アルバニアで訪れるべきベストスポット トップ10 | ヨーロッパの隠れた名所を発見 | 4K旅行動画 (2025)

[Music] It’s hard to top Albania when it comes
to short hall adventure. What kept the Romans, Ottomans, and Serbs from conquering
its mountains wasn’t just strategy. These peaks are so ferocious, legend has it
the devil himself clawed them into being. Today, we share the top 10 best places to visit
in Albania that promise unforgettable experiences. From stunning natural wonders to culturally rich
cities, we unveil destinations that captivate your imagination and inspire your next adventure.
Starting with number one, Samuel. For those enchanted by descriptions of Albania as the Maldes
of Europe, should be your first point of call. This beach town has buttermilk sand beaches
like Bora Bora and Kaml beach. Many others are pebbly. These give on to looking glass
water and floating pontoons with thatched umbrellas. There are four uninhabited eyelets, the
Kaml Islands, which you can swim or pedal to from Kaml’s main beach with a picnic. The incredibly
popular Blue Eye is about 50 minutes drive away. This turquoise pool has water so clear you can see
down to 50 m or so, where an underwater cave gives the impression from above that you’re looking
into the dark pupil of an eye. At number two, Theft National Park. One for the hikers, this
national park sits in the foothills of the mountains, also known as the Albanian Alps in the
north of the country. Expect crashing waterfalls, velvety meadows, and whooshing river valleys. It’s
a great place for wildlife spotting with local residents including Shammy, lyns, wolves, and
brown bears. One of the best and easiest trails is the 5mile Theft Waterfall Trail, where you can
swim at the foot of the cascade. For more serious hikers, there’s the 119mi Peaks of the Balkans
Trail, which crosses into Kosovo and Montenegro. At number three in our list, Tana. Tana
is a whole new take on postcommunist cool. Unlike Berlin or Warsaw, it’s surprisingly
colorful with farmers markets, leafy squares, and edgy art galleries. It’s renowned for
its former military bunkers, which have been converted into trendy pizza parlors, artist
atellier, and piercing studios. In Bloku, Tana’s answer to Shortorditched in London.
You can hang out in great craft breweries like the Tap Room by Pan’s Micro Brewery and visit
exhibitions at the National Gallery of Arts. Make sure to ride the table car up Mount Dai for superb
views over the city. At number four in our list, Barat. If Tora is Albania’s London, Barat
is Bath. The UNESCO listed city center has that same picture perfect charm. It’s known as
the city of a thousand windows and its Ottoman villas tumble down the cliff to a gushing river
gorge. Their terracotta roofs and wooden windows creating a flowing patchwork. The walk to the
2500year-old fortress that crowns the clft is steep but worth it for the views. While the region
surrounding Barrett is known for its wines, a visit to Poopa Winery involves a sumptuous tasting
of their unique local grape varieties and cheeses. At number five, Scoder. Albania’s rugged north is
well known for its majestic lakes and mountains. Lake Scather or Scoder is the jewel in its
crown, a vast affair fringed with beaches, monasteries, and fishing villages. and Montenegro
on the opposite shore. Base yourself in Scoder, the city on its edge, which has a Roman era castle
and a particularly good restaurant scene. Try Artisan. Further a field, the farm-to-table eery
Mizi Ian is 100% worth the 40-minute drive from the city. One of Albania’s most popular seaside
destinations, Saranda has a buzzy center with plenty of seafood restaurants, beach clubs,
and bars. Sea view sunsets by Lusi Castle are particularly spectacular. It’s only a halfhour
drive to 2, so you could easily visit both. Be warned, though, Seronda becomes a bit of a party
town in summer. Make sure to visit Butrint, arguably Europe’s most scenic archaeological
site. Unlike its peers in Rome or Athens, this UNESCO site is usually deliciously uncrowded
with views over a coastal lagoon. At number six in our list, Himade. With its beautiful setting on
the Albanian Riviera, Himade’s sparkling turquoise waters and spectacular hilly coastline make it
a great place to head if you’re after some sun, sea, and sand. While its beaches and peaceful
seaside prominade are what most people come for, the historic old town is lovely to wander
around in. Its atmospheric tavern are full of Mediterranean charm and delicious local seafood.
Perched on top of a hill overlooking the old town is a delightful castle which offers wonderful
views over the sea. The nearby mountains also have some lovely trails and viewpoints for visitors to
enjoy. While the surrounding countryside is home to spectacular churches and monasteries such
as the Monastery of the Cross and Athalotisa. At number seven, Logata National Park. The USP of
hiking in Logata National Park is its views. The park sits among some mountain peaks set just back
from the north end of the Albanian Riviera. Hiking through thick pine forests, you get occasional
peaks down to the sparkling water. The Maya decor trail is a tricky six-mile ascent with great
panoramas. Most of the park’s accommodation and restaurants are clustered around the main
visitors center. At number eight, Gio Castro. Another UNESCO listed gem, Guido Castro is sure
to charm with its 600 or so Ottoman era manners, restored bazaar, and bustling streets full of
tempting shops and cafes. Swing by Zakate House, a stunning example of Ottoman architecture
for a tour with one of the owners. The city bursts with history. Whether you’re visiting the
spooky Cold War tunnel or listening to one of the regular performances of Albanian folk music at
Teub, a cultural space, cafe, and antique shop. At number nine, Kuya. Kuya will transport you
to an era of sultans and vazers with its Turkish baths, medieval citadel, and bustling bazaar
where you can peruse carpets and dried fruit. It was Albania’s first capital
and sits just an hour’s drive north of Toronto. Dive deep into local
folklore in the ethnographic museum. Check out the number one place in our list, Durus. Albania’s most ancient city, Durus has
a history stretching back about 3,000 years. visit for the Roman amphitheater and the pink
and white palace of King Zou, who took power, crowned himself king, and ruled until the Second
World War. There’s also a six-mile beach just outside the center that is very popular in summer.
For something quieter, head north to Kali Beach, which is smaller and more popular with locals.
