What a beautiful house ! Seeing such a bright room! We took a 5-hour ride (from Buon Ma Thuot to Da Lat) and all the fatigue from the winding mountain road disappeared. I really like this room. I originally wanted to rent a motorbike, but the hotel receptionist said I needed to show a Vietnamese driver’s license to rent one, which is different from Sapa. In Sapa, they just give you a motorbike without any prior knowledge . So I walked to find something to eat. The houses here are all tall and modern. No wonder the room I stayed in was only 80 yuan (about 11 US dollars). I found that most of the buildings facing the road are hotels. The competition must be quite fierce . This one seems okay . I had a cup of coffee and a piece of bread this morning. It’s 5pm now and I’m a little hungry. It’s also very cold. I really want to buy a coat. No one is wearing short sleeves, only thick coats. (Gestured to the owner that I wanted to order a plate of boiled duck and rice) (But the boss seemed to have misunderstood) My communication was not smooth. I haven’t tried this Vietnamese specialty, the orange jackfruit. Buy a box and try it. I heard that it is sweeter and more delicious than the yellow jackfruit . This box is 15 yuan (about 2.1 US dollars). 50,000 Vietnamese dong . Like this one is also 50,000 Vietnamese dong. Do you think it is better to buy this one or this one? If you are not full, then have another meal. Here is this chicken rice . You see, this chicken leg rice is close to 20 yuan (about 2.8 US dollars). Vietnamese chicken rice often has a natural golden color. It is said that the Vietnamese add turmeric powder when cooking rice. Sometimes the rice is not cooked with water, but simmered in the chicken soup. The soup contains chicken fat, so it has this golden color that makes the rice brighter and more fragrant. What kind of leaves are these? There are also some cucumbers and some pickles. Take a sip of this soup first. My soup is sour and very appetizing. There are no chopsticks. I see that people here eat with forks. I am not used to using this fork. This rice is quite similar to egg fried rice. It needs chicken fat and salt to stir-fry. I see that every table has a kettle-like and teacup-like thing. There is tea here. There seems to be chili garlic dipping sauce here. It is a chicken wing and this. Ha, I asked a lot of motorcycle guys that day . We also saw the motorcycle guy’s job. It’s a pretty hard day, basically I earn 150 yuan (21 US dollars) a day , and I work maybe 10 hours or so , which makes 4,500 yuan (about 640 US dollars) a month , which is still a pretty good income. The previous video recorded the feeling of being amazed when I first arrived in Dalat , because the climate here is so pleasant. Dalat is located in Lam Dong Province in the central and southern part of Vietnam. It is located on the Lanbin Plateau in the central plateau at an altitude of about 1,500 meters. It is surrounded by mountains and has rich natural landscapes such as waterfalls, lakes, and forests . There are many rivers in it , the most famous of which is the Dalat River. The city’s water supply is provided by the Dalat River. Dalat has a tropical plateau climate, with suitable temperatures all year round and four seasons like spring. Its annual average temperature is about 20 degrees Celsius, the highest temperature in summer does not exceed 25 degrees Celsius, and the lowest temperature in winter is not low. The temperature is 10 degrees Celsius, and it is really like spring all year round. The precipitation is 1,750 mm, mainly concentrated in the rainy season from May to October. Because it is located in the plateau, the air humidity is moderate , the summer is cool and the winter is warm. This is one of the reasons why it has become Vietnam’s most popular summer travel destination. However, Dalat’s history is not long. As early as 1893, French colonists proposed the idea of ​​building a resort in Dalat because they found that this place has the unique geographical advantage of the plateau. Then, starting in 1920, it was the French who designed and built some major buildings in Dalat, including the Bardo Palace and Dalat Railway Station, which we will visit later . During the French colonial period, Dalat became a resort for the French colonial government, attracting a large number of French officials and wealthy Vietnamese to come for vacation. They built a large number of French villas and churches here. Public buildings give Dalat’s cityscape a strong French colonial style. After Vietnam’s independence and unification, Dalat’s political status changed, but its status as a tourist city was retained . I was shocked by Vietnam twice. Once was at the highest peak in Vietnam, Pansibang Peak. There is another summer resort in Vietnam. It was also very cold. Who would have thought that Vietnam would be so cold in summer ? If you come to play in some places, remember to bring a coat. This time I just felt that I was going to a tropical country where long clothes and long sleeves were needed , so my suitcase was full of short sleeves. The motorcycle guy here is the best at drifting after riding so many motorcycles in Vietnam. Today, the motorcycle guy really took me I was startled and drifted directly on the winding mountain road. There is a lake here in the city center. It’s quite beautiful. There is a small pond on a flat land surrounded by mountains. It can’t be called a small pond, but it should be called a lake , similar to the Tianhu Lake in China. Okay, when we got here, I saw from the aerial photos that most residents play here. Let’s take a look at Dalat’s nightlife. It’s quite beautiful except that it’s a bit cold. This is the mountain city of Dalat. This is its urban area. It may be a relatively large piece of flat land, which is also its city center. There is a pretty lake in front. At night, the lights are on. This is a place for citizens to relax and have fun after dinner. I saw from the aerial photos that this is the place with the most people , so I took a taxi to this place . It ‘s not that remote . It is different from Like other cities , the nightlife is vibrant, with all sorts of food stalls. Dalat, a mountain city, is a perfect escape from the summer heat . It’s so cold ! Arriving in Dalat, I can’t help but compare it to Sapa. Unlike Sapa, where fog is a constant, I spent three days in Sapa , and every night was covered in fog, making visibility very low. It is similar to the food court in domestic shopping malls. There are many shops sharing these tables and chairs . This mall is quite good. This is a big movie theater. I haven’t seen any movies in Vietnam yet. Tickets range from 45,000 to 80,000 Vietnamese dong (about $2 to $3.5). Vietnamese movies, romances, mysteries , science fiction, and children’s films. My suitcase can’t fit any clothes , so I’ll wear this coat for two days before throwing it away. Seeing all the people coming and going , I can’t believe this is Dalat . We drove a lot of winding mountain roads today, and it seemed like we were going to a very rural and remote place. I bought an avocado, a can of cashews , 4 bottles of pure milk, and a bottle of beer, totaling 257,000 Vietnamese dong , about 77 yuan (about 11 US dollars). A bottle of cashews is 60 yuan (about 8.5 US dollars). I can’t find the exit now. Highland Coffee has chain stores all over Vietnam. It’s raining heavily, so I can’t go back for the time being.
