Hello hello! Hello! This is The Solo Bumpkin Travels . This time, I’m traveling from Miyagi (Sendai Port) to Hokkaido (Tomakomai West Port), taking about 15 hours. This is my first solo ferry trip as a woman. I hope you’ll be kind and supportive (and anyone with additional information in the comments is welcome!). First, I’ll head to Sendai Station. I’m neither a sunny girl nor a rainy girl, but a cloudy girl (smug face). A typhoon is currently approaching! 🌪️ I’m worried about the future… I love the announcements that keep saying “sen” I’ve arrived at Sendai Station I’ll take the bus to Sendai Port It’s a bit of a walk to the bus stop, passing the Zunda Shake vending machine. and it’s easy to find if you exit from the west exit, I just go straight down the corridor in front of me The weather is so bad, Sendai Station doesn’t look good at all Well, that happens sometimes Actually, I’m in a good mood after eating beef tongue at the station Then I bumped into this bus number 50 going to the ferry terminal Even a country bumpkin like me was able to find it If you’re not sure, follow the video Get off here It’s not the bus stop on the left Continue straight for a while Cross one crosswalk Look for the Nomura Securities building There’s no English signage, so it’s hard for foreigners to find it… Don’t let the typhoon come ~ The wind seems to be getting stronger… Once you cross the crosswalk you’ll be almost there This is it, Sendai Station, bus stop number 50 Actually, I passed it lol Everyone Be careful! Since it’s my first time, I’ll be there early to give myself plenty of time, but you can make it on the 5pm bus. You can use Suica and other transportation IC cards. Oh? Don’t scare me, this is enough to scare a country bumpkin. I made it safely . There are no English audio guides, but the last stop is the ferry terminal. Wow! Is that it!? I’m so excited! There’s also a trash can in each room. And from the window, I can see Sendai Port before departure. It’s raining a little. So, today’s room tour. The bed is nicely made.
