250 Bin Özel – İşte İtiraflarım!

Most people think I’m a millionaire. We finally reached the field. I said, “Deniz, let’s jump in.” “The sound of the sea is so intense, kid.” I’ve experienced periods of depression. I mean, what wouldn’t a life like this do to you? So, this isn’t really a question to ask, but I’ll ask it with a twist. Sezer, are you considering marriage? I’m sure most of the people watching us here right now are . Friends, YouTube is the most difficult part of social media to create content. Who is Emre Belezoğlu, a Belezoğlu like that ? People make fun of me there. Man, this guy has gone crazy, what does he say to someone, and I was like, ” Oh , Sezer, what difference does it make?” I said. “How can I start YouTube?” Like, “Let’s go to a nightclub over there.” He was Turkey’s richest businessman. At the time, we were breaking up with my girlfriend. Is this how you really feel, or are you running away from something? What do you think when you get negative comments? I’m talking about a place where murders happen every day, and we take taxis there. So, if people passing by on the street today ask me, “What’s up, Sezer Collections?” I can tell you for sure: Do you think your failure to find love was related to them or to you? Welcome to our video, friends. For years, you’ve watched Sezer’s content from all over the world on this channel . One thing has remained constant: Sezer’s sincerity, genuineness, and realness. As we’re out and about, people recognize Sezer, and they approach us as if they’re a friend they’ve known for years, like a sibling, and they immediately start chatting. They ask him questions. We’re trying this format today because we want everyone to have this opportunity to ask Sezer questions . I hope I can convey your questions well. Thank you for trusting me with this task. Very well done. They can’t expect such an introduction. It was a fantastic introduction, and you delivered it perfectly. The way you took things from here to there was amazing. Thank you. Hush, girl, just a little. Let Sezer talk. I can almost hear you saying, “Shut up, girl, just a little. Let Sezer talk.” So, if you’re ready, I’ll start with our first question. Sezer, how are you and where are you? I’m doing great. We’re currently in Bali, friends. We’re on an Indonesian island, and happiness, peace , and beautiful days await you there. That’s why I came here. I was actually on a 50-day trip. During those 50 days, I created content. I experienced different experiences in different parts of the world. And finally, it felt like my second home. I’m back in Bali. The reason for this is that Bali feels so good. So, you don’t have to do anything. Rent a motorbike today in Bali and ride it. Explore the forests, wander the rice fields, chat with people, see the community. Those people who do sports, etc. are so great. That’s why we’re in Bali right now. I’ll start with the most frequently asked questions. I’m so glad you’re doing well. Welcome to Bali. Thank you. One of the most frequently asked questions is traveling to so many countries. Isn’t it tiring to shoot content while traveling? It really is. Because before you go to a country , you need to research plane tickets, accommodation, what to do, what to eat, and what activities to do. You also need to learn these things and then blend them together to present them to people. First, you need a [__] voice. Second, you need to get the camera angles right. Third, you need to reach your audience. Think about it this way: you go to a country with great excitement, feeling like you’re involved in something incredible, and you film it. You share a video, and 10 people watch it. Think about it, it’s actually very difficult to maintain motivation. Sometimes you ask, ” How do you maintain motivation?” Those numbers actually give you that motivation. Sometimes, there are realities like this: you go to a country and tell it to someone. A month later, you realize someone else has watched your video and commented on it. They might say, “Look, we watched your video, we went here.” It already provides you with everything. It’s never 100% the money you earn that makes you happy or makes your work better . It’s about contributing to someone else. We need to contribute as we should in every job . So, sometimes your motivation drops. While traveling. You might get tired too, or sometimes there are days when you don’t feel like looking at the camera and talking. In those situations, does benefiting those people hold you back in life? Of course. I mean, there can be times in life when you’re just about to collapse. And then you think, “Oh, let me just shoot. At worst, I’ll be tired for another hour. At worst, I’ll be tired for two. But at least you can watch that video and catch someone who might experience something completely different in their life. Sometimes I used to explain things like this in advance during live broadcasts, I’d say, “There are three of us right now. I’m sure these videos will reach millions in years, but even if there are three of us, I’ll continue doing this. Because there’s a benefit factor here. We continued with that belief. Years ago, I was living in Malta. We do live broadcasts like this. We talk like this with my friends. They’re sitting next to me, having tea. I do live broadcasts too, but on live broadcasts, there are either two or three of us, and I tell it like it’s my world . People make fun of me from there. Man, this guy’s gone completely crazy. While I was saying what he’s telling two people, years later, they finally realized what I was telling him. And when I went to them, Malta said, “Oh my gosh, brother,” “We thought you were crazy, but we were proud of you.” Greetings to them from here too. Last greetings to Özge and Hasan Serhat. If I remember correctly, the last video you shared was about Norway, and someone even commented on it. I’ve been following you for years, and when I first saw the low views, I was very confident that this channel would grow over the years, and I’m so happy and proud to be seeing this now. People actually joined you in that journey, and that’s what I’m saying in our Turkish mindset. They don’t really appreciate it, but there’s a huge audience of your followers who are so proud, honored, and say, “Well done, brother. ” What influence do you think your content sharing had on this audience reaching this point? You’ve touched on a very good point. Because from the person who sees you on the street to the person who comments, well done, brother. I hear a lot of “We’re so happy to finally see you here. ” Thank you for that, by the way. I think the effect of this is this sincerity. In other words, when people see someone they like, in a time when society is always trying to appear cool, they strive to support them. Let me put it this way. Now, let me talk about prominent figures in society. Prime