This time, we visited the incredibly realistic world of “Kirby’s Dream Land”! Enjoy this relaxing time. This time, we’re heading to the Kirby Cafe at Daimaru Department Store in Osaka. It’s in the same area as the Pokémon Cafe. It’s already so cute!! Kirby Cafe Osaka opened in November 2024. Kirby Cafes are also in Tokyo and Fukuoka. Since we have time before our cafe reservation, we’ll buy goods at the Kirby Store first. Anyone can enter the Kirby Store without a reservation. The goods include lunch boxes, water bottles, bags, and other items perfect for everyday use. The merchandise is so stylish I want everything… Inside the store, you’ll find lots of Kirby goods and original cafe-exclusive items you can only get here. Even if you can’t visit the store, you can purchase the goods online, so be sure to check them out. The Kirby Cafe magnets are so cute… I’ll buy one set of these. Also bought Kirby and Waddle Dee wearing chef hats. Kirby capsule toys are also available in the store. I’ll try the limited-time Kirby gacha collaboration with Hankyu Railway. I wonder what I’ll get~? It’s Niconico Kirby! I’m so happy because it was already sold out at other stores. Right next to the Kirby Store is the Kirby Cafe, which opened around the same time. “Kirby Cafe The Store Osaka” Kirby and Waddle Dee greet you at the entrance. Kirby Cafe operates on a reservation system, but walk-ins are possible if space is available. Upon entering the cafe, start with a commemorative photo! Kirby Cafe is the dream cafe opened through the combined efforts of Kirby and Waddle Dee. Oh! It’s Whispy Woods! He’s usually Kirby’s enemy, but here he’s working hard as a staff member watching over the cafe. Everyone looks happy eating and picking apples under Whispy Woods. Kirby and friends line the walls too. At the cafe, Waddle Dees busily cook and work hard. Kirby serves as the “snack-taster,” offering cute hospitality. The shop design varies by location, so you can enjoy the interior decor too. Kirby characters in an Osaka-exclusive design are even on the windows! Head Chef Kawasaki is also watching over things. Now, let’s introduce the Kirby Cafe menu. The menu features Osaka-exclusive dishes and limited-time items, offering a variety of flavors to enjoy. We visited during the day, but the Kirby Burger was already sold out. The other menu items are also packed with Kirby’s world, making it really hard to decide what to order! Please note that the Kirby Cafe has a time limit of 85 minutes. As it’s a popular spot, orders are taken all at once in one go. Currently, the Kirby Cafe Summer 2025 limited-time menu is available. The menu is also cute with a summer design. We are also offering a limited-time menu themed after ‘Kirby’s Dream Land Nintendo Switch 2 Edition’. While waiting for the food, let’s open the magnet I bought earlier. The Kirby Cafe food magnet set contains all 5 types. After opening the box, another small box appeared. Opening it reveals… Cute Chef Kirby appears! The other magnets are also realistic and adorable! “Waddle Dee’s Best Friend Rice Croquette” 🇯🇵¥1800 It’s themed around the friendly Waddle Dees taking a break in Whispy Woods. “Kirby’s Super-Suck! Kushikatsu” 🇯🇵¥1,400 Kirby’s mouth is full of kushikatsu! This Osaka-exclusive kushikatsu set will satisfy even the biggest foodies. Even the knives and forks served with your meal are Kirby-themed for added cuteness. So cute! Inside Whispy Woods’ head are fruit yogurt and salad dressing. Even the tableware faithfully recreates Kirby’s world, making it feel truly real! The dressing contains grated apples. The vegetables are vibrantly colored, making it easy to see why Waddle Dees would take a break here. Sorry to the resting Waddle Dees, but I’m going to enjoy this. The rice croquettes are freshly fried! Crispy and delicious! The kushikatsu Kirby sucked up contains freshly fried chicken breast cutlets and vegetables designed to look like shooting stars. Here, double-dipping sauce is totally fine. These are spring rolls and octopus-shaped sausages. All different kinds of kushikatsu skewers are included. It’s packed with volume, so it’s perfect for sharing and enjoying together. Next to Kirby is a star block omelet. Can you actually eat this!? An incredibly cute Waddle Dee is taking a