We took the bullet train from Jamei, but we’re actually going to go see the Chinatown here because we heard it’s very famous and we’re craving some Chinese food. So, yeah, let’s go. All right, we just got off at Moto Machi Station and we’re going to head towards Chinatown. It’s really close. their mascot, the Moto Machi Modern Girl. Pretty lively shopping arcade. Honestly, uh there’s a lot of shops, a lot of food. I think here it is right here in the center. You enter and there is Chinatown, baby. It’s like we’re back in China. You can see all the street food. All the stalls right here. Panabun dim sum on the street. So cool. Yo, Spidey, what are you doing here again? What are you doing here? He’s here again. He wants the beef. He wants the beef this time. But right in front of us though, we have Chinatown Gate. It’s a small one because it’s a smaller Chinatown compared to Yokohama, but still cool. Dude, I’m so sad. I wanted to visit Roshoki, but they’re literally under construction right now. Ripped up buns. Oh, well, they actually have a popular boba chain spot here called 10 runs tea that I’ve been wanting to try out. Guess we’ll try it here. Oh, it’s tea tea, babe. It’s tea tea. It’s not boba tea. It’s tea tea. Oh, but they do it. It’s actual tea. Yeah, there’s so many cute tea tins. And you can smell all of them, too. Oh, if we didn’t have so much tea already, I think I would buy more. So cool. traditional looking tea in the giant tins. That’s how you know they’re a legit tea store. Yeah, we’re going to buy a little cute tin. White peach ulong and then butterfly tea cuz we don’t see this often. Good that we bought it. All right, she’s going to give it a shot. White peach oolong tea. Part of the tin that we just bought. Isn’t it so good? It’s good. And it doesn’t taste like artificial. I know. It goes down so smooth. It’s so It tastes fragrant, flowery. That’s really good. White Pichu. Oh my gosh. Yo, come to Ten Ren’s here. It’s so good. They also have Unions here. They’re famous for their boughs. As you can see, there’s a long line for them right now. So, they’re known to do a fried shallow bow. You see them making right here. That looks so good. It’s pretty unique, too, cuz you don’t really see a fried shell bow. They just made a fresh batch there. You see that? Oh my goodness. Fried shell. All right. After a short line of our fried shell bell. Never tried something like this before. It’s very interesting. Put a little bit of the sauce they give on it. It’s a hot batch. So, I’m sure like the inside really hot. All right. Be careful. I’m going to snip out of the splash zone. Be very careful. Ooh. How’s the soup? M. The soup is good. Nice. Soup is like a little bit thick. Mhm. Does the fried add to the shaolong bow? Yeah, it’s like crispy. M. I think I might like this. The filling is actually pretty good, too. It’s not like all empty space. Mhm. Nice. Nice. Good job, Union. Just another day here eating my fried challened. Yeah. Careful. That’s a lot of That’s hot. Yeah. Oh, that’s so good. That’s like fried dough with the chow bow inside. It has like a good chew to it. Mhm. I feel like I might like this more than regular Shaol. But I’m not going to lie, it’s kind of really good. It’s pretty good. Especially for street food. Wow. Honestly, even though it’s a small Chinatown, I feel it’s laid out pretty well. I like the main street. It’s really cool. Does feel like you’re in China. Oh boy. They have the Capsule Lab Capcom here in Chinatown. What? That’s so cool. Right next to the gate, too. The other gate. So cool. It’s like an actual official Capcom capsule. There’s so many. Oh my. There’s so so many here. Holy moly. And then Capcom actually has a whole wall of like what they have here, including Monster Hunter. Bunch of other IPs, too. So cool. I’m going to roll for more Dawn. We love Tao. Oh, it makes a sound, too. We got to roll. We got to roll. Honestly, I’m fine with any of them. Yeah, me too. That’s why I’m The blue one would be nice. Okay, we got the red one. Got the red one. All right, if you’re a fan of Mega Man Battle Network or Rockman exe, this is one of the first enemies you see in the game. And look, they’re so cutely themed. All right, what did I get? What did I get? Oh, I got blue. Yay. That was the second best. I think I more green or blue. But yeah, that’s awesome. All right. So, I was going to roll for the H bath. We love HF. Oh, man. As far as they even have a here. All right. Which one did you get? I got I think it’s the honey butter. Oh, that’s classic. We got the classic honey butter one. Nice. Very nice. Look. Oh, there’s a little almond in the keychain. Oh, that’s so cute. A Sounds like there’s almonds inside. That’s so awesome. I love it. All right, getting us for Hari. He likes food. I think he would appreciate any of these. So, let’s give him one. And here we go. What did I get? I got Mike. Wow. It’s the beef. Well, we got yellow on a Japanese grill. So, there you go. Definitely come visit the Capcom capsule lab. There’s also a Chinese style game center over there where it’s like a lot of shooting games. Continue walking. There’s like this small one. Nice. We found our magnet hunt at a random souvenir shop. It’s really cool. They also got some funny shirts, too. And a lot of other Chinese gifts and varieties in here. Sarah couldn’t resist the tong hulus. So, we stopped by a ton hulu shop that only does ton hulus and a few other fruits. You got your tong hulu. Got my tong hulu. Oh my goodness. Look at it. It’s three. Yeah. Very nice. Oh, it’s hard. It’s big strawberry. Ooh, crunch. Very big crunch. How’s the fresh strawberry on the inside? Mhm. It’s really sweet. They probably use Japanese strawberries, too, which is interesting. How’s it compared to other tonghulus? I like it when it’s like cold. M cuz I feel like the ones that we