スカイプリンセス – 2025年の全デッキ船ツアー!

[Music] Welcome aboard Sky Princess. She’s a stunner. With 19 decks of comfy cabins and fabulous facilities, this ship can play host to some 3,660 passengers in 1,830 cabins. I’m Jetto Joe and I’m on my first ever cruise. So, join me as we sail the Western Caribbean on Sky Princess. In this video, we’re going to take a deckby- deck tour of the ship and its facilities. We step on board in Fort Lauderdale. [Music] Now, I’d never been on a cruise before, so there was real excitement when boarding the ship in Fort Lauderdale. And wow, first things first, and I’m greeted with this impressive atrium, the Piaza, which spans decks 5 through 7. So, this is the Piaza, which is the beating heart of the ship. And around it, you’re just going to find plenty of bars and restaurants. Down on deck 5 in a corner of the piaza, you’ll come across the International Cafe. This is for all your coffee, sandwiches, pastry, and salad needs. It’s open 24 hours a day and is great for quick snacks and it was a firm favorite for me for a light lunch. It’s also a fab spot for a morning caffeine fix if you’ve had too much wine from Vines which is directly opposite thanks to its range of decent wines on offer and laid-back feel. Vines was probably my favorite bar on the ship and with its shakuterie boards is also a casual dining option. Comfy seats and ocean views just complemented the lovely ambiencece and experience. Just off the piaza is guest services and straight across is Sabatini’s restaurant. This is the ship’s specialty Italian restaurant and comes with an extra cover charge which as of July 2025 is $55 per person plus gratuitity. Moving to the front of the ship, there’s the Lotus Spa featuring a number of massage and treatment rooms and the Enclave, an exclusive hydrotherapy pool with a ham. Back in the Piaza and next door to Vines is the gelato station serving up delicious gelato and desserts. Always time for cake. There sure is. And the ones dished up here are decadent. Look at this wedge of red velvet cake that I struggled to finish. [Music] I’m going to have to accept defeat. [Music] Bellinis is a swanky cocktail bar that has a classic elegant vibe and is the ideal spot for a post dinner tipple. Do you prefer yours shaken or stirred? [Music] CET dining room is at the aft of the ship and one of the three main dining rooms on board. The other two being Cello and Estrella up on deck 6. Each restaurant serves the same food but operates slightly differently with CET operating on fixed reservation sittings for dinner. Our sitting was at 7:30 p.m. and the menus were varied and sometimes themed. So this is the dining room which is where we’ve taken most of our meals and all the food has been really good actually and the service in this dining room has been excellent as well. [Music] The Piaza fun continues up on deck 6, starting with Good Spirits at Sea, a small but lively spot overlooking the Piaza below. This bar leads into an extensive casino, which is the only indoor smoking area on board. There’s plenty of machines, slots, and of course, roulette, poker, and blackjack tables. From the casino, we go into the Princess Theater, a huge theater that spans deck six and seven. And its stage hosts Broadway style theater shows, comedians, singers, and during the day, the likes of lectures, and culinary demonstrations. Take Five is a tuckedway jazz bar wedged between the theater and the casino. Jazz musicians play in the evening, and there’s a nice chilled atmosphere here, too. is closed off from the piaza and is a place to get away from the noise outside. Towards the middle of the ship, just off the piaza is the Estrella dining room. Instead of the silver and blues of Cai downstairs, this is all cream and gold and was open for breakfast and dinner on a turnup for a table type service. We ate breakfast here each morning and enjoyed indulging in plenty of good coffee, fresh pastries being brought to the table, and a range of hot and cold items from the menu. The Cello dining room is located at the back of the ship. This is a reservationonly dining room and was the only one we didn’t eat in. [Music] Deck 7 is home to some great bars and restaurants. First up is Alfredo. Voted best pizza at sea by USA Today. And I have to agree with the calzone that I wolf down on embarcation day. Alfredo is one of the casual dining options on board and comes with a cover charge of $14.99 to choose a starter, main, and dessert off the menu. As well as having great pizza on board, fabulous fish and seafood can be enjoyed at the Catch by Rudy. This specialty restaurant like Sabatinis has a cover charge, but the food and service at the catch by Rudy was exemplary and it was my favorite meal on board. We were greeted with a welcome glass of fizz served in a moose bouch before our starter and then freeze courses of fabulousness followed. I highly recommend the crab cakes which were delicious. The surf and turf was perfectly cooked and the chocolate pudding was an indulgent way to end the meal. Catch by Rudy. Food service excellent. Can’t hold it. Really well worth the money and the extra charge. So, cheers to that. Sandwiched in between is the Ocean Terra Sushi Bar, another of Sky Princess’s casual dining options with views out over the Piaza. In front is the Shops of Princess, a collection of shops on board, selling everything from jewelry to clothing and everything in between. [Music] Moving to the other