ministers, presidents, successful businesspeople, politicians, perhaps the richest people in Turkey. For example, who was this? Years ago, there was Sagıp Sabancı. He was Turkey’s richest businessman . But he was so beloved, both for his contributions to Turkey and his sincerity. But today, you look at these public figures, these prominent figures, and those who set themselves apart never became very famous or weren’t very well-liked by society. Whoever was genuine, whoever could find something of themselves in society, was always supported and loved by those in society. So, it’s all about sincerity, being present with the times, supporting their ideas, and of course, disagreeing on some issues, but ultimately finding the middle ground. I mean, I look at most influencers right now, and it’s like they’re living a fake life. Even their Instagram stories only feature images of their cool. Dude, don’t you ever cry? Don’t you ever laugh? Have you ever supported football? Have you never done anything in any sport ? Because they only use that place for work , I’m sure when they see you on the street, they’ll say, “Hi, can we take a picture? That guy will either stay or never leave.” But how’s it been with us lately? Hey Sezer, what are you doing? We’ve been hearing things like, “Let’s have a coffee here, let’s play backgammon, let’s go to a nightclub there .” Thanks. Actually, I want to relate this to this. One of the most frequently asked questions is how can I start YouTube? How can I travel, share on YouTube, and earn money from it? The first point, as far as I understand, is to sincerely present yourself there, showing your true self. Sharing. So, when you’re even getting into something systemic or technical, how can people make a living as travelers? Yes, that’s a good point. Most people can’t. The reason they can’t is because they don’t focus on the right thing. So, whoever creates social media will quit if it doesn’t provide any benefit. It will end one day. Because you can inspire to a certain extent. You can continue to be a good person to a certain extent. And there’s a degree of sustainability in this. If you’re a social media creator, if you’re not making money from content, unfortunately, you have to stop at some point. So, while you’re creating a system, you can also be a traveler, or you can sell something, or you can start a new business. When you’re building this, you have to use social media, which I call the oil of the world, very effectively. If you use social media solely as a sales tool, you still won’t be successful. You need to manage social media correctly. Even when you advertise, you have to do it with sincerity. If people pass by on the street and say to me, “What’s up, Sezer Collections?”, we’ve established this in people’s minds. Do you think there’s an age limit for starting this business ? Everyone’s been asking. I’m this age. Can I start at this age? Is it too late? Is there an age limit? I don’t think so. Sometimes, there are many different questions about this age. Can I learn English at this age? Can I go on a world tour at this age? Can I make a living on social media at this age? You could imagine a life without age. So, I’m 33 today, but even if I’m 44 , if I can keep up with the current generation, if I can care about what the current community thinks and know how to contribute to them, I don’t think it has anything to do with age. Years ago, when I was studying at Lokum in Malta in 2018, a 62-year-old woman, our sister or aunt, was taking classes with us . She had come from Spain to learn English. We also had a 55-year-old friend who came from Russia. So, there’s no age limit for anything, folks. It doesn’t matter where you start. It’s important to start now. Everything is hidden in the moment. Never act 100% thinking about the future. If you evaluate correctly now, the future will come into being in the right way. Don’t worry. This conversation is actually a bit like the questions I normally ask Caesar . That’s why I’m mixing your questions with my own. But there’s another question here. We know you manage 34 companies. You also share content on Instagram and YouTube every day. How do you do it? I don’t know either. I really keep up. Every morning you wake up or every night before you go to bed, my video is probably in front of you. This was something I really wanted. To use the power of social media to sell my ideas to people and move the business forward accordingly. Thankfully, the business has grown thanks to your support. But managing this is entirely a team effort. Working with the right partners, the right people, and being able to run the operation online . Because of the three businesses I’ve done, one runs entirely online. One runs on people, and the other is thanks to the right team and partners you’ve built. So, without my partners today, I’d be fired from these businesses. I wonder if the business would work. It would only continue to grow by 50%. But of course, the marketing side, which I handle, would be a bit slower. And on the content creation front, I can clearly tell you that if you want to produce content and make money in this medium, you need an editor. You can’t do everything yourself. If you try to do something yourself, your growth will be very limited. If you try to do something with two people, and you’re just the content creator, and someone else is editing, believe me, those things will grow very quickly. So, build a team. You’re nothing without a team. So, one of the first recommendations for those who want to start on YouTube is to work with an editor. Naturally, you should reflect yourself there and continue to do it regularly and systematically . So, how did the Sezar Collection start? What do you want to share there? How is it progressing? The Sezar Collection is our baby, the apple of our eye. It was around 2019. I started with nightlife videos, or so I thought. 