太夸张了!不愧说九寨归来不看水,中国最宽的瀑布、最艳丽的海子、最神奇的山谷…这有太多中国之最,阿树被惊艳到语无伦次!
Jiuzhaigou, the Gods’ Backyard, is a place you might have visited , but you’ve probably never seen it from above. Eight years after the devastating earthquake in 2017 , is Jiuzhaigou continuing to devastate, or is it emerging from its cocoon and reborn? Is it really not as good as before? This is the second part of Ashu’s trip to Jiuzhaigou. Everyone and I looked down from the air at the paradise on earth eight years ago, witnessing a miraculous rebirth of nature. Before our eyes is Jiuzhaigou’s Wuhua Lake, known as one of the ten most beautiful lakes in the world. Near Wuhua Lake, we can see islands of wood sunken at the bottom of the lake that haven’t rotted.
This is because the oxygen concentration and temperature at the bottom of the water are low, which is not suitable for the growth of a large number of microorganisms. In addition, the calcification on the surface of the fallen trees at the bottom of the water isolates them. Therefore, even if there are a few microorganisms, it is not easy to erode the fallen trees and cause them to rot. It can be said that the beauty of Jiuzhaigou is inseparable from calcification. Without calcification, there would be no colorful Jiuzhaigou today. If you want to know more about calcification, you can watch the previous part. The previous part has a detailed introduction to Jiuzhaigou. I first learned about these three words probably from the geography textbook in middle school. At first, I thought it was the name of a small river. Later, I learned that Jiuzhai in Aba Prefecture got its name from the nine Tibetan villages scattered in the valley. Zhaigou means a long and narrow valley. These nine villages have lived between the lakes for generations, hence the name Jiuzhaigou. They include Shuzheng Village, Heye Village , and Zhecha Village. These nine villages are distributed along the mountains and rivers in the valley . There are three Y-shaped main valleys, namely Shuzheng Valley , Rizhe Valley and Zhawa Valley, with a total length of about 60 kilometers. These three main valleys constitute the main scenic spot distribution belt of Jiuzhaigou today. In between are villages, lakes, calcified beaches, etc., forming a pattern of valleys in the mountains, villages in the valleys , and seas in the villages . Jiuzhaigou in Aba Prefecture is not only a natural landscape , but also an extension of Tibetan culture. Most of the residents are Jiarong Tibetans, who will not be introduced in detail here . Jiarong Tibetans believe in Tibetan Buddhism. They call Jiuzhaigou. The Back Garden of Gods believes that lakes are the tears of gods. In the last film, we visited the three main valleys mentioned above, Rize Valley and Zechawa Valley. Today, we will visit the last valley of Jiuzhaigou, Shuzheng Valley . The Five Flower Lake in front of us and the largest lake in Jiuzhaigou, Changhai, introduced in the last episode, are both glacial barrier lakes. The so-called glacial barrier lake refers to a lake formed by glaciers blocking a river valley or valley. The altitude of the Five Flower Lake is 2,462 meters , 450 meters long, 313 meters wide and 9 meters deep. The Five Flower Lake is the essence of Jiuzhaigou and is known as the world’s top ten lakes. Wuhua Lake , one of the most beautiful lakes in the world, is the most colorful lake in Jiuzhaigou . The calcification, algae, water plants, and dead trees on the lake bottom reflect and refract the light differently. Together with the reflections of the blue sky, white clouds, green grass, and emerald forest in the lake , they create a mixture of light yellow, emerald green , dark green, sky blue, dark blue, and navy blue. The lake water looks like a giant ornament inlaid with countless gems. From a high altitude , it looks like a peacock spreading its feathers, as if it is God’s palette. The calcification on the lake bottom has become that blue and white lake bottom, just like the sea. The corals on the bottom of the mountain felt the earthquake . The landslide near the Reed Sea caused by the earthquake . The limestone in Jiuzhaigou is porous and fragile, easily affected by external factors , leading to landslides. I experienced my first earthquake in Jiuzhaigou. Friends who have watched the previous video know that I stayed in a youth hostel near the scenic area. This morning at about 5 o’clock, I felt the bed in the youth hostel shaking and heard