This is what swimming in the 57th-floor pool at the world-famous Marina Base Sense Hotel in Singapore feels like. I’m walking around the world’s highest, largest infinity pool right now. Do you know how many thousand dollars this is? This room is going to drive me crazy right now. Wait a minute. I shouldn’t be this lucky. There’s something weird about this. What is this? Everything is prohibited. If you smoke, you pay $1,000, and if you eat or drink, you pay $500. It’s unbelievable. And they put on this music. Show your kids this episode. How can a society have clean streets? People in this country earn about $100,000 per person. Because this is where cars are the most expensive in the world. You won’t see any garbage on the screen except for leaves. I hope you’re seeing it well. The living are very, very nice. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to a hotel in Singapore where we’re going crazy. Welcome to a hotel in Singapore where we’re going crazy, ladies and gentlemen. I’m Deniz Pehlivan. Welcome to the Singapore leg of my world tour. How are you? I’m so well, I’m making a great introduction so my energy can flow to you. So that you can enjoy an episode in front of your screens. I’ve given you the energy now. Welcome to Singapore, a place I’ve been to many times during my world tour. I’ve told you how I got here in previous episodes , but I said I wouldn’t delve too deeply into Singapore. As you might have seen in the intro this time, my goal here is to build the world’s most expensive hotel . I said I wanted to stay at Marine Base Sens. I bought myself a birthday gift, and it’s become a bit of a dream for me in one of the world’s richest countries . I promised myself I’d come and stay at this hotel one day. I told you I wanted to share this journey, this experience, this birthday gift I gave myself , and I wanted to share this experience with you. And today is here. And that’s when I’m going to go to that hotel. I’ll tell you about this experience . They say life isn’t about the moments you breathe, but the moments that take your breath away . Those were always the most precious moments for me. I realized that. So, I decided to try something like this. I’ll stay one night. I’ll pay approximately $700 for it, and I won’t just show you Singapore, swimming in the world’s largest infinity pool on the 54th floor . As always, I’ll tour this land of prohibitions, this world’s richest country, and how it’s managed to do so over the last 50 years, wandering from park to park . I won’t go into too much detail. Again, I’ll leave the details to the explaining. I’ve previously made a whole episode about Singapore. I’ll put them in a playlist. You can check it out there. I have some great travel guides. Watch my videos where I explain everything you need to know about Chinatown, Indian Quarter, Malay culture, the economy, and more. So, where to stay in the city center, what are the best hotels? I’ll leave that up to you. You can find out from there. So, as you can see, today we’ll be touring Singapore together, and I hope to share this world-famous hotel experience with you. If you have tea and sunflower seeds ready in front of your screens, you’re watching me at breakfast, no matter what time of day you watch. Bon appetit! May I experience this wonderful and exciting trip to Singapore. What can I say? I’m so energized I can’t even begin to form sentences with joy. Ladies and gentlemen, enjoy watching. May I have a wonderful trip to Singapore. Here we go. Our trip begins with the support of Aura Sebilon water purifiers. This is a tiny country with a population of 6 million. Do you know how big it is? It’s about one-thousandth of Turkey and one-fifteenth of Izmir . And this tiny country has an annual gross domestic product of $800 billion . That’s almost as much as Turkey’s economy. In other words, people in this country earn approximately $100,000-$1,000 per person . The world’s largest and busiest shipping ports are here. The world’s best software finance centers are here. The world’s best universities are also here. Here. Oh, what a coincidence, isn’t it? One of the world’s top 500 universities, and one of the world’s private business schools, emerged from here, and they’ve achieved all of this in the last 50 years. This is such a country of great greats. Look, this small country has one of the world’s top 10 airports. I showed you Singapore Changi Airport here in the previous episode. So, this tiny country has achieved great success, and they’ve done it in the last 50 years. I’ve explained this before. Do you know what they’re best at protecting while doing this? I’ll show you in a minute. Order. 40% of the country is greenery. So, they haven’t destroyed the greenery of a land with such a small area. Why am I telling you this? I’m in the city center. Parks and gardens are everywhere. I’m unnerved. Then, when you do a little research, you realize that their goal when they founded this country is different from Malaysia. This place was first to establish order. And they broke the order with infrastructure. After establishing the infrastructure, perhaps even many places in the west didn’t have such beautiful parks in terms of urbanization back then. Then they build on it , and today , it’s considered one of the world’s best cities, in fact, the world’s best city-state. It’s a country. We can call it a country because it’s recognized by the United Nations. And today, an incredible number of tourists come to this country all year round . But do you know what the biggest draw is? It’s a land of expats . One in every five people you see on the street is an expat. Expats are constantly coming to this country of 6 million. Because there’s constant trade, they come for work. They even live here. That’s why I wanted to touch on this at the outset. And almost none of the people you see around you are alike. Because you see Chinese, Malays, Hindus, and Westerners everywhere. But the demographics that form the roots of this country actually make up 84% of the