40🇮🇳このフェリーは見逃せない😮インドのカムバート湾をバイクで横断

Are we actually allowed to be here? Ah. Oh, ferry. This way. Foreign
country. Yes. Goodbye AC. [Music] That’s it. From here on gets hotter. You can do it. [Music] It’s my turn. There they are. Shanti and Mowgli ready for
action. What’s the temp now? It’s uh 25. Yeah, freezing cold. So, I don’t know if we mentioned
to you guys that Lavy has a bit of an oil leak coming out the middle of her engine here and
everything is quite wet down here and on the bash plate. Well, we told that to the guys in
Mumbai who did the service and they tightened up the bolts here. They thought the issue was fixed,
but it definitely doesn’t look fixed. And we just checked the oil this morning and look, it does
not show any oil at all. So definitely the oil leak still persists. And I don’t even know how
much oil they put in when they did the service, but it wasn’t that long ago. Anyway, luckily
we have oil. So we’re just going to top it up now. I guess we’re just going to have to check it
every single morning from now because the oil leak didn’t look that bad. It was just like a little
bit of dripping, but apparently it’s quite bad. Good morning. From what? From England.
And she from Germany. Yes. Yes. India. Yeah. Yeah. Together riding around riding
all India. How much is in this bottle? Like a liter. It was a liter before. Okay.
Let’s see if we can register anything now. No, it’s still not showing anything. We’ll ride
the 10 km over to the ferry. We’ll get to the other side cuz we can’t miss the ferry.
And then once we get to the other side, we’ll find the first garage we can.
And uh we’ll just buy another maybe 2 liters more and just keep putting
oil in. Best we can do. Bye-bye. Nice meeting you. Bye-bye. Okay. Are
you ready to rock and roll? Always. Thank you, Shanti, for still turning on even with minimal oil. Yes, but I would
promise I will buy some new oil and top you up. Okay. Yep. And then just
straight over the roundabout underneath the bridge. This is a a big junction. Oh, it’s a railway track. I’m not sure if I can follow him there. Should
I try? Um, no. Look, it’s too it’s too slim. Yeah, now you’re okay. Why is it so busy here? What a way to start the
morning. Good morning, world. Welcome back to the channel. It’s ride number 40 on our motorcycle
adventure here in India. And we’re here on the outskirts of the city of Surat in the state of
Gujarat. And we’re in a huge queue of traffic this morning, apparently. I hope all these guys
aren’t heading in the same direction that we’re heading because we have a ferry to catch. Guys,
let me show you where we’re heading today. So, we are here just outside the city of Surat. And
today, we’ll be riding to the coast to embark on an aquatic adventure. Yes, at 9:00 a.m. we are
going to be sailing on the seas, heading from the town of Hazira over to the town of Ga, still in
Gujarat, and starting our journey in a new part of the state. It’s a little bit concerning, hey,
to stop traffic. We did give ourselves quite a lot of time this morning. So, it’s only 7:30 and
it should only take 30 minutes to get there. So, we should be there well in advance. Normally, yes.
But, of course, that does depend on what happens here. It’s funny cuz Google Maps doesn’t show
anything. Do you think there’s any chance that we could try and get through? No, I don’t know. Okay,
engine off. Bugger. Murphy’s law. If you’ve got a ferry to catch, you’re gonna be stuck in traffic.
You know what the good thing is? Huh? The ferry is only once per day. So, if we miss this one,
we have to wait till tomorrow. Oh, sorry. Did I say good thing? Oh, I meant bad thing. Do you
think I should try to I don’t know. Is there any space to try and weave or move or do anything?
Don’t know. Everybody’s getting out of their vehicles and starting walking. I mean, these guys,
look, they’re going like this way. Let me see. Yeah, maybe if we get on the
other side of the traffic. Yeah, that’s it. Hello. Let’s go behind this
truck here. Yeah. Okay. So, just full lock round now. That’s it. Okay. Sorry. Okay. He’s saying, “Wait, I’ll follow this guy
here. Go to the right.” Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. I’m following them as well. Yep. Yeah. So, I
think they’re just going to ride the wrong way down the highway. No way. Let’s just follow
these guys. Just cross. Okay. Okay. That’s one thing about Indian traffic. If one way is
blocked, they’ll find another way. Yeah. So, what do we do now? Don’t know. So, I can see
that the front of the queue there isn’t anything. No way. Yeah. Super strange. Like it’s completely
open. No way. Yeah. This the block is just on the entry ramp for the highway. So now the mission
is that we’ve got to try to cross and get on that side of the highway. I’m just following the bikers
here. Ah yeah, we can cross here. Can we? Oh, perfect. I think just one or two trucks
had broken down in just the wrong place. Ah, and blocked everyone. Yeah. Okay,
let’s wait for this truck to go. Yep. [Music] All right, that’s it. Okay, perfect. Okay,
now we are officially on our way. 28 minutes to go and we’re still going to be there 45 minutes
before the ferry. Yeah, it’s not that we are like really tight tight in time, but you know like
how fast the time can pass when you are stuck in the traffic. So now the roads are clear and it’s
already 7:45. So better hit the road. Let’s go. [Music] So whilst we’re cruising our way through the busy
busy highway of Gujarat, let me tell you a little bit about state number six on our journey across
India. The state of Gujarat is the fifth largest state in India by area, but it’s the ninth
most populous state with a population of over 60 million people. The state has a rich and long