the tourists in the next bed getting up and going out. At first, I thought the shaking was because the beds in the youth hostel were connected, so the shaking I just felt was because my roommate in the next bed got up. As a result, I slept in a daze for about an hour. The tourist in the next bed came back from outside and exchanged a few words. He said, “Did you feel the earthquake just now?” He showed me the news report on his mobile phone. There was an earthquake of magnitude 4. Later, in the scenic area , I heard the Tibetan tour guide on the road say in a nonchalant tone that there was an earthquake last night. It sounded like the residents of Jiuzhaigou were no strangers to earthquakes. This made me think of Jiuzhaigou. It is located at the junction of the eastern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and the Sichuan Basin, which is also one of the most active tectonic zones on the earth. Because the Qinghai -Tibet Plateau is continuously squeezed by the Indian Plate and the Eurasian Plate, I later checked some information and learned that Jiuzhaigou is located in the northern section of the Songpan-Ganzi seismic belt, which is one of the areas with the most frequent seismic activity in China. After the last episode was broadcast, some viewers left a message saying (a major earthquake occurred in Jiuzhaigou in August 2017). Jiuzhaigou was not as beautiful as before after the earthquake. I also heard such a statement on the Internet . I have never seen Jiuzhaigou before the earthquake, and it is hard to imagine how amazing the beauty of Jiuzhaigou was at that time . The information I’ve looked up says that the earthquake wasn’t so much a destruction of Jiuzhaigou as it was an ecological restoration. Although a large amount of water leaked out after the earthquake, forming a new river channel and the original mirror-like lake surface disappeared , some of the lakes were refilled through natural replenishment a few years after the earthquake. Before the earthquake, Jiuzhaigou was famous as a paradise on earth with flowers in the water. Those azure lakes, cascading waterfalls, and calcified steps were almost surreal . Although the earthquake disrupted this dreamlike order , it also brought back a sense of the original ecological coarseness. Perhaps the actual situation was not as optimistic as the information describes. Viewers who visited Jiuzhaigou before the earthquake are welcome to leave a message to tell me what the beauty of Jiuzhaigou was like before the earthquake. Please hurry, everyone. The scenic area closes at 6 p.m. There are still many attractions below. There are still many oxygen cylinders. You see, we have only visited half of the attractions. Five Flower Lake, followed by Pearl Beach Waterfall, Mirror Beach, Lover Beach , Rhino Beach, Tree Waterfall, Sparkling Beach , Reed Beach , Bonsai Beach , and we are about to reach Pearl Beach and the painted-faced red panda. Let’s first look at the Pearl Beach Waterfall. Wow , my goodness ! It really looks like pearls! The water droplets are snow-white. Look at this waterfall. It’s very wide. This side is all wow, it’s really beautiful. If you walk two or three hundred meters, you’ll see a slowly flowing waterfall like this. Pearl Beach is surrounded by towering mountains. Look at the red leaves and red fruits. Look at the trees between green and yellow. In another 10 days, they will turn golden. By then, this mountain forest will have another style. In the golden autumn of October, the green riverbed is especially green. The wooden trestle spans the water for about 200 meters. These 200 meters are just like this surging stream. Minjiang fir . The tree trunk is so thick that it takes two people to surround it. Wow, this waterfall is quite large. The wooden trestle bridge below looks so small. This place has both the majestic grandeur and the deep beauty. The river valley is quite deep. It basically cuts straight 90 degrees here. I went to take a look below. Wow, it’s spectacular. The water vapor here is floating down like a light rain. You see, it suddenly becomes a steep cliff here . It was a small gentle slope before, but it collapses here and is cut into a steep cliff of nearly 90 degrees . The Pearl Beach Waterfall in Jiuzhaigou is about 2,430 meters above sea level. It is a natural waterfall formed by glacial deposits and calcification. The water here pours down from the calcified beach. Cascading