バンコク一日旅行VLOG🇹🇭 ショッピング、屋台グルメ、隠れた寺院、空港情報

Bangkok, official name Krung Thep Maha Nakhon, is the capital of Thailand and, with a population of over eleven million inhabitants, by far its largest city. Its high-rise buildings, heavy traffic congestion, intense heat, humidity and naughty nightlife may not immediately give you the best impression — but don’t let that mislead you. It is one of Asia’s most cosmopolitan cities with magnificent temples and palaces, authentic canals, busy markets and a vibrant nightlife that has something for everyone. Sawadee krub! I am back in Bangkok the city that never fails to surprise me from the bustling streets to the hidden food stalls and of course the amazing temples markets and local eats this time I am taking you on a full day exploration exploring the best food, iconic sights and a little of the beaten track fun all while navigating Bangkok like a local grab your passports bring your appetite and let’s dive into the heart of Thailand capital city, Bangkok but before that this is a long road trip across Thailand I start all the way from Chiang Mai in the north all the way down to Bangkok, I begin in Chiang Mai Thailand’s second largest city but instead of heading straight south I make a detour into the northeast the Issan region the first stop Loei, from there I continue eastwards to Udon Thani I hide inside a shopping mall in Udon Thani (to escape the heat) before heading to the Udon Thani bus Terminal at night and then bought another overnight bus bound for Bangkok and that completes my journey almost 1200 kilometre across Thailand on two overnight buses all the way to the capital city Bangkok finally I have reached Bangkok I have just arrived at Mochit Bangkok north bus Terminal Mochit bus Terminal is one of the three major bus Terminals in Bangkok and among the three bus Terminal Mochit is the biggest it is a giant transportation hub that connects Bangkok to almost the entire northern half of Thailand time now is just before 6 AM in the morning and the first city bus have not started operating yet I am taking you around this maze of shops and passageways Mochit bus terminal runs 24 by 7 I have been at Mochit almost a dozen times and I still get lost every single visit especially when the shops open and people start flooding this narrow walkway this is pure chaos even the GPS struggles to work inside the labyrinth if we are transferring from an intercity bus to the local city bus like myself I have to weave through it all. Mochit is not just a terminal it is a little city of its own eventually I found my way to the city bus terminal and hop onto a bus heading straight for Bangkok central the bus fare just 17 Baht this is insanely cheap compared to the subway however the bus ride was rigorously rickety and instantly brought back memories of the old buses from my childhood days here’s my personal tip I only take these local buses late at night or during dawn and dusk that’s when Bangkok traffic is still not awake you do not want to be stuck in an infamous Bangkok jam here don’t say I never warn you in less than 20 minutes with almost zero traffic I reached the heart of Bangkok this place needs no introduction. We are now at central world this is the central region of Bangkok I am now on Ratchadamri Road the city most famous shopping district you can’t get any more central than this this is where all the big shopping malls converge the only reason why I am here every year is to pray the Four Face Buddha right here you will find central world and the massive Big C supermarket and just a little further down Siam Paragon and Siam square this forms Bangkok ultimate shopping playground this is Bangkok Samyan-Chula the neighbourhood where I am staying in this trip this district is just next to the Chulalongkorn university and it is a vibrant student friendly area where one can still find old school eateries modern cafe art space this place blends old Bangkok charm with new creative energy I have always had a soft spot for Thai porridge not because it’s fancy but because it brings me back memories from 15 years ago in Mae Hong Son so there’s menu in Chinese, okay ah one every time I see a porridge store it feels like a little ritual, I just have to stop for a bowl my porridge is here so this is a meatball porridge with freshly fresh eggs this morning one shop caught my eyes, simple warm Comforting, the best way to start my day let me taste the crunchiness very crunchy with porridge at 55 Baht it didn’t disappoint if only they have fried dough stick and hot coffee to go with that would make my breakfast perfect and here’s my guilty pleasure the Meiji yogurt drink I can drink this every single day in Thailand sometimes even 3 times a day it has become my little holiday obsession I am walking into my hotel this is the hotel that I booked 80 percent of my trip here I stay in this hotel so this place has got lots of memories and also my good luck is here for over 20 years this spot has been my Bangkok home hello Sawadee krub! I got a hotel reservation it’s more than a stay it’s a privilege and a tradition for me while most of my friends skip hotel here but nothing stops me from returning and after two full nights without a shower finally it’s time to freshen up wash off the journey and feel human again, catch you later this is the reason I come back to Bangkok every single year the Four Face Buddha Phra Phrom unlike most statues Phra Phrom is a seated cross legged with four faces and eight arms each face represents something we all seek in life love compassion joy and charity right here at the busy intersection of Ratchadamri Road and Rama one road stands one of Bangkok’s most sacred shrines the Four Face Buddha is a place that needs no introduction to visitors from Southeast Asia and even as far as northern Asia for me coming here has been my tradition it is where I pause, reflect and pray every visit to Bangkok feels incomplete without this moment it grounds me and reminds me why I return just a few hours after landing in Bangkok I find myself at the familiar crossroads where Ratchadamri Road meets Rama I Road this is Bangkok’s shopping central I have