46🇮🇳 信じられない!😱 グジャラート州、ラニ・キ・ヴァヴ
When they discovered it, they had no idea just
how deep it would go. It must have just been a thrilling experience to just go level after
level after level. And this stepwell turned out to be one of the grandest, if not
the grandest stepwell in all of India. Good morning, Gujarat. Don’t think my outfit looks cute today.
Looks much better than yesterday. It’s the cowpoo that does it. Are we going to try and take this
thing with us for the road? This is our air conditioning. I just filled up
the water and it looks a little bit murky, but anyway. Okay. Don’t drink
that one. Don’t drink that one. Sweetie, you missed the 5:00 a.m. dance party. Very nice. Bye-bye. Nice meeting you.
Nice meeting you. Ready? Bye-bye. Ah, bye-bye. Bye-bye. Bye-bye. Goodbye. Nice place. Thank you that
you gave us a roof for the night in a nice AC room. The AC was so cold that I
was a little bit shivering in the night. Charger kick 10 rupees. Unstoppable. That’s
a lot of energy for 10 rupees. Oh yes. Good morning world. Welcome back to the channel.
It’s ride number 47. 47. Yeah. On our motorcycle adventure here in India. And we are here on the
highway number 27 near the town of Santalpur in the state of Gujarat. And we woke up at 5:00
a.m. this morning to get on the road before sunrise. Look at us go. Yeah. Because it’s the
summer here in India. And the summer is no joke. You have actually from 6:00 until 9 where the
temperatures are quite nice and then after 9:00 is like boiling hot. Yeah, the days are getting over
40° every day here in Goodat this time of year. And we don’t want to be on the bikes at 40°. Not
really. By the way, look at this truck in front of me. Do you think he’s a little bit overloaded?
Bloody hell. I reckon he could fit one more at the back if if anything. But we should be reaching
our point of interest destination for today before 9:00. And if you want to know where we’re heading,
well, just check the 100 rupee note and that might give you a clue. And this one is a super special
place. So, I’m really excited about it. Yes, our destination will come up in 2 hours. And it’s
already 6:30. So, better hit the road. Let’s go. Wow. I don’t know if you can see
on camera, but the sun has just risen up and it looks incredible. It’s
like this big red bowl. Good morning, son. Please be gentle for the first 3 hours.
And last night we checked and two days ago we actually just crossed the Tropic of Cancer.
I didn’t even know we crossed it. There were no signs. And this will actually be the third
location in the world that we have crossed the Tropic of Cancer. We first crossed it in Morocco
in 2022. We reached the Tropic of Cancer. Woo. Nice. Then we crossed it again
in Mexico in 2023. Here we go. Puerto Frizzo. Elibo Buenvare. We
have officially entered Mexico. Oh, look at this huge herd of sheep going
down the highway. And now we have crossed it again in 2025 here in India. So look at us
just driving up and down crossing the Tropic of Cancer all over the world and always
in the summer when it’s boiling hot. So that is a momentous occasion for us. Another
milestone in our journey around the world. Wow. It’s so insane. We’re going like
80 kilometers an hour. And these three guys here, they’re just hanging off the truck. Oh, they’re mad. Absolutely mad. These guys Good morning, guys. Hi. Hello. How is
this the way? I don’t know. We just turned off the highway and now we ended
up like in a cute village here. Hello, Mr. Bull. I think it’s a cow. Oh, no. It’s
a bull. Namaste. This is one of those random Google Maps ways where it’s like, you know
what? This will shave off a minute for you. Why don’t you just go through this tiny
little village on the back streets? Yeah. It’s always an adventure to go through villages
anyway. Yeah. Hello, Mr. Bull. Yeah, we get to see loads of cows or bulls. Hello, Mr. Bull. Or
oxes. It’s a little bit sandy here. Okay. Oh, sorry. Oh, no. I got I got some cowpoo on my
shoe. Hey, you’ve joined my club. The cowpoo club. In case anyone missed my awesome joke
from yesterday, if a cow was a motorbike, what kind of motorbike would it be? A Kawasaki.