layers of water splash, sparkling like pearls in the sun, hence the name “Pearl Beach Waterfall”. The waterfall is about 270 meters wide and 21 meters high, with the highest drop reaching 40 meters. It is one of the most spectacular cascade waterfalls in Jiuzhaigou. Its formation is due to the accumulation of moraine and the deposition of calcium carbonate. The continuous calcification and thickening of the beach makes the water flow form multi-level drops at different heights. Algae and moss grow vigorously on the platform. The joint action of organisms and minerals creates a unique “biokarst” landscape. During the flood season, the entire beach is like a silver thread pouring down, with a sound like thunder, majestic and imposing. In autumn and winter, the calcification texture is clearly visible , showing another kind of quiet beauty. Wow, the water floats over like a light rain . Look at it, its height should be close to 15-20 meters. It is so high , it is really unique and ingenious. The plank road is also well built, so you can appreciate the waterfall from all angles. A basically square plank road is built around the waterfall. Haha, very impressive It’s worthy of being called Jiuzhaigou! There are all kinds of water here. You can see lakes, waterfalls , and streams. The water is snow-white when it hangs on the cliff, but it turns into turquoise blue and green when it falls into the water . It’s like rain in this place. Today is really a day to experience the most beautiful lakes and mountains in the motherland. There are scenery everywhere. I was impressed by this waterfall plank road. You can see different scenery from every angle . It is very important to build this plank road in Jiuzhaigou because the calcified layer is Jiuzhaigou’s treasure resource. Walking on the plank road avoids stepping on the beach and protects the precious calcified ecosystem. This is the small river that flows out of the waterfall . It is quite deep and surrounded by tall trees. There is a bridge across the river. Go to Jinghai to pick up the bus. Jinghai is the next tourist spot. Recharge your energy after walking down. The next attraction is Jinghai, which is one kilometer away. Look at this wooden bridge and look at the towering mountains in the distance , shrouded in clouds and mist (2025 September (End of the month) It was getting dark at 4:20 pm. I like watching Ashu’s videos, so please like and subscribe to support. Wow, I was the only one on this bus getting off. Because lakes or waterfalls are usually on the left side of the vehicle , you basically have to go through a tunnel every time you get off the bus. Jinghai. Jinghai is 2,367 meters above sea level, 1,155 meters long, 241 meters wide, and 31 meters deep. It is quite deep . It is the third largest lake in Jiuzhaigou. So, which is the largest lake in Jiuzhaigou ? Do you remember which is the largest lake ? It is Changhai in the previous episode. The second largest is Wuhuahai that we visited earlier. The two aforementioned lakes are typical glacial barrier lakes formed by the sediments left behind after the glacier retreat blocked the river valley or valley. Jinghai is different. It is a calcified barrier lake, that is, a lake formed by calcified sediments blocking the river channel . It is named Jinghu because the lake surface is as calm as a mirror and clear enough to reflect the distant mountains, forests, and blue sky. In autumn, this place can be said to be one of the favorite shooting spots for photographers. The reflection of the colorful forest by the lake is as dreamy as an oil painting. It gets dark quite early at the end of September. It’s already a little dark before 5 o’clock. In front of us is the Nuorilang Waterfall. Let’s quickly finish visiting the most important attractions today . This is the third main ditch we visited today, Shuzhenggou. It may be too late to visit many attractions in Shuzhenggou today. It doesn’t matter, we will come again later. This waterfall has a greater vertical drop than the Pearl Beach Waterfall just now. There is a lake above the Nuorilang Waterfall . You can see how wide it is, and the drop is also quite high. It is 2,343 meters above sea level, 24.5 meters high, and 320 meters wide. It is the widest alpine calcified waterfall in China. The surging water flows from the Nuorilang Group of Seas. It is a whole giant mountain cross-section with a large vertical drop. The viewing platform is