NSX Japan Camping Trip: Day 52 Hello, Japan ! I’m camping around Japan in my NSX. This trip started at Tomakomai Port in Hokkaido, circled Hokkaido, and then headed south through the Tohoku region . I’m currently traveling mainly from the Kanto region to the Chubu region with my dog, Rin. This time, I arrived in Achi Village in Nagano Prefecture . If you enjoyed this video, please like, comment, and subscribe. Hello again , from Soba Restaurant Onihira Main Branch . This is jtripnsx. Thank you for watching. If you’re new here, I hope you ‘ll join me. This time, I came to Ginga Momiji Campground to see the starry sky. A local recommended the Onihira Main Branch, and it was a tourist paradise . The shop had everything delicious. They also serve delicious soba noodles inside, so I asked the staff for permission to relax for a while. Next time, I’ll eat soba noodles inside . Thank you for stopping by. I’ve procured some great ingredients, so I’ll head to the campground. My destination is about a 10-minute drive from here, but the road is an easy mountain pass. It was amazing. Just to be safe, I’ll use a map to show you the route to our destination. Current location: 11 minutes (8.7 km). Today’s destination: National Route 153. Let’s continue with the Q&A segment we started last time, driving around the NSX . First, a comment from @user….gt2x. Thank you. Tell us about your most memorable outdoor fishing experience. I always enjoy it. I have very little fishing experience, but my brother loves fishing, and we’ve gone fishing together in Shizuoka Prefecture several times, from night to day. I’ll tell you about that experience. The fishing spot was a rocky shore. We didn’t have any comfortable gear, and the ground was all uneven, so we had to fish without sleeping. Of course, even in places where it was impossible to come back alive if we fell, the excitement of catching something and the exhilaration of catching a big one were incredible. My brother said there was a perfect timing for catching fish, and he prepared all the equipment, so all we had to do was cast and fish. I’ve caught a sea bream over 30 cm and a mackerel about 30 cm long. Sea bream (great porgy) run really fast and have a strong pull. I remember the bargaining was a lot of fun, and what’s even more fascinating is that the size of the sea bream I caught gradually increased. Once I started catching them, I remember catching so many that it was almost ridiculous. As a side note, while swimming near tetrapods on Sado Island with a spear , I spotted a group of sea bream swimming around, forming a line and watching me the whole time. Even when I tried to get close, they would quickly run away, making it impossible to get close. I thought it was impossible to spear a sea bream . At the same time, I began to realize that fish are intelligent, and it seems that rock bream can do tricks if trained properly . Of course, fish are alive, too. Without intelligence, they can’t survive, and I eat them. I’m just grateful for life. So that’s the story of my fishing and outdoor adventures. Next, I’ll move on. Has your wife been appearing on the show lately? Thank you for your comment, 4480. She hasn’t been appearing recently. But she’s doing great. Wife: She told me to follow Rin-chan on Instagram! ^^ Rin’s Instagram account is listed in the description! My wife manages Rin’s Instagram, so please check it out. I might even film another camping video someday as a family memory. By the way, when I have time while traveling, I video chat with her, and we buy local produce and eat it together as a family! This time, I bought peaches and grapes at Onihira-san. They were delicious! ^^ In my last video, I shared my feelings about anti-comments, and I’d like to thank everyone for their encouraging comments. Critical comments are rare, so don’t worry. I just wanted to share my thoughts in the midst of all those comments. I’m sorry if my intentions were unclear. And then, I received this comment: Everyone is free to have their own opinions. While I’m fine with everyone having their own opinions, I personally agree. I was very happy to hear everyone’s feelings. Well, we’re almost here. Feel free to ask any questions, or even just ask for advice. Fortunately, my videos are watched by people overseas, so they may serve as a platform for sharing a wide range of opinions and thoughts. I look forward to hearing from you. Of course, I will be selecting and including comments in my videos. Thank you for your understanding . We arrived at the campground entrance . The campground is about a 5-minute walk up from here . I was so impressed by the cool photo I got as we passed each other ! Thank you! After checking in, I headed to today’s campsite . There was a Shiba Inu at the reception desk. He occasionally strolls around the grounds, which was adorable . My current location is here . If I continue along the road, I’ll arrive at today’s site, Draco 1. I arrived. Draco 1 Site, Ginga Momiji Campground . I checked in late. Since I’m staying for two nights, I’ll take it easy. But it’s a great place. I’ve wanted to come here for two years. This place is certified as the best place in Japan for stargazing. The autumn leaves are also beautiful, but the manager said that since yesterday’s full moon has obscured the view, so the moonlight will obscure the view… What a shame. I think this year, but he told me that mid-September or later is the best time to go. It was sunny today, and I was really hoping for it . But camping with the NSX and Rin in the clean air and nature is a perfect score for me. I’ll turn off the kill switch. This time, I used a Habisol tent. I connected a Murako Octa 4 tarp to it, which will make the inside of the tent more comfortable. ☆I’ll list the equipment in the description☆ My pump (FLEX TAIL’s MAX PUMP 3) unexpectedly broke. The product has a two-year warranty. It hadn’t been a year, so I contacted customer support, sent them proof of purchase, and they sent me a new