ジャングルの下を這う:クチトンネル。ホーチミン🇻🇳ベトナム
[Music] Wow. Very tiny. Wait. Oh Oops. It’s another day. Just waiting outside the hotel. Rona’s inside just sitting there in the air conditioning cuz we got another tour today to one of the places I’ve been looking forward to going for our entire trip. And yeah, just waiting for them to come pick us up and we’ll show you what it’s going to be a bit later. [Music] Okay, so the start of our tour tunnels. Just look at a bit of a museum before we go down. I guess some more pictures. See more detail. Americans are now sit on the helicopter heavier. and you know strong kick. That’s why people [Music] inside the jungle and see movie later when we get back. inside here. That’s the tunnel system. [Music] It even goes into the river. [Music] the hole. You can stay here. Yeah. Standing Christian. Hello. [Applause] All right. Well, there you go. I’ll bring you on this chair when you come down. Some water you. Okay. Next door, please. No worry. You can see how they came later. I didn’t know how you do fell down immediately. You see when they fell down they got stuck with that stick made from bamboo. Even they not killed they got hurt but when they got home after few months few years so they got problem with their body because on the apply kited not real tunnel but in here I would like show you original site. Uh they are still got one tunnel uh not very long original tunnel during the war time still got but around here they are reveal uh look for look after from here they got over 100 meter from there get out here there. Yeah out here and then from here keep more and more that mean every four My this one original will destroy. So the tank body they have got the bullet hole set up inside the land or on the tree or forest a rifle everywhere. So every trap they call on top no one know like I tell you before just one leg of them step on so they many fighting bunker when we come inside they can tell American soldiers slowly slowly they always waiting about 5 minutes. Because there is one movie I open everyone who stay inside and this invention has been around 5,000 people during the war. Sounds [Music] When they the time depend how far where they hide the short take control. That’s actually quite deep. Oh, cannot keep for communication. Okay, see you guys. See you. Yeah. [Music] Wow. Very tiny. Wait. Oh Oops. Oh my. Careful. Okay. Over here. This is 20 m. 20 m. Yeah. If you want go to the left hand side. This is 20. Yeah. 20. Okay. Yeah. Thank you. Anyone else? Yeah. I won’t fit through that. I already bumping my size. I’m here. [Music] It’s dark. Ooh, there’s t kitchen bunker. And this is the dining room next to it with another tunnel which is just for decoration. Or maybe it’s real. We call can we can count 100 lous is it okay your body right you want me guys I’m actually allergic to n you know this tea the pandan tea pandam pandan you know pandan leaf very plain How you feel tapioca? Maybe you feel very I wouldn’t have it in a restaurant. If you only eat this one with It’s not tapioca I know. It’s not a tapioca I know from school either. Tapioca used to be a bit like rice pudding. Exactly. Frogs we used to call it when we were kids. [Music] My grandma used to make it when I was a little boy. Lifewise. Lifewise. And this is not. How come this way? I think sometimes they might put a wick in this and use it as a candle on these ones. Yeah. Look like a candle. So, we’ve come to the end of our tour and we went through the tunnels. We only went about 20 m so it was a bit cramped and hot and it was going to get smaller and smaller and my knees were not going to take it and Rona was already hot as well. um going to see a movie and then that will be it for the tunnels tour. If I had better knees, I probably would have went further through the tunnel, but you know, at least I got to experience it and can’t believe some people went all the way through them. We didn’t watch the movie. We didn’t want the propaganda, but um our guide is very informative and Rona finally saw the famous picture of the Napal girl. We got told a bit of a story about from that the naked girl from our our guide. But what did you think of the tour overall? It’s cool. I want to try to go farther in the tunnel, but I feel sweaty and really hot in there and the claustrophobic thing. I can’t do it. Yeah. Well, we only went, as I said earlier, we only went 20 m. Um, maybe I could have went another 20, but that would have been it. But it was getting smaller and my knee was just aching and it means I lower and lower and lower. He’s old enough to do that. Old enough to be in a Vietnam. No, no, no, not that old. But but it but it was really good. there to them that um the ones that’s famous in the Vietnam, the other relatives, they some some of them they’re still alive and live just nearby here. Yes, the family of the Napal girl live nearby. Anyway, we’ll leave it at that because our tour is finished and we’re going to head back to our van and go back to our hotel and eat. Yeah. And eat. UK.
Today we visit the Cu Chi Tunnels in an unforgettable experience that offers a deep dive into Vietnam’s wartime history and resilience. Located just 60 km northwest of Ho Chi Minh City, this vast underground network played a crucial role during the Vietnam War, serving as a strategic base for the Viet Cong. Today, it’s one of Vietnam’s top tourist attractions, drawing history buffs, adventure seekers, and curious travelers alike.
Touring the Cu Chi Tunnels allowed us to crawl through narrow passageways, witness hidden trapdoors, and explore underground bunkers, kitchens, and command centers. Our guide provided fascinating insights into guerrilla warfare tactics and the daily life of soldiers who lived and fought from beneath the earth. The site also features interactive exhibits, weapon displays, and even the chance to fire authentic war-era rifles, including the legendary Ak47 at a nearby shooting range.
Come along and join us as we squeeze our way through the narrow tunnels on our hands and knees.
