Hello everyone. We are Ryuuki and Akane, and we travel anywhere without a driver’s license. This time we’re visiting the quiet and tranquil Kohama Island, located in the center of the Yaeyama Islands. There’s an observation deck in the middle of the island, the straight Sugar Road, and a bright blue beach. It’s a leisurely bike ride around the stunning scenery. We hope it gives you some ideas for day trips from Ishigaki Island. So please read to the end. Turn right on the road in front of you, then go a little further and take the first right. For some reason, I often pass this place by, so be careful. When you see the sugar factory, turn right and climb the hill just before it to reach Mount Ofudaki Observatory. You can’t get in, so if you go through the rotary on the left and head down towards the sea, you can cycle right up to the coast. Let’s go. Wow, that’s amazing. This is the best.
