バリ島西部でやるべきことトップ10(2025年観光客が見逃した隠れた名所)

from breathtaking sights to mesmerizing
underwater sceneries, unique experiences, vibrant culture, and indulging in one of Bali’s
tastiest dishes… West Bali is truly a must- visit attraction! So please join us on a virtual tour
of this off the beaten path destination with our top 10 things to see and do. The list are in
no particular order so you can arrange them according to preference. And we’re starting with
our number one Menjangan Island! And now we have arrived at Menjangan Island – This is the number
one attraction in West Bali. It forms part of the West Bali National Park, which is a conservation
area for the native animals of the region. [Music] Oh the water feels so good – Isn’t this
spectacular? On one side of the island you will see the mountains of East Java
including the imposing volcano of Kawa Ijen on the right and Raong on the left. You can
actually book a tour to visit Kawa Ijen from Bali. And on the other side of the island
you will see the mountains of Bali. This is definitely a different landscape
from what you usually expect Bali to be. And what’s interesting is that Menjangan
in Javanese means Deer because often you will find Deer here in the island And they get
here by swimming across the national park 1.6 6 km or that’s around 1.2 miles So
fascinating right? So we can see the deer now. This is their favorite island
getaway. Oh they’re so calm and friendly… [Music] Now the real magic is waiting to be explored
underneath the sea. Let’s go Get ready! [Music] Menjangan Island is also renowned for its
crystal clear waters and one of the best diving sites in all of Bali. Immerse
yourself in its memerizing underwater sceneries and discover exotic marine life
and breathtaking coral formations [Music] [Music] and for those into diving then the island has
a five-star PADI Dive Center that offers PADI certified dive courses for all levels. So whether
you’re a seasoned diver or a beginner -Menjangan Island promises a bespoke diving experience that
showcases what West Bali is renowned for. [Music] And now we’re here at Perancak Harbor located in
the village of Perancak. You will find beautiful mangrove forests further inland and also turtle
conservation around this area. But what’s really special about this harbor are these fishing boats.
You will find different fishing boats in Bali but to me this are one of the most beautiful, the
most unique, most spectacular not just Bali but perhaps all over the world [Music] These boats
are called Perahu Selerek have a crew about 20 and operate in pairs. You will always see two boats
moored alongside each other. The pair of boats will be painted in almost identical patterns
and colors with one referred to as the male and the other female. And if something happens
to one of the boats and can no longer be used the remaining one is referred to as widow or janda
in Indonesian. [Music] The harbor is really magical with these spectacular boats here. This is also a
perfect place to have lunch, dinner and watch the sunset. You will also find a
few restaurants here offering delicious seafood dishes with reasonable
and affordable prices. [Music] And continuing on with the wonders of Jimbrana –
Did you know that Jimbrana is derived from two words? Jimbar and Wana meaning vast jungle. It
has a total area of over 800 square kms and right now I’m walking across the renowned Bridge
of Love located here at the Wisata Gellar River It’s rich in history and has the most pristine
rivers in all of Bali. [sound of river and birds chirping] The river here is clean, crystal clear and local villagers
often come here to bathe in the river. This is a perfect escape away from the hustle and
bustle of the main cities in Bali. Surrounded by rural settings and plantations this is
definitely an authentic Balines experience And a very important monument
is also located here honoring the fallen heroes who risked their
lives during the Dutch colonialism of the 19th century. [sound of river and birds chirping] So if you
want to escape the crowds and want to enjoy rural yet authentic Balinese experience
then this place is worth checking out. [Music] And now we’re here at Bali’s most unexpected structure – the Sacred Heart
of Jesus Catholic Church. [Music] [Birds chirping] The church is located in the village of
Palasari and is different to your typical Balinese village as it is home to a community of Catholic
Balinese. The church brings another dimension and liveliness towards Bali with its traditions and
ceremonies. You can witness the cultural harmony depicted from their architecture and interior
design. A perfect harmony that blends Christian elements with Balinese Hindu style. For instance you
will find Canang Saris here outside the church and Canang Saris are usually offered in Balinese temples
or that you will find the wall and the gates are actually decorated using Balinese architecture.
Just goes to show the unique blend of cultures here in Palasari village. The village also has
the Palasari Dam which is a short drive from the church. It is surrounded by tropical rainforests in
the north and large rice fields in the south. This place is still unknown to many tourists and you
can come up here to fish find a few picnic spots or simply enjoy the fresh air and the atmosphere.