side of the piaza and heading to the back is Princess Live, one of the ship’s main entertainment venues, popular with karaoke and trivia in the evenings. The Voice of the Ocean, a game show based on its real life equivalent, is held here, too. This bar could get busy on evenings with the ship’s emergency chairs often having to come out, but it was always a really fun atmosphere. From Princess Live, you then step into the Crown Grill and Bar. The Crown Grill is the ship’s steakhouse, and like the catch by Rudy and Sabatinis, is a specialty restaurant with a cover charge. The Crown Grill, though, does have a bar that channels a cool 1930s New York art deco vibe. And here you can indulge in cocktails to the soothing sounds of a house piano playing. The Vista Lounge Bar is at the very back of the ship. It’s our last stop on the tour of the ship’s lower decks, but don’t worry, we’re about to head up to the top. The Vista Lounge features a large bar and dance floor where live bands, DJs, and discos will go until the early hours of the morning. This is the venue you’ll want to make a beline for if you’re a bit of a night owl. Decks 8 through 15 are all cabins and have no communal areas. If you want to see what a cabin is like on Sky Princess, and I’ll give you a sneak peek here, then check out my room tour at the top of your screen now. Anyway, time for a quick outfit change. [Music] Up on deck 16 are the ship’s main pool areas. In the center of the ship, there are two main pools as well as several hot tubs that are dotted around the terrace. On the big screen in the mornings, Tai Chi at sea is played for a more zen start to your day. Whereas in the afternoon and evenings, televised concerts, sporting events, and movies under the stars are played here. The pools are flanked by a couple of bars, and there’s casual poolside dining to be found at Slice Pizzeria, which do great slices of pizza with various toppings, or the Salty Dog Grill, specializing in burgers, hot dogs, and fries. The World Fresh Marketplace is the ship’s buffet. It’s absolutely huge and offers dishes from all over the world all throughout the day. Be it breakfast, lunch, dinner, and anything and everything in between. There’s plenty of seating arranged out in tables for two, four, six, or even larger groups. And if you’re traveling solo, bar style seating can be found here, too. It’s a huge buffet, and the range and quality of food I thought was good, too. On the rare occasions that I came up here, I just simply preferred the main dining room myself, but families and groups absolutely love the buffet. At the very rear of the ship is the wake view pool where you can enjoy drinks and a swim with a fantastic ocean views out the back. During certain hours of the day, it’s adults only, which is a nice touch. And it’s a fantastic sunset spot, too. [Music] From the wake view pool and bar, we go upstairs to deck 17. Up here is the children’s club, which I didn’t film for obvious reasons. Deck 17’s home to the fitness center, though, which is large and well equipped. It’s perfect for working off all those extra calories that are gained in the dining room. The gym is included, too, and there’s changing rooms and a small studio for classes, which are chargeable. The gym can get busy on C days, so my top tip would be to get up there early before breakfast, do your workout, and then you’ve got the rest of the day to undo all that hard work you’ve just done in the gym by eating cake and drinking all day. Exhibit A, Jetto Joe. A walk along the terrace above the main pools to the front of the ship brings us to the retreat pool. This pool is a bit of a hidden gem as it’s surrounded by some cabins, so you’ve kind of got to go find it. It’s an adults only pool, so it’s much quieter and it has its own bar, too. Upstairs, there’s some extra seating and a few hot tubs as well. This was my favorite place on the ship. It was nice and relaxed and you could always find a sun lounger too. It was just lovely and peaceful. [Music] From the retreat pool, we go upstairs to deck 18 and to the sanctuary. This is an exclusive adults onlyly retreat offering luxurious cabanas, plush lounges, and attentive stewards for personalized service. Set in a tranquil, private area at the front of the ship, it provides a peaceful escape with stunning ocean views and premium amenities. Just be prepared to pay for it, though. Then to the rear of the ship is the center court. This is a multi-use court, perfect for basketball, football, and pickle ball. Surrounding the court is the jogging track, which is marked out in blue on the floor. It’s popular with joggers and morning walkers for getting the steps in, and seven laps of this track equates to a mile. So, if like me, you’re wanting to do your morning 5K, 22 laps will help hit the Straa goals. And that wraps up our complete deckby- deck tour of the beautiful Sky Princess. Whether you’re dreaming of relaxing in the sanctuary, taking in panoramic views from the Wake View Bar, or enjoying worldclass dining and entertainment down in the atrium, this ship truly has something for everyone. 1. Thanks for this succinct tour! Have a cruise on the Sky Princess booked for January '26. Looking more forward to it after your great tour. Thanks!

  2. Very nice, sort, and to the pount! My family and I were on it in January to the Eastern Caribbean. My vision isn't the best and did affect the trip, but it was still a good time.