And if you like jokes like that, why don’t you consider subscribing to the channel? Just click
at the bottom of the video the subscribe button. It’s totally free. But anyway, it’s
another beautiful open road this morning, apart from some cows. Hello, Cuz just making
our way through the Indian countryside. Yeah, look at this. A beautiful open road
for the morning. That’s awesome. Cute. This guy’s tying his
necklace onto his buffalo. Oh, I’m going to get you pretty for
the buffalo ball. Going to turn you into a buffalo princess. Whoa, this
guy has a milk jug on his head. Oh, wow. This does look like a cattle market. Whoa. Another overloaded truck in front of
me. I want to overtake him, but I’m not sure if there’s
any room on the road here. Oh, sorry, mate. Hello. Wow, the roads are so tight here. I mean,
this road is like Oh, look at this temple. Oh, nice. Barely two cars fitting in this road
here. Oh, wow. Look at this, guys. A camel being actually used for hauling goods. Oh,
wow. There’s another camel just in front. Wow. Hello. It’s so pretty here. Whoa, they are
massive. Yeah. Yeah. Can I pet that dog? Can I pet that dog? We are crunching those KS over the last few days. We’ve been
filling up nearly every day. Oh. Hello. Full please. Thank you. So what is the rate here? 94 rupees
per liter. It’s about 90 p a literad. Okay, there we go. All fueled up for
today. And we have also nearly arrived at our point of interest for today.
Oh, the first monkeys. Good morning, guys. Okay, we are here. We have
arrived and is completely empty. Hello. Is it okay to leave backpacks inside?
Backpacks inside there. Perfect. Thank you. Me from Germany. He from England.
Yes. Yes. But it doesn’t look like that they have a restaurant here, my
love. Maybe ask the guy. Otherwise, across the road, we can probably get a try
over there. Good morning. You have a coffee. Okay, perfect. Two coffee. Two
coffee. Snack, breakfast, something. No, just just this crisp. Okay. Okay. Good
morning. Namaste. Namaste. You are driver auto. Auto rick show driver. Driver. Okay. Rick
show driver. Nice. We motorbike. Motorcycle. Sugar. Sugar. A little bit. Tasty. Yummy. Perfect. Thank you. Awesome.
Great. That’s wonderful. So cute. Cheers. It’s good. Very good. Very
sweet. They didn’t have any food, so we’re just going to have to
have our little snack mix. Okay. This is our breakfast this morning.
Tikka nita mix. Basically deep fried. Lots of different stuff. Chickpeas
and peas. All kinds of fried goodness. You dropped one in my coffee. Oh no. Sorry. Welcome to Rani Kav. Rani Kav is an ancient stepwell built nearly a
thousand years ago in the 11th century by Queen Uda Mati in memory of her husband, King Beimma
I of the Solanki dynasty. Wow. Your shirt is blending in so well with this background. Yeah,
guys, I am sorry about all the curry stains. We will get that washed um pretty soon. The step
well is an architectural marvel. It is seven stories deep and measures 64 m long by 20 m wide
and 27 m deep. Oh, nearly fell off the cliff. Stepwell has more than 500 principal sculptures
and more than a thousand carvings depicting Hindu gods and goddesses, celestial beings and
mythological stories. And there are just carvings on every single surface here. Wow,
this place looks unreal. Wow, check that out. So many detailed carvings. Incredible. Wow. Check
that out. Wow. Incredible. Look how detailed names are. Uh, it’s a Lavi and Ollie. Yes.
Subscribe. Yes. Thank you. Thank you. Awesome. You’re from England and she from Germany.
Germany. Yes. I’m from India. Kerala. Oh, you from Kerala. We traveled Kerala. Yes. Yes.
Yes. You have a YouTube channel. You Yeah, I have a small YouTube channel. Uh, not bigger
like you. I want to subscribe to your channel. Tough Traveler. Tough Traveler. Okay. Subscribe
guys. Subscribe to Tough Traveler. Awesome. And you traveling around all different parts of
India. Yeah. Yeah. Full India tour. All over India tour. All over India. Oh, nice. And you’re
traveling by by car or train. Bike. Yeah. Are you not a car? Car is expensive. Bus and train.
And people are mostly using bike also. Yes, we using bike. Bike also. First come in Kerala.
Uh we started the trip in Kanyumari. Kanyumari and then went through Kerala and after Karnataka
and Maharashtra and now Gujarat after Rajasthan. Rajasthan is there. Delhi is there. Punjab
is there. Yeah. We want to go to Himachal. Himachal. Himachal and Ladak. Shimla. Ladak.
Yes. Ali. Yes. Yes. You you go you went. Yeah. I also nice. Very nice. Is it your first time
coming to Rani? My first time I coming here. Oh, nice. Nice. It’s impressive. So beautiful.