stood on this bridge more than twenty times but sometimes the chaos the noise and the crush of people these are simply too much and yet right here squeezed between Siam Paragon and central world is a place almost everybody walks past but almost no one walks into this is Wat Pathum Wanaram built in the year 1857 as a Royal Temple Wat Pathum Wanaram is wrapped by high white wall and yet it is free to enter the moments you step inside, Bangkok feels like a different world the city noise melts away monks chant softly in the distance it is hard to believe this calm exists just steps away from Bangkok busiest shopping belts but beware of scams some people outside may say this temple is close to trick you into going elsewhere most visitors stop at the main hall but if you walk further in you will find Sala Phra Ratchasattha A quiet Pavilion at the Temple’s core few visitors ever discover the spot if you have been here let me know in the comments I would love to hear your experience here it is the legendary Jeh-O The only Michelin bib restaurant in Bangkok serving instant noodles I show up 2 hours before their official 17:30 pm opening, still when I go there my queue number it was 76 that means 75 people in front of me were even more kiasu (scare of losing) than me it is only 3:30 PM and I got a reservation at 4 o’clock when it opens and my reservation number is 76 Oh my god oh okay at least I got a reservation meantime I still have got 30 minutes to kill so I pop into an air-conditioned dessert place while waiting for my turn, I hide inside MIXUE for cold drink waiting for the restaurant to be open just a few doors away then dash back to join the madness when the door finally open it is like a stampede everyone rushing for seats I squeeze in with the first batch yippee and knowing what to order that make me Jeh-O their very first customer of the day it turns out that this is the famous one yeah okay one person oh food arrives, at first glance you might think this is just glorified instant noodles but the whole ritual includes waiting early, racing for seats watching food streams out of the kitchen is like a wedding banquet somehow turn this meal into something much bigger this is food theatre the tom yum broth is loaded with lemongrass and eggs but the real superstar is the crispy roast pork the siu yok (roasted pork) hands down this siew yok is one of the best I have tried anywhere one massive bowl later I was so full that I had to lie flat as I walk out of the restaurant the crowd outside had just grown bigger and this Japanese proverb hits me “a wise man climbs Mount Fuji once, only a fool climbs it twice” that’s exactly how I feel about Jeh-O it is a once a lifetime instant noodle adventure for me been there done that after a hearty meal at Jeh-O I hop onto the BTS Sukhumvit line and headed north the one-way BTS ticket costs 43 Baht I alighted at Ha Yaek Lat Phrao took exit 4 and walk past a giant Lotus supermarket and then boom I am now at Jodd Fairs, I purposely come on a Monday that’s because I want to avoid the weekend crowd so let’s see whether there’s a lot of people here let’s go right in front of me is one of Bangkok newest night markets back then it is marked by a giant Disney like castle sticking up above the trees this is Jodd Fairs Danneramit also known as the train night market Danneramit Bangkok has no shortage of night markets from Riverside Asiatique to the world famous Chatuchak but if you love Bangkok street food at night you will want to check out this new kid on the block just don’t confuse it with the original Jodd Fairs at Rama 9 this is the second one opened in April 2023 so without taking too much time from taking all these pictures let’s venture into the market when you first step inside you are greeted by a massive fairytale like castle Fun fact: this used to be Thailand very first theme park Magic land opened in the year 1970s the park has since long gone but the Disney like castle remains the best part of it, entry is free and you can even climb up two floors for balcony views over the market down below you will find rows of street food fashion stores restaurants and bars what makes Jodd Fairs Danneramit stands out isn’t just the food it is the vibe, the whole place feels like a Retro American town old Cadillac cars Vintage gas tank, water towers Neon lights is like Bangkok meets Route 66 of course no Bangkok night market visit is complete without food one stall that pulls the biggest crowd was Leng Zapp Volcano Ribs picture this: braised pork ribs stacked like a mountain from single serving to double XL towers definitely an Instagram moment and a dish to share with friends thank you it’s so hot that I have to order an ice cream there is even a boating lake with outdoor seating a perfect spot to enjoy your food while soaking in the night’s atmosphere but here’s the truth, as cool as the theme is, many of these stores feel similar to other Bangkok night markets, honestly I have lost count of how many night markets they are here big or small the competition is cutthroat, still Jodd Fairs Danneramit attempts the extra flair with the Castle And the Retro vibe and the overall experience if you are exploring Bangkok at night this one is worth a visit I am now at Patpong night market one of Bangkok most iconic night markets for those who have visited Bangkok in the good old days this place is legendary Patpong night market is easily reachable via BTS Sala Daeng or MRT Silom and it is a short walk from either station back in its prime Patpong wasn’t just about shopping it was a hub for nightlife, controversy and excitement known for the go-go bar, street shows and the red-light district vibe that makes it thrilling but definitely not family friendly those were the days when the night market was a wild buzzing hotspot full of energy and neon lights today Patpong is a bit more subdued but still vibrant you can find a variety of goods like clothing bags souvenirs and even knockoff tech accessories all catered to tourists while I observe shopping may be quieter than the heydays Patpong night market still has that lively Bangkok night vibe spilling into the alleys the area