[パリ8日間旅 Part1🌼]夏のパリを楽しみ尽くす🥐滞在費用|街歩き|交通アプリ・ミュージアムパス解説|美術館めぐり・人気ベーカリー|老舗ビストロ

Hello ☺️ This video is part 1 of my 8-day trip to Paris Museum Pass and transport tickets, strolling through the city, delicious restaurants and bakeries. This is a tour of a popular local bistro, art museum, and church. I hope this will be helpful for your trip 🌼 It’s my first trip to Paris in about 7 years ☺️ I’m really looking forward to it as it will be my first time going in the summer. From Vancouver to Paris with a transfer in Montreal ✈️ On my flight, reading a book by my favorite YouTuber Ryoko,
who shares daily life and travel in Paris ✈️ Her videos—with friends and all—are always fun and uplifting.
Totally recommend them! ☺️ I arrived in rainy Paris ☔️ I couldn’t sleep at all the night before departure or on the plane 😨 Take the Roissybus from the airport to Paris and the Opera House. I bought the ticket at the ticket machine in the airport, but you can also purchase it using the app. If you’re using the app, download Île-de-France Mobilités, and if you’re on iPhone, use Wallet as well. ① Select iPhone → ② Single Ticket → ③ Skip → ④ Purchase and add to Wallet We’re iPhone users, so we couldn’t test it on Android. Please check it out by searching. You can use your iPhone by simply adding the ticket to Wallet. It’s also easy to tap through the gate or buy extra tickets. It takes about an hour to get to the Paris Opera House. It’s convenient to choose a hotel within walking distance of the Opera House. There is a luggage storage area near the exit. It’s pouring rain, but we’ve arrived at the Opera House! We’re in Paris! 🥺♡ I’m excited to see the building. I booked a hotel that was a 20-minute walk away, but it’s super cold and I’ll have to carry my suitcase with an umbrella…😭💔 The rain is starting to let up ✨ I passed the hotel where I stayed with my mother seven years ago and it brought back memories 🥺 I hate rain, but this city under cloudy skies and wet with rain feels romantic. It’s lovely✨ After dropping off my luggage at the hotel, I headed to a popular Parisian bistro..though I was so tired my mind was completely set on udon. As a little travel rule of mine, I make myself try something Parisian first… 😂 This is what my completely wiped-out body was craving… Both the udon and the rice were delicious and comforting. Recommended if you miss Japanese food✨ Wow! A bowl of udon costs about 2,500 yen! 💸 Right next to Sanukiya, we went to Monoprix, a popular affordable supermarket in Paris. Eco bags are popular souvenirs, so I bought a variety of designs. Each one costs around 2.5 to 3.5 euros They also sold tote bags, tableware, food, and clothes. Since our booking wasn’t until 4 p.m., we decided to meander and make little detours on the way. This is the Louvre Museum. It’s so stylish. I have a reservation for another day, so I’m just passing through. I love the Art Nouveau style entrances to the Paris subway. It started to rain heavily again, so we took shelter in a cafe near the Louvre. I’m feeling a bit unwell due to fatigue and cold 😨 No way! I don’t want to admit it… The moment he turned around, he saw me walking unsteadily with my eyes rolled back, and apparently he got scared 😂 After a break, we head to Sainte-Chapelle, a Gothic chapel famous for its stained glass windows. A quick 2-minute guide on how to use the Museum Pass—it was super handy for sightseeing 🗒️ On the official online site, you can choose from three purchase periods: 2 days, 4 days, and 6 days. We bought a 4-day pass (96 hours). Hit 5–6 spots and it basically pays for itself. Recommended for people who have many tourist attractions they want to visit. Examples of six popular spots, including the Louvre, the Arc de Triomphe, and the Palace of Versailles. In this example, the usual total would be about 110€. A four-day pass costs 90€, so you save 20€ (about 3,000 yen). There is a list of eligible spots on the Museum Pass official website. There are apparently over 50 spots. For some facilities, you must make a reservation in advance on the official website. You can check timeslots in the list of places that require reservations. Please note that even if you purchase a museum pass, you cannot enter unless you make a reservation. The Sainte-Chapelle you are about to visit also requires a time reservation. First, go to the official Sainte-Chapelle ticket purchase page. Check “I already have a ticket” If you look at the price, it’s 0€. Once you have selected your date and time and completed your reservation, your tickets will be sent to you by email. At the entrance, show both the museum pass saved on your smartphone and the ticket with the reserved time slot. Most places don’t require a time reservation, so you only need to be careful with a few 🙂 It’s a good idea to check the reservation slots and closing days before purchasing and decide on the start date of use🗒️ After a rest, my energy recovered a little. I walked to Sainte-Chapelle on the Île de la Cité. He slept soundly on the plane 😴 He’s energetic because he can fall asleep quickly anywhere! It’s an enviable ability…🔥 Your umbrella is tiny… In the 13th century, King Louis IX of France purchased Christ’s Crown of Thorns for a huge sum and built the Sainte-Chapelle to house it. It was later exhibited at Notre Dame Cathedral, but