2020, sorry. Covid was almost over then. I’m wearing colorful shirts, etc. There’s always stuff under the comments. Sezer, where do you get these? Sezer, like, I said to Sergen, ” Look, you’re a shopkeeper, he’s a florist.” I said, “We need to create a clothing brand. What’s the name?” he asked. “Let’s do The Sezar.” I said, “Sezer, Sezar, what difference does it make?” That’s where we started: The Sezar, because it’s a universal name. When you look at people, when they say Caesar, they say my name, and when they say Caesar, they say Caesar . All our friends here have become accustomed to Sezni. That’s why, once Sezar created an identity, it was a name that could catch on globally. And that’s how it’s really progressing. We’re about to finish our third article this year. Thankfully, sales are good. Our operations team is excellent. There are different people who do the advertising, the shoots, the models , the warehouses, the shipping areas, and the corporate companies we work with. As I said, the key to The Caesar’s growth today is teamwork. Yes, in the beginning, I was the one carrying the sack on my back and lining the shelves, but the key to its current growth is ensuring the right operation with the right team. To truly benefit viewers, I started with questions that would explain how they should progress in life . I have a few more questions from there. After that, I’ll move on to the travel section. I’ll move on to their stories abroad. Finally, I’ll move on to some more personal, personal, and deeper questions, but as I said, we have a few more questions here. People are very curious about this: How much do people need to earn to travel so much? Yes. I never know my monthly income right now. I never know what I spend monthly either. I’m sure I’m spending it wisely, but I’m also sure I’m earning it wisely. Most people think I’m a millionaire because I can live the life of a millionaire without being a millionaire. What does that mean? I’m in Bali right now. In two months, I’ll be in Japan. In three months, maybe I’ll be in Australia. While achieving all of this, I’m taking the right, minimal steps . I’ve never flown a jet. I’ve never stayed in an eight-room villa. If I have, I’ve collaborated. These things can happen. Given the current state of affairs, these things can happen economically, but why is it necessary? Sometimes we have to question things. There’s so much hunger and misery going on in the world. Wars, children dying in Gaza. There’s hunger. With so much nonsense and disorder, what good is it for me to splurge or buy myself the latest model flying car ? There’s this absurdity in the world called pleasure. I’m getting off topic a bit, but the gist is this: If you spend the right money and the right steps, you can travel the world very easily. You don’t have to be a millionaire. But we exaggerate things too much. I mean, I was spending more than 100% of the money I spent in Bali in Fethi. I’m currently living in Bali for less. And Bali seems like an incredible place to people, but it’s not. I mean, this is a very viable place. Buy a ticket and see what I mean. We shouldn’t exaggerate. I can’t believe how much I earn and how much I spend. Money is an infinite resource. You take as much as you want, you give as much as you want. If you make the right monthly income, you can travel the world very easily. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t buy a house or a car with your monthly earnings . No. The first rule of business is don’t buy it. Don’t buy it. If you do, you’ll lose. You can make the right investments, but if you buy a house or a car, you’ll lose your first earnings at the end of the day. Thank you. Is there favoritism on YouTube? Is it by algorithm? Don’t. Don’t. Yes. No favoritism. Don’t . Don’t. We do. You, too, do you? I’m Turkish. I’ll ask you again. Yes. I’ll ask you a few general questions that I’m actually not familiar with. Again, technical information. We’re curious about your thoughts. 1. What do you think about the Social Security Institution (SGK)? Do you worry about such things ? Yes. 2. Is there favoritism on YouTube? Did they bring you here by favoritism? What do you think about the algorithm? Is the question a compound question? Did you combine it? I combined it. A great combination. YouTube favoritism and the Social Security Institution (SGK). What does it have to do with it? I don’t have any issues with the SGK. I don’t want it to. I mean, we shouldn’t depend on anything . Think about it, you’re 65 now. Let me give you an example from my own father. I’m 62. He worked for years. He paid for things for years. So, is the amount he’s currently receiving 10,000 Lira, 12,000 Lira, 15,000 Lira, whatever? Whatever his retirement pension is. I mean, isn’t this a shame? These people worked for years. They worked for years. They invested money, and at the end of the day, the amount they receive is even less than minimum wage. Is that what I’m supposed to live for now? Or should the SGK be my Social Security Institution, so I can go to the hospital and get care. I won’t get sick. I’ll always be well. When I do get sick, I’ll have money in my pocket and be able to use it properly. I prefer to live by relying on this power . So, I received a pension at 60. Life is over, after all. It’s over. Now, some people will write and say, ” I’ll see you when I retire, brother.” The important thing is that I can see you now. Let ‘s focus on the present moment, not 50 years from now. Unfortunately, there’s no such thing as favoritism on YouTube. I wish we had an uncle on the inside, so he could give me a lift so I could get some views. Friends, YouTube is the most difficult content creation aspect of social media. If you can succeed on YouTube, you can succeed on any platform. If you’re unsuccessful on YouTube, believe me, growing on other social media platforms won’t do you much good. But someone who succeeds on YouTube can do anything. Just so you know, there’s no favoritism. You have to post regularly . We’re on Sezer Yılmaz’s YouTube channel twice a week. Come on over. We’re exploring the world together. We’re having fun, laughing, and learning great things. We’ve received our advice. We’ve learned how to get started on YouTube . We’ve received our tips on how to navigate this and generate financial income within this system . Well, we didn’t actually give you the full details, but we will. Let me ask you another question if you want. Before I get to this one, because there’s a lot more to this. What else needs to be explained, for example. How can I do all this without any money? What did we talk about last? What did we ask that we talked about? I don’t know. We’ve talked a lot. Don’t get carried away, you know. Okay, ask direct questions. Don’t even try. Just keep asking. Why are you interfering? I’m explaining it nicely . Okay. Why are you interfering? Please, just get involved. Will you come, man? If we remember the last question I asked, Emre Belezoğlu is like this: Who is Emre Belezoğlu? He doesn’t know Emre Belezoğlu. Who did I sit with? Sezay. Sezar Collection. Yes. So, you’re saying you can travel without any money. No, anyone who says that is lying, my friends. If someone tells you you can travel without money, they’re lying. You can struggle without money. We have friends who struggle. They’ve achieved incredible success. So, struggling isn’t just a bad thing. We’ve seen that too. I mean, I have friends like Emre Durmuş, Ripped Pants, and many more who have achieved incredible success on YouTube . They’re on the road. These guys all started from scratch. None of them started with $10,000 or $20,000 in their pockets. That’s what it’s all about, folks. You can travel the world without money. No, you can’t. You can crawl , but you can also earn something by crawling. Traveling doesn’t necessarily mean staying in a five-star hotel or a very nice