some distance away from it. If you are closer, it will be more shocking. We can see that the Nuorilang Waterfall is a sudden vertical cliff face. How was it formed? The official introduction is this: 210,000 years ago, the north and south mountains of Nuorilang A large amount of debris and other materials that collapsed and slid down were rapidly superimposed. In simple terms , the mountain collapsed and the debris was deposited in the river channel , thus forming a vertical cliff face, and thus the waterfall was born. Oh, it rained in the evening. China’s widest waterfall, Norilang Waterfall, was frozen with a deep blue and crystal clear water. This phenomenon is also called blue ice. I will take another look at Norilang Waterfall in winter. The four seasons are different. In summer, it is full of vitality, while in spring , it feels a bit like the dry season. In winter, it is frozen . I have to say, this waterfall doesn’t look very good at first glance , but if you look closely, it is really shocking. At first, I saw that Norilang Waterfall is known as the Forest Waterfall, but I didn’t quite understand it until I flew the aerial camera and saw the water pouring out from the bushes. The trees and the waterfall are both independent and integrated. There is a waterfall in the trees and trees in the waterfall. From a distance Like a loom, it perpetually weaving its own white silk, the image is truly beautiful. Noilong Waterfall is China’s widest waterfall. No wonder it looks so stunning from an aerial view. Close the door, pay attention. Close the door, pay attention. Around 5 o’clock, the second scenic spot in Shuzhenggou is called Rhino Lake. It’s raining a little, and many people are squatting here. This is Rhino Lake. Even in the rain, there ‘s a unique flavor. Yunnan Lake is 2,301 meters above sea level, 2 kilometers long , 225 meters wide, and 17 meters deep. It is the second largest lake in Jiuzhaigou. The largest lake is Changhai. It’s said that a seriously ill monk rode a rhino to this place and drank from the holy spring by the lake, which cured him of his illness. Hmm. In spring and autumn, everything is lush green, and in autumn, the golden reflections in the water are even more realistic. Hey, I memorized them after reading them once. The buses in these scenic areas all have lights on. It’s light, ha. I found that the degree of blue is different for each child, and the texture of the blue is also different. For example, this blue is very clear and spotless. There are a lot of dead trees and some solar power generation. You see, the park is almost closing at 6 o’clock, and there are fewer people here. Today, I can almost visit all the attractions in Jiuzhaigou in one go. If you like watching Ah Shu’s videos, please like and subscribe to support this. The bus arrived at the next attraction in Shuzhenggou in one minute . Is Tiger Lake because its shape resembles a tiger? It rained a little, and it has
the beauty of the misty Jiangnan. The later it gets, the darker the sky is, and the degree of blue changes towards deep blue and dark blue. At least that’s how it looks in the camera. Tiger Lake is just a lake, not as big as a football field. In fact, I think it should be seen from Shushenggou all the way up. It seems that the excitement of your scenic spot increases step by step. The distance to the next lake should not be far away. Let’s walk along these wooden plank roads to experience Jiuzhaigou in early autumn. There are also large and small lakes hidden in the bushes here. If we use aerial photography, the green and blue pond inside is like a sapphire with a green border . Because of the green background, it looks even more elegant. The deep blue Shuzhen Waterfall is 2,295 meters above sea level, 11 meters high and 62 meters wide. I walked forward to go to work. It rained a little, but I’m not afraid. I just finished dinner. Yes, yes, good , it’s so deep. The staff of the scenic area kept urging us to hurry up. The last bus will arrive at 6 o’clock. If you miss the last bus, it will be inconvenient . You have to wait for half an hour for the shuttle bus. The car went down ten steps all the way, so the waterfall was also rolling down like us . The prayer wheel is a way for the local Tibetan people to practice and spread Buddhism. This warrior’s wooden house is the traditional wisdom of Shuzhen Mofang. Tibetan residents use it to close the door . We arrived late. It’s