after the fire in 2019 it is only available on special occasions. The rain-soaked exterior and the way it blends into the cloudy sky are also fascinating. The chapel on the first floor. The indigo blue ceiling is beautifully decorated with golden fleur-de-lis emblems. The craftsmanship using large colored glass and stones is so beautiful. I love stones and glass so much that I can’t stop staring at them. As you go up the spiral staircase, you will be greeted by 15 stained glass windows covering the entire wall. Seen in person, it’s an enormous, soaring wall of stained glass. It’s breathtakingly beautiful and seems to shine even more on sunny days! The wall decorations are also beautiful. The vibrant blue is eye-catching. Surrounded by stained glass, you will feel as if you are standing inside a kaleidoscope. It’s so beautiful, I highly recommend it ☺️ I arrived in Paris early in the morning and had planned to enjoy the whole day, but unfortunately I was not feeling well. Returning to the hotel 🥺 The hotel I stayed at was clean and the staff were very kind. It was also great that you could get free water on the first floor at any time! It’s nice to see the flowers from this window. Two weeks ago in Paris, it was a whopping 37 degrees! 😳 I was worried, so I looked for a hotel with air conditioning. …But in the end, it’s going to rain for two days and not get too hot. There is also a mini fridge. The hotel is located in the 9th arrondissement of Paris, a 20-minute walk from the Opera bus stop. 30-minute walk to the Louvre Notre Dame and the Pantheon are just a 30-minute bus ride away, which was convenient. The 10th arrondissement and Gare du Nord area of Paris are known to have some unsafe areas, so be careful of dangerous places during your stay. Good night and prepare for tomorrow 😴 The second morning, breakfast at the hotel was €16. Yogurt, bread, eggs, and fruit. There was also ham and sausage. Bottled yogurt, so cute 🥛 It’s raining but let’s enjoy the second day 😊 Heading to a popular bakery You can see the Louvre from the bus route. Arrived in Poilâne The apple tarts 🍎 I was looking for were lined up. Everything looks so delicious💕 This sable is extremely popular with Japanese tourists 👀✨ and is said to be simple, with a buttery aroma that is addictively delicious. He loves apple desserts, so I chose apple pie over sables. Nice smell🤤 Folded butter dough🧈 Inside is a thick apple puree and a row of baked apples. The slightly salty dough brings out the sweetness of the apples, making it delicious⭐️ Walk to the Musée de l’Orangerie. So peaceful. The Orangerie Museum is located in the Tuileries Gardens So beautiful…✨ Monet’s “Water Lilies” rooms — beautiful. A world that makes my heart feel pure and transparent… I’m enchanted by all the colors and brushstrokes. A quiet, oval-shaped space with natural light Apparently Monet himself designed this exhibition space with this in mind. The souvenir shop had a lot of Monet items. I stayed for about two hours 🖼️ If you don’t make a reservation for a specific time, you’ll have to wait in line. It was raining so I felt bad 😞 The rain-soaked world sparkles It’s getting humid and hot, so I went to buy some drinks. I ordered a matcha latte and ginger lemonade. I’ve been wanting a Polène bag for years, but I kept hesitating over which one to choose and never bought it.😇 Him: “You’re not still debating it, are you?!🤯” The bag has become more expensive by over 30% in the few years I’ve been thinking about buying it. I finally made a decision. He said he wanted to gift it to me because I’d always wanted one—so he did.🥹✨ Dropped off my luggage at the hotel, then headed to a traditional bistro! A long-established bistro in Paris with many local regulars as well as tourists The atmosphere is amazing! It feels like you’ve traveled back in time with the chalkboard-style menu 👀 I deciphered it with a translation app! The red gingham tablecloth and the paintings on the walls create a lovely atmosphere. You only pay for what you drink. 🍷 They just hand you the whole bottle. You can tell how much you drank by what’s left ✨ The food served on a large plate is very filling! We’re …sure we’ll be able to finish it all!😳(!) Duck thigh confit Speaking of France! Escargot Steak with onion sauce and a side of potatoes Bon appétit 😋 This was the first time I used the escargot tongs. The steak was a lean cut with a clean, light flavor. The duck meat is crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, and the potatoes have absorbed plenty of duck fat. The saltiness is quite mild, but adding mustard instantly enhances the flavor and makes it delicious. They gave us the leftovers to take home 🙂 We enjoyed walking around the city before heading back to the hotel. Is this a face…? (It’s kind of scary…) The doors and decorations are so beautiful… Pixel art is common on walls in Paris 👀 Today was another lovely day ☺️ I’ll rest well tonight 😴 the next day Pick up a late breakfast at a popular local bakery 🥐 Everything is homemade with carefully selected ingredients✨ Lots of popular breads! I’m looking forward to it…😍 I really like the interior of the store too. I can’t decide between a sandwich and a burger 😚 I want to eat everything… I want to increase my stomach capacity⚡️ I like my croissants crispy on the outside and rich and buttery on the inside! This one isn’t super buttery, but it’s delicious—I can see why it has so many fans. Next up is the favorite, Cream Puff☁️☁️☁️ Mmm… so good! 