【スイスひとり旅】物価高のスイスでホテル代を節約するとこうなります。ドミトリー滞在レポ|50代1人旅

Even though I’m here for business, I’m staying in a dormitory. It’s so cool! Swiss trains have restaurants! It’s 12 minutes to the central station . I think I can get there without getting lost. If I don’t have a navigation system, I rely on Google. I use Ahamo, which connects instantly to my international SIM card, which is incredibly helpful . This time is for two weeks, so I think I used Ahamo for 15 days. It expires after 15 days, so I’ll make the most of it. It’s like 22 minutes of walking. I have to walk 1.5km. Let’s do our best. I’m sure I can walk this much. I was just thinking, ” This is already the platform. The platform and the tracks are integrated . Amazing. Even if I run along thinking I can’t get on, I can just jump on right here . I really want to ride it.” It feels like night. I feel like I want to cross. It’s okay to cross. This is a pretty big station . I’m almost there. About 12 minutes left. It’s heavy. My luggage is pretty heavy. But I’ve arrived at a place with a nice view . I’ve arrived at a place with a great view. The first challenge of any overseas trip is always, “Go into the city and find a hotel.” I always act like I’ll definitely get there, even if it takes time. But it can’t be helped, since it’s an unfamiliar city. I don’t even know how to buy a ticket. But it helps me remember it better . Cross this traffic light. Almost there, almost there. Trying to get a hotel near the station is incredibly expensive, costing around 30,000 yen a night. It’s surprising. At first, I didn’t have 10,000 yen, so I thought about 15,000 yen, but there aren’t any hotels for 15,000 yen. So, I decided to just stay overnight and stayed at a hostel. But it’s still far away, so I’ll keep walking. Finally, I ‘ve arrived. It’s 7:28 PM. You can choose your own T-shirt for three nights or more. Interesting. Thank you. My luggage is a little heavier now. No choice, I’ll wear pajamas. Cute . We arrived. It’s so hot. We were paired with three people, and there were lockers, but the bathroom was smaller than I expected. It’s fine, since we’re just going to sleep. This is what my room looked like this time. I got my card key, and it looked like this . Since there was no one else in the room, I took a photo. It’s amazing! At hostels, you have to put covers on your own sheets, pillowcases, and futon covers, and they wash them for you, so you have to do it yourself every time. The curtains separate your room, so you have a fair amount of privacy. However, if you turn on the light, the whole room becomes bright, so you have to be careful in the morning. There are lockers like this. It’s pretty spacious , so there’s space to put your suitcase like this. The bathroom isn’t the cleanest, but it’s nice with just the basics, like a hand lamp and an outlet. When you check out, you have to put covers on your futon like this . You also have to peel off all the sheets when you check out. By the way, do you think it costs for three nights? Dormitories usually cost a few thousand yen, but this one is 36,000 yen for three nights, or about 12,000 yen per night. I was looking for a hotel around 15,000 yen, but there weren’t any. Since it was a last-minute stay, I couldn’t find anything. So I stayed in a dormitory this time, and it was a pretty good place. If you have the opportunity, please feel free to use it . You can also talk to the roommates, so if you want to speak English, I recommend staying in a dormitory. This is the advisor’s room, and there’s no one there. It’s just before 6:00, so the rain has just cleared. I think it’s 7:30 or 8:30 in the morning. Breakfast seems to be served. This bread and this might be good to eat. You can leave your belongings in a locker after check-out. The room next door is also quiet, but it’s quite noisy. Everyone, there are lockers here. It’s cute. I don’t often stay in hostels like this as an adult, but this time I really wanted to try it, so I included it in my plan. It’s not just for saving money, but also because it’s a good place to learn more and meet people from different countries. In reality, it wasn’t that great. The other person in my room was nice, but the kitchen is fully equipped with all the dishes. There’s even a microwave. It was dark in the morning, but I ate an apple here . I think the location is amazing. They also keep the bathrooms clean, so I recommend treating it like a hotel. I don’t think it’s a problem, but it would still be a good experience. So, what did you think of this video? It’s been quite a while since I’ve stayed in a dormitory for three nights , so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I chose this place . It’s easily accessible, and although it wasn’t shown in the video, the bathrooms are always clean. It was quite comfortable. They have dormitory rooms, but they also have double rooms, twin rooms, and single rooms, so I think it’s best to choose one that fits your budget. Even though we were in a triple-person room, we were all in one room, so when we had to leave early in the morning , the only light we could rely on was this bedside lamp, which made it a little dark and inconvenient . However, overall, I had a comfortable stay, so I would recommend it. There’s also a bar on the first floor of the hostel , which I didn’t use, but it can be quite noisy , so I recommend bringing earplugs and going to bed early . There was also a six-person women’s dormitory. The more people there are, the more security there is, so I personally think it’s better to stay in a smaller room with fewer people as you get older, even if it costs a little more. I think dormitories are n’t really suitable for people looking for a quieter stay. I booked through Booking.com, but this hostel has an official website, which seems cheaper. The information is in English, but I didn’t check the details, so I ended up walking a long way. I took photos as I went, and it took about 20 minutes to get there. This is the closest one. It’s 350m. I used it often. It’s not too far from the station , and it’s a pretty nice hostel. The rooms are spacious, and they even have lockers. Zurich is very expensive, and even supermarkets are expensive, so having breakfast included is a huge benefit. I hope this video was helpful. The next video will finally start with the sightseeing section, so if you’re interested, I hope you’ll look forward to the re-edited version . Thank you for watching until the end