nap! Kirby’s latte art is also incredibly well done! “Waddle Dee’s Nap Omelette Rice” 🇯🇵¥1,980 It’s a perfect recreation of the magnet! Too cute… Waddle Dee is taking a peaceful nap on a fluffy egg pillow. I’ll take it gently so as not to wake Waddle Dee. Art Collection au Lait (with Mug) 🇯🇵¥2,180 Choose from 10 art designs and select your drink flavor: café au lait, chocolate, or strawberry. The chocolate is super delicious! For sweets, I ordered the limited-time “Kirby’s Discovery” cake. They’re making it right now. This cake is a special dessert recreating the cake that appears in the Kirby’s Dream Land Discovery game. It takes quite a while to make, so it’s available in limited quantities. Even from a distance, you can clearly see its adorable shape! “Transform! Car-Shaped Cake – Sparkling Meteor Ver.” 🇯🇵¥2,720 The level of detail is so incredible it’s beyond words. Kirby Cafe must be crazy busy, yet they maintain this quality. It’s truly amazing. The Kirby transformed into a car, meticulously crafted down to its feet, is truly adorable! Sponge cake layered with fruit, coated in strawberry-flavored blancmange. It feels soft and squishy when you press it. The tires are recreated with chocolate and cheese. The taste and appearance are both of exceptionally high quality. The blue jelly represents the shooting stars from the new “Starlight World” story added to Kirby’s Dream Land Discovery. The shooting stars are expressed with sparkling jelly and konpeito candy, with blueberry sauce and aloe yogurt underneath. Original goods are also sold at the entrance to Kirby Cafe. The latest game, ‘Kirby’s Dream Land Discovery Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Starry World’, is also available for purchase. Limited edition items are selling well. It was a thoroughly satisfying time, completely immersed in Kirby’s world. The register area is also filled with Kirby and friends, making checkout time feel like pure happiness. Kirby, Waddle Dee: “Thank you for your purchase!” Actually, there’s another Kirby Cafe in Osaka specializing in takeout sweets. Kirby Cafe PETIT｜Tennoji Mio Store Kirby Cafe PETIT is a takeout sweets specialty shop born from Kirby Cafe. This shop is a special location found only in two places: Tokyo and Osaka! The interior decorations are specially designed for “Kirby Cafe PETIT,” allowing you to enjoy a world unique to this location. Kirby in a chef’s hat and Waddle Dee in a uniform identical to the shop staff are working here. Some merchandise sold here is exclusive to “Kirby Cafe PETIT,” so be sure to check it out. This tower is inspired by the Dream Fountain from Popstar, the kingdom featured in the Kirby series. The keychains and badges are so cute~! For takeout, you can purchase drinks and sweets. The menu is completely different from the Kirby Cafe we saw earlier! No reservation is needed for dine-in orders, but popular cakes sell out quickly, so arriving early is recommended. Besides cakes, they also have star-shaped bread and cute apple pies. So, time to introduce the cake I bought back in my room! When you buy a cake, they include a cooling pack that keeps it fresh for about 2 hours. Oh! So cute~!! “Kurumahobari Cake” PETIT 🇯🇵¥1100 This is the shop’s most popular cake. It’s a petite version of the cake I just had at Kirby Cafe. The flavor is the same as Kirby Cafe’s: strawberry blancmange. You can enjoy Kirby at home without going to the cafe. “Maxim Tomato Chocolate Chiffon Cake” 🇯🇵¥680 This is a new cake recommended by the staff. A chiffon cake filled with chocolate cream, topped with a macaron shaped like a Maxim Tomato. It’s the Maxim Tomato, familiar from Kirby’s games, packed with energy! “Suck-Up Star Drink Wadwado Carnival” (with Kirby mascot) 🇯🇵¥920 You can choose from four drink flavors: Waddle Dee, Kirby, Meta Knight, and King Dedede. When you drink it, it looks like Kirby is sucking it up—so cute. “Kirby’s Strawberry Pudding” 🇯🇵¥880 The shop’s second most popular item, a strawberry pudding with an adorable container. “Kirby’s Obsessed! Pupu Tiramisu” Cup included 🇯🇵¥1450 A delicious tiramisu even Kirby can’t resist diving into. A sweet treat with just the right bitterness and incredibly tasty. Both shops offer outstanding quality and flavor, so be sure to stop by when you visit Osaka!