Chinese, around 10% Malays, the rest Hindus, and other nations. In fact, they’ve achieved all of this despite being a region ruled by Britain for 200 years over the last 50 years. They have a leader in particular, whom I’ll talk about later. Some of his ideologies have details I envy, especially in terms of education and science. Can’t you understand Singapore without delving into that? Of course, you can’t go to the hotel whenever you want, but there’s this ridiculous thing : What do they charge for checks at T3? So I have more time. I ‘m exploring the city a bit. I want to see the parts I haven’t been able to visit. I’d booked a hotel in a more central location. I thought I’d take a walk from my hotel. I was greeted by such a beautiful setting. Let’s go. Look at this beauty! It’s truly spotless, sparkling clean. I definitely recommend visiting Singapore at least once in your life, and even have your children watch this episode. I’ll emphasize cleanliness once again in this country. In other words, in Turkey, especially in Fethye, we’re so tired of seeing and collecting garbage that people are so careless they throw their cigarettes out their windows with peace of mind , even with their children around. We need this education and awareness . That’s why, in this video, I want you to show me how a country, a nation, a society can have clean streets as clean as they want, and I want you to share it with your children. Just to set an example. Now, let’s go underground. Indeed, this much of this city is underground. Because, as I said, the first thing they did was establish the city’s underground system. Infrastructure. For example, I’m at the Singapore Management University bus stop right now . Random. Can an underpass smell so clean, like perfume ? As you know, many countries in South Asia have very poor infrastructure. Because their infrastructure is very poor. Thailand is the best example. But this place is spotless . I was amazed once again. I came back and was amazed again. Look, for example, they’ve put a chess set in the middle of the subway so kids can play if they get bored. There’s air conditioning in the underpass right now, folks. It’s freezing in here. The fine for carrying flammable groceries is 5,000 Singapore dollars. If you smoke, it’s 1,000 dollars. If you eat or drink, you pay 500 dollars. Thank God, breathing isn’t forbidden. I will tell you why they banned this in the coming minutes. Because it’s not banned for nothing. There’s a reason for it. Let’s see. This country has one of the best metro networks in the world. You see, the entire country is actually an island. We’re separate from the mainland. That’s Malaysia. And that whole area around it is the Malaysian border. That yellow color connects all the metro networks, representing one metro network per color, just like everywhere else. And technically, there aren’t any neighborhoods you can’t access when you switch from one metro to another. In other words, it connects all the neighborhoods in the country with a metro network. Why do I say this? Because this is the most expensive place in the world to drive a car. But the car itself isn’t expensive. Car taxes are expensive. If you’re very wealthy here, you can buy a car, or your job involves driving a taxi or an Uber driver. That’s why you can buy a car. Generally, more than 90% of the population doesn’t buy a car. Because they didn’t have land , the government said, “I brought you the subway. You also have transportation. There are buses everywhere, and it’s very convenient. If you’re rich, buy a car. Because it’s a small town, they wanted to prevent traffic and chaos. They did this with the world’s largest taxation system. So, the car you normally buy for $20,000 here actually costs $100,000-120,000, and the government actually pays taxes on it for 10 years as a cost of using it. After 10 years, they want you to sell it. Because they say the car is old. They don’t even want to see old cars. They want everything to be new. That’s why the world’s most expensive cars are in Singapore. The reason is the tax. Good. Did you explain it? I hope we’ve touched on this part a little. I know I’ve been here before, and I want to share everything, I want to tell you. Let it be an inspiration, a guide. So that if you visit this place and come back one day, you can tell us about it. From the underpass now to Merlon I’m heading straight towards Marine. I just wanted you to see this when you cross the street . Look, you can’t see any garbage except for cleanliness, beauty, and order—leaves . It’s forbidden. There’s a very heavy fine for littering. If I weren’t ashamed, I’d take off my shoes and walk in my socks just to test it . I’m so curious to see if the ground is dirty. I haven’t seen a place this clean in a while. It’s been a year or two since I’ve been there. That’s why you feel this “how?” effect on your face. Look around here, for example. And do you know what I find most interesting? There are trees everywhere, but there are also plants like this. I mean, they manage to protect and care for these plants very well, even though it’s this hot . You see this all over the country. They’ve made sure to take mountains, rocks, slopes, sidewalks, and greenery. Now I decided to walk a bit. I could take the metro or Ubay if I wanted. It’s more enjoyable to explore like this. I saw a place like this. I remember seeing it last year too . Look, friends, this is a sidewalk. This is the thing I was telling you about. And I know those are called traveler’s trees. It opens in an L -shape. It’s very similar to a banana tree. You see it a lot in Asia, and it’s very beautiful. It has a shape like this. You’ll see it a lot around here. It has a very aesthetic look. Here you go. Here’s an ordinary sidewalk in Singapore. Look, I’m also sharing a lot of stuff on Instagram right now. If you follow, I’m chasing a dream on my account. I’ll be creating more instant photos and travel guides there. They’ll be suggestions on how to get to these places and what to do . You know it’s a