history. It was actually one of the cradles of the Indis Valley civilization. The city of Lal, which
was one of the major cities of the Indis Valley, was located here in the state. I can’t
believe this traffic. Cannot believe it. Man, there’s definitely something going on today
here. But modernday Gujarat is regarded as one of the most industrialized states of India with
one of the lowest unemployment rates. It is a powerhouse of the prochemicals, textiles and
even diamond polishing industries. Apparently 90% of the world’s diamonds are polished in
Gujarat. Oh wow. I know the name Gujarat is derived from the Gujaratas who ruled this area
in the 8th and 9th centuries and Gujarat has been part of many of the major empires
of India including the Mulgals and later the Maratas and then the British East India
Company in the early 1800s. But Gujarat is also important for other reasons. Mahatma
Gandhi was born in the state as well as Narendra Modi. We’re just going straight. So
just get round to the left if you can. Yeah. [Music] Okay. Gujarat also has the
longest coastline in the whole of India, 1,600 km long. and it is home to the only
natural habitat of Asiatic lions in the world in the Gear National Park where we’re
going to be heading in a few days time. So, a really unique state and really important in
the formation and the history of India. So, I can’t wait to get riding through
and see what this state is all about. [Music] Massively industrialized area around
the port here. Look at this. This is all part of the Nippon India steel factory.
And it is just a behemoth of industry here. And the air smells pretty toxic. Wow. Look
at the size of this thing. What is that? Oh no. And there’s like a huge smoke cloud
coming out the back. Okay, that does not smell good. Something’s rising up here. And some
plumes of smoke rising up from there as well. [Music] Wa. This is like a post-apocalyptic
landscape here. [Music] Crazy. Yeah. Wow. That’s absolutely crazy here. I really hope that this is the
right way to the ferry. [Music] This is one of those places you ride where you
think, are we actually allowed to be here? But apparently in 3 kilometers there will be a roll
on rolloff ferry hopefully waiting for us. [Music] Oh ferry this way. Okay. Okay. This way. Okay. Are you foreigner foreign country? Yes.
Uh yeah, England. Here is the tickets. Yes. 9097. Okay. Yeah, it’s perfect. Let’s
go. Okay. Thank you so much. Awesome. Ah, two wheeler bikes. Okay. Thank you. Give me
your ticket, sir. Okay. This is one ticket for this one. Where are you going? Uh, we go to Goa
and then to Gear. Yes. Hazira to Goa. Look at that. Get a wristband to the ferry festival. Nice.
Thank you. Oh, look. There’s another two-wheeler here. We made it. Made it. Made it. Yes. Very
good. We’re not missing a ferry today. No, he said like loading in like 5 minutes. No
problem. 5 minutes later. Thank you. Bye-bye. Oh, look. There it is, guys. There is the ocean.
Oh, wow. It’s a massive ferry as well. Okay. Okay. Okay. We’ve got the VIP wristbands
to the ferry party. And here we go. About to board the Voyage Express Magdala. What a
day. Boarding a ferry. And this ferry is going to take 4 hours to cross this like
crack in India. Yeah, it’s cool. Hey, I’m really excited. Hello. Yep.
the slip. This slip. Thank you. Okay. Thank you. Thank you. [Music] Oh, we go here. Oh, okay. Like here or down? Don’t
know. All the way. Just to go further. Okay. And then maybe make a UI if you can. Okay. We are
facing the right way. Yeah, that’s a good idea. Okay. Whoa, look at you go. Oh no, I jinxed it.
Yeah. Oh, jinxed it. You can do it, my love. That’s it. Perfect. Royal Enfield
Classic 350. Cool. Kawasaki Ninja 300. Let’s go find some breakfast. Yes. somebody. Thank you. Thank you. Welcome. Wow, it’s a busy cafe this morning. Anyway, I better get queuing. See what
they’ve got to eat. [Music] Yes, we got a table. Not only that,
but we have aloo paratha with cheese. It’s our new favorite breakfast.
Now, I’m so excited about this. It’s not as good as the one we had before. No, it’s a bit soft. No, but
it’s okay. Okay, let me try. [Music] Token number 60. Not bad. Not bad. Oh, wow. Nice. There’s like dance music here. We are officially on the move. I can’t see
any land around us. It’s just open ocean. Let’s try to spot some dolphins. Do you think
you are dolphins? I really don’t know. So, this ferry is going to take 4 hours
to cross from Hazira to Goa. So, we got plenty of time. We’re on holiday now. It’s
nice to be on a ferry. Oh, I do like to be beside the seaside. I do like to be beside the sea. I do
like to be upon the fr where the brass play 3 2 1. Okay. Thank you. Awesome. Thanks, guys.
Thank you. Nice to meet you. [Music] Oh, I want to buy this one. Yep. Thank you. [Music] Okay, we are like the last ones at the
back here to go off. It’s all right. Bye. Yay. On the other side. Yes.
Thank you. Bye, Landoy. Oh, wow. No, we’re on like a floating pontoon it looks like.
Oh, nice one. Yeah, there’s a pretty big bridge here to reach the mainland. I think the water
is too low for the boat to get any closer. Yeah, it looks like sort of mud flats. And over there
is the town of Goa Goa Gujarat. Goat. Goat. So the first stop we have in mind for Goa is
a motorcycle garage where we can buy some motor oil for Shanti because unfortunately
my bike is not doing great at the moment. No, it’s still not showing anything. I
think we got about what half a liter in this morning. We’re going to buy 2 L. That way
we’re going to have enough get it back to full because apparently you’re losing more oil than
we thought. Yeah, obviously we will try to sort out the problem as soon as we have more time.