one. This time, I managed to inflate it with my breath, even though I was oxygen-deprived… It was quite a monumental task , lol. I chose a Murako tarp, which allows for a bonfire inside the tarp in case of rain, but it turned out I didn’t need to today. It got dark all of a sudden… Now, time for dinner. Today, I had a large saury and soba noodles. I added grated daikon radish, added a little salt , and turned up the heat a little. I’d like to have some myself. Usually, saury is fatty and delicious , but the guts are… but this saury was full of flavor, with minimal bitterness. I’d love to grill it on a charcoal grill every day. I thought it would be drinkable like the grape happoshu juice I bought at Onihira , but it was surprisingly only 9% alcohol. But it didn’t have any strange taste and was easy to drink. Rin: Enough with that action, let’s hurry up and make the noodle soup for the next sanma soba . Add Yasumaru dashi (Japanese style) to 400cc of water, 100cc of soy sauce, and 100cc of mirin . Bring to a boil and wait 5 minutes for a slightly thicker, richer dipping sauce to be completed. It’s richer and tastier than commercially available dipping sauces . I also grated some grated daikon radish. Note: Rin has already eaten a whole large sanma . Onihira’s fresh soba noodles made with 100% buckwheat flour. Boil one portion in a large amount of hot water for a little over a minute , stir just a little, then rinse the boiled soba noodles in cold water . Remove the soba noodles from the cold water and dip them in the soup. This is also very delicious. The scent of the buckwheat flour is subtle, but It doesn’t have the bitter taste of dried noodles, and is soft enough that you can eat as much as you want. I could easily eat two servings. I’m having soba soup . The water used to boil the soba noodles and the remaining homemade dipping sauce… I honestly want to put them in a thermos and drink them. The weather is also perfect. Autumn camping is the best. I wish it was autumn forever, but before, when autumn came around, I felt a sense of loneliness. That’s right, maybe it’s since I became an adult… I no longer feel that loneliness in autumn. Maybe it’s since I started working. When I get busy, I don’t notice the dry air or the quietness of nature, or maybe I just get used to it…or maybe my senses have dulled…I don’t know. This is what the sky looks like now. I came out from under the tarp to look at the stars. I’m sure it would have been even more beautiful without the moon. I ‘ll come back and see them again. Next year. Peaches are also expensive, but they looked delicious, so I bought some. Actually, I’m allergic to pineapples? I’m a little scared of eating anything from the rose family , and when I was little, I would vomit and it was a real pain, but now I’m okay with a small amount of pineapple, so I bought some delicious peaches from Nagano. I’m a little scared, though, so I’ll wait and see. I did n’t eat the red part because it tasted bitter. I’m really scared, but this one is very juicy and delicious. I just think the bitter parts are more likely to cause symptoms. I have no evidence for this, so please act like I never heard that . Tomorrow, I’ll spend the day relaxing with Rin. I’ll fall asleep listening to the audiobook “National Treasure.” I hope I don’t get sick . Good night, good morning. I’m feeling great. I promised to buy some peaches as a souvenir. Rain was forecast yesterday, but it was sunny, so I walked with Rin around the nearby hot spring town in the morning. We relaxed here from noon, and there was a monkey there too. It kept watching me. After a while, it went back into the forest . Rin ate some food. I had coffee. It was stormy all night. I wonder if the rain will stop today? I’ll drink it while looking at the scenery outside. Suddenly, the rain stopped. If it stays steady, I’ll be happy to pack up. I’ll eat breakfast and watch the weather progress. I’ll make breakfast. The clouds are thinning. I’ll use the leftover rice from yesterday. Yesterday, I had 150g of Shinshu beef and rice for dinner while listening to National Treasure. I was so happy . I’ll eat the wasabi tea rice with sea bream I bought in the hot spring town, with hot water , soy sauce , and wasabi. It’s delicious! So delicious! Thank you for the meal. I’m packing up now. I’ll adjust the tarp poles so they don’t fall over the NSX. It’s been a while since I last used a Murako tarp, and it was great. I’m packing up the tent. Rin doesn’t seem to want to leave the tent. Packing up is complete. I ‘m heading home. Rin always walks heavy when she comes home from camping. I think camping is like a reward for her . Thank you very much for watching until the end. If you enjoyed this video, please like, comment, and subscribe. See you in the next video! Bye-bye ^^

  2. Hello! Could you please tell me if you visited any track days or something like that on your NSX?

  9. Ohio! Jptripnsx, I have been following your channel since the beginning. What camera do you use for filming? I am hoping to film my trips in my Suzuki jimmy. Do you have any tips? Your videos always look so professional 😊😊

  11. 😂 so relaxing I actually fell asleep a couple times! The rain noise gets me everytime! ❤️ Another beautiful video. I like the Q&A while driving and, well, pretty much everything about your videos 👌🙌

  12. Filming a video alone whilst driving and camping with a dog, is very hard work. Editing for our enjoyment, is also hard work. There is no other YouTuber that travels around Japan with an NSX and dog. Then you for all your hard work. I love your videos.

  14. Eyyy, my comment at 7:20 speaking facts ❤
Keep up the awesome trips, wish i could go to Japan as fast as possible. I really want to do a 2-3 months trip camping and also do track visits like tsukuba & suzuka circuit etc.

    Life Goal ❤

  15. it’s so hard to read when english subtitles are written over japanese 😢
could you please not have japanese subtitles as part of the video itself?
