岡山駅から後楽園まで歩く – 日本を探検する
All right. What’s up everybody? Welcome back to the perfect walk. My name is Clint and today we are in Okyama. We just left the station and we are going on a nice little walk to another fantastic Japanese garden. Another one of the heavy hitters. One of the best Japanese gardens in the world. So, we’ll walk through this shopping street and then continue on through some surface streets. Uh, this walk today will be on the way to the garden. Next walk will be the garden itself. If you’re new to the channel, welcome. On the Perfect Walk, we feature walks from all over the world, 30 minutes at a time, new episode every single week. Looks like something’s going on up here. Some kind of giveaway. Super Hollywood. Uh, some kind of anime thing. Must be a lottery for some new figure. Looks like it’s time. They’re going to be giving it away. Whatever it is, Super Hollywood. No clue. Looks like everybody wants one though. Whatever it is. Excuse me. took a train over from Takayyama. Takayyama Takamatsu. Took a train here this morning. And I’ll be spending the morning exploring this beautiful city before moving on to another city and continuing my path across Japan. Looks like the shopping street ends up here and then we’ll hang a right towards what I saw earlier was kind of a main street with street cars and everything. Still most things closed. It is 8:51 a.m. All right, this is said main street up here. I think I figured out my gimbal balance issue that’s been plaguing me this whole time. So, sorry about that. If you watched some of the earlier videos and saw me constantly adjusting the horizon on the gimbal momentro [Music] jeans. That’s a a locally important legend. Peach boy murro. Ping pong. Ping pong. Oh, here’s a map. So, let’s go check out this map. And there’s the street car. you are here. If we keep going straight down this road, we’ll get to Ishiyama Park. We want to go to Koraka Cororakun Corun Garden. That one. Here’s the entrance, though. So, once we get to the park, we hang a left until we get to the larger of the bridges. So, that’s the mission. Straight down this road till we get to the park. Hang a left. bigger of the B the Shen bridge which means new the newer bridge is where we’re headed. Until then, let’s enjoy Okyama. This is pretty. Look at this. Uh, and we’re going to come back to this. So, this is the canal walk. We want to come back to this. Maybe that’ll be the next video after. It’s a bagel sandwich place. What do we have? Egg salad, tuna, butter, strawberry, and Earl Gray. That sounds interesting. Smoked ham and mozzarella. Nope. I was looking for an egg and cheese bagel. No dice. And if I want egg salad, I might as well just head up to 7-Eleven. It’s going to be another beautiful day here in Japan. I’ve had for the most part really good weather on this trip. A couple of rainy days at the very start and I’m here for 2 weeks, so I’m sure I’ll get a little bit more rain at some point. local bus. But we don’t need no we don’t need no stinking bus. We got feet. E Kazaru. Oh, I should also provide the context that today is Sunday. So, you are going to see downtown feel maybe a little bit different. Less people working, more people with the day off, less formal clothing, and hopefully lots of people enjoying the garden when we get there. The garden opened at 7:30, so about 90 minutes ago. I’m excited to see this one. Looks like all of the street cars have a different paint job. And this one is definitely my favorite. This one’s playing music, too. Chugington. I didn’t know Chuggington was from Japan. Learn something new every day. Heat. Heat. [Music] Yeah. Just about time. Bing bong. Let’s go. [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. Looks like you walk on the right in this city. Even though this guy’s not, but I think he was just giving me wide birth. All right. Hopefully we’ll be coming up on the park here in just a few and hanging our left. Got about 15 minutes left on the walk today. Our next destination in a couple of videos is going to be Isumi. If you want to read ahead, I Z U M [Music] I about 1 kilometer away. That sign said we can deal with that. and cute puppy dog. I love the backpack. Look like maybe a shopping area over there. Symphony building and a pretty building it is. All right. How do I cross this street? Do we go under to cross the street? I think so. Not immediately obvious, but this is the way. Bike parking. No bikes this direction. Pedestrians only. I wonder why. Like this or a crosswalk. Must be about traffic engineering. Oh, I stand corrected. Must be about a plaza and a place to hang out under the street. I stand corrected as the backpack said. Effing awesome. All right, we are here. We can go this way, but I think we’ll walk to the park as planned so we can see the bridge. This one says the little bridge is fine. park straight ahead. Uh, and it just dropped about 5° as we’re getting close to the river. Also, shade trees. Pardon me. I do have some allergy situations. All right. My hope is that we can walk along the river to the bridge. Even though that last sign recommended that we don’t. How peaceful is this? Gorgeous. Umi walk. That’s what we want to do is walk. What about that? A mother and child statue and fountain. But fountain is turned off. Ah, we have swan boats across the river. All right. So, there is the castle. It’s a little cafe by the river. Looks like a boat tour. And there’s the two bridges. So, we absolutely are in the right place. And it’s gorgeous. So, let’s walk. It is of course what we do best. Thanks for joining. This is a beautiful morning walk. Almost exactly a half an hour to get to the garden, which is a fantastic bit of luck for all of us. Thank you. If I counted correctly on Google Maps, there’s like five rivers that all meet into the the bay or harbor here at Okyama. Like it’s like a fan. Very, very pretty. [Applause] [Applause] ah running a good walk spoiled. I know that’s supposed to be golf. [Applause] I like the older bridge. much more than the newer bridge. [Applause] I do think we can safely say that we picked an excellent day to visit the garden. [Music] Time to leaf blow the temple. [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] We’ll take this walk all the way across the river to the entrance. Very slowm moving lazy river. Cute little cafe right there. Cafe cafe moan. And a really pretty just kind of walk over there. We may check that out in a little bit. Nice wide pedestrian section to the bridge here. See how easy it is to find the entrance to the garden. Should be very well marked. This is uh to hype it up a little bit, famously one of the three great gardens of Japan. I erroneously said that the last garden we went to was one of the three. Great. It uh didn’t quite make the list. Is number four. You don’t have to walk backwards, lady. I can pick up on a hint. Boggles the mind. All right, we are here at the garden. I’m going to figure out how to get in and when next we see each other, we’ll be exploring another beautiful Japanese garden. Let’s do it, everyone. I’ll see you then. Thank you for the love and support as always. Bye for now.

These walks in Japan are exciting😎Thank you for sharing this enjoyable and rekaxing walk Wander🙂👍!!!
A nice quiet Sunday walk, enjoyed on a Friday. A rather interesting twist, eh? I kind of wish we could have extended the walk to include exploring the gardens…they are always so beautiful and relaxing as well. As we have joined you on these walks, I've taken note of the many bicyclists and am rather pleased to note that not even one of them has been riding one of those darned electric bikes. An Ebke takes the real fun and benefit out of the bike ride…I think. Thank you for another enjoyable walk. 😃
Oh no 😢 What if that store was having a Labubu giveaway? 😢 I have all my kid's college fund invested in Labubus. 😂😂😂😂