But at the moment we have booked the national park trip and we have booked another national
park trip. So we don’t have too much time to sort that problem out. But I promise we will
sort it out as soon as we have the time. Yeah, we have a safari at Gear National Park. That’s
the safari where you can see Asiatic lions in the wild. That safari is happening in two days
time. So, we really don’t have a lot of time to waste. We should arrive there tomorrow,
but it’s still quite a way to go. Yes. Oh, did you see? There was a
doggy in the water. What? Yeah, he looked like that. He enjoyed it.
He was just sort of bathing in there. Nice. cute. I think the motorcycle
garage should be just um just here. Hello. Hello. Oh, somebody’s coming here, I
think. Hello. You have a motor oil 10W30 2 liter. Two. Two. Yes. Oh, yeah. He’s got oil. Quality
motorcycle engine oil. Okay. Thank you, Danivad. And then tomorrow morning we can do another
dipstick and we can get them both bikes up to scratch. Okay. Lovely. Okay. Well, that was
successful. Nad, thank you, man. It’s hot. Yep. It’s really, really hot. It is really, really
hot. We’ve got to get moving. Yeah. Now that we have reached the other side and got oil, our
mission for today is to reach the town of Mahuva, and that’ll put us about 4 hours away from
the Gear National Park. There’s a couple of different hotels in the center of Mahooa. It’s
not a very big place, but hopefully we’ll find something with a spare room. Oh, bloody hell.
It’s a good turning circle, wasn’t it? So, we got about 100 kilometers to ride to get
there. So, so better hit this cow. Let’s go. [Music] So, it’s now 38° here. Peak temperature of
the day. The sun is right on top of our heads, blasting down on us. And I think we’ve only
ridden in temperatures like this twice before, ever on all of our trips. One time when we were
in Morocco and one time in Guatemala. Yeah, it’s pretty mad actually. As soon as I open my
visor, it feels like a haird dryer pointing in my face. It’s so hot. I mean, you’re just constantly
sweating and losing a lot of water as well. So, let’s get to this AC room ASAP. Oh, or we
could uh go and play tennis at the Ninja Sports and Cafe. This is what I want
right now to go and play some tennis. [Music] Our [Music] open road has been interrupted by a herd of
buffalo. Hello guys. Hello. Whoa, look at this one. Oh, wow. Ah, and the cows are up front.
and some oxen with very big horns at the front. Look at that. Yeah. Wow. Nice. I mean, it makes
sense. Why herd your cattle through the bushes and fences of the countryside when you could
just go along the highway? Convenient. [Music] Yes, finally we are arriving in the town of
Mahuva. Happy and alive. That’s awesome. Yeah, I think we both need to drink a liter
of water when we stop though. Yeah, my mouth is so dry. My mouth feels like a
desert. But uh our hotel is coming up in 800 m or the hotel we hope to stay at, but we don’t
know the price. We don’t know if they’ve got AC. We don’t know if they have rooms for us. Pretty
much don’t know anything, but we will find out. This kid on the scooter looks about 10 years
old. Oh, wow. Look at this house here. Yeah. This looks like a an old center of the town.
Yeah, they’re like quite old buildings here. Look at these uh houses with the wooden verandas
out the front. Oh, wow. Nice. That looks charming. Anyway, there’s Hotel Bombay. I see the sign
right there. Let’s see where’s the entrance. Hello. Uh Hotel Bombay. Hotel Bombay. Over there.
Okay. Thank you, Danad. He pointed this way. Yes. Here. Hello. Namaste. Let’s
just park up in front here. Okay. Oh, let’s as well get some grapes from the
grapes guy here. I agree. Okay. Right. Let’s see if Hotel Bombay has a room for
us. I asked for AC room. Nothing. So, no way. Yeah. Yeah. We got to try another
hotel. Uh there’s quite a few in town. So, we’ll just go to one of the other ones around the
corner and see what we can find. Okay, good news. Hotel number two did have AC rooms for us. So,
that is good. We can get off these swelteringly hot streets because at the moment we are really
in danger of getting heat stroke if we stay on on the bikes for too long. I can feel my body already
shutting down. Oh, yeah. I’m just riding without the jacket at the moment. And man, that’s nice.
So, this is our hotel. Hotel Blue Diamond. Nice. This is our parking. Nice. It’s nice and
cool. It’s right here. Yes. Perfect. We made it safely into our amazing air conditioned
room. It’s so nice. That’s not You’re lying. We made it. Happy and alive. That’s better.
Oh my god, this room is so nice. I mean, check that out. Ollie’s bed. My bed. Check
out our view. Oh wow. So cool. You can pretty much observe the whole traffic here.
I think this is as well like the center of the town. And you can see a little temple
over here. And then here’s our bathroom. For some reason, I have like really brown stuff
all over my face. It was a dusty ride. It was a dusty ride. It was a hectic ride actually at first
in the morning with all this traffic. And then after we left the boat, it was just going, going,
going. I think it was another 100 kilometers to reach this town here. And we were just sort of
blasting our way through riding between 80 and 90 kilometers an hour. So yeah, that was pretty
intense. But for now, we will just chill out here and try to cool down a little bit and maybe get a
nice cold drink downstairs as well. We asked and they have some nice lassi. So I think this will be
our next mission. And that’s it from us today. We hope you enjoyed the video. If so, please give us
a thumbs up, subscribe to the channel, share the video with your friends and family, comment below,
and we will see you next time. That’s really good. Thank you.

