【東京散歩】お買い物しなくても楽しめました|銀座 walking tour japan tokyo

The first thing I noticed when I left Ginza Station in the afternoon, with the temperature at 33°C, was the aroma. High-quality fragrances emanating from brand-name stores drifted on the breeze. Located right in front of Ginza Station is Ginza Sony Park, a three-dimensional concrete park offering a relaxing time in the “white space” of the metropolis. NISSAN CROSSING displays a variety of vehicles equipped with the latest technology, including the Datsun 240Z, winner of the 19th East African Safari Rally in 1971. The second floor also houses a merchandise store and cafe. The abundant charging ports are a welcome addition. GINZA SIX, the largest commercial facility in the Ginza area , is lined with a variety of shops, including brand-name shops, general stores, and restaurants. The atrium art piece, “BIG CAT BANG,” features a spaceship inspired by the Tower of the Sun. The atrium represents a galaxy containing Earth, with countless space cats flying through the sky. While we didn’t visit it today, there’s also a free rooftop garden. A six-minute walk from GINZA SIX, the Kabukiza comes into view. It’s impressive from up close. English signs are everywhere, highlighting the large number of foreign tourists. Approximately 500 bronze wind chimes are displayed on the side of the building for a one-month summer event. Kimuraya, the original maker of anpan (sweet bean buns), offers savory bread dough and rich custard cream. Ginza 2-chome is packed with famous brand stores. In a back alley of Ginza 2-chome, a building with a deep aroma, over 90 years old, the Okuno Building , houses galleries and a wide variety of shops. The retro elevator, said to be Japan’s first, offers a retro Showa-era atmosphere. The large MUJI Ginza store houses shops on the first through fifth floors, and a gallery and cafe on the sixth floor. There’s also a hotel operated by MUJI. It’s a must-visit for MUJI fans. It’s dusk. Heading under the elevated tracks, I find a bar district. I wonder if Ginza workers drink around here? Under the overpass right next to it is “Hibiya OKUROJI,” lined with restaurants and shops that exude an adult atmosphere. If you walk further, you will come to “Ginza Corridor Street,” described as “Japan’s number one pick-up spot.” Perhaps a dramatic encounter will take place somewhere tonight. Before I knew it, I had arrived at Shimbashi Station. Did you enjoy the streets of Ginza? We will continue to post videos like this, so please rate and subscribe to our channel to encourage us. See you again!
