Expo’s Grand Ring Is World’s Largest Wooden Structure.

In Japanese architecture, it is possible to build without using nails using the traditional construction method called “kigumi”.

    The large roof ring is a building with a width of about 30 m, a height of about 20 m, an inner diameter of about 615 m, and a circumference of about 2 km, connected in a circle of 109 wooden frame units.