quite tiring to climb so many steps on the plateau . Oh, I’m gasping for breath. We returned to the tourist service center at exactly 6 o’clock. Today was really a day of ups and downs. My heart felt like a roller coaster, haha. This time we didn’t take pictures of Jiuzhaigou in autumn. Autumn will be about ten days later. Let’s take a look at Jiuzhaigou in autumn and Jiuzhaigou in winter. The one I want to visit most is Jiuzhaigou in winter . You see, I also took an aerial photo of this scene, but it’s not covered with snow. Look, this waterfall is covered with ice. You know, there are so many attractions. The only thing missing from the three valleys is the Reed Sea and Hongjingtan in Shuzheng Valley . I saw on the bus that they provide luggage storage here. Large suitcases can be stored for 15 yuan a day. If you have small luggage , it ‘s 5 yuan a day. Scan the code to pick it up . Is is really wood, the cedar and pine trees in Jiuzhaigou. Uh, I changed to a standard room. It’s more comfortable than the one I stayed in last night. I slept well. It has air conditioning and everything, including a bathroom and toilet. You see, it’s near the scenic area. I booked such a nice room for 85 yuan. I think it’s quite good. The town in front of the scenic area wants tomatoes and mushrooms. I just took a taxi and asked the driver which restaurant here is more authentic for yak beef soup hotpot . He recommended this one. Later, I felt that this restaurant is also ranked on this food review website. It should be a relatively good yak hotpot restaurant in this area . Who comes to experience it? They have mushrooms and tomatoes , but the tomatoes are the best-selling. I passed by many restaurants along the way. Their family, so the yak business is very good. Oh my God, this pot is so big! How can I finish it ? There is so much yak beef. I worked very hard today, so I rewarded myself. And this is noodles and lettuce. This is fermented bean curd , right? This is fermented bean curd chicken essence, this is Sichuan pepper powder , and that is sesame oil. Oh, it’s so hot, and it’s such a big pot with so many ingredients in it. There’s quite a lot of yak meat in this big pot, as well as radish , tomato , and corn. Look at this, there are yak bones , green onions , and some lettuce. Wow, how can we finish so much? This yak meat is very delicious and fresh. It’s not pickled . This meat tastes very fresh , and the seasoning is so good . It ‘s so delicious. It ‘s so delicious. It’s so delicious to eat meat with big mouthfuls , and it’s yak meat. It’s really delicious. When I was studying in the north, I sometimes ate noodles with this from the front. Sure enough , this tomato soup pot is not bad , with some radish and a lot of meat. It’s really good. I like to watch Ashu’s videos, like, subscribe and support. The most important thing is that we use real ingredients. Our family is Hui , we have faith , and our dishes are of high quality. They are very clean. We don’t let tourists touch them randomly, so we have a very good reputation locally . It doesn’t look very good, haha. It does look good. The ingredients we use are very solid. Our relatives have a pasture where they raise yaks. We get the meat at the source, so it ‘s cheaper. I didn’t eat any of this. I was full just from the yak beef. The portion of beef was really huge. I was so full that I finished it all, and there was still some lettuce , radish, and tomato left. This is the fullest I’ve ever eaten. I haven’t eaten this for a few months, so I won’t waste it. It can be reused this way . As long as I’m basically the only one left in the end, this place is really good. Tomato and yak beef soup pot. There are many restaurants here, serving Sichuan cuisine, yak hot pot, etc. Look, the water is so turbulent. The above is the entire content of this episode. I’m glad you’ve made it this far. Congratulations on traveling to another World Natural Heritage Site in China. In the next episode, we will visit the Huanglong Scenic Area. If you like to watch China’s natural scenery, then don’t miss the next episode. Thank you for watching. I’m Ashu Atlas. See you next time.

Hi Asu.its beautiful waterfall .😊
how long is this video? it doesn't look cold or is autumn from this video.
Outstanding ❤
謝謝你把這麼好的旅途分享給我們。
航拍很美,讚。👍👏
Lovely scenery with a lot of colourful waterfall Thank you Ah Su for the sharing …. 👍👍👍♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