Traditional Indian cultures. Yes. the Hindu traditions and uh the stories they are making in
the rocks and beautiful designers sculptures. Wow, beautiful. Very beautiful. Should we check
out the very bottom? It was very nice to meet you. We see you on the road. Nice meet nice
meeting you. Awesome. I’ll follow Instagram. Yes. This is the very bottom. Wow. Seven stories
down. So, but what can you tell me about this place? Because it’s a step well, right? Yeah. It’s
not just a pretty structure. This structure has actually a practical purpose. It is actually
used to conserve and store water. But they elaborate a little bit on that. Yeah. I mean, this
is like one of the prettiest water tanks I’ve ever seen. Yes. This step well would have allowed
the people of this area to actually survive during the dry season and conserve water from the
monsoon season. But this stepwell was actually completely forgotten about and lost for hundreds
of years. The nearby river, the Sarasati River, completely flooded this entire stepwell and the
silt built up inside. And when they rediscovered it in the 1960s, it was completely full to
the top. They had no idea the beauty that lay underneath. Wow. What a love story. It is
actually a love story because it was built in memory of the queen’s husband. Wow. And you
can see the amount of love that has been put into this. Yeah. I mean, can you imagine the
moment realizing you have discovered something like this? You know, when they discovered it,
they had no idea just how deep it would go. It must have just been like a thrilling experience
to just go level after level after level and be like guys this stepwell is not stopping. And this
stepwell turned out to be one of the grandest if not the grandest stepwell in all of India.
Hence why they put it on the 100 rupee note. This shirt needs a wash. This shirt
needs to be burned. Pretty amazing actually because this place when it was
built would have been even grander than what we see here. You can see here the
bases of pillars. There would have been even more levels. Probably it would have
been built all the way to the top. So what we’re seeing here today is really only like
50% of what would have been here originally. So we have reached now the top the top end here.
Let’s check it out how it looks from. Wait, let me just test this first. Okay, it looks okay. Just
be really careful. Oh, wow. Oh, wow. Here you can actually see like sort of a round pool. There’s
probably where the water was like stored. Ah, okay. So, you think this part here is actually
the well? Yes. And then all of this was just the steps to get down to it. Yes, it was just the
entry. We were just checking out the entrance. But they’ve done a really good job with this
place. I mean, look, you got beautiful gardens, grass lawns. Everything’s just been done to such
a high standard. Yeah, it’s really pretty. It looks so so nice here. Yeah. Can you smell
the bats? Yeah, definitely bats down there. I speak English. You you speak English? Oh, very nice. You learn in school? Yes.
Oh, brilliant. Where are you from? Which surand? Oh, that’s the town city.
Oh, artistic. Okay. Yeah. Okay. Nice to meet you. Nice meeting you guys.
Nice to meet you. Nice to meet you. Oh, no. You scared him. Bye-bye. Bye-bye. A Bye.
Look, she’s waving. Bye. Let’s get on the road. It’s getting hot. Bye-bye. So, there we go. Our
visit for the day. The beautiful and ancient stepwell of Rani Kav. I wasn’t expecting too
much from this one because I was like, “Okay, it’s a well. All right. It’s a well. What can
you do with a well?” But these guys took a well to the next level. That’s the most elaborate well
I’ve ever seen in my life. Good job. All in all, just a wonderful visit. So, I would definitely
recommend coming to Rani Kav. Plus, it’s another one of the rupee note places that we have
visited. We already saw the red fort. Oh, there’s a massive old fort here on the right.
Look at this. Wow. I think the red fort is on the 500 note. And then you’ve got the Allora caves
which was on the 20 note. Wow. It looks way bigger from the inside than the outside. Huh? Like it’s
huge. Wow. And of course, Hampy, which is on the 10. We’ve just been dropped off in front of the
largest temple in Hampy, Vidopaka Temple. Look at that. But the point is, we’ve now seen three rupee
note locations. This looks like an ancient gate. Nice. Oh, I just I always love riding through
gates. Some very historic buildings here on the sides. I mean, these look like well over
a hundred years old constructions. I mean, look at this one. It’s got a
busy charm to it, this town. Oh my lord. I’m embracing it. Oh Jesus, you nearly
embraced the chaos too much. He was like, I’m coming out. Don’t care what you’re doing.
You maneuvered very well, my love. Come on, guys. get Lavy her Indian license. But these streets
are alive. I mean, this is, look, this is life lived on the streets here. Look at this. The shops
are coming right to the edge of the road. You’ve just got everybody going up and down. People
selling all kinds of stuff, people repairing stuff. I mean, this is like a whole economy
here on this street. I’m sure if you’re a local, you know exactly where to find anything you need.