😍 Crispy choux pastry with cold vanilla bean cream. One is not enough. I like the bus better than the subway because you can see outside☺️ The pattern on this wall, Doesn’t it look like a brain? Crossing the Seine to the Left Bank Every angle looks like a postcard. The Musée d’Orsay, formerly a train station. Here, the Museum Pass works without a time reservation. The high ceilings and large clock still retain the atmosphere of the time. “Starry Night over the Rhone” with stars twinkling in a beautiful indigo night sky is my favorite painting by Van Gogh ☺️ The “Imperial Crown in a Vase” appears as if bursting with light A radiant sunset and beautiful air The sound of the wind and the smell of flowers Soft light…nice picture The souvenir corner has beautiful postcards and There were bookmarks too✨ The pins/badges were cute too. I bought a postcard. It’s so wonderful… The painting he said he liked most here felt “quiet” and “solitary,” with a pleasing sense of straight lines. The reason he likes it is a bit like him 😂 He says he doesn’t find impressionist paintings appealing. It’s true… you were pretty quiet at the museum yesterday. Wow, it’s like a dream world 🫧 I stayed there for about 3 hours. He suddenly said in a tiny voice, “I’m buttered 😞” Apparently he completely forgot that he had put the unused butter from breakfast in his pocket… The butter completely melted, my bag and jacket were all greasy, and the buttery smell was so strong He was a bit shocked by the butter incident. 😂 He said he wanted ice cream to cheer himself up. (In my head I was like, “If we’re in Paris, let’s get Paris-only ice cream!”) …he insisted on having Häagen-Dazs instead! Even when he gets a double scoop of ice cream, he always gets vanilla flavor only 🍦 In the end, he said Canadian vanilla tastes better. Is that true? 😹 But it seems like he’s feeling a little better. I’m glad ☺️💕 I had a burger that I bought at the bakery this morning ✨ Arrival at Notre Dame Cathedral: Admission is free, but reservations are difficult Reservations can only be made on the day, the next day, and the day after that, and the three-day slots always seem to fill up quickly. It was sold out so I gave up, but when I checked the next day, there was a spot available so I was able to make a reservation. You can make a reservation through Notre Dame’s official website 📝 Click Reservation → Select the number of people → Select the tour date and time If a time slot is available, it shows up; if not, it’s marked “sold out.” It seems you can get in without a reservation if you line up. Construction of Notre Dame Cathedral began in the 12th century and took approximately 180 years to complete. The exterior is said to be a masterpiece of Gothic architecture and is so beautiful! I’ve always wanted to go there again, so I’m happy. It seems the upper tower isn’t open yet. The walls are cleaned white and the lighting is bright. It used to be darker, giving it a mysterious feel. I really liked the atmosphere of the darkened walls and dim lighting that give off a sense of history. This is how it looked when it was first built. The new look is also shiny and beautiful. Notre Dame Cathedral was the most memorable place I visited with my mother a few months before the fire. It was my first time seeing a Gothic cathedral, and I was captivated by the stone arches and glittering stained glass. The rainbow of colors that shines through the stained glass gently colors the white walls. The enchanting rose window that my mother loves The design is so beautiful down to the smallest detail that it takes your breath away… A commemorative coin machine 🪙 It’s quite big✨ The gold lines stand out beautifully against the pale orange and blue. Tickets for the treasury inside the cathedral can be purchased in front of this entrance Inside are rows of holy relics and beautiful sacred objects. The stained glass of St. Genevieve was so beautiful that I stopped in my tracks when I first saw it. Relics such as bones and clothing associated with saints are kept in beautiful containers as symbols of faith. Doors decorated with beautiful plant motifs Notre Dame Cathedral was beautiful and we stayed there for about an hour and a half. He had a butter incident and couldn’t eat any butter-based foods for a while. A Chinese restaurant called “La Cuisine de Chez Moi” (literally “The Cuisine of My Home”) introduced by Ryoko, a French government-certified guide. This is squid salad with soy sauce and vinegar as the base. The squid was so soft!! The price is very reasonable for this volume… The Xiaolongbao is delicious… the soup is also delicious, the best The simple fried rice with cucumber and egg is also delicious. Family-run with one chef and one waitress✨👨‍🍳👩‍🍳 So the food is served slowly 🕊️ for those who can wait patiently while chatting ☺️ I ate it all and the plate was sparkling clean. I was so satisfied…If you’re craving Asian food, this is the place for you! The next video will be Paris Vlog Part 2 🙂 Flea markets, recommended cafes and restaurants🧁☕️, museums, churches, and a wonderful walk around the city continues☺️ Thank you for watching🌼