place. These guys carved on benches, sat in gardens, sold bracelets, made music, stayed at the border in Mexico, and did whatever else. Is it possible? It’s possible. You can do it by crawling. Do you recommend it? Yes, I do. Because I know exactly where these guys are now, what their vision is, and how happy they are. But that doesn’t mean you can’t make money while crawling. With the right moves, you can gain momentum much faster . Because this time, an audience is forming that’s curious about your life. But unfortunately, it’s not going the right way. We’ll tell you about them too. Was there a time when you said, “We’re screwed,” I’m telling you directly from here abroad ? And what a mess we’ve been. The last time I was in Jamaica Greetings to Denize, chasing a dream. We’re in a car. I said let’s jump in Deniz. Let’s jump out of the car, brother. There’s no sound from Deniz. Let me tell you how it started . We’re in Jamaica. We decided to explore the most dangerous streets there. There are the streets where Bob Marley was born there. In a place called Trench Town, where Bob Marley used to hang out, and so on. We decided to take a taxi. We got in a taxi. The taxi driver took us. He couldn’t find the taxi. He tried to find something by asking a few shopkeepers and people there. Still couldn’t find it. He got lost. The more he got lost, the more nervous we became. He started to get nervous too. Then he asked a man. The man started shouting at us from the window and finally said one last thing. The man said, ” He will help us,” in English. We said okay, whatever. He came back. We saw that the man got into the car. The man started wrapping something he had bought in his hand. He said, “Young people, do you drink?” The sound of Deniz was gone anyway. I was in the front. I said, “No, uncle, we don’t drink.” They’re all in English, by the way. Their English is very good. After that, he told the taxi driver, “Go ahead and drive.” And they started speaking their own language among themselves. My God, we entered a place that looked like a field. I mean, the dirtiest street in Jamaica, and I’m talking about a place where more than a thousand people die a year. I’m talking about a place where murders happen every day. And we ‘re going here by taxi. They’re speaking their own language among themselves. Finally, we came to the field. I said, Deniz, let’s jump in. There was no sound from Deniz. The kid locked up. Anyway, time passed. We turned into a street a little further. If we had turned right, I would have definitely jumped in. Because there are guys like that on the right. You know, they stand like this on the left. They have something in their hands, in their pockets. You know, those kinds of people. He was one of them. He didn’t turn back there at the end. He went straight ahead. The man stopped and got out of the car. He said, “You’re here, he said. We thanked him.” He drove off. Then he said to the taxi and we said, ” Brother, why are you looking for someone you don’t know in the car?” He said, “Don’t be afraid he said. He said they won’t kill you here. They will kill me. Because you,” he said, “are white.” They don’t do anything to white people who come here. We said, thank you very much . We said it’s good that you said this recently. Will I go to Birazcık after that day? I never go. I don’t recommend it either. Camilik, you weren’t expecting such a story. Thank you for sharing this story here. Those who haven’t watched it can watch the video as well. If you were born again, would you be a YouTuber? How did you decide to become a YouTuber? I definitely would. Do you know why? Because on YouTube, you are completely you. On other platforms, you can’t be completely you. Because you have a certain number of seconds. But on YouTube, you can talk as much as you want. You upload a 40-minute video. A guy can watch you for 25-30 minutes, for example. This is a very nice thing. I think being a YouTuber is much, much more enjoyable than the other versions. Because yes. On the other one, you put music on top of it. Exactly. I tell what I’m kidding. What limit do I have? It’s a 90-second limit. 60 seconds. There’s no need. YouTube is great. So, what would you do if you were unable to travel and couldn’t create travel content for YouTube ? I’d sell like I used to. I mean, I sold alarms until I was 26. I sold disabled products. I worked in a plastics store. I worked in a florist. I worked as a waiter, worked at an agency, and so on. I used to sell . I think I have high sales skills. I mean, I think I’m good at selling things through conversation and closing the sale . But wouldn’t I create content in another area on YouTube? Sports. I’m a football enthusiast. I mean, I could talk about Ali Koç here or anyone else day and night . Ali Koç resigned. What can I say? Well, last thing people knew, he had returned to Turkey for good. He’d rented a house. Yes. We were Fety. What happened, Sezer? How did you find yourself a mother again, brother? I was fired up. After six years, I decided to return to my hometown. I should. In fact, there’s a place in my heart that always remains: Feti. We even said, “The sea is from there, let’s spend time together.” I moved to Fatih. I rented a house for 12 months. I could only stay in the house for a maximum of 45 months. Hanging laundry, putting away laundry, ironing, and cleaning up the dishes after dinner. That’s exactly why I left home. Is this what my life is going to be about? Absolutely. And I’m a productive person. I need to. After eating chicken, I have to wash the dishes so I can be more beneficial to society. Joking aside, it’s really hard for me to stay home because I have a passion for travel due to my job. Even now, when I stay in the same place in Bali for 20 days, I think I’m missing out. Life feels like I’m escaping. I think sometimes that’s bad. Sometimes you need to stop and realize what’s what. Because one day, the day will come when I have to stop. I’ll be out there soon . Maybe I’ll need to start a family. Maybe not. We’ll see. Those questions will come, but before that, I have a few more questions about the trip . Ask them. Let’s say I decide to travel. What are your top five things to the first person who’s going to travel? 1. Wear The Caesar. 2. I’d be joking if I started with “Take a trip with me .” Friends, the first thing is, it doesn’t matter where you go. I mean, sometimes you ask, “Should I start here or there?” It doesn’t matter. The only thing that matters is where you go. If your financial situation can’t handle much, start with Asian countries or the Balkans. After all, you can’t go to Europe without a visa. Even if you do have a visa, you can start in more sedate countries instead of European countries. Second, your excitement must be at its highest level. Because if your excitement level is low when faced with the challenges you’ll encounter along the way, you’re very likely to give up. The likelihood of you giving up and turning back is very, very high. 3. You must be fearless. So, “Will it hurt?” ” Will anything happen if I eat this?” “Will anything happen to me?” “Go ahead, man.” “Fearless. ” If you’re fearless, there’s nothing you can’t overcome. 