Okay, let’s begin our journey to Taipei Zhongshan Station! The clear weekend skies bring a refreshing breeze. A stroll through the southern section of MRT Zhongshan Station, where I want to take S. Explore the latest trends and trendy atmosphere. Discovered a quality coffee shop hidden away near Taipei Zhongshan Station. Whether you’re a coffee lover… Still a design follower This is a place worth stopping to savor. Natural materials such as wood, leather, and ceramics are interwoven throughout the space. Here, you’ll experience a warm and tranquil atmosphere. The meticulous brewing process It makes you eager to enjoy the delicious coffee. The iced Americano is refreshing yet complex. All five senses are filled with beautiful elements. A delightful experience. This is a fusion coffee. Japanese minimalist design. A corner of the city with everyday beauty. S had already been quietly drawn to the crowds next door. The bustling entrance dining area exudes a traditional Taiwanese atmosphere. The menu is affordable and diverse. Seeing the soup dumplings being made fresh made me feel hungry. Joining the Japanese and Korean tourists Ordering and waiting for the food to be called. Hurry up and get the food to the table! The steamed bun with egg feels so soft in my hand. The texture of the sourdough and the tender, salty flavor of the scallion egg. A simple delicacy! Next, let’s eat the meat buns. The delicious combination of the greasy pork and the fragrant soy flour. No wonder there are crowds morning, noon, and night. Full of energy, I strolled to the nearby Museum of Contemporary Art. Taiwan’s first art museum dedicated to contemporary art. The historic building’s nostalgic exterior carries a contemporary artistic essence. This is a hidden gem of art in a corner of the city. Next, head to the restaurants on your bucket list. Taste the freshest flavors of Hualien, the Pacific Coast. Along the alleys near the Regent Taipei Hotel. Attracted by an understated, elegant shop Stepping inside with curiosity Browsing the books and magazines on the shelves The warmth of the book is hidden within. Welcome to “”Qiaoqiao Haoshi Zhongshan Branch”” Wandering through the streets and alleys, you’ll always encounter wonderful surprises. Qiaoqiao Food was also recognized by the first “”500 Sweets”” award. Every scone is freshly baked and handmade that day. The staff carefully explained the various scone textures. Scan the QR code and check out in a split second~ haha Use the Jiekou coins you earn back from paying your utility bills to offset your purchases. These are the little joys in life! Mille-de-la-vie scones, heated on site A delicate aroma paired with luxurious fresh cream The scones and fresh cream melt in your mouth The layers create a rich taste One is definitely not enough for two people I chose the strong matcha flavor for the second one. You can immediately redeem your Street Coins for a discount. Hand-kneaded scones are even fluffier. The rich, bittersweet flavor of matcha. An unexpectedly wonderful stay! The fixed fish farm focuses on “”direct from the source, local customs.”” Located in a standalone building next to the Regent Taipei Hotel Join the queue for collagen milt soup. And Taiwan’s long-standing fishing culture. The restaurant exudes the warm atmosphere of a fishing village. A limited-edition item exclusive to the Zhongshan branch Served with Du Jia’s iTQi-awarded Ogawa chili oil Exquisitely seared saury fillet Served with collagen milt broth A new flavor combination of “”fresh, fragrant, numbing, and spicy”” in one bowl Cheeseful noodles paired with the restaurant’s rich homemade sesame sauce. A rich, spicy flavor! The “”500 Dishes”” recommended “”Yuzu Pepper Noodles”” is also served. A fusion of fish broth and the refreshing aroma of yuzu pepper. Paired with finely chewy noodles. Amazingly delicious! Soup and rice brimming with seafood The fish roe broth further enhances the flavor. The shallot broth is incredibly flavorful. Instantly, a familiar, traditional flavor comes rushing in. A treat that allows for refills of soup and noodles. Feel the full warmth of Taiwanese people! Fresh yet not fishy, rich yet not greasy, this is a rare example of Taiwanese roe broth ramen. Tucked away in an alleyway is a popular Japanese-style noodle shop. This is an Italian noodle shop run by a Japanese chef. You can enjoy the Japanese-style soy sauce, cream, and mentaiko flavor. The freshly made delicacies, carefully preserved in their sauce, are worth savoring. Continue exploring along the tree-lined avenues of Zhongshan North Road. Inamachiya has two branches near Nakayama Station. Dashi-based curry with Osaka spices. I was captivated by the blue rice grain logo on the pure white wall. Okinawa Blue brings a soothing feeling. The aroma of curry at the door calls us. Ordered the limited-edition signature flavor, Red Wine Beef Cheek Spiced Curry. Tender, premium-quality beef cheek. The curry sauce has a slightly sour and spicy flavor. A cow only has two precious cheeks. Garnishes can create a variety of rich flavors. Cherry tomatoes can add a layer of sweetness. Every bite is a surprise! Amazing Osaka-style curry! Wandering to the next intersection On a popular street, there’s a striking white building. It’s a fruit cafe that’s become popular on Threads and Instagram. Netizens rave about the amazing durian latte. I’m dying to try every fruit flavor. Zumbiba’s name was inspired by Zumba. Combining the spirit of health and sunshine The line is really long. Put this on your list! A classic red Kingfisher banner flutters at the entrance. Ira Cola, featuring a century-old recipe blended with traditional herbs. Originally launched on the streets of Tokyo as a mobile food truck. An old house with a retro feel at the corner of the street. An innovative cola crafted with a natural herbal aroma. A refreshing herbal flavor for summer. There’s even a retro Japanese vending machine in the back of the shop. The ice cream parlor next door is also starting to fill up in the afternoon. The specialty is Taiwanese hand-shaken ice cream. A fun and refreshing summer treat. A cool afternoon breeze blows. There are many shops around Xinxinshan Linear Park that are fun to visit, have fun in, and buy great things to do. There are also pop-up shops in collaboration with trendy brands. You can even enjoy American-style soft serve cookies while shopping. I love strolling along the sunny, green, tree-lined streets. “”Summer Highlights”” “”Flower Joy Me”” Opening Theme Event Connecting the North and South Sections of the Zhongshan Linear Park Old-fashioned Street Food A wonderful taste of childhood The market is filled with Japanese-style street food Savory and sweet aromas permeate the air

