戸越八幡神社例大祭は、毎年9月の第2土日曜に催されます。露天商も多く出店。3年に一度の本祭では宮神輿が渡御し、それ以外の年には一部町会で町神輿の連合渡御が組まれます。
2025年は3年に一度の本社神輿渡御が開催される本祭の年です。9月12日〜14日の3日間にわたり、品川区の秋を代表する伝統的なお祭りが繰り広げられます。神聖な大祭式で幕を開け、境内では迫力満点の戸越太鼓や優雅な浦安舞、軽快なお囃子など、多彩な奉納演芸が披露されます。町中を威勢よく巡行する神輿の姿は圧巻で、地域の絆と活気を象徴する盛大な祭典となります。

Togoshi Hachiman Shrine’s Annual Festival is held annually on the second Saturday and Sunday of September. Many street vendors also set up stalls. The main festival, held once every three years, features a procession of the shrine’s mikoshi, while in other years, some neighborhood associations organize joint processions of town mikoshi.
2025 is the year of the main festival, when the main shrine mikoshi procession, held once every three years, takes place. This traditional autumn festival, representing Shinagawa Ward, will unfold over three days, September 12-14. The festival kicks off with a sacred grand ceremony, followed by a variety of performances within the shrine grounds, including the powerful sound of Togoshi Taiko drums, the graceful Urayasu dance, and lively music. The sight of the portable shrines vigorously parading through the town is a spectacular sight, making this a grand festival that symbolizes the bonds and vitality of the community.
