歴史的中島閘門と富岩運河環水公園の絶景！青空と曼殊沙華の空撮
Today we are heading to the Nakajima Lock in Toyama City.
Please enjoy this historic water gate. We have arrived at Nakajima Lock Park, where beautiful cluster amaryllis bloom.
The red carpet-like scenery is breathtaking. This lock control room is open to the public.
Let’s take a look inside. The information panel explains the lock system.
It adjusts the water level to let ships pass safely.
Nakajima Lock is also designated as an Important Cultural Property. Close-up of the central control panel.
It reflects early Showa-era engineering, with large simple buttons
and a nameplate of “Shibaura Works.” Close-up of the north (downstream) lock.
Its solid structure still works today. This panel explains the Fugan Canal.
Built in the early Showa era for transporting goods,
it supported Toyama’s economy. Here again is the Nakajima Lock.
It controls water levels and connects upstream and downstream. From here, aerial shots from the upstream (south side).
The drone ascends from the southern sky, revealing the lock. A full overhead shot.
The perspective moves northward, capturing the entire lock. Overhead shot of the downstream (north side) lock. Now pulling back from upstream to downstream.
The roof of the control room looks charming from above. Even this small lock still supports water transportation today. The upstream lock lies directly below. Capturing the canal facing upstream (south).
A calm water surface stretches out. Perhaps it’s beautyberry.
Clusters of grape-like small fruits cover the branches. The sky is beautifully clear today, enhancing the scenery. We arrived at Kansui Park upstream of the Fugan Canal.
A cute little sightseeing boat sets out. This park also has the Starbucks once called “the most beautiful in the world.”
It’s a popular tourist spot. We happened upon a wedding.