The chef’s craftsmanship is attracting crowds. Sprinkled generously with dried bonito flakes, it’s a comforting treat. A giant taiyaki filled with red bean cream. The aroma of yakisoba (Japanese noodles) is incredibly appetizing. Yakisoba, takoyaki, taiyaki—you can order them all here! Let’s enjoy Cheers with Lay’s! Various fun and interactive experiences Amidst the beautiful summer festival Explore your own style Luckily met my favorite host, Feng Tian Wandering around the Xinzhongshan South Market Compared to the northern section of the mountain, this place has a more laid-back atmosphere. I’d love an iced latte this afternoon. The exterior has a playful, retro American feel. It’s a great place to rest and recharge. Wow! Everyone’s retreating to the harbor. S will probably like this berry blend coffee. A top layer of misty milk foam sprinkled with chopped dried strawberries, topped with pink macarons and basil leaves. A wonderfully sweet and sour summer experience! ABCD.A in the alleyway was recommended by “”500 Sweets”” Delicious donuts made with carefully selected ingredients Small batches and repeated production ensure fresh, freshly made taste Exquisite, like a work of art The owner meticulously explains the characteristics of each flavor The popular strawberry and pink pepper donuts sold out instantly! Loco-style bibimbap originated from the daily life of Hawaiian fishermen. Cut fresh raw fish and toss with sea salt, seaweed, and macadamia nuts. A quick energy booster. Refreshing and non-greasy. A delicious dish perfect for a hot summer day. The fragrant Pujia Studio Here’s our latest favorite: sourdough bread. Rated by many customers as the best sourdough bread in Taipei! I arrived too late, and the items were almost sold out. “”KATSU Xin”” is very particular about its ingredients. Supporting small, local Taiwanese pig farmers. Crispy pork cutlet fried in non-GMO sunflower oil. Tender, hearty pork paired with a soft-boiled egg. Every bite was incredibly satisfying! Wandering through the linear park in the southern section of Xinxin Mountain Saw many popular restaurants Retro American-style restaurant Salads, fried chicken, pizza, pasta—everything is available. Always full. It makes you want to find out more. Put it on your pocket list first! Across the street is a new brunch spot called Local Local. Creating a daily daytime party Specializing in open-face sandwiches with a variety of flavors The utility poles and reflectors create a street corner atmosphere. Wander behind the Shin Kong San Francisco branch. A popular spot for alleyway food Luckily, there’s still seating inside. Hurry in and savor the food! Affordable meals The popular steamed dumplings are constantly being handmade. Watching the next table receive basket after basket of steamed dumplings. So excited! Finally, the steamed dumplings are piping hot. The steamed skin is incredibly firm and chewy. The filling is rich and juicy. Let’s try the original flavor first. Even with soy sauce and white vinegar, it’s even more delicious. Immerse yourself in the delicious flavors one after another! There was already a line outside the restaurant. Attracted by the sound of sharp knives from next door From the popular Dongyin Snack Shop in Taipei’s Songshan District The sweet and simple beef broth paired with the wontons is a true Taiwanese flavor. The braised pork rice with fatty meat is greasy and shiny. Home-cooked deliciousness The restaurant’s signature braised dishes are a must-order for every table. A subtle aroma of star anise. Heating braised dishes warms the heart and stomach. Can’t stop eating. I’ve been captivated by the fast-food braised dishes! After enjoying Taiwanese braised food, I’m craving some high-calorie American burgers. The understated black and mysterious feel creates a trendy and fashionable look. Butcher’s name comes from a group of friends who started with meat. Using American Choice beef for a variety of burgers. Burgers topped with special Butcher’s mayonnaise. Served with seasonal lettuce, tomatoes, and grilled onions The aroma of beef fat Opening a shop will attract foodies. Enjoy these meaty burgers on the street! S is even more excited than I am. The onion aroma is so strong right from the moment I hold it in my hand. The melted cheese looks delicious. The juicy burger patty hits you right in the mouth. The onions and tomatoes provide a nice balance of sweetness. Immersed in a world of greasy, salty flavors S was already refusing to let go Thankfully, she regained her composure. A delicacy you absolutely have to high-five! The pizza place across the street is already packed. Looking at it, I’m tempted to try it. Mainly featuring popular New York City flavors. Available in 12-inch and 20-inch sizes. Also available as single slices for takeout. The aroma of basil, oregano, and mozzarella cheese The slightly charred crust is incredibly tempting. The freshly baked pizza is incredibly hot. That’s the flavor, a tangy New York street food. Every bite is bursting with flavorful cheese. A truly satisfying street food experience! I’m so glad I had a wonderful time here. There are so many quality restaurants waiting to be discovered around Taipei Zhongshan Station.
I really love your filming and reporting style!
I’m heading to Fukuoka next week — are there any must-visit spots you’d recommend?
Also, your feature on the Zhongshan area was great, but there’s a low-key shop called Smile Froyo that doesn’t do much advertising yet has an amazing reputation. You should check it out next time — I heard they’re about to open a shop in Japan soon.
Hi ~JS just kick in your channel by chance ! Fantastic video 👍 Like the back group music too ! Feeling so relaxing and at the same time watching 🙏Already subscribe and like given 👌 Taiwan is a very best country. Been visited two months ago! Stay well ! Best wishes from 🇨🇦