4. You must know your limits. You must manage your fearlessness correctly. If you don’t adapt to the rules of a society you’re completely unfamiliar with, if you don’t know your limits, you might find yourself kicked out of town, out of the country, and something bad happens to you. You must know your limits. For example, in Colombia, you can’t make extra money. They’ll take you. 5. Manage your money correctly. If you can’t budget correctly, you’ll be left stranded and forced to return. And don’t get comfortable. Let comfort sink you. When comfort sinks, you can already achieve success. That’s where the crawling I mentioned earlier comes in. So, even if you have money , don’t get comfortable; crawl. The more you crawl, the more comfort you’ll find along the way. And don’t get your expectations so high. For example, you’re coming to Bali and saying, ” I’ll do this, I’ll do that.” Then you see two bugs and you’re down. Let your expectations be minimal. Then they’ll rise, after all. Suggestions that appeal to everyone. Very good. Thank you. I have one more question about this. Actually, this isn’t really the question for you, but I’ll ask it a little differently. The question is this: If you could live in one country for the rest of your life, where would you live? But I’d like to ask this: If there’s one country you can live in for the rest of your life, where would it be? For us, uh, you precious people, for you mortals, for those living on Earth, for those who are in the world . If you have any suggestions for those who can stay, Bali could be it in terms of living. Because the prices are both affordable and the lifestyle is beautiful. The social environment is nice, it’s safe, and you can live here with your family. Secondly, if you have the money, don’t even think about Hawaii. It’s really expensive, and it’s a country that will make you happy and where you can live surrounded by nature. Hawaii is already connected to the US. Thirdly, if I say, “I like danger, but I also know how to have fun,” I mean Brazil. Brazil is something else entirely. Imagine if it were five or ten times more dangerous than Turkey, but the nature is beautiful, the food is delicious, and the entertainment is great. If you’re positioned correctly, you can have fun in Brazil too . That’s all. These are my suggestions for mortals. But if you’re in one country, I can spend a lot of time in one country. I’ll travel from continent to continent. I won’t go national. I mean, let’s say I’ll stay in South America for five years. I don’t know, let’s say I’ll stay in Asia for three years. My life has evolved a bit more towards that. So, where will this end? What are your future goals? Will you travel all the countries? Sezer, will you travel until retirement? Sezer, there are those who say, “Will you live like this until you’re 50?” We’ll see together. Because I don’t know either. The answer to the question is actually The problem lies within. We’ll realize it when we’re 50. I’m not suggesting we never live without thinking about tomorrow. Because tomorrow is important, too. But if we live right now, tomorrow will come our way in the right way. As far as I can tell, you have a bit more of a “live it one day at a time,” mentality, but you’re also building your system. That’s a system working behind the scenes, with goals and objectives, and you’re taking firm steps towards it. Do you have any future goals? Do you have goals like, “I want to do this at this age”? No. In other words, in a world where we live in a world focused on success, if I were to focus solely on my professional accomplishments and then guide myself to 50, I ‘d be failing to grasp everything I’ve said so far. So, to say I see myself here at 50 because of my success in business would be a lie. But if you ask me where I see myself at 50, I want to be a peaceful, happy, and self-sufficient person . I want to be self-sufficient, self-sufficient, and content with what I’ve been given . Sometimes I think we’re asking for too much. So, because we’re not happy with what we have, we’re unhappy as a society. I’m not saying you don’t deserve an iPhone. You do, you do, you’re a young Turkish person. But you have priorities beyond an iPhone. You need to travel the world, too. The world has been transformed into a society created solely for the pursuit of things . And we’ve decided to experience the greatest capitalism in our own country . So, I want to be content. I want to be grateful, but sometimes, from the outside, you’ll say, “Of course, brother .” You’re already living a beautiful life, but I created it. No one gave it to me. Be grateful for the life you’ve created. Don’t be grateful around what you’ve created. Because unfortunately, people much older than me are spending their lives going to the office every day, for the sake of possessions, to buy a new house, a new car, a new villa, a new summer house. My office is here at Valid today, and in a month it’ll be somewhere else entirely. They might not want that either. Not everyone will travel the world. But what I’m talking about has nothing to do with traveling the world. What I’m saying is that you need to be content with what you have at the right time and in the right place. When you want more, you give up your time. You ‘re wasting your time, without even realizing it. As the conversation progressed, we moved from travel and technical advice to more in-depth questions people have been wondering about you with this question and answer . We did. Exactly. So, do you think that, besides success and commercial success, the real success is happiness and peace? I ask. Happiness and peace, but we can’t always be happy and peaceful. If we’re happy and peaceful all the time, that happiness loses its meaning. Sometimes, unrest becomes the joy of the peace we experience. Yes. After all, being human means , of course, sometimes we’ll fight, sometimes we’ll sulk, sometimes we’ll cry with each other, sometimes we’ll laugh together. But at the end of the day, we should live without regrets. I think that’s the most important element. So, when you wake up, you should say, “Brother, I lived a life I don’t regret last night,” and start the new day with hope. So, is happiness a goal or a journey? The journey, in other words, should never be the goal. You can’t be happy when it’s a goal . Because you’re always in that part. Think of it like money. If money is only your goal, you won’t understand the meaning of money once you earn it. But if you understand that money is a journey, you learn what to do with it. On this journey. Happiness is the