越南中部高原,法国人百年前建的避暑城,如今成了越南的”东方小巴黎“,山城大叻探秘🇻🇳阿树闯越南EP54
This is the Vietnamese version of Alice in Wonderland. I’ve arrived in the dreamiest city in Vietnam’s central highlands , the mountain city of Da Lat. It was once a summer resort during the French colonial era and was known as the “Little Paris of the East.” Da Lat is located at an altitude of over 1,500 meters, with warm winters and cool summers, and it’s like spring all year round. The city is full of blooming flowers. It’s also famous for its coffee, strawberries , and artichokes. Come with me as I wander around this city today . Many European and American tour groups have also come here. This is the ticket office for Crazy House. How much is a ticket for 80,000 Vietnamese dong (about 3.3 US dollars)? The price has increased . I saw (in other bloggers’ videos) that it used to be 60,000 Vietnamese dong and now it is 80,000 Vietnamese dong, which is about 24 yuan (about 3.3 US dollars). Thank you, okay . We walked into Crazy House, one of the ten most peculiar buildings in the world. It combines the styles of fairy tales, naturalism and surrealism because its designer is the daughter of the former President of Vietnam. She was deeply influenced by the surrealist aesthetics and natural aesthetics when she studied in the Soviet Union. So it was built in 1993. If I remember correctly, this building is still being expanded. It is said that
this place challenges the rules of this type of architecture. There are no straight lines here, various caves , vines , and irregular stairs. This very unique architectural aesthetic is said to be influenced by the Spanish architect Gaudi . Let me take a look at it slowly. There are many European and American tourists. Let’s take a look at it. It uses a lot of concrete and This hand-carved sculpture has now become a must-see attraction when traveling to Dalat. You can experience this natural aesthetic because it incorporates a lot of natural elements, such as trees, vines, caves, and stones. I saw this architect on the Internet. He said that although we live in this modern world of steel and concrete , we should not forget that we come from nature. It is probably influenced by this natural aesthetic . Dalat is about 1,500 meters above sea level. I don’t know if it’s a bit of altitude sickness . I feel a little breathless when walking up the stairs and talking . The stairs here are all intricate and you don’t know where you will go. You can’t get through this place. Thank you . You can go over here and take a look. It seems like a fairy tale world. This kind of Disney feeling makes you never guess where it will lead to . It feels quite interesting. Before I came here, I just thought it would be a curious building , but when you are inside, you still feel that this kind of building gives you a very different experience. You are now walking on a series of suspended stairs . Oh , oh, it’s so complicated. You can’t get through if you don’t play by the rules. These jackfruits are full of fruits. If you are not careful, you might step on two jackfruit trees. I was quite worried that the fruits would fall and hit someone because they are quite fat. I walked back a long way to let her go before I could move forward. It challenges the authority of architecture and has its own style . It is called the Vietnamese version of Alice in Wonderland and it seems very creative. Haunted house, look at how tall the pine trees are. The houses are decorated with animal sculptures and Tai Chi diagrams. It’s a fusion of natural and surrealist elements. I see people walking, and it feels like they’re walking on a ridgeline. It’s a very unique experience. There are more Europeans and Americans here, and relatively few local Vietnamese tourists. This place is not open to the public. The stairs in the interior are winding and zigzag , with no straight lines. The exterior wall looks like the eyes and facial features of some giant animal, full of imagination. How did the designer come up with this when he laid out the structure? It’s very ingenious and imaginative . Doesn’t it look like an animal with many eyes ? Only one person can walk on it . It feels like walking on the rooftops. What I like about this place is not only its wild imagination , but also that it really integrates nature into the building . Look at this huge pine tree , it has become a part of the building. Those others are fake cedars, haha, this is a real pine tree. It feels like walking on the Cloud Top Ladder, haha , doesn’t it feel like a giant beast with its mouth wide open ? The coffee shop sells this souvenir shop . Is this an eye, a mouth , or an ear ? Are these teeth or something else ? Look, these are teeth, then what are these long white things like a beard? There is no standard answer here. I think it should be open-ended. Haha, just use your imagination. The most amazing thing here is this pine tree. It grows right in the center of the building . Its vines and branches extend in different directions on all four sides of the building , giving the whole building a kind of vitality. Go inside and take a look. Is there a tree trunk or a corridor inside , like a dinosaur skeleton? 