  1. Fantastic video of Surat and Saurashtra. Mahuva is a city of a famous monk and his monastery. He has many programs in the Europe and North America also. His name is Morari Bapu. Check it out, if possible.

  2. That road you ride in surat has so much factories like reliance,l&t,AMNS..BECAUSE OF THAT THERE ARE SO MUCH TRAFFIC

  3. I'd put money on the oil issue with Lavi's bike being head gasket failure. It's probably leaking some and burning the rest. You probably know this and have fixed it by now. I'm sure that little engine will keep running so long as you're adding oil at the top as fast as it's falling out the bottom, anyway. 😅

  4. I love your content and willing to meet you guys. I live in Gujarat and as your plan says you are going to gir nation park so please reach out to me when you around I live around sasan gir and would love to meet you guys….

  5. If you going to gir to see lion. You should also climb "Girnar" mountain which is very near to lion place. Girnar is biggest mountain of india after himalayas. Almost 10k stair is there to climb. And from top you can see heavenly view.

  6. If you put new oil in your engine you should out old oil
after 1000,2000 km depend on Oli km range 😇 happy journey and welcome to Gujarat

  7. 16:43 , True aloo paratha's are meant to be soft, its not meant to be fried in oil, its mainly from Punjab. In Gujrat you should try Dhokla, Thepla, khandvi and fafda.
