列車ホテル「小湊鐵道キハ203」に泊まる 東京→千葉 一泊の旅
Hello! I’m currently at Tokyo Station. Today, I’d like to visit a train hotel in Chiba Prefecture. Its official name is “Takatakiko Glamping Resort.” It takes about two hours by train to get there. I transfer to the Kominato Railway. I arrive at Takataki Station. Apparently , this used to be an elementary school. This is my lodging for the night. First, I check in. It’s built right along the tracks. Wow! I’m on a train! Can I have a beer before the room tour? I’m thirsty. Delicious!! Huh? Wow! Apparently, the train sometimes sounds its horn if there’s someone on the balcony. Drinking a beer while watching the trains go by is the best. Let’s take a room tour. This train is a modified “Kiha 203.” The bedroom can sleep up to four people. It has air conditioning,too. There’s air conditioning here too. There’s a microwave. There’s an electric kettle and cooking utensils. There’s a refrigerator. There’s also a freezer. There’s a sink. Here’s some dishes. These are sweets. These are rusks. There’s a barbecue grill. This is the balcony where I had my beer earlier. This is a hammock. There’s a crew uniform. Is it a replica? This is the driver’s cab. Wow! I’m not an expert on machinery, but this is very exciting. Disposable slippers, toothbrush set, and towel. Let’s drink some more. Yakitori I bought at Tokyo Station. This is a famous sumo souvenir. They sell a variety of beers at the shop. Delicious! Yakitori is also delicious. The meatballs are great, too. I’ve always loved this yakitori. Fun! Let’s explore the facility. The train hotel has two rooms. The room next door is vacant today. The toilets are shared. It’s very clean. There are facilities for glamping and a dog run. This is the old gymnasium. You can have a campfire here. This is a bar converted from a bus. There’s also a sauna. The overall feel is stylish. This is a shower room converted from an old school building. It’s very clean. Let’s go to the gymnasium. Wow! You can use it freely. There are trampolines, ping-pong tables, playground equipment, and more. Various goods and drinks are sold at the front desk. If you make a reservation in advance, they will deliver food to this locker. For dinner, I had a bento box I bought at Tokyo Station. A matsutake mushroom rice bento. Let’s eat. Delicious!
