This time, I’m introducing Shebala, Saudi Arabia’s futuristic paradise. Announced in 2024, this resort is a modern-day miracle: the desert nation of Saudi Arabia is creating an underwater paradise. Before I get into the video, I’d like to give you an overview of the location . Located on an island in the Red Sea off western Saudi Arabia , the Red Sea Project is a development project that is currently building unique hotels like Shebala , never seen before. Shebala Resort’s futuristic exterior isn’t the only thing that makes it so appealing: its 100% renewable electricity and water system, unique features in the rooms, and the beautiful surrounding ocean. It’s a great choice for couples and families , and the region’s low rainfall makes it a great honeymoon destination. To get to Shebala , we drove from AlUla, which I introduced previously. Touring the Red Sea Project resorts along with AlUla is a highly recommended Saudi Arabian travel route. I’ll share more details in my vlog . Enjoy your stay at Shebala Resort, a spaceship-like resort hotel that’s landed in Saudi Arabia . First, some planning. This resort’s beach villas cost about 500,000 yen per night, and overwater villas are about 600,000 yen, making it quite luxurious. Normally, I’d like to stay two nights at my favorite resort, but I wanted to explore the other Red Sea Project hotels, so I managed to plan a one-night stay that would allow me to fully enjoy it. First, regarding how to get to the island, you can choose between a seaplane or a boat. We’ve taken the seaplane several times on our previous world trips, so this time we decided to keep it affordable and go by boat. Another important factor was the time of arrival. Since they arranged our check-in and check-out times to coincide with the boat departure, we chose to arrive as early in the morning as possible. We chose to leave as late in the evening as possible, allowing us to fully enjoy the resort. Okay, we’ve finally arrived. We’ve arrived. This is now the waiting room for the speedboat that will take us to Shebara, and from here on, a luxurious journey awaits. A luxurious journey , I’m so happy. To have arrived. Rich. I think it was November of last year. Right. So it’s only been open for about six months. These villas are brand new. After checking in, we were taken on a tour of the grounds. The Shebara has 35 beach villas and 38 overwater villas. Each room is mirrored and designed to blend in with the surrounding scenery. Each one is like a sustainable work of art. In addition to the villas, there are a total of five restaurants and beach bars, further rounding out this extraordinary experience. The gym here is also one of my favorites, a wonderful place to get your body and mind in shape while enjoying the amazing view, arguably the best gym on the planet.