little faster than YouTube . I’ve said this many times already. And if you like these videos, would you give them a like and a pause for the algorithm? Go ahead and give them a record- breaking like on this Singapore trip. Because for us, this is YouTube’s criterion for being recommended, or there’s this whole hyping thing going on. When you do this, YouTube recommends us. That’s how you get notified. Otherwise, they don’t even send notifications. That’s the system we have. Unfortunately, we’re their slaves, so to speak. I have over 500,000 followers. For example. I’m giving it a notification to 20,000 people, for example. Since there are such interesting things, if you’d like to support it, leave a comment, and like it, I’d be very happy. I’m not a beggar like that, man. I just We want to see what we deserve. Just kidding, we’ve already arrived at the marina. It’s visible there. It’s such a hot day, but the weather is still nice. I’m happily walking around the marina. There’s the world’s most famous lion statue right there . I’ll tell you about it in a minute. This is the hotel I’ll be staying at in a minute. The Marine Bay Sense Hotel. See that pool on the roof? I used to come here all the time and take photos. I wonder what swimming there would be like? I hope we’ll experience it soon. This is the financial district. There’s not much here, anyway, as tourists. They have some really cool shows there in the evenings. Light shows and such. We’ll watch those, too. There’s a place called Gardens By the Bay in the back . They’ve set up a very futuristic avatar set with this artificial forest , so to speak. I’ll show you that. Like this. I’m walking around the marina now . I had one of those Servet pistachio bars in my bag from Fethiye . They had other flavors, too. I’m going to eat one of those now and walk around. My energy has run out. And these never spoil. I’ve never shared them before . This is my first time sharing them, and I’m sharing them with peace of mind because they’re our Fethiye brand. They originated in our region, and they’re not just protein bars; they’re famous throughout our country for their sugar-free Turkish delights. Now, you can buy Fethiye Tahini online . You can buy these bars too. They have everything you need. I ‘ll leave the website to the description. But if you ever find yourself in Fethiye or Göbeklitepe, stop by one of the Servet stores and say hello. I’ll leave the website to the description. You can check them out there. They gave me 50 of these. I threw away my bag. I eat them whenever I’m low on energy. I’m at the Merlon statue. I need to tell you about this now. Because there are four very important tigers here. The Asian tiger. One of them is Singapore. They ‘re very good. Can I tell you something? I was promoting Servet, but I can honestly say it was so good, it gave me incredible energy and was delicious. Lately , you can find Servet products in many chain stores. It gave me such a great energy right now. I’m practically back to my senses. It became a product I advertised with peace of mind. I ate it to my heart’s content. Now there are four tigers in Asia. After World War I, these tigers are rising up. From what perspective? Economically. If you remember, when I was in Moldova, I made an episode about the Soviets and World War I. If you haven’t, definitely watch it. The Japanese ruled the entire region up to Singapore, where I am now, for about five years . The Japanese grew so powerful that they invaded China. The Japanese were unstoppable in World War II. In fact, just think, these places were breaking free from the control of the British, who had dominated for 200 years. Then, of course, a serious naval conflict began, especially with the Dutch and the Dacians, in terms of trade. But the Japanese took control here and ruled for years. Until World War II. Then, with the support of America after World War I, trade was revived in the global economy and capitalism . And I made two different episodes for you while I was in Japan, Korea, and South Korea . I’m wondering how these countries managed to do this. It’s all thanks to America. Because America funds them, these countries are revolting, saying, ” I don’t want war.” Think about trade and making money. They even fund and give money to Japan, which they dropped an atomic bomb on. Here are Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. These four Asian tigers are called Tigers of Asia, or Asian Tigers, whatever you call them. Singapore’s Merlon statue, the same kind I just showed you, actually represents this. The tiger has a tiger’s head and a fish’s body. Why a fish? Since seafaring was the main source of income here until the 1970s, the body, fish, mind, intellect, and strength also represent the tiger . Sounds good? But of course, the story doesn’t end there. I told you they had a very important leader. Now, it’s time to connect with him. But wait a minute, I’m very excited. First, let me just watch from afar. I’m 36 years old. I still enjoy traveling alone, exploring the world. I mean, I stopped, look. In Fethye. I stayed for two weeks, then three. At first, it was fine, just doing laundry, dishes, and cleaning the house. I have a house, but it’s so boring. Everything feels the same. Or maybe we’ve gotten used to it. I ‘m happy with that. You’re happy to stay put. The other is working. But this is what fuels me. And believe me, I worked so hard to swim in the world’s largest infinity pool soon . I’m saying, “I’ll pay for it.” They didn’t sponsor me. But feeling that way is like reliving a virus you’ve already learned in your body . You always crave it. They call it the travel virus, the experience virus. So, let’s have the best one, man. Let’s all travel. Let’s all understand the world. Let’s all learn, let’s all teach. Look, I’m tearing myself apart while traveling the world, trying to show it to your children. Because it doesn’t work. You know, we can’t achieve things by complaining, rebelling, criticizing. It doesn’t change. The best thing is to be a good