🇰🇷分断の痛みを越えて平和へ:臨津閣&DMZツアー🕊️
Hello, I’m a Korean lady. I’m traveling around Seoul today. You can travel from Seoul Station to Munsan Station to Imjingang Station. There are no direct trains from Seoul Station to Imjingang Station, so please make sure to check. If you’d like a free one-day guided tour on weekends, please contact us. We arrived at Imjingak. We can take the gondola to the DMZ, so we’ll board. Before purchasing a boarding pass, you’ll need to fill out a security form. This is the price. Foreign language guides are also available. If you need ID, you can purchase a boarding pass. After purchasing your boarding pass, board the gondola. The boarding pass is a round-trip ticket, so please keep it until you return. The gondola is hot. This is my first time experiencing this . It’s a special experience to visit the DMZ from the air, not by land. I can’t go any further. I can see my feet. They said the gondola ride takes 10 minutes, but I felt like I arrived in 5 minutes. We’ve just arrived . We can explore the observation deck . It’s too hot, so you can borrow an ice pack. Thanks to that, it’s a little cooler. You can also borrow an umbrella to cover your eyes. Let’s go up to the observation deck. There’s a ribbon praying for peaceful unification. This represents the spot where the summits of North and South Korea once walked together. I’ll walk there too. The view from the observation deck is beautiful. Of course, you can’t see North Korea from here. It’s an experience visiting a place that civilians cannot freely enter. I’ll return to Imjingak. Imjingak is packed with convenient facilities, including cafes, restaurants, and convenience stores. The history of Korea’s illnesses is everywhere. Let’s go now. This is the Seeds of Peace . Anyone can ring the Peace Bell for a fee . Other events are held here on the last day of each year. Behind the Seeds of Peace, there are also various exhibition facilities . Let’s go to the dogleg. Dokgae Bridge originally played an important role in crossing the Imjin Stream and connecting Seoul to Sinuiju. The rusty Gyeongui Line steam locomotive on display is the most vivid symbol of the tragedy of the Korean War. The locomotive still bears over 1,020 bullet and shell marks, a vivid testament to the horrors of war. While the locomotive no longer operates, it serves as a living historical educational site, conveying the pain of war and the desire for peace to future generations. A ticket to the Dogleg costs 2,000 won. Foreign language options are available . The bridge, which was destroyed during the war, was restored in 2017 and is now used as a tourist spot offering up-close views of the DMZ. The 104-meter-long bridge, known as the “Dogleg Skywalk,” offers a glass-floored section overlooking the Imjincheon Stream and the railway. We hope that this path will continue into the future. Exit the Dogleg and take a break in the small park. Imjingak Peace Park is quite large, but we’d like to introduce you to a hidden cafe. It’s hidden behind a building across from Seeds of Peace. It’s open only on Saturdays and Sundays. FOURB DMZ is a unique cafe where you can view the railway, which no longer operates. There’s also a FOURB cafe within Peace Park. Please visit there on weekdays. There’s also a small amusement park in Imjanggak. There are many quiet spots here and there, making it a great place for a picnic . It’s a cute little park. The June 25th War Abduction Memorial Hall is a space built to commemorate the pain and restore the honor of the civilians abducted by North Korean forces during the Korean War. It was so hot that I entered this space, and it was so hot that I found myself deeply moved. Inside the memorial , actual materials, such as photographs, relics, and documents of the abductees, are on display. Beyond the tragedy of war, the message emphasizes the dignity of human rights and the importance of peace. The memorial goes beyond simple history exhibits and serves as an educational space that incorporates the desire for peace and unification for the future. By honoring the sacrifices of over 100,000 civilians abducted during the Korean War, we hope to provide some relief for their honor and the pain of their families. This memorial is an important place that sheds light on the issue of abductees, a little-known aspect of the pain left by the Korean War, and encourages us to reconsider the precious value of peace. There should be no more war anywhere. There are walls and memorial sculptures with the names of abductees engraved on them. I found the names of my family members here for a while, which is why I was so moved. Finally, let’s take a look at Peace Park. This cafe is open even on weekdays . I went to the Windmill Garden, where I pray for peace. The Windmill Garden is a popular photo spot. I hope everyone’s wishes are carried by the wind. Kite-blowing is a traditional Korean game. When you come here, you often see kites burning. How was your tour of Imjingak Peace Park and the DMZ today? This is an important place that shows hope for peace amid the reality of division. I hope it will be helpful for your trip to Korea. If you would like to help with your visit, please leave a comment . See you in the next video.

Hello everyone! Today, I visited Imjingak Peace Park, a place where the pain of Korea’s division and the hope for peace coexist. 🕊️
I had a special experience of riding a gondola across the Imjin River to explore the DMZ ecological park, a place filled with messages of peace. Let’s walk through Imjingak together, from the rusted Gyeongui Line steam locomotive to the Bridge of Freedom and the Bell of Peace, and feel the history of division and peace.
I hope this video serves as a good guide for anyone interested in the DMZ! ✨