same. Is there a moment in this journey where you say, “I took that first step?” Yes. I did. I went to Malta in 2018 for language training. I broke up with my girlfriend at the time. We were about to get engaged . We said, “This isn’t going to happen.” Let’s break up. She went somewhere else. I went somewhere else. We built different lives. When I went to Malta, my world changed in one day. I looked around. I said, “My environment was completely different.” You know, back home, you’d have a beer on the street corner. For example, while the guys were having beer on the street corner, Müslüm Gürses wasn’t listening. There was a Regeton listening. They were dancing. There’s a culture of having fun while drinking. We have a culture of worrying while drinking. Actually, that’s it. It’s beautiful. You have to blend that too. Everything is a balance. Sometimes we need to laugh and have fun. Sometimes we need to dance. The guys achieved this, but we were always sad. There was always unhappiness. There was always drama. There was arabesque. I mean, when I was 5 or 10, I knew Oran Gencebay’s songs by heart. Is that a good thing? Sometimes good. Sometimes good. Damn this world. But that feeling of returning home, even, let me ask you this. Does that feeling of returning home come? It doesn’t. My home is here right now. My home is my thoughts. My home isn’t a bed I sleep in. Or a place where I cook in the kitchen when I go home. My home is the world. Do you think you really feel this way, or are you running away from something? This feels too much. Running away from something. Why would I run away? There’s nothing to run away from. Because I am the one writing that story. I am the protagonist of that story. Whatever I draw becomes what I become. If I want to escape, I can also be in a plan that escapes . But I’m not running away from anything right now. I’m so happy. We’re in Bali right now. There’s nothing to escape here. You ride your motorcycle, you enjoy it, and so on. The feeling of home, being at home. Is home peace? Is it peace? I think home is discomfort. It’s interesting because when you stay home , you miss out on the beautiful things outside. But it’s also nice to be at home, to hug someone you love, to spend a beautiful day with them. Well, can you do that too, or can’t you? I do. Sometimes I hug, sometimes I love them. Sometimes we watch movies, sometimes we have coffee. Sometimes we go out together. Have your relationships always been this good? Have you always been able to do these things? Or did you start to be able to do these things and see the importance of them as you travel and meet more people ? I call this a talent. The ability to get along with someone in 10 seconds . It’s very difficult. Not everyone can do it. Because everyone approaches things with prejudice at first . But once you do that, there’s no door you can’t open. And by the way, there’s no commercial success you can’t open. You can sell anything. Because you’ve invested yourself in that person. So, this happened when I first started working in Marmaris at 16. My first experience there was learning about human relationships, getting really close to people, and learning to speak a different language with new people from different cultures . Later, I read books. While I’m not a big fan of personal development books , there are actually a lot of benefits to these kinds of books . The most important thing about strengthening human relationships is that I don’t say anything nice to you in the first 10 seconds of meeting you . If I can do it sincerely, I can win you over, but if I fake it, the other person will sense it. Yes. I can definitely sense fake. You will sense it. For example, that hair is nice. You need to know how to say it’s nice. The outfit is beautiful . You have a great outfit. Look, I spoke English. They spoiled me too. You dress beautifully. I don’t know, she has a necklace. It’s beautiful. Saying something nice to the other person shows that they have a good heart and also their talents. But in that business, everyone is actually positive. Not to everyone, but yes. So, what I’m trying to say is this. You need to be able to see things more positively when you take that first step . You know, to be able to say that good thing, you actually need to be able to feel the good in that person. Of course. Well, doesn’t everyone deserve good? We need to consider this too. Why do we always think about the bad? Why does Ahmet deserve bad things, and Mehmet deserves good things? Why is a butterfly so beautiful, while a cockroach is so ugly? I mean, everyone is good. If you treat everyone well, they ‘ll get better. You’ll get better too. We need to make the heart beautiful and heal. Isn’t that what’s missing in the world? Yes. Because we don’t heal, we’re starting to get worse. If we heal each other, there will be no problems. Sometimes I need to hug you. Sometimes I need to hold your hand. Sometimes I need to brighten your day with a kind word. Give me this. Don’t give me negative comments. Don’t tell me, “Sezer, my hair is messy.” Or “Sezer, my outfit.” Tell me, “My sister, I have such a beautiful smile, how could I know? Tell me that, and I’ll get better. My day will be beautiful, thanks to you. It’s so easy. What do you think when you get bad comments? Or, you know, what do you think when you get negative comments? Does it bring you down? Does it demoralize you? It does. I’m human, after all. The things I read can make my day worse. So, the things written are important, but do you care as much as you used to? You don’t care because there are so many. You don’t have time to read. You open it, and there are 100 comments, 1000 comments . Which one are you going to read? It gets really upset, Dad. I mean, I ‘m telling you this much. At the end of the day, they write me something ridiculous. That makes me really sad. So, do the negative comments affect your perspective, saying, “Everyone you just shared deserves goodness?” They don’t . I mean, I can’t bear malice. It happens like this. I get angry, and I write. I say, “Calm down, Sezel.” I mean, calm down. The guy’s had a bad day. Maybe he couldn’t find what he wanted in life. He wants to cling to you. I mean, there are people who want to cling to you with their failures. Imagine, you’re sitting at home. A man is having fun at a party in Bali, Brazil, and then there . He gets on your nerves. Anything bad he says doesn’t actually directly affect your character. He’s insulting the life you ‘re living. He’s insulting his own life. He’s trying to project this onto you through words. He’s unhappy being there, doesn’t really know how to express it, and that anger is attacking you. Yes. You say you don’t get angry at him either. No, I can’t bear it. The only person we get angry at is Ali Koç. Ali Koç resigned. Out of my own curiosity, I want to go back to the point we just discussed . What