Rainy Forest Walk at Daisen Temple | Tottori, Japan 4K

Walking through the forest in the rain, up stairs to Daisen Temple, following a stone path to Ogamiyama Shrine, and along the forested Sada River. I was looking for a place with a natural feel to enjoy the early rainy season and thought spending the morning on Mt. Daisen would be nice. It is a volcanic mountain that looks a bit like Mt. Fuji from some angles. Midway up the slope there are beautiful beech forests and a few temples along the trail leading up to the summit. Most hikers start here, but today I just made a loop through the forest with sounds of rain on the lush foliage overhead.

  1. The video is good, very natural and I really like it, thank you friend, always be successful ❤❤❤

  2. AE: Another awesome feast for the eyes! Along with the rain, the lush green forest is so vibrant and crisp that it almost sends you back in time. Great to watch during my morning workout! Thank you for sharing! Happy Trekking, Margie

  3. Great view once again! Very relaxing 🧘 I felt a bit tense though when you started going deeper into the forest area from where the stream was as it seemed very isolated.😅

  4. តើប្រាសាទមានអាយុកាលប៉ុន្មានឆ្នាំ ហើយ? ដើមឈើខ្ពស់ណាស់ ទេសភាពស្រស់ស្អាត

  5. I watch videos like this when I’m studying Japanese to help set the mood. This was perfect! Thank you!

  6. Beautiful gorgeous video! If only I could visit here. The green of the trees is so lovely, and the ground being covered with plants made your walk very lovely, surely heaven must be like this Shrine. The rain did not ease at all although it added wonderfully to your filming. I wonder sometimes, if you ever feel spooked, being there alone so early? I felt there was something other-worldly around when you reached the canyon and the waterfall and the small pile of stone offerings. The weather suddenly blew all the leaves and the wind buffeted all around you. It was heartwarming then to meet the pilgrim climbing the pathway and greeting you with a small bow. Did you hear the woodpecker towards the end just before the village? 😘💕

  8. What an intensely magical place! I think I prefer the rainy forest walks to a bright sunny day. All the shades of green and brown with the traditional red are so soothing and beautiful.

  9. Slow Pace, No Background Music: Perfect.
    Thanks for doing This.

  10. Lately I have been enjoying these walks while I do language practice on another screen. It's been so lovely. I'll pause the video and scan whenever you get the QR code for a historical site in the frame, though. It's so incredibly interesting to learn more about the places I'm seeing. No commentary or narrative necessary. It turns a calming hour of work into an immersive experience at times! Thanks for keeping these coming.