example. My biggest goal in life, too, was how many years ago I started this business? It’s been about 12 years. It was about setting a good example for the people in my country. That’s why I used to think I wouldn’t die just to stay at this hotel. I just wondered if it would make me happy? I stayed out of curiosity. It’s not like we go every day and stay at Marina Bey’s. I just wanted to buy myself a gift, always looking at this hotel from afar five times each time I visited. Now, being able to swim in it, to stay there, makes me feel a little honored, and I wanted to share my pride and excitement with you. I hope you have something even more beautiful, even better, and something that makes you happier. Dream it, go for it. There’s nothing you can’t achieve if you dream and work hard. Of course, if your father is rich, you might not need these things, but believe me, wealth doesn’t bring happiness either. If it were, so many people wouldn’t commit suicide in the richest countries in the world . The important thing is for people to find themselves, to live a life that makes them happy and motivated. Let’s get our message across and tell you how Singapore has succeeded since the 1970s. Their founder’s name is Lean Lu. This guy actually destroyed the country in the 1970s. Singapore wants to separate from Male. He says, “You’re not more advanced than us.” You lack vision, so to speak. Malaysia won’t allow this. Then, when Malaysia’s prime minister is in England, he says, “I’m tired of you,” and tells them to leave. And one morning, Singaporeans leave Male and learn they’re a country. Back then, this was just swampland, a mulberry field. In the early ’70s, everything was essentially barren land, islands, fields, whatever you want. So, not a single trace of this was even known. Then, as I told you, this man starts building the first infrastructure and says, “We will be the safest, most equitable, and corruption-free country in the world .” Look, this is very important. Because, he says, if there’s no corruption, investment will come. This will be a cradle of trade. He doesn’t focus on agriculture and livestock. His goal is to build a country focused on trust. That’s why Singapore is one of the five safest countries in the world today, and even one of the top three metropolitan cities. It’s also one of the four easiest countries in the world to do business in. Singapore’s port is where 30% of global trade flows. But of course, if Malaysia closed the Strait of Malacca today, ships wouldn’t be able to pass through. Would it ? Wouldn’t it. What happens then? Well, there’s the Suez Canal. A right needs to be established through here. He says, “Come west, let’s make Singapore the hub of Asia, Africa, and Europe .” He first goes to the British, then to the Americans. He convinces them. He says, “I’ll establish my country in 10 years. I’ll focus on business administration, management, economics, and science. I’ll make it the center of trade. Come and establish your companies here,” he says. Now, when they build port cities here, their goal isn’t to have a very large population. Some ships don’t even enter here. They conduct trade while they’re loading onto ships and start managing all the money before it even gets into port. And that’s when the investors from that country come here. This place is starting to become both a financial and commercial center. Who are their competitors? Hong Kong. Next to it is Malaysia. To a certain extent. But the British and Americans, in particular, have such a high demand for this place that it’s the perfect hub for Asia and Europe. It’s a turning point. Singapore. The word Singapore, meaning lion in Sanskrit, thus truly demonstrates its lion-like character. It also means trade. And it’s one of the few countries that has managed to become a global trade center in 50 years . Why is it rare? Right next to it is Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, and Cambodia. None of them are as strong. The main reason for this is this man’s vision and security index, which made it a cradle of trade. So much so that why are there so many restrictions in Singapore today? To ensure safety. For example, even swearing or fighting in the streets is forbidden here. In fact, when they were establishing the country, they even focused on why the country was dirty. Cigarettes and chewing gum were introduced. That’s why they banned cigarettes and chewing gum. Nowadays, you can pay a few thousand dollars just for that. Oh, no smoking? They are. There are certain places. You can smoke in certain places, but you can’t smoke in the street. You can’t litter. There are thousands of cameras everywhere. That’s why it’s the safest country in the world. In fact, they know very well that if people were given a little freedom, the evil within them would come out. That’s why they’ve kept it under control with such pressure . On the way here, I asked the guy in the taxi how life was going. He said he was at the airport and very bored. Then I asked him, “So, how’s life?” What are you doing? How do you socialize? We drink. How ? I said, “Singaporeans aren’t very social.” He said, “Well, a little bit.” He said, “There’s always been such education and rules. That’s why we try to socialize and distract ourselves by drinking. We’re generally bored because there’s nowhere to go .” That’s the downside of Singapore, in my opinion. We’re not going to talk about the positives all the time. Let’s talk about the negatives a little. For example, there’s another downside. It’s an expensive country, so unfortunately, everyone, look, there’s something I always say in my videos: People don’t drive around in Ferraris and Range Rovers everywhere. So, even if you’re in Singapore, you can struggle to make ends meet. For example, the guy told me this: If you want to buy a house, the cost starts at $1 million and goes up to $4 million. But the government has a system here. But they have to queue up for that. For example, 2,000 people apply. The government can only provide housing for 1,000 