トワイクロス動物園レビュー&完全版ツアー|行く価値はある?|イギリス旅行Vlog 4K

hello and welcome to explore home repeat today we are off the twi cross zoo in lerare this is a zoo that’s been around for a long time we have previously visited although last time it was just at the tail end of the pandemic so things were still under restrictions we had to wear masks so we thought we’d come back again to see what it was like and if it’s really worth you coming on your next family day out we’re going to explore everything this Zoo has to offer see all the animals and enclosures and try out the food offerings right let’s go and explore we’re just walking into this big Visitor Center now I do vaguely remember this from last time but it’s all kind of grass covered to be eco-friendly they check your tickets and then you’re straight into big soft plate area with a cafe and everything uh now I forgot about this they’ve got Costa Coffee here at T cross which is pretty good it’s better than your average uh Cafe that you get at a zoo and it also has an amazing view of the mountain line enclosure right next to where all the seating is oh so it’s a snow leopard look at that what a view so they’ve just scanned our tickets we’ve walked into the main area of the zoo and there’s quite a lot going on it’s Halloween sort of season at the minute so they have got their usual uh photo opportunity over here they’ve got a few animals made out of Lego over there and then lots of events now for Halloween they really have got a few things so there’s trickle treating all day a spooky Show costume competition face painting there’s also lots of talks going on throughout the day at various places so Gibbon Forest snow leopards flamingos Penguins lots of different stuff to go and see to really break up the day if you’ve ever watched one of our Zoo reviews before you’ll know that our top tip for zoos is obviously get there early and then when you do head right to the opposite end of the park um from the entrance and that means it’s way way way quieter do all of that bit first which later on we’ll get really busy and then work your way back towards the entrance through the zoo seeing all the attractions because that means you’re doing the opposite to everyone else and it’s way quieter so we’ve made it to the back of the park and we’re going to go into chimpanzee Eden this place is a really Co really well themed loads of foliage even the floor is kind of squishy yeah it’s so themed this area with all the canopy and the trees and trying to make you feel immersed in their environment have you found any no one just te Ling in his little [Music] bed oh we’re going into our favorite bit is Laura Landing now last time we came here it was all everyone was having to still wear masks and things like that so really good to come in here and see what it’s like we’re doing this in the afternoon they said they’ve actually feed more in the afternoon not the morning yeah that’s a surprise I thought they’d be hungry in the morning but no definitely afternoon after 2:00 they [Music] recommended this is so so good really really amazing you must do this 2 a pot for the nectar but it is absolutely brilliant you do get slightly covered in the nectar they tend to shake it and flick it everywhere but it is really really good fun it is excellent this loret Landing isn’t it yeah and it’s not too busy actually no get in straight at 2:00 when they start serving the nectar again in the afternoon and it is really really quiet but all the birds want to [Music] feed I remember this Gibbon Forest being really good last time it’s much newer than a lot of the rest of the zoo a really nice River all flowing around it and I remember it being really cool inside don’t you yeah and I’m look forward to like seeing what it is again it’s just trying to remind myself like what it it was like it turns out this is where everyone was it is packed in this given Forest Area yeah and it’s really warm actually I remember this is the place with the cool squashy floor and all the lighting effects it’s all done like leaves but it’s all squashy like you’re on a forest floor the Gibbon Forest really is one of the best areas of the entire Zoo there are so many windows to look through so many Gibbons to see both inside the building and then outside they’ve got so much room to explore and climb and they really really are great to watch the kids absolutely love them now next up is the Western Lan gorillas now you wouldn’t think in this sort of rather shabby looking building but you always get the most amazing views of the gorillas in here [Music] wow that gorilla enclosure is amazing both times we’ve been here we have had the most amazing super close up views of those gorillas it was literally the other side of the glass to me was almost so close the camera wouldn’t focus on it absolutely brilliant make sure you go to that gorilla enclosure so at this far end of the park you are a bit limited for sort of food and drink but the catch here fish and chip restaurant right next to the gorilla enclosure was it’s a very limited menu largely Just Fish and Chips as you’d expect they do have Costa Coffee in there we had a really nice cheese and onion bake and there’s a few other bits in there so actually not too bad and looks really nice inside oh we’re going into the Graff deep dark wood area so this is kind of a separate branded area I think this is a Butterfly House we’ve got first of all but this is called this Butterfly House as with most butterfly houses it’s really warm and humid they’ve got various birds and obviously plenty of butterflies some really really big ones lots of room to explore really big area so yeah love it opened in 2022 the gruff land is a 4 acre walkthrough attraction with animatronics from the children’s book live animal enclosures there’s also a play area and Cafe as well as some caves to explore this strange slightly sparse area wasn’t the best but they had try to include lots of conservation messaging which is certainly a good thing I guess if you’ve got kids that are really into the gruff books then they’ll certainly enjoy this more than we did so that’s our day over here at Twi cross Zoo what did you think yeah I think we’ve had a good day it’s not massive so it’s we’ve managed to kind of go around it twice today yeah absolutely there is plenty to see like I said it’s plenty of primates apes monkeys uh the gorillas are real highlight here but it isn’t it’s not massive it’s manageable in a day particularly if you’ve got little kids this place is quite good cuz it’s not too spread out not too much walking plenty of stuff for the kids as well isn’t there yeah there’s like slides and then there’s interactive fits within the grff area yeah so it’s pretty good for all ages yeah that Gruff area well it was slightly strange in some ways it was quite good because it it was something a bit different and obviously a lot of kids very keen on the gra follow stories but it did feel like they were just trying to fill a bit of space in the park rather than really bring something new and different to the zoo for the money I would say for £26 it was reasonably good you can use Club card points which we did to Discount your ticket some of the enclosures are like brand new and some are older but that’s just any zoo and working progress yeah I think there are a few Tatty bits in comparison to some of the bigger sort of fancier like Chester there are some bits that probably need updating but things like that Gibbon Forest that was excellent really modern really emersive loads of theming right with that being said we’re off home don’t forget to like And subscribe and we see you next time bye bye [Music]

This week we visited and reviewed Twycross Zoo, a medium size zoo near Norton Juxta Twycross, Leicestershire. The zoo has the largest collection of monkeys and apes in the Western World, as well as tigers, zebra, giraffe and a whole host of other animals. We find out if it’s worth going and if it’s worth the ticket price.

  1. Great video guys your footage gets better every time you post. It looks like a lot of fun. Have a great weekend guys x

  2. This channel is the best for zoos!! Looks nice and full of exotic animals!! Have a great weekend guys.

  3. Excellent video as always. I have visited a few times in past years, most recent being 2018 I think. What now seems to put me off a bit is that their website says you have to pre-book and are unable to pay on the day. Did you see any evidence of anyone paying on the day for admission?

  4. Haven't been to Twycross Zoo since I was a child. So that's a long time ago. So don't remember too much but seems a good place to spend a few hours with the children, seeing the animals and those lovely lorekeets.

  5. Hi Matt, Issy and Sienna, looks like you all had a great day out! I loved seeing the Parakeets again – perhaps they thought they were sharing that nectar with you Matt?!
Anyway, really enjoyed your video! Many thanks and take care all. 🙂

  6. They need to charge realistic admission prices instead of inflated yearly passes. I don't want to get free subsequent entry all year as I would only come the once. £80+ for two adults and a child is ridiculous. More people will not bother going at all seeing as a family of three will cost over £80. Who on earth would want to go more than once in a year?

  7. This is the worst zoo , animals are in their shelters. It should be called LEGO zoo. It’s an expensive area for children playground.