does it mean to you to feel uneasy at home? I ‘ve always despised my comfort zone, but gradually I realized that I wanted to get out of that comfort zone because I was unhappy in that comfort zone . I realized that comfort zone was actually breaking a habit I didn’t like . But when you create a comfort zone you love , my mindset has shifted a bit more toward not being a bad thing. You know, why is staying in one place, staying at home, associated with restlessness for you? Or should everyone move around at work , or should someone happy in their comfort zone be happy there, my friend ? It depends on the person. I don’t want to put anyone in a box, but if I were to say you’re living the wrong life 99% of the time, it would be rude. And that’s wrong, too. So, I need to emphasize this in the right way. Sometimes we need to use the right words. You know, it’s much more beneficial if you present something in the right light, rather than using harsh stereotypes. Many of my friends on social media get this wrong too. For example, there’s something right, but if you don’t accurately convey what you know to be right, it becomes wrong. That’s where the power of words comes from. The staying at home thing. If you love it, do it. Let me tell you why I feel uneasy at home. My responsibilities increase. For example, when I stay at an Airbnb or a hotel , I don’t have to wash my towel the next day. I don’t have to do anything. You could say, “You rented a house, then hire someone to do it .” No, I won’t say that. Actually, I’m going to say this. It’s not just the responsibility of picking up your towel at home. It also brings with it a whole new set of emotional responsibilities . I wonder if this could be a fear of being alone . Dad, I can’t be alone either. I mean , there are very few times in my life when I’m alone at home . Being in a crowd isn’t the same as not being alone. Do you think you’re lonely in a crowd? That was a good question too. Am I lonely in a crowd? Sometimes I am lonely. Yes. Because I’m someone who loves solitude . For example, while driving through the Norwegian mountains, I was alone there for four days. Why wasn’t I restless? I slept there in even worse conditions. There were days I slept in the car. There were days I slept in a crappy hotel. But I was more at peace than at home. Because I was on the road. I love being on the road. I mean, some people like to go to work 95% of the time. Some like being on the road. Some people might develop a new strategy at work instead of 95% of the time and dedicate their lives to it, and they might love that. Everyone has something they love in life. And there’s also this: You mentioned earlier, in the part where things can vary from person to person. So depending on your current age or situation, It might change. Your thoughts and feelings are different now than they were at 19. There’s no guarantee that what you think and share now will be the same in the future, not necessarily. Maybe in three years, I’ll say home isn’t a disease, but a comfort. I mean, we never know. Until I was 26, I used to say, “Turkey is heaven, what am I doing abroad?” I’ve now visited my 51st country. For example, I’ve reached this point in seven years. The reasons for this are as follows. Our lives change from year to year. Environmental factors and what you see and read can also affect you. When I was in Turkey, I would sit and watch books and movies. I read books for hours. I read Charles Pikowski. I read all of those, you know, most of the books. Animal Farms, George Orwell, the Alchemists, Paul Koho—I finished them all and started looking for some excitement at the end of the day. Because books broaden your horizons. The images you see in movies can inspire dreams. Hollywood has done this very well. For years, Hollywood gave us this, and on and on. I went to America, and I was in a movie in New York. Because he already made me experience it. He showed me New York for 25 years. Sometimes, your life can change thanks to the books you read and the movies you watch. It’s very rare, though. So, beyond what you read and watch, you change with your own experiences and the people you meet. That changes a lot, too. Maybe one day you’ll meet someone, Sezer. One of our questions, Darar, is: Are you thinking of marriage? Marriage has thought of me. Because when you say “me,” isn’t it difficult? You know, it’s something like that; even if you meet someone, it’s difficult for you . I mean, opening your heart to someone is difficult, of course, but finding that courage is also very difficult . Loving someone is a tremendous courage. Being loved by someone is a tremendous courage. Even if you’re not traveling, it’s a tremendous courage. Just think, I ‘ll start the day with the same person every morning and end it with that same person every night, and I might wake up feeling regretful. A year from now, I might get into a fight with the woman I married, and I might get loud and noisy. This is all a form of courage. You’re entering a game you don’t know. A closed box. What will come out? What will emerge from people’s minds a year later? What are we hearing? So, for example, you just gave people permission to travel, friends. Don’t be afraid. Just take your step and take your own steps. Just take the barley, just let me be. Do you listen to people’s suggestions in this area ? What place does that have in your life ? I don’t listen, man. I’m like, I don’t care. I mean, I do what I want. No one can change my mind. Could this be related to you avoiding responsibility ? No way. Maybe. Maybe. Can’t it be? Maybe. One of the things about Sezer’s friendship is that Sezer, if he thinks he knows something is right, says his own opinion first when he comes across another idea. Then he stops and says, “Come on, your opinion might be right too. Actually, I might not have thought that way. Let’s talk about this for a bit. We do. Yes. We need to talk. I mean, I can’t know everything in communication. If I say I know , I don’t know a [__] anyway. So, you might actually be running away, or you might be afraid. I am. I am afraid of loving, friends. Frankly, I mean, I am afraid of loving and failing. I don’t see this as a criterion for success, but I know how deep a wound failure inflicts in the sense of love. H, are you saying it’s different from the advice I gave about traveling ? Very different. I mean, traveling is a journey, loving is a lifetime. Some people can love much more healthily and deeply without fear, but they can’t manage to travel much. They are afraid of traveling. Yes. But I live most things at a very high level. I mean, when I travel , I live at a very high level. When I love, I love at a very high level. I mean, living at a very high level isn’t a good thing, either, in my opinion. If you love something, you should love it to the fullest. If you travel something, you should travel to