You’re like, “Ah, I’ve got to get a watch. All right, I’m going to this shop. Oh, I’ve got to
get a new dress. I know the place. Of course, to us, it’s just a big big chaos. But I think
these guys know what’s going on. So, for today, we’ve decided that we are going to ride another
100 kilometers to try and make a bit of distance. The next city we’re heading to is Udaur. And we
found a hotel which is about halfway in a town called Eidar. And I gave them a call just before
and they said they had an AC room available for us for I think if I understood correctly a,000 rupees
straight here. Yeah, that’s it. Yeah, you’re good. Oops, I lost Lavy. Lost Lavy in the tunnel. Yes, I got through. Oh my god, look how much
traffic there is on the other side of the road. Let’s get out of this town. Let’s get out of here. Hello AC hole. AC hall. Okay. You have
a um thali. Yes. Okay, perfect. Coffee. I’m from Nepal. You’re from Nepal? Oh,
you’re from Nepal. Oh, nice to meet you. We want to go to Nepal after. Look at this feast.
There’s so many different elements. So, this one is made from wheats. This one is
papad. Papad. Yes. Pri dal rice rice and um katuri katuri is like chana oh chana
so like um chickpeas mixed vegetables all vegetables mixed mixed veg potatoes and samita
wa sa tita thank you look at this guys look we have a coffee then I have a glass of water I have
buttermilk and I have a lime soda because I was sweating probably like 2 lers already. Let’s put
a bit of lemon in everything. Thank you. Bonit. Bye-bye. So, that was an absolutely lovely lunch. And what
lovely people they have there. The guy serving us, he told us he was from Nepal and he was super
friendly and super nice. So, if you’re watching, thank you so much. The food was absolutely
wonderful. We had so many of those little dishes. They’re called subji. It was a
total feast and I’m stuffed. Lavi says, “Me too.” But her microphone is charging so she
can’t tell you. And it’s really interesting as well because the guys at the restaurant told
us that near to here is a small village called Vadnagar and I’m sure the Indian folks watching
this already know this but this is the place where Narendra Modi was born and grew up. So how cool is
that? And the state of Gujarat is actually a place where a lot of influential and important people
have been born including the Morgal Emperor Orang and Mahatma Gandhi. So a very important state
where a lot of important people are from. But anyway we have now Whoa, hold on this guy wants
to go. But anyway, we have now only 35 minutes to ride 32 km to reach the hotel. Plus, just before
we left the restaurant, we put a bottle of water down our jackets to get some homemade AC. So,
I am ready. Let’s do the last bit of this ride. So, we are just rolling into the town of
Eidar. And is surrounded by hills. Loads of rocky bouldery hills all the way around
the town. It’s quite the place for a town. And quite a nice change from all the vast flat
land that we’ve been passing through recently. And our accommodation is actually
just here. I see it. This is our first try. Hotel Raj Deep AC rooms. I
think they have ice cream parlor. Oo. Okay, let’s go see if they got a room for us.
Wow, we hit the jackpot today. Check out this room. And the owner just told us as well
that this room was built a year ago. So, it’s so new and so clean. And check
out this view. What is this pose about this? I agree. Okay. Anyway, check out this view. I hope you can see all these awesome boulders in
the background. I mean, it just looks stunning. What a nice area here. Really, I can’t believe
it. It’s so cool. And this is the bathroom here as well. Really nice. Really new. We have the
shower over there. And then we have a bucket shower as well. Hello. No, seriously. I couldn’t
be more happy. Yeah, we’ve been super lucky with this accommodation. And we’ve been really lucky
on the road recently as well. Such a good day yesterday. Such a good day today. The Rani Kav
step well was just awesome. So, it’s been a good couple of days. So, I really can’t wait what
tomorrow will bring. But that’s it from us today. We hope you enjoyed the video. If so, please
give us a thumbs up, subscribe to the channel, share the video with your friends and family,

Lovely watching you both,I really enjoy it, thanks ❤❤
Architecture wise the Rani ki Vav is also designed as an inverted temple.
It is actually an inverted temple. Just imagine the level of 3D architecture they have planned 1000 years ago.
If not sure if it is Mr. Bull or the Mrs., try to milk it….😅
13:41 dog asking for some namakeen 😂
Those trucks you say are overloaded, are not, they carry animal fodder, bulky and light hardly any weight. Just plain voluminous. You'll see more as you move north. Ride on safely.
The facts punjab is badly hit and so is himachal and kashmir. It is September. Winters around the corner. Not the best time for ladakh. Seriously I suggest ride over. Enter Nepal from the banbassa crossing. Study it on the map. One can ride along the highway eastwards to bardia national park and pokhara. Kathmandu and east to siliguri. Winter is the best time for the NE states. Shillong and nagaland have music festivals. Tawang and gangtok are still easier than ladakh in winter.