people. Then they buy it next year. Then you have to queue again. For example, the kid said, “It’s very difficult to find a house.” Now, when you look online, everything looks rosy, but it’s not at all like that; this place is expensive, meaning the rents are high. I even asked the kid about it. He was an Uber driver. He was a taxi driver. He was getting paid about $5,000, but he said, “I can’t live on that money.” He said, “I’m staying with my family.” And the rent, he said, is a huge problem. The rent is like this. The government leases you a house for 99 years. That’s the system. After you die, your child inherits it , etc. I’ve explained this in previous videos. Watch it there, but the deed doesn’t belong to you; the state does. There are other systems like that. If you want a deeded house, a 3+1 house costs $34 million. That’s a crazy amount of money, even for this place . The downside is the rent, which I’ve only seen 56 times. That’s a huge problem. That’s why I thought it would be helpful to know these things before coming to Singapore, and I’ve summarized them for you in a quick way. Every country has its challenges and its advantages. The important thing is what we learn from the country we visit. This is what I always want to say in my videos. Years ago, I was working at one of the world’s largest consulting firms. Those familiar with Bfor know this. I was a graduate of Istanbul University. When I first came to Singapore, I said, “We had offices there, too.” The company had offices in 160 countries. It’s a very large company. Actually, I prefer suits or T-shirts. Although, I’m working more now. Don’t worry, I was one of those who decided to live in T-shirts when things were like this, but if I had stayed, Singapore, for example, is one of the places I’d like to come and work. They even have offices here. Then I thought, “Everywhere in the world has its good and bad.” Okay. But why isn’t everyone developing fairly ? Why aren’t people developing? Humanity isn’t developing entirely through smart policies. If your leaders are smart, they can analyze society and other countries well. If they can establish good relationships, there are those who are exploited and those who are not. Judge for yourself. But at the end of the day, they somehow manage to move forward. Everything is very difficult in this country too. The bans and fines are the most severe here in the world. The cost of living is very high, but at least they can live safely and at least they have one of the world’s most powerful passports. At least education is very good. At least they have managed to become Singapore. After all, it’s a free country. So, if we’ve conveyed our messages, I’m leaving this hotel. I stayed here the first day. I’ll leave the connections to these hotels to explain . If you happen to come to Singapore, you can stay in hotels in the city center for $80-100, which are the most affordable. During peak season, prices can go up to $200-300. I came during a quieter time just now, but there’s something you should know: the rooms are 20 square meters. That means two people can barely fit in the room. If two people stand up at the same time, you won’t be able to move. Keep that in mind. As I mentioned before, I recommend you make a note of your arrival in an expensive place. We’re leaving here. Check into the world-famous Marine Beysense hotel soon. Our journey will begin. Thanks, man. I appreciate it, he says. The only guy was Singaporean. We arrived after chatting like that. He brought me here for $12. We’re actually at the entrance to the hotel. This is also a shopping mall. He says, “You’re very lucky to be staying in such a hotel .” I asked, “Haven’t you ever stayed in a Singaporean hotel?” “No,” he said. “That’s only for the rich. “Are you rich?” he asked. I said, “Dude, do you know how many years I’ve been walking around in a ripped T-shirt?” I said, just kidding. I also bought this gift to make a difference in my life. “My business has increased,” I said, as I walked to the hotel entrance. Ladies and gentlemen, I welcomed you. I feel very rich right now. Thank you very much. So, am I entering the hotel right now? Am I going to film at the airport? You’re practically feeling it. Look, I’m starting to get excited now. Look, how did you do it, brother? What kind of money do these Asians and Chinese have? They own the world’s most luxurious brands. They practically control the best hotels . Look, there’s not a single Westerner besides me. You see, the taxi driver said the same thing. I’ve been telling you for years that things are getting worse in the East. The Chinese are making it felt in their bones. I’ll film it. I’m still waiting in line. We paid so much, and no one cares. My favorite thing in this country is filming with cameras everywhere? No one interferes. Now, only hotel guests can use the rooftop pool. We’ve made sure. I’m checking in now. She gave me information about the hotel. They also gave me water . Complimentary water. They give you water when you pay $800. Okay. I said, “There’s a good room for me. A lot of people will be watching.” I said, “I’ll do my best since it’s your first time.” So, I tried to use my YouTuber thing. Let’s see if it works. We’ll check in now. Let’s see. I’m waiting. The line is short right now. I’ll see what floor they give me. I hope they give it from a higher floor so we can have a clearer view. If I understand correctly, they’ve upgraded me again. I told the girl, “I’ll tell them I’m a YouTuber.” At first, she couldn’t get me a room. She said the rooms weren’t clean, and I arrived at 300. Then she said, “Hold on a minute.” She went to me and gave me a slip of paper. She said only casino customers can use a special area here. And there’s one of the largest casinos in Asia. They make more money from the casino . Then she said, “This is all for you.” free of charge. He said you are our first guest and also he said to take a good video of the rooms. I said are you kidding me. I looked at the paper, for example, the entrance to the room