Welcome back everybody to the perfect walk. My name’s Clint and we are Gosh, we’re in paradise. Check it out. Now Island. Come on, Gimble. Don’t be crazy. Absolutely gorgeous place. I’ve been uh I mean, honestly, I’ve been chilling on the beach. It’s been pretty heavenly. Spent an hour just relaxing, enjoying time alone. Look, it’s a pumpkin. That was in the last walk if you want to see that up close and personal. Uh, now we’re going to walk into the city. There’s a bus, but we will assue the bus in favor of our feet because why wouldn’t we? One more look at this beautiful toy gate. Just gorgeous. And then we’ll go for a a walk. No, she That bus is going to chill for a little bit. He flipped on his out of service light and pulled off the road. It’s break time. Let’s walk. Let’s walk. Let’s walk. Well, if you’re new to the channel everybody and you just found us, this is a weird video to find, but anyway, welcome. We walk all over the world in 30-inute episodes. You’ll get a new video every single week. If that sounds good to you, it sounds good to me. I’ll keep doing it and you can keep watching them. Little bite-size nuggets every week. for you to look forward to. Where will we be next? We’ve been in Japan for a while now, and I hope you’re enjoying seeing a different side of Japan. Maybe places that you don’t see on other channels. Some cool looking hotels here. Ah. Ohana. Ohana means family. This has been the most perfect day for a walk. I’m very much enjoying my time exploring Nashima. Truly a pretty spectacular place. branch. Watch out for falling branch. Looks like there’s a little village over here, but I think I might be able to get there from either way. I hope. I don’t want to miss. I’ll double back if when I come up here I don’t see houses and stuff. I think this is not a giant mountain. I think it’s just a little hill. So, let’s see. When we go around this bend up here, you walk this much, you get pretty good at guessing. And I think this main road is going to go to that same place. No fishing. Oh, that’s the local bus. Yeah. little residential area. It’s almost lunchtime. Not quite. 10:20 The Nshima rice growing project. Huh. Since 2006. That’s pretty cool. Nice area. Think about Yeah, nice little residential area. Spice wander. Interesting restaurant. Probably probably a cool restaurant looking at that sign. Kind of a funky island deal. Oh, here’s a little street into the into this part. Let’s do it. Let’s take Let’s take the path that has presented itself. Oh, yeah. Spice curry wander. That is awesome here. Here’s the restaurant up here. Spice Curry Wonder. Curry Wonder. Probably not open yet. It will be a little bit early, but a cool looking place. You can tell. You can check out the seating, the waiting area. Tomato cream curry with soy milk. Today’s seasonal curry. [Applause] Cool place. Very cool. What is it? Another restaurant right here. Looks like some actual working port buildings. I would say a restaurant right here next to the port would be a pretty delicious situation for seafood. How cool. [Music] little puffer fish. I don’t know if you’ll be able to see them. Oh, there’s a couple right here. [Music] How about that? I see some traps on the boat. So maybe crab. I don’t know what you fish for in the inland sea near Nashima Island. Probably a little bit of everything. Good golly, this restaurant looks cool. I bet it’s delicious. Yeah, I bet it’s delicious. But Still early. Still early. Only 10:30. What I really need is a coffee shop, not a restaurant. Like that would be ideal. I think I could spend a whole week on this island just doing nothing but wandering around, eating good food, looking at art. Like this is not too shabby. Yeah. All right. On we go. Looks like a woodworking shop for show. Looking at the scraps. And this looks like a sandwork shop. Looking at scraps. It looks like we’re going around and up that hill towards those buildings. All right. It’s not a big hill, so no whining. Oh, look at those uh dilapidated buildings out at the end of that jetty. That’s pretty cool. Can’t tell if dilapidated buildings or art installation. Can’t tell if there’s a difference. Maybe it has become an art installation if it wasn’t already. Hello. Hello. Can we walk out there? Eh, looks a little dicey. I mean, obviously there’s a bridge, but uh how to get down and around this part is the tricky bit, and I don’t feel like scrambling today. But that is pretty cool. Maybe uh concrete. Yeah, that looks maybe concrete. I guess maybe at low tide you can get around that, but I just don’t want to scramble today, kids, over those boulders. But that is pretty cool, right? [Music] Once upon a time, I bet this was a much busier spot on the island with that infrastructure out there and two concrete ports or peers or wararfs or jetties. or whatever we’re calling them. Morning. Hello. How cool is that? Yeah, I really like that. Okay, up the hill. That wasn’t a complaint. Everybody is so nice on the island. Lots of hellos, lots of smiles and waves, lots of laughter. It’s good stuff. [Music] Uh do not enter sign is where you get to that pier. That is the way. But we’re not going today apparently and nobody’s been for a while. If this was a different channel, I’d be jumping that and running down there and checking out the urban exploration. Not happening. Not happening. That’s not me. Must have respect. Otherwise, YouTubers will wear out their welcome. disappointing. I am out of waters which I was carrying with me. So a place to get a bottled water would be a good idea. This looks like a condo though, doesn’t it? Like a condo building. Oh, wait a minute. Look at that blue sign. It says coffee. There’s a picture of a roaster on it. Now see my coffee. Oh, come on. That’s so good. Yay. Hopefully a coffee shop. Oh, it is. It’s Oh, it’s great. It’s so good. It’s so good. Oh, please have a view. It does. It has a view. [Music] Heat.

Naoshima Island looks beautiful 🙂Thank you for sharing this walk in the beautiful surtpundings Wander🙂👍!!!
Magnificent countryside and seemingly endless variations of the Japanese architectural approach may occasionally take my breath away, but it doesn't seem to impede my written expression. Once again, a very enjoyable walk! Thank you.
