細野地区与野集落にひっそりと佇む神社。京都市登録有形文化財。 鳥居の前にそびえ立つ2本の杉の大木は神々しさを漂わせています。 近年ではタクシー会社のパワースポット巡りにも組み込まれています。 創建年代は不明ですが、平安時代4年に正一位を叙せられました。 現在の社殿は平安時代7年に建立されたもので、保守的な様式の建物が多い京北エリアでは珍しく、構造や装飾は派手で精巧です。