he gave me is 300 dollars. That private area. Let’s see. I don’t know either. I didn’t understand. I hope I understood correctly. I’m going towards the room now. We’re on the 47th floor of tower 3. I go up so much that I transferred at the 34th floor. I took another elevator . Now I’m going to the 46th floor. My room was there. I wasn’t even sure for a while. You got on the elevator. I tell people my room doesn’t have a number. We’re here. Wait a minute. Wow. Look there. The girl gave me a room with this view. She said it was more expensive and better than there. I don’t know, maybe she fooled me, but why would she do something like that? That’s what I remember when I looked at hotel prices. Now we’re on the 46th floor. Let’s see somewhere over there. My room is 93 46 99. It smells lovely. It’s not like that. I know the hallway smells of perfume. It must be somewhere here, why can’t I find it yet? Dude, these room numbers aren’t written. Let’s open it for a minute and see if we can get in. The one I bought was definitely tiny. What did they give me? Unbelievable. Look there. The girl transferred me directly to the VIP suites. I love these YouTubers. Wait a minute, a second. I was shocked too. Look ? I have my own bar here. There’s a six-person area where I’ll eat . This is my seating area. Do you know how many thousand dollars this was? This room is going to freak me out. Wait a minute. I shouldn’t be this lucky. Something ‘s weird about this. What is this? What’s this? You’re seeing the luckiest day of my life. I wasn’t expecting anything. I’d normally booked a room like this. That’s all I got. This is where I’ll shower. Right here. What’s this place, man? For example, a massage room? A treatment room? What? I’ve never seen anything like it. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to a hotel in Singapore where we went crazy. It’s so interesting. You know how life sometimes throws unexpected surprises at you when you don’t plan anything. I’m experiencing it right now . I was going to come and swim in this pool, take a photo, and leave. Just to see them suddenly hand me a piece of paper right there at the entrance. Where is it? It was something I couldn’t understand. I’m wondering if I’ve ever stayed in a Suite. I must have stayed in the Maldives or something, probably with Sezer. They hosted us back then too. But I was intrigued that complete strangers here would suddenly make such a gesture. Call it the power of social media. Now they gave me a piece of paper. They said there’s a place called Paize Sky in the second tower. I can use all of it. Free of charge. Afternoon tea, breakfast, and unlimited drinks until 1 p.m. I could go and enjoy myself there. That was another one of the gestures she gave me. The room is huge. I don’t care about the room at all. What can I do? The view is truly beautiful. In the back, there’s Gardens by the Bay, a place the guys built back in the day that looks like scenes from the movie Avatar . It’s a very iconic place. We’ll go there in the evening. It’s even more beautiful at night. But I came here to swim. Let’s change clothes and enjoy the view for a bit at the world-famous rooftop pool. What’s it like to swim there? Is the view really nice? Let’s experience it. The pool is on the 57th floor. Now I’m going up there. Look, at first, I couldn’t even call the elevator because it wasn’t like this. The people on that floor have created a different area. You could touch it from there. I couldn’t understand. My usual ignorance. Yes, we’re here. We swear we’re here. It’s very interesting. You know, you always see pictures of it online, come across it in the news, and then experience it in person? Oh, that’s where I’m at right now. Here you go. I’m walking around the world’s highest, largest infinity pool right now. I’ll go swimming in a minute anyway . But it’s a very interesting feeling. Right now, you feel like you’re actually walking above, above, in the sky, all of Singapore. The financial district is across the street. I’ll start swimming in a minute, anyway. It’s not a very deep pool. It’s a shallow pool. Of course, the view you see isn’t natural. You’re on top of a building. Technically, you see a skyscraper. But it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I’ll be in the pool in a minute, but while I’m dry and don’t get wet, I’ll visit a terrace here called Skypark . The total length of this place is over 300 meters. The pool is around 200 meters. It’s the longest infinity pool in the world. This complex actually cost $5.7 billion. It’s not just a hotel. There ‘s also a financial district, a shopping mall, and a casino. Thank you. Thank you. The Bay Hotel actually has over 2,500 rooms inside. It’s also a huge resort. I came here to get the best view from the observation deck, which they call the observation point. By the pool. I’ll be in in a minute before I dry up. Let’s see over there. Come on. I told you there’s a pool right there on the 57th floor. There’s also a lookout point on the 56th. You can think of that ship-shaped structure on the top floor as its tip. I’m at the head of the ship right now, and when you get to the top, this view greets you below. Look, Formula 1 is being held in Singapore. You see the starting point there. It’s one of the events Singapore hosts every year . It has such a view. And would you look over there , friends? I told you there’s incredible skill in the video. You can tell from the ships, can’t you? There are ships everywhere. What does the height look like from this angle? We’re looking right down on Singapore. Even at that height, my feet are shaking. I’m actually in space right now, and it’s nice to see that. Now I’m going to go in the pool. I can swim now. Yes, let’s go in and see what happens after we get in. I wonder how tall we’ll be? I went into the pool on the roof. They’ve built a really big pool. I mean, it’s not just for show. I’ve stayed at hotels like this in Koalumpor. They were a bit smaller. Of course, there are bigger ones, but this one is huge. There