the fullest. You’ve traveled a lot of places over the years. Yes. You’ve met a lot of people. We saw a lot of girls on your YouTube channel. Oh yeah. Did you never find love with any of these people? Do you think your failure to find love had something to do with them or with you? Do you think you haven’t met the right person? Or what is it? What’s the big deal? Charles, you’ve traveled a lot. Let me ask you a direct question. You’ve traveled a lot. You’ve seen a lot. So, have you found love? Let’s continue with a beautiful Charles Bukovski. Charles Bukovski says this. I want to describe it with what he says. Charkovski says love, you know that when you wake up in the morning, there’s a fog that rises before the sun rises, and that fog disappears with the sun. That’s what love is. That’s how I see it, too. I mean, love is a point you can reach in a moment with great excitement, but the struggle and effort that follows kills love, consumes it, makes you eat and drink. In other words, it feels like it doesn’t give you anything. On the contrary, it gives you peaks. It gives you serotonin, dopamine, everything. Then suddenly, something happens. You can vanish. The pain of that annihilation is also terrible. I want to say this. Haven’t I ever fallen in love? I have. I fell in love a lot. And then, thanks to the bankruptcy, I had periods of depression. I mean, what wouldn’t a life that put me through that put you through? So, do you regret what I lived? I regret it. I wish there had been someone more deserving instead of that person . H , I’m out of questions. No, no, continue. So, what should I ask in the question? I had two more questions. Are there any more? Two questions, but maybe even if that relationship ends and you’ll be sad afterward, you’ll experience something you won’t regret. For example, you travel countries and bad things happen to you there, but you never regret it. You know, something bad happened to you just now. Okay? You’re over it. How long does the trauma last? 5 days? 10 days, right? But what makes you happy in that? You. I ‘m happy traveling. He says love should find someone else. Love should find me too. Let it find us all, but let it find the person it deserves. Because the value given to someone who doesn’t deserve it can ruin your days. Your months, years can be ruined, and you might just see your youth disappear. I ‘m sure most of the people watching us here right now have maybe 5 years of their lives stolen because of the love they experienced or the blow they suffered. But those things teach you a lot. Why don’t they teach you, brother? I don’t understand that either. Don’t let them teach me things. I don’t want to learn through pain. I want to learn with joy. Okay. Loving and being loved are nice things, but there’s a life beyond that. If I start by saying I can be happy by loving myself, that I don’t need someone to love me, that would be a lie too. We’ll live entirely whatever life brings us. You never know. I’d like to ask him the same questions again in a few years. I think it ‘s beautiful like that. Yes. If you have a good relationship, even if it’s not a good one, you know, afterward, you suffer, or you see how what you learned from there will affect your life, well, what’s it to me, what’s it to me? I’m not nervous about asking a new question . Yes, what do you do in your free time ? I don’t have free time because I think time wasted is a part of our lives . For example, in my free time, you know what people call “free time.” I go and watch the sunset. I ride a motorcycle to the fields. I don’t have free time, and I always have a certain time period that I can always fill. So, it’s not like I never have work at certain times of the day . I always have work. I always have work, but I do it in the right way. This doesn’t turn me into a job that will give me cancer or consume my life. In my free time. What kind of question is that? Doesn’t filling yourself up so much, filling your life, exhaust you or drive you to burnout? No, it’s enjoyable. Even the work I do is enjoyable. Imagine, it’s even working with you right now . This video, for example, might get a lot of views. Thanks to these views, I’ll earn money again. If you’re making money by having fun in something and making it sustainable, it doesn’t really bother you anyway. Okay, Sezer, my last question, are you ready? Where’s your next stop? We’ll see together. Don’t you know? I mean, I don’t know. Good luck. Do you have a few locations in mind? Yes. There’s Australia, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Singapore. I mean, I’m going to finish Asia. If I can finish in the Asia and Australia-Oceania region, what good is it? There are currently 197 countries in the world. I’m currently in the 51st country. I have no ambition to finish 197. Because it seems unreasonable to me to travel to places I don’t enjoy. I’m a bit of a pleasure traveler. I don’t tell anyone I’m 100% a traveler. Because there are much better travelers. A traveler wouldn’t travel like me anyway. I don’t think a traveler would travel like most people in Turkey right now. I think being a traveler is something else entirely . I mean, you really need to dedicate your life to it. As I said, you have to go through very challenging conditions if necessary. I don’t take that many risks . I’m not 100% a traveler. I’m an entrepreneur. I’m an entrepreneurial traveler. Thank you. Thank you. It’s like we’re having one of the conversations we normally have. I think it was really nice. This is the first time someone has asked me with such enthusiasm. Arrange things for us together. Yes, I loved this job. I hope I answered your questions well. I apologize if I got offended. I’m already excited to watch this video years later . Yes. That’s the best part. Yes. I hope our friendship will remain strong after years, and we can watch this video together. We’ll make a new one. Then we can share your thoughts and feelings on the same questions with your fans and followers. Thank you for answering your questions. Thank you because it was a very enjoyable conversation, and the flow was great. You managed this place very well. I wonder if that’s why you were born? I love this job. We’ll be here until the morning. Let’s just sit here. Don’t take money from us. Did this Russian kid like you anyway? Of course , that’s already another one here. I’m writing down the questions here. He chatted with the kid for 10 minutes before we even started. Suddenly, Fenerbahçe, Putin, Erdoğan, and all that stuff are talking about Fenerbahçe again to the kid. Anyway, thank you so much for your questions. Thanks for watching. Don’t forget to visit Sezen Yılmaz’s channel. Leave a comment , friends. If you have any new questions , this is a studio 5 minutes from our house. We’ll shoot a new one too. Of course we can. Why not? It’s a taste of something. Then we’ll say goodbye. Okay.