24 yuan (about 3.4 US dollars) Come in and take a look. One of the most amazing buildings in the world is still there. It ‘s quite interesting . This road is really interconnected and doesn’t follow a routine at all. It has the fun of walking through a maze, but it’s also a bit dangerous. I think the railings aren’t that high. From here, you can overlook a part of Da Lat. My drone is gone, so this is the only way to overlook the city. You can also take a cable car to the top of the mountain. The more you see this scene , the more you regret losing your drone. I used my drone to shoot some footage at the morning market today . The drone flew along the winding ridgeline, and I saw the houses, high and low, scattered on the hillside. The colors were like a fairy tale world. Unfortunately, I can’t get it back. When the drone exploded, the material inside was gone . I only understood it when I got up there. Ha , visiting this crazy house not only allows you to experience this unique architectural art, but also provides a panoramic view of Da Lat from a high point . You can see a bird’s-eye view of the city from every angle . The crazy house is quite high, and each height offers different attractions. The highest is where I am now. Korean tourists , Japanese tourists, dangerous stairs. Wow, it’s still a bit dangerous. It feels like walking on a suspended plank road. Be careful with children when walking. If you bring children here, this is a pier. You can overlook the city of Dalat. Look around. It feels like this house is made up of several animal heads. The one opposite is a horse head or something. What do you see? In fact, it is a place where you can use your imagination to experience its fun. There are also some hotel rooms here. Each room is named after an animal. I saw a customer who stayed in these rooms . He said that he found himself being visited by tourists in the morning because there were many tourists in the morning . This place is very suitable for all ages. It should stimulate children’s imagination and creativity. Back to the first floor, there is a tree door made of jackfruit trees. This seems to be another guest room. It is a loft-style staircase to the second floor. There may be a bedroom. I don’t know how much it costs to stay overnight. There is also a chandelier. It is very cool. Just as I sat down under this cave , I saw a statue that looked like a girl tied with iron chains. I originally thought I would just pass by this attraction quickly, but when I was in it, I found that he This ingenuity attracted people’s attention. Wow , there is such a beautiful underwater world. There are coral reefs and mermaids under the sea . It’s 2:30 in the afternoon. I just visited the Crazy House and I’m a little hungry. There are many fast food restaurants at this intersection . I had a simple lunch of chicken, braised pork, and eggs . The weather was too hot. I ordered two meat dishes and the cost was 45,000 Vietnamese dong, about 13 yuan (1.8 US dollars). Dalat’s public library. After the public library, I came to a convent that was closed. I found many churches and temples in Dalat. This should be a municipal unit. There are many small Western-style buildings. The iron tower opposite seems to be the tallest facility in Dalat. It is the signal tower of one of the three major telecommunications operators in Vietnam. OK, we came to the most magnificent and tallest church among the many churches in Dalat. In fact, I took a very beautiful shot of this church with a drone . The drone lost its footage, so we took a look at it from the ground. This is also a tourist attraction in Dalat that is visited by many tourists. Behind me is the most famous religious landmark in Dalat. It is said to be the most historic church. It is called St. Nicholas Cathedral . It’s called the Chicken Church because we can see a rooster weathervane on the spire. It’s a typical French Gothic church. Construction began in 1931 and was completed in 1942. The tall spire is 47 meters high. It is an architectural wonder left to the Vietnamese plateau during the French colonial era. They sell packets of sugar water in plastic bags . You can drink it right away. There are tortoise jelly, cooling powder, and pearls for bubble tea. I walked back to my residence and saw such a beautiful scene, but it’s a pity there was no drone. I flew a drone here last night, so it takes time to verify whether a room is good or not . It feels like a sauna when you come in. It’s cool outside, but it feels hot and stuffy here because it’s been in the sun all day. But there’s no air conditioning, only a fan . After the drone exploded, I felt a little nervous, but I stayed strong and took some photos of the Crazy House in Da Lat. Wow, there are so many ants. I just ate two pieces of jackfruit. They were delicious. I don’t know if I can eat them anymore. I’ll have diarrhea and it will be troublesome. Wow , I could smell the strong aroma of jackfruit all night long when I went to bed last night. It smelled quite good. So I went directly to Ho Chi Minh City. Ho Chi Minh City may be the last stop in Vietnam. After Ho Chi Minh City, I flew to Japan to start the next chapter of my journey because this was the first time I lost my drone. I have been flying drones for six or seven years, and this was the first time I couldn’t find it after it crashed . After the release of the last drone crash video, I received a lot of comfort, encouragement and advice from viewers. First of all, thank you to those friends who left messages. Looking back, isn’t this a compulsory course in our life? Learn to be grateful for all the companionship and learn to accept hasty farewells. After all , farewells happen every day in life . Many people have seen each other for the last time , especially people like me. The world is our home. The people and things we meet are hurriedly gathered and separated. If we cherish the meeting, we don’t have to be too sad when we part. This is Da Lat Railway Station. Many people come here. It is said that it is a railway station built by the French. There is also a small train . The Da Lat Plateau Train is quite realistic, haha, it feels real . The Da Lat Plateau Railway is shooting a music video, haha. The drone makes me sad. Watching others holding drones , hahaha, in front of me is one of Da Lat’s most representative landmarks, Da Lat Railway Station . This railway station was built in 1932 It was built by the French, so
