Trogir, Croatia 🌼 A Stunning Old Town Drowned in Flowers | 4K Walk
In this video Happy to see you again, my friends! Today I’m inviting you on a magical journey back in time, surrounded by the sea and history. Today we will lost in the charm of Trogir, Croatia — a beautiful old town on the Adriatic Sea. As allways, make sure to switch on subtitles in your language — that way you catch every little detail of my story. Trogir is like an open-air museum on the Croatian coast. Its old town is a UNESCO site, famous for narrow streets and medieval buildings. In its cozy little streets, you’ll find charming restaurants and cafés that invite tourists to relax a little bit and enjoy tasty local food. Trogir is one of the oldest towns in Croatia. That’s why it feels like a living history puzzle — from ancient walls to medieval cathedrals and Venetian palaces. Take a look how the greenery and flowers bring Trogir’s streets to life! They add color and charm to the old stone walls, making the town feel even more magical. Around every corner, there’s a cute little surprise waiting for us — Trogir locals sure know how to keep things interesting! If you’re enjoying the video, hit that like button and subscribe — it really means a lot to me! Now we’re approaching Trogir’s South Gate, built in the 15th century. Once the main entrance for travelers, it still stands today as a symbol of the city’s rich history. Leaving behind the narrow streets, we found ourselves on Trogir’s palm-lined promenade Riva. This is a place where the sea breeze, yachts, and lively cafés create the perfect Mediterranean vibe. Even the schools in Trogir look like palaces! Yes, you heard that right — this is actually a school. By the way, from Trogir you can join yacht tours to the Blue Lagoon, nearby islands like Čiovo, Šolta, or Hvar, and even enjoy sunset cruises. The bell tower of St. Dominic’s Church rises above the promenade and can be seen from afar. How about we slip back into the charming streets of Trogir’s old town? There’s still plenty of interesting things waiting for us. The Church of All Saints in Trogir is a unique place where history and art come together. Its 15th-century walls still carry the spirit of the Middle Ages, while inside you’ll now find a gallery of modern creativity. Look how patiently the four-legged friend waits while his owner chooses a delicious homemade gelato. And here’s another one church spire rising gracefully above the rooftops. Аnother proof that Trogir locals just can’t stop showing off their creativity! It feels like every stone in this town has its own story to tell. As you walk through these streets, you seem to become part of this thousand-year history, doesn’t it? No trip is complete without fun little souvenirs — and Trogir’s got plenty of them waiting for you! On the Dalmatian coast, it’s normal to see lemons growing by the walls or in litlle courtyards. They’re used for fish, seafood, drinks and even sweets. Interesting fact: Trogir is located on an island surrounded by canals, which is why it’s sometimes called the “Little Venice.” Locals are also proud that the very first pharmacy in Europe was opened right here in Trogir. Just look at how the greenery freshens up these old walls. It surely adds a unique charm to these ancient little streets. We’ve slowly reached the promenade again — the air feels fresh here, and the trees invite us with their cool shade. Finally, we’re approaching the main square and historic heart of Trogir — John Paul II Square, where the magnificent Cathedral of St. Lawrence greets us. Here you’ll find the most important landmarks — the Cathedral of St. Lawrence, the Duke’s Palace, the Cipiko Palace, and the old Loggia. The Clock Tower was built in the 15th century as part of St. Sebastian’s Church. It later got its clock, which is now one of Trogir’s landmarks. A modern bride in an ancient church — it’s like time itself pauses to bless the moment with timeless beauty and grace. For centuries thе John Paul II Square was the lively center of town, and now the square is also full of life, but it still keeps its medieval charm today. The Cathedral of St. Lawrence is breathtaking — not only in its grand exterior, but also in the wonders that await inside. Inside the Cathedral you’ll find beautiful stone reliefs — detailed carvings that tell stories from centuries past and give the church its unique character. The Cipiko Palace is a 15th-century noble residence, built for the powerful Cipiko family. It stands right across from the Cathedral of St. Lawrence and is known for its Gothic windows and elegant details. I can’t stop admiring the little charming details that decorate the houses in this town. No wonder such a beautiful city is home to so many talented artists. I feel like they draw their inspiration straight from the sea, the stone streets, and the timeless spirit of Trogir itself. If you enjoyed this video, don’t forget to like and subscribe — I truly appreciate and this leads us to new adventures. Trogir is the a place where every step feels like a story, and the beauty stays with you long after you’ve gone. Ahead of us rises the magnificent Kamerlengo Fortress. It’s a 15th-century Venetian castle, where the city guard once stood, and today it hosts concerts and open-air festivals. From the walls of this fortress, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the sea and the old town. Do you hear this wonderful church bells? Just imagine — these bells once rang over Trogir in distant ages, and now we hear them too. It feels as if their sound weaves together the voices of generations, carrying timeless echoes through the heart of the city. Thank you for watching this video.