are restaurants and such. You can eat here. There are bars. They also host events like parties and marts. But that’s the point, man. Go ahead. We experienced it too. Swimming in the pool on the 57th floor of the world-famous Marina Base Sense Hotel in Singapore is like this experience. It’s all for you. I’m sitting here on the 57th floor, watching the view. After a while, you get bored. You talk about the pool, the building, and then you start to relax. Then, if hyperactive people like you and me don’t like to sit around, you get bored and go back to eating. So, since we didn’t eat anything decent today, I ordered some chicken wings. The menu isn’t very extensive. You can only eat a few basic items. And there are drinks and such. I paid 30 Singapore dollars for that. So, it’s about 25 US dollars. I’m going to spend the day swindling like this. Because there’s a restaurant I always miss when I come here in the evenings . I’ll take you there. It’s one of the 101 best steakhouses in the world . I’ve made quite a list. Almost there. I’m sure it’ll be wonderful. Bon appetit. He’ll build me a sunset house or something like that. I’ll end the day here. It’s night. I put on my clothes. I thought, “Let’s go to a rooftop. Let’s see what it looks like at night .” Here you go. The pool at night. In Singapore , you see the skyscrapers in the background . It’s like this. You feel like you’re floating in the sky from above. It was like that. At least we got to see it at night. Maybe I’ll come back after dinner and swim too. It’s open until 1:00. Swimming on top of skyscrapers like that is an interesting experience. Thanks. But I’m hungry. I’m going to eat. I had a reservation for 9:30. It’s been like this for a long time, and I made a reservation at a restaurant I’ve been wanting to go to in previous years . I have a list. A list of the world’s 101 best steakhouses. It’s called Best Steakhouse 101. I’m trying to complete this list in the countries I visit. Four of them are in Singapore. Imagine, there are four in this tiny country. And I chose one. Now I’m going to have dinner there. Maybe I won’t be back again tonight . So, I thought I’d take one last shot of the view. Let’s see it at night. I hope you enjoy the video. I think I experienced it to the best of my ability. I’ll say it again, you can have the best. Look at how beautiful it is. Right behind the hotel is Gardens by the Bay , which means forest or garden by the Bay, and they’ve created such a magnificent place. It’s beautiful at night. Compared to the day. You can’t see anything during the day. The lighting will start soon. We’ll see it. Isn’t it amazing? That’s the small part you saw earlier . This is the larger area. You can even walk across that bridge here. Now I’ll walk around and wait for the light show on the screen. I hope you see it well. The live performance is very good. Now the show begins. Enjoy, friends. Look what happens. It’s incredible. And they added that music. Wow! Come on! It’s beautiful on the screen too, but I wish you could see what my eyes see. I would love it. The eye is different. Look, it just got better and better. It was very good. It was truly wonderful. Thank you. You might have thought you were just watching a small show and park, but this is actually a massive space costing $1 billion. It’s built on 101 hectares of land . The purpose of creating this artificial park was to plan it to reflect how green Singapore is and to increase its green spaces. And you just saw 18 artificial trees like this one, with lighting. They called it the Super Tre. Inside, there’s even the world’s largest greenhouse. It’s made entirely of glass and entered the Guinness Book of World Records. They even built a 35-meter artificial mountain inside the greenhouse. So, that’s the kind of place we’re talking about. Calling it just a park would be unfair. This show takes place in the evenings. I know they usually add another one on weekends, at 75 and 5. It was one of the famous events you should see in Singapore when you visit . You can come and visit during the day. There are bridges here. You can walk right through the park. Maybe I’ll have a little more time here when I go to Bali in the next episode. Then I’ll both explore and show you around. If you’re interested, go ahead and leave a comment. I hope you’re enjoying the video so far. Singapore is truly a futuristic place. They’ve practically built a city, a country, 100 years in the future, as a way to travel back in time . If I can inspire you, at least with a little cleanliness, how wonderful. Feel free to leave your thoughts in the comments. I’m starting to get hungry and thirsty. The sea is slowly starting to eat for the wrestlers, but what food? Look, what are we going to do now? There’s a restaurant I’ll be going to right here, called The Cut. It’s right next to the hotel. I’m going to eat there. It’s so cool inside. It smells so good, they probably even try to smell it without airing it out. You know, there’s a similar one in Dubai. The same one exists here. It smells like money. It’s truly the same, but different. Technically speaking, the world needs places like this, by the way. And these are small countries where the rich spend their money, and corporations find them to lower their taxes, so to speak . Look, there are many countries in the Caribbean. There’s a whole world of countries like this in the Caribbean. Some countries even issue passports to Turkish citizens for around $250,000. Do some research online. You might not know. Let’s get some guidance from Deniz Pehlivan today . Let’s have a nice dinner. This is the shopping mall right in front of the hotel. It ‘s one of the largest in the country. There’s also a street they call Orchidd Road. Think of it as our engagement stone. There are many luxury stores there . I showed you in the previous episode. There are stores I don’t know any of them. You’ll understand from there. Although, this place is on the same level, on the same level. It’s quite expensive. Why am I bringing this up now ? Because my restaurant is here too. Look, they come and take photos in front of it. It’s called Kats. I’m going to eat here now. Come on. Blessed Gazam, friends. Please, per person. I want five lira each. I’m not a beggar. I came to a very nice restaurant. I don’t want to film people; I’ll pretend I’m filming myself. It looks like a really stylish, enjoyable place. Let’s see what the food is like. Now that the menu is here, there’s something about Singapore that caught my eye. You can drink water like this in many places. Since I’m here, I’d like to thank my world tour sponsor, Aura Seban, once again. You too can turn ordinary tap water into drinkable water at home or at work. Thanks to the Auros Bu unique water purifiers, you can have access to clean water anywhere . Oh, the water is so good. I wanted to thank them too. The menu is here, friends, if you’re ready, fasten your seat belts. I’m going to jail in a minute. Here you go. It’s not very expensive, I won’t lie. It’s around $100. Around $100 Singapore dollars, so you can have a good steak for $6070 . This is such an expensive place in such an expensive part of the country. I think it’s normal by world standards. You know, we pay the same in Turkey . I’ll pick one now. There’s mostly Australian and American meat. I’ve been to many places on this list around the world. I’ve never had bad meat. I’m pretty sure this place will be great too. We’ll pick one. Let’s see. Now the wine menu has arrived. I chose a very nice wine. It’s from ’99. It’s nothing. I thought it was expensive too. It’s only $19,500 a bottle. Look, I was expecting more. They’ve gone crazy, but the alcohol prices in general, especially the zeros at the end, are unbelievable. Look, what you see is Japanese meat. I thought it was a photo, but it was live. You know, it’s real. Thank you very much for the presentation. That meat is around $250 now, but I’ll eat Japanese meat in Japan anyway. When? You’ll see it in a few weeks. I want more Australian meat like this. I love Australian meat. So let’s go with that style for a bit. Their prices are around $120. Let me pick one. Is she starving? I mean, you eat the butter, right? Butter everywhere. What is Vagyu butter? As you can tell by its color, they’ve made it with meat. And from Vagyu meat. The most precious meat in the world. They brought a lot of bread around here. I don’t understand it at all. It’s just bread. She spent an hour explaining it. My mom makes the same kind, in Fethye. But I was curious about this Vagyu butter. If it’s good, let’s make it like Fethye’s. They couldn’t make it. I didn’t understand a thing. It’s like tahini butter. It’s coming in a minute. The taste is starting to come to me. Or maybe it’s a taste I don’t know because my mouth isn’t used to it. Because when we were kids, we were always fed Vagyu butter and sent to school with industrial oil between bread. From now on, I’ll treat myself to a luxury treat every year . Next year, I’ll go to Hong Kong. There were things I couldn’t do there, too . It’s beautiful, luxury. I loved this luxury thing. Oh, I didn’t know about it. You know, butter is just a thing. I’m eating an incredible meal right now. Look, I’m saying this before I eat it. I’m saying I’m eating it. I know what’s coming. I ordered lobster and meat. I mentioned the meat because the restaurant is so good. And Islakoz because I’m in Singapore. And this lobster bisque costs 25-30 US dollars. So, it’s still affordable for a place like this from Turkey. People who have had this experience know what I mean. I want to start with the meat. Seriously, when I look at meat, you can tell its amazingness from the way it’s cooked, from the smell. I don’t even think it’s possible. It won’t be bad meat. This isn’t meat. I can’t classify what I eat as meat. It would be an insult to this product. It’s that good. Now Islakoz has suddenly arrived. We grew up on fetek, always Islakoz. That ‘s why I eat it. Just kidding, when you come to these countries, you’ll eat these things. You can eat pizza and pasta anywhere, but I think eating such special dishes enriches life in terms of experience. And I’m also experiencing places around the world. I’ve shown you Korea and Japan, too. In Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico. These are a part of my life, and I hope that sharing them with you will at least provide you with a glimpse of vision and guidance, even if you don’t come here. I won’t say the same thing, but the meat and lobster are good. Wait a minute. Oh, this is really good too. Bon appetit this time. Happy birthday, Deniz. Thank you. I’m so glad you exist, my dear. Oh, it’s so good, I’m full. If you ask how it was, can I tell you something real? Good. I’ve had much better, but it’s not worth it. I paid 200 US dollars with taxes. I think it’s a crazy amount, but this is Singapore. Oh, I also got a little carried away because it was my birthday. I won’t lie. That’s why I don’t feel sorry. What did I tell you about this trip when I first came here? My goal is to take a vacation I haven’t experienced, one I’m curious about, without even thinking about it. Because life exists only if you are. Memories and experiences are a part of life. I said, are they more precious than me? That’s why I went on this trip. I did a similar gesture to myself after the hotel dinner and drinks . So, ladies and gentlemen, we’ve reached the end of another episode. In the next one, I probably want to go to bed early. Because I’m up early to enjoy that pool. I want to. I want to walk in the parks here. I want to make the most of my last day in Singapore. This birthday break, my wife and I are on a journey. So, see you in the next episode. I hope you enjoyed both my time in Singapore and this pampered birthday break . That ‘s all from me for now. See you in the next episode. By the way, in the next episode, we’ll leave here and go to Bali. So turn on notifications. Bali is here again. You see. Here you go. Goodbye. Bye, bye. Turkey’s leading water purification brand, Aura Sebon Uni, presented.