This dam is really a multi-functioning tourist spot! [Music] [Birds chirping] Bunut Bolong is a giant sacred tree and an
important landmark in the village of Manggissari. The word bunut in Balinese means a certain
type of Banyan tree and bolong means a hole. Unlike any other Banyan tree, this tree
is unique because it has a hollow at the bottom large enough for vehicles to
pass freely. In Balinese culture, giant banyan trees can grant wishes and
this sacred tree has rich stories to tell. [Birds chirping] So for instance if you’re a bride and a groom
and you cross the sacred tree you will separate after – That’s so ominous and threatening right? But
on a positive note locals that pray as they cross the sacred tree are believed to be provided
with safety security and protection from the Gods. [Music] [Birds chirping] And more importantly to protect the
people from the power of the tree another road has been constructed next to it so locals
and believers can choose to take this road instead. [Music] [ Birds chirping] But regardless of your belief this is an important landmark and a must see
attraction here in Jimbrana Regency. [Music]  [Birds chirping] [Birds Chirping] [sound of waves] The Rambut Siwi Temple is one of the
largest of all Hindu temples in Bali. and is located in Negara Regency of
West Bali. Situated on the edge of a cliff facing directly the Indian Ocean, its
name translate to Holy Hair in Indonesian. It is believed that this temple was built in order
to keep the powerful forces of the sea away from the land in the village. The locals also believe
that Rambut Siwi is a secret temple and there was a time when it held many secret objects and
is shrouded with mystery and uncertainty to this day. [sound of waves] This temple is really beautiful. You
can come here later in the day to watch the beautiful sunset. Indian Ocean is
at the back and also this temple is surrounded by natural woodlands and
quaint Balinese Villages all around it. This temple has around
seven temples in it and the entrance fee is 30,000 Indonesian rupia
per person. I find this temple a perfect alternative to the busy and
touristy temples of Ulawatu and Tanah Lot. [Music] [sound of waves] And in terms of accommodation options
there’s a few here in West Bali that provides expensive luxury to the
affordable and budget accommodation Right now we’re staying at the beautiful
Naya Gawana Resort – It’s located just in the beautiful Menjangan Bay and also has
beautiful gardens and fantastic infinity pool. [music] And another thing that I love
about this hotel is the design Uh they’ve incorporated both modern and
traditional – So the houses that you can see here are suites called Lumbung and Lumbung
traditionally means rice barn. The apex is used to store the rice and the bottom
is where people live. Fascinating right?! [Music] [Birds chirping] And we’re here at Gilimanuk. This is Bali’s
Eastern Gateway an important port connecting Eastern Java to Bali Indonesia. And the cost of
the ferry to cross the Bali Straits is under $2 – that’s remarkably cheap! And while in West
Bali you can also explore the wonders of East Java including the majestic Kawa Ijen that
is one of the volcanoes you can see in the background. And to end our tour we’re here at
Secret Bay Gilimanuk and Taman Siwa Garden. This is a perfect place to watch the sunset. You can
also come here early in the morning and watch the sunrise and hire a boat take you around
the place for sightseeing, a bit of diving, a bit of swimming, a bit of snorkeling, So lots of
activities to be had here…. But what is important is the statue of Lord Siwa here And did you
know that this region of Bali is where Hinduism started from the influences of traders and the
Majapahit Empire? This region also provides some of the tastiest dishes Bali has to offer
including ayam betutu gillimmanuk. And as the name suggests Gilmanuk is where this dish came
from… Gilimmanuk is definitely the ayam betutu capital of Bali as you will find lots of warong
and restaurants serving this famous dish. So what is Ayam Betutu? Ayam Betutu basically means spiced chicken.
And so what’s special about this dish? The whole chicken is marinated in spicy paste mixed called
betutu Basically made of red chili pepper, galangal turmeric, shallots and ginger among other things
There is also a variation of this dish called Bebek Betutu which is duck and you can eat this with rice
some vegetables or sambal depending on preference The chicken is wrapped in banana leaf and steamed
for several hours. These days the chicken can also be roasted or fried mmmm I can smell the aroma coming
off this chicken… I can’t wait to try it now. mmm I can taste the intensity of the
flavors from all of the spices used Oh so rich in flavor and even just the
sauce and the peanuts and some of the sambal…. mmm spicy…. crunchy… so flavourful! I hope you enjoyed our video
presentation and I hope to see you again in our next video of Bali Island of the
Gods off the beaten track. In the meantime wherever you are in the world I hope you
stay safe smile and be happy. Terimah kasi Bye-bye! [Music]
