「フィリピンのアラスカ」を探訪(エスタンシア、イロイロ現地ツアー)

Uh, blowfish. Blowfish. Huh? But it will go like that. Oh, okay. [Music] It’s 3:30 a.m. and this is how early you need to be if you want to go to uh Sikon Island. All right. So, we are here in ter bus terminal Estania. We are just in time and there’s no one here. All right, so let’s get seated. So, it took us 2 hours to reach here. Next time, I think the perfect time is going to be 5:00 a.m. And now we are going to take a tricycle going to the municipal hall of the plaza. [Music] Okay. So, we are here at the port uh going to Sikon. So, this is where we’re going to uh ride a boat because in Estancha, the main way of living is fishing. And look at that fish. That That’s a big fish. Alohal told me that we’re just going to wait for the boat who’s going to be parked in here in this area. So, I got 2 hours to just walk around here at the port or even at at the town town proper. Hey, look at that. Fishing boats everywhere. I think uh Sikon is somewhere in that in that side cuz there’s an island. I think that that’s Look at this. I think this is a shark. Look at that. We have a baby shark. Baby shark. We have a per kilo baby shark. 200 200 per kilo. I want I want to What’s that? What’s that? Let’s check it out. In they do it by whispering to the seller, but here everyone can hear. If you want to buy it uh with your price, everyone can hear it and if someone’s going to outbid you, they can get the fish. But in Luzon, they won’t know what’s your bid cuz they’re just going to whisper it to the seller. So, I think this is better. This is better. But it will make the the price higher. Uh blowfish. Blowfish. Huh? But it will go like that. Oh, okay. People are bidding. So, someone won that already. Some someone uh bought that already. Oh, look at this fish. This is actually getting interesting. I never thought that I’ll be able to uh to witness something like this. Yeah. Very big tuna. Tuna. You want that? Puya, you bought that. They’re making a stancha seafood public market. And I think there’s going to be a restaurant on the top area. Look at that. Cuz there’s a seat. I can see seats there. We are inside the public market. Now [Music] there’s a fat dog here. She’s so fat. Oh, he’s so fat. Hello, Daddy. This is one of the cleanest fish market I’ve ever been to. What is this? Ah, blowfish. Blowfish. Poisonous. So, this is a blowfish, but told me it’s not poisonous. Oh, you just need to remove the uh the the spikes. This one. What’s that? Some of this fish here. It’s just the first time I I’ve seen it like this one. And this one I’ve seen it, but I never seen it like this. Yeah, it’s a blowfish. So, I’m looking around for a breakfast place around uh the port area, the public market. I cannot see one. Found a place to eat. And this is Mangapai. Miniapai bakery. But they they serve food. They serve real food right there. They have corn syog, long silog, all the the silogs and uh of course they have spaghetti which is weird. Uh they have bacho pit cantonon everything. So at last we have somewhere to eat. And of course if you want to have a coffee oh they have coffee and they have bread. Look at that. It’s it’s a complete uh place to eat here in uh in Estansia. And look at the selection of bread. An important reminder for you guys, if you are going to Sagon Island and if you are using the boat from uh Estansia in Iloilo, you need to bring cash. It’s important to bring cash because uh there’s not a lot of ATM around. And every uh everything that you you’re going to buy around Estansia and public market, restaurants like this, they only accept cash. No credit cards, no uh G-Cash, e-wallets, none of that stuff, just cash. So again, bring cash if you’re going to come to Estansia and going to Sikon. But in Sikon Island, you can use your credit cards, your GCash, e-wallets. It’s fine. But here in Estansia, mostly it’s cash. Too hot. Hot. That’s good. Hot but good. I just came from the port and they told me, well, the boats are there already, all three of them, but they told me that uh every single boat will go out 11:00 a.m. So, we still need to wait here for 3 hours. For now, we’re going to check out Estensia Moore. We are here in Gashano Mall. Pretty much everything you need, it’s here. Almost everything. Cinema cinema. Awala. Oh, so they don’t have cinema here. Thank you, bro. Thank you. This is actually a good concept. They have slightly damaged items here that they sell uh in a bargain price. So, that’s actually a good concept. And uh actually for us a consumer this is a good deal actually selling some of the items here like shirts pants on a bargain price. Wow. It’s actually it’s actually this is actually a good mall. I’ve seen a pants that’s only 200 pesos. That’s super cheap. That’s uh $4, guys. $4 for a brand new pants. I’m walking to the plaza and the municipal hall and maybe find uh the municipal church of uh Estancha. I can see a bell tower from here. I think that’s the church that we are looking for. And hopefully it’s going to be a centennial church. before the mass is over. There’s going to be it’s going to be a lot more busier. Just look at that. Everyone’s going out to the church. [Music] We are now inside the church of Estanchia. I heard the priest telling the people about renovating the church that it won’t be available for like maybe 2 weeks, 3 weeks. So there you go. As you can see, the ceiling is right now under construction. They have a hyperart uh supermarket. Maybe there’s a restaurant here. This is how they dry fish here in the Philippines. All right. Salted fish but not dried. Okay. So, uh this is in this is salted. Estansia specialty. Yeah. Okay. Okay. Believe it or not, I think I walk most of the town center of Estansia already. Prostansia with love. Welcome to Pebbolis Alaska of the Philippines. Estanchia. So this is the Alaska of the Philippines. Maybe because of the fish industry. We’re going to eat jabi. All right, we are back. at the port. And and that’s it for this vlog. And don’t forget to like this video and also subscribe to my channel so that you can go with me to Sikon Island, one of the best islands in the Philippines. And that’s on the next video. So see you there. Thank you. Bye.