still keeps its nightlife edge where you can find go-go bars massage parlors and nightclubs lining the streets giving the market an atmosphere that is lively colourful and unmistakably Patpong another brand-new day in Bangkok and I am starting my morning on Ratchadamri Road this street is featured a few times in this video already today I am heading north to Pratunam the famous Hub for food fashion and trade and just a few blocks from the Ratchadamri junction the city starts to transform you can see the transition from the glossy flashy buildings to the slightly more chaotic energy of Bangkok trading streets where cars zipping by, vendor setting up and the city slowly waking up did you know Bangkok was once called the Venice of the east? there are over 1500 kilometres of canal crisscrossing this city carrying stories most tourists never see right here in the city centre is Saen Saep Canal here offers a slice of Bangkok hidden waterways most people just pass by in their cars never slow down to notice its charm this place might not be on postcards walls its wall is weathered by time Graffiti lining the banks and sometimes a less than perfect aroma but that’s exactly why it’s worth a stop, it’s raw real and completely authentic there are canals taxi flying up and down these waters offering a fast and scenic route through Bangkok however my schedule is packed today so I saved the boat ride another time, trust me this is on my list for a proper adventure for you guys soon next up Pratunam market which literally means “water gate” this is Thailand largest clothing market spread across alleys, sois and multiple shopping complexes it is famous for wholesale price clothes and endless stores lining the streets I start my exploration at Platinum fashion mall one of the most prominent shopping centres in the Pratunam area honestly the markets can be a little overwhelming if you try to see everything in one go but wandering through its alley and floor is part of the charm from budget fashion to unique finds this place has something for everybody if you love fashion Platinum fashion mall is your ultimate shopping paradise think of it this way, if Chatuchak Weekend Market is all about bargain under the sun Platinum mall is an air-conditioned cousin open seven days a week this is not just anymore it is a wholesale fashion heaven with over 2000 shops from trendy clothes, shoes bags and accessories everything here is sold at wholesale prices obviously the more you buy the more you save buy three items or more and your shopping spree turns into a real bargain platinum fashion mall isn’t just for locals it is a hot spot for tourists and resellers Whether you are here to update your wardrobe or hunt for business stock this place has it all if fashion is your thing and you love good deals without the sunburn Platinum fashion mall in Pratunam should definitely be on your Bangkok itinerary I am in Pratunam but not for the shopping this time round I am all about the food I usually go for the famous wonton noodle here but just look at the queue there is no way I am going to wait that long so I ditched the long queue line and went next door, no queue just a quick fix the Wonton noodle came in at a very tiny portion small enough that I could almost deep throat in in one scoop the noodle is lightly coated in sesame oil simple and subtle some may even call it bland but I like it since the portion was little I could fit in almost another meal back-to-back next up I order a plate of pork trotter rice “zhu jiao fan” oh the pork trotter it just melts into your mouth the gravy again is a bit too light for my taste though I still prefer the richer gravy version from the Singapore or Malaysia the meal costs 145 Baht sometimes less portion is more, having a small portion offer me a quick and tasty and satisfying experience it is perfect for hopping to the next food spot now time to leave Bangkok and head home but first let’s talk about the cheapest way to get from the city centre to Suvarnabhumi airport the fastest and the most budget friendly option must be the airport rail link “ARL” the airport link starts at Phaya Thai station which connect itself directly to the BTS sky train so if you are staying around Siam Pratunam Sukhumvit, or Silom you can easily hop on the BTS and transfer to the ARL at the Phaya Thai or Makkasan station from where I am staying, I first take the BTS to Phaya Thai then switch to the ARL the ticket just cost 45 Baht or 120 US dollar from Phaya Thai to Suvarnabhumi it’s a super budget friendly compared to taking a taxi the airport line runs from Phaya Thai to Ratchaprarop to Makkasan to Ramkhamhaeng, Hua Mak Ban Thap Chang

Lat Krabang before reaching Suvarnabhumi airport there is a nonstop journey which takes 26 minutes but if you bought the train that stops all station the journey takes 30 to 35 minutes the airport rail link departs every 10 to 15 minutes from 6 AM to midnight making it super convenient for early and late flights the airport link terminates directly under the airport terminal at the basement level from here just take the escalator or lift up to the departure hall on level four this one boarding pass okay your membership is already in the cabin thank you thanks a lot at the check in counter the staff are always super friendly I got my boarding pass in no time and before you even leave Thailand the airport gives you a taste of Thai mythology what’s in front of me is the Hindu depiction of the churning of the ocean of milk that is truly a sight to see before you board your flights Thank you so much for watching this video all the way to the end I really hope you enjoy exploring Bangkok with me from the bustling city streets to the airport journey and everything in between if you like this video please give it a thumbs up, drop a comment below to share your thoughts and travel tips and do not forget to subscribe to uncle go travelling channel so you won’t miss out the next adventure every like comment and subscription really helps this channel grow and I appreciate your support stay tuned because the next destination is just round the corner and I’ll see you in the next city