got in like Taiwan were more like cold. It’s like more refreshing when you bite into it. Okay. All right. Yeah. We just have to like break the strawberry off. A little bit harder than I would have liked. The strawberry inside’s really good. Yeah. All right. We’re going to the sister chain instead. a tea and 10 foos tea because they have a cafe upstairs. Yeah, they have a boba menu. So, let’s go. We can have a lot. Yeah. Yeah. So, go. They got boba. They got dessert. Mr. B, [Music] dude. Sick boba dessert with grass jelly. Hey, it’s perfect sweetness. Wow, look at this coobe intersection. Wow. Who needs Shabuya crossing? We got cop crossing guys now. Oh, look at that dog. Holy moly, it’s so poofy. I know. Got Unitsuka Tiger right here. Going to that Book Off right there just to kill some time. Oh, wait. They got a B-side label here. It’s an awesome sticker show store. Good old classic book off. Good thrift shop. New store. Bam. A lot of books. Hey, give TCGs plushies and figures all here. Ooh, Switch. Small selection of video games, but got some retro ones. And I picked up Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii cuz why not? Also, go away. I think I found Emerald right here. 20% off. 5900 yen. Yo, that’s nice. So, that’s so awesome. There’s a ruby right there, too. We also have complet Yu-Gi-Oh early days for only 1,800 yen. so freaking cheap compared to the US. What the heck? It has English support, too. Also found more 3DS, Wii, and older consoles over here. I don’t get why cuz I really love Gen 6 and it’s coming making a comeback with Mega Evolutions. That was a good book off find. So happy with that. That’s Book Off and Kobe to the Kobe port tower. But look, a Chinatown that we passed by. It’s now in red. That’s so cool. Onwards to the port. Walkways are still lit up at night here at the port. See some boats in the distance. Making our way. Oh, it’s pretty lit up at night. And look, you can see the port tower and that building over there. It’s really cool. Wow, what open space. And what a perfect view. Cop tower between those lit up structures right there. Wow. Look, you even see the ferris wheel over there at Harborland. Reminds me a little bit like Yokohama in a way. Wow. Stumbled upon this soccer exhibit right here where they lit up the actual soccer trees with pink lights to make it look really cool. Wow, it’s awesome. People are just hanging out here. Getting closer. Wow. Honestly, I really like the Coobe Port tower. I feel like it’s pretty unique on its own compared to other like big city towers. Wow. We are in Coobe Port tower with the musician in the back. But look at that, dude. That looks so good. Yeah. Oh my gosh, that’s awesome. All right, we’re going to go up it. All right, we’re at the ticketing booth. All right, we’re going to do the rooftop plus observation. 2,400 yen total. [Music] Made it to the observatory. Wow, look at that view. So cool. Oh, they also got on some poses if you wanted to pose with it. Coobe Port tower. Very cute photo spot right here. What the Naruto plate? Naruto’s up here. That’s crazy. Oh. Oh, it lights up. It does like a little light show. That’s fun. Like that. Cute little mini replica inside the tower. It’s tower seion. For real though. Okay, we’re on the observation deck right now. The elevator is really quick. Um, my ears didn’t pop at all, but we can also go one more up to the rooftop. So, let’s take a quick peek there. Oh my gosh. Definitely paid for the rooftop, guys. Look at this. Oh, it’s only 200 yen more. You get an awesome view. Look, there’s the tower right behind us. There’s the very tip right there in the moon. That’s amazing. and Cobe Port right beneath us. Wonder if you can see Osaka in the distance over there somewhere. That’d be really neat. That’s so cute. The ferris wheel in the port right here. Oh my gosh, that’s amazing. Yeah, definitely get the rooftop, guys. That’s an amazing view. It is small though. It’s not as big as like other alteration rooftops, but I mean you got glass and you got the port you see right there. Ferris wheel right there. That’s awesome. Wow. On just one floor below, we have the flowers and interactive artwork. That’s fun. That’s very fun. Oh, this is good. This is really Oh, wow. Neon lights are my sign. Dude, I love neon lights. That’s crazy. Next room is so cool. Sarah’s touching the wall and getting more color. What? What? What? What? Wa. How does this work? This is amazing. What the That’s so cool. Oh my god. Next room. It’s infinity time. Who needs and other mirrors when you got the infinity mirror dance hall? Boom. Can I Can I triple boom? Boo. Explosion. All right, that’s a fun art floor. It’s kind of a smart idea for a shop floor. You just go around a circle cuz the cash register is right there back to the entrance and then you just shop hop along the edge. That’s neatly done. I like it. They even got their own anime wine with the Kobe port tower. What is dude? They’re selling the Naruto plates up here. That’s crazy. Collab. I love when towers do this. And they do a tower as a bottle. That’s very cute. I really like that idea. The tower. Oh, that’s fun. Last floor before you descend. Look, there’s a glass floor where you can see all the way toward the bottom. Oh, here we go. Wo wo wo wo. Yeah, it’s like pinkish soccer season. All right, I think that’s all the floors explored. I think this was super worth a day trip whether wherever you are, whether you’re coming from Hamemedi or, you know, Osaka. I think this is super worth a day trip to come eat the beef in Chinatown and this tower. Yeah, I think we were able to get like a lot done in just like the second half of our day. Mhm. So would highly recommend. Mhm. Yeah. Kobe is definitely like a more of a mediumsiz city, but definitely filled with locals and honestly less touristy, which is what we like.