its design was inspired by the stations in Normandy, France , and incorporates the plateau characteristics of Dalat. The triangular roof shape symbolizes the peaks of the central plateau. Dalat Railway Station was once the highest railway station in Vietnam, with an altitude of about 1,500 meters. It is the starting point of a narrow-gauge railway connecting Dalat and the plain city of Phan Thiet. Because the slope is very steep, this railway uses “cog rail” technology similar to that of Switzerland. Of course, I don’t know much about the so-called cog rail technology , so I looked up information. “Cog rail” is a railway technology specially designed to cope with steep slopes. On ordinary railways, trains move forward by friction between wheels and rails. However, when the slope is too steep, the friction between wheels and rails is insufficient and the train is prone to slipping. In this case , a “cog rail” is needed in the middle of the track. The train chassis is equipped with gears, and the gears engage with the “cog rail” to allow the train to slowly climb or descend . Dalat Railway Station was one of the most unique railway projects in Southeast Asia at that time. However, during the Vietnam War, this railway was damaged and most of the line was scrapped . Today, Dalat Railway Station is no longer used as a long-distance transportation hub. Instead, it has been opened to the public as a small tourist train station. Visitors can take a short train to this village near Dalat, enjoy the plateau scenery along the way , and finally arrive at the ancient Linh Phuoc Temple . The train station has become a viewing point. The interior of the old train station. Paris, Hanoi, London. The church we visited today. The old locomotive. Free self-service artichoke tea from 1940. There is a reason why this is grown in the train station and it is called artichoke tea. This tea is a green plant that looks like a flower bud. We will see it at the Dalat night market tonight. When I saw it before, I was curious about how to eat it . Artichoke is a plant that is mainly common in the Mediterranean region. It is also widely cultivated in Vietnam , especially Dalat , so it is a specialty of Dalat. It is usually made into tea and can also be used in cooking, making soups, and stewing pork ribs . Vietnamese people often use it in cooking to reduce heat and fire, cool down and relieve summer heat, and aid digestion. It feels like you only smell the scent of the plant, a bit like drinking Chinese medicine. Ah, but I can feel that it should be heat-clearing and detoxifying. This is also a specialty of Dalat. This hydrangea is widely planted . In the last episode, we talked about Dalat’s industry. In addition to tourism, its flowers are also one of its pillar industries. In addition to the hydrangea in front of us, there are also Dalat roses , marigolds , chrysanthemums , orchids , etc. This is because Dalat is about 1,500 meters above sea level and has a mild climate with an average annual temperature of about 18-25 degrees Celsius. The humidity is moderate and the temperature difference between day and night is large, which is very suitable for the cultivation of temperate flowers. The annual output value of Vietnam’s flower industry is about 600 million US dollars , of which Dalat contributes about 70% of the output. In addition, the market for Vietnam’s flower exports is expanding year by year. The main export destinations include China. , Japan, South Korea, Europe and other countries. Dalat holds a flower festival every two years . During the festival, flowers, vegetables and ornamental plants from Dalat and surrounding areas are displayed. This is a cafe and a teahouse . Coffee beans. This is the most common coffee variety in Vietnam, called Robusta . It tells the difficult history of building a railway. How come there are black people crossing mountains and digging holes ? At that time, France also had colonies in many parts of Africa. Some black workers must have been transported from there. The restroom attached to this train station is also very unique and beautiful . There is a Guanyin statue on the third-floor balcony of this building at this train station. Let’s go to Dalat Night Market. Thank you for watching. Like, subscribe, and leave a comment. We’ll see you next time. If you’re here, we’ll be sitting by the fire and drinking soy milk. I think that’s quite interesting. I’ll come back later. In Vietnam, in the middle of summer, people actually use fires to keep warm. It’s interesting. We saw some vendors driving out to set up their stalls. Like them, I was heading to Da Lat Night Market.
