’t ask for too much. (To my husband) Looking back at the video, it’s funny. I have to be careful not to catch a cold. I got on the highland bus and headed down the mountain. It would be a good idea to bring a backpack cover. I realized after arriving at the hotel that my backpack was flooded. There were a lot of people, including tour groups, and I wanted to get on. We couldn’t get on the scheduled flight , so we had to take a special bus. Our tickets got all wrinkled from the rain. We weren’t prepared for the rain , but we still managed to enjoy the Alpine Route. I’ll share my honest experience and hope it helps you on your trip. You can also enjoy the beautiful scenery from the window when descending the mountain. We arrived at Bijodaira , where we changed onto the cable car. There was also a special flight from Bijodaira. A day traveling from Nagano to Toyama. There is also a route from Toyama to Nagano, so choose the one that is easiest for you. We took the train to Dentetsu Toyama Station. It was cold and weary… please dress warmly (early October). Thank you for watching. I hope you’ll also take some photos from Toyama.
