39🇮🇳 ついにグジャラートに到着!(第一印象)😮 インドを走る

Right. Beautiful. Beautiful truck. Oh, cool. I
don’t even know where Lavy’s gone. [Music] Can you believe it? It’s just 5:45 and I got Ollie out
of bed already dressed. Did he have a good sleep? My sleep score said I went to bed at 8:16 and had a sleep score of 77, which
is quite good. As you can see, it’s still very dark outside. Our bags are
nearly packed. Then we get our bikes ready and by the time should be light enough
to hit the road. I’m excited. [Music] [Music] Good morning. Good morning, Mr.
Ox. Do you have a good sleep? Yes. Oh yeah. Good morning. Taa. Okie dokie. Goodbye, Mr. Ox. Not you, Ollie. I mean the ox. Okay. Right or left? Right or left? That is the
question. I think left. But let’s see. Otherwise, the woman in the shop is going to see us go by
twice. Oh, my camera is actually the wrong way around. Wait, I have to stop for a second.
Okay. My Insta is not doing the right thing this morning. Stop it, please. Oh, no. Front.
Front side. Okay. Again. Let’s go. Good morning, world. Welcome back to the channel. It’s ride
number 37. It’s not true. Good morning, world. Welcome back to the channel. It’s ride number 39.
Wait a second. Speed bump up. Good morning world. Welcome back to the channel. It’s ride number 39
on our motorcycle adventure here in India. And we are here in the small village of Bora in the
state of Gujarat. And we came here yesterday to see a new wonder of the world. The tallest statue
in the entire world. The statue of unity. No way. Look how big this man’s foot is. Yes. Right here
in the middle of this quiet countryside lies a very very big statue of Mr. Sardar Patel, an
Indian politician and independence activist. And it was just a spectacular visit. You could
go right up to the statue. You could stand like right underneath it and you could go up all the
way up to his chest height. I think it was about 130 m and you had like epic views from up there
and it was just really spectacular. So definitely recommend this place if you’re around that area.
Yeah, with a budget of nearly $500 million, you would hope that it would be a pretty cool
attraction and it is. So today will be our first full ride here in the state of Gujarat. So
let me show you where we’re heading today. So we are here in Bora and today we will be riding
to the coast to reach the town of Hazira, one of the major ports of Surat city to embark on
an aquatic adventure. We are preparing to take a ferry tomorrow morning to cross over the large
body of water that separates sort of mainland Gujarat to the sort of peninsula part of Gujarat.
And over in that part, we’ve got some awesome things coming up, including hopefully seeing lions
in the wild in the Gear National Park. Please, please, please, please. But for today, we just
need to get to the outskirts of the city of Surat. Yes. And the city of Surat is about 150 kilometers
away from here. And we started this morning very early. It’s just 6:25 because the temperature at
this time of day is still very very amazing. It’s like I think 25° at the moment, but trust me,
by 9:00 it will be up to 34 probably already. It’s like it’s really really hot at the moment.
But Google Map says it will take us 3 hours and 10 minutes to get there. So, better hit the road.
Let’s go. Nice and empty roads this morning. Yeah, we’ve got some mountains going on over there in
the distance. And we didn’t see mountains for a little while in Maharashtra. It was a lot of
flat agricultural land. And then as soon as we entered Gujarat yesterday, it just started to get
super hilly. I really missed the mountains. It’s always a feast for the eye. Yeah. Well, let’s
see what kind of landscapes we get today. Yes. First fill up here in Gujarat. Oh, wow. The price is only 94 rupees
per liter. It’s even cheaper here than it is in Maharashtra. That’s about
90 per liter. It’s not bad, is it? Okay. Yes. Full, please. Thank you. Tada. [Music] I don’t exactly know what they’re doing
here, but they’ve got loads and loads and loads of huge piles of sand on the side
of the highway all the way along. So, I don’t know if they’re planning on maybe
redoing this highway pretty soon. But yeah, the highway is pretty broken up. If you
look here, wa look at the size of this sand pile. It’s like a sand mountain. How
the hell did they pile that up that high? They’ve got to be preparing to redo this highway.
There’s no way they would keep such giant piles of sand here for no reason. Right on the edge of the
road. Oh, and there’s some kids ready for school. Hello. Ah, breakfast. I can
see that somebody’s got aloo paratha. They’ve already ordered it.
I saw one guy coming with a coffee. One guy coming with Aloo Parata. I was like,
we’ve stopped in the right place. Thank you. I think this is still the best breakfast. So, I got a masala dosa and I got aloo paratha.
The same as what we had yesterday. Look at this. But can I have a little bit of yours
as well to compare? Maybe I can dip my alo paratha in your dips. done with this. This is
a bit spicy. I don’t know if it’s too spicy. Try a bit of that with this. Tastes good. Bit spicy. Spiciness, you know, my throat. But
it’s like a cheeky spiciness, you know. is like not spicy at all and then suddenly your throat
is like anyway all in all amazing place to stop here. I think we are lucky today. You have YouTube
channel Sam Shamir Raj. Okay. Shamir Raj. Okay. Subscribe. Subscribe. Yes. And this subscribe.
I will. And this your your music. Yes. Raj. So nice. Thank you. Thank you. Very nice.
Awesome. Okay. Okay. So, everybody of you, please subscribe to his channel. Nice
to meet you. Nice meeting you. It’s very nice. Very nice. Yeah. Very nice. Yeah.
Very good. Bye-bye. Have a good day. Tata. Awesome. That was so successful. I’m really happy.
Yep. Breakfast with a side of Hindi singer. Yeah. So cool. Okay, that’s half of the journey done
for today. So, we also all stop it. Stop beeping. Bloody hell. And also, we just booked oursel an
accommodation on Booking.com for tonight. I think the place is called collection o something like
that. Hotel collection. Wa! Look at the size of this truck. That is a monster truck. Well, not
a not a monster truck, but a monster of a truck. Yeah, that would make a good motor home. And
the accommodation we found, I think, is $17 for the night, and it’s only a 30 minute ride to the
ferry port. So, we should be in a good position to be able to make our ferry because the ferry is
leaving tomorrow at 9:00 a.m., which is late for us now. I mean, we’re like 500 a.m. waker uppers.
We are now in the 500 a.m. club, baby. Oh my god, we are. We’re like those influencers. I wake up
at 5:00 a.m. every day and go for a run. Well, we wake up at 5:00 a.m. every day and go for
a ride, which I concede is not as healthy, but come on. We still get up and do something. All
right. Exactly. So, anyway, an hour and a half, 74 km to go. Let’s get the second half of this
ride done before we start to melt. [Music] I tell you what guys, this has to be one of
the most beautiful trucks that I’ve seen so far here in India. Look at the design on the
back. You’ve got a beautiful painting of the Taj Mahal. I’m really impressed by the decoration
and the effort that these guys put in. Look at the side of this truck. Even the wheel. The wheel
is painted. Very beautiful. Beautiful truck. Oh, cool. He looks like he loves it. He’s
just sitting in his cab with all his like decorations around him. His cab looks
literally like a shisha lounge. That’s amazing. But seriously, this is a few too many
trucks for the morning. Look at this road. It’s madness. Absolute madness.
I don’t even know where Lavy’s gone. Where is she? Are you in front of the one that’s
got all the concrete blocks? Hello. Oh, look at this tank roundabout. So, we’re just coming around the outside of the
city of Surat and it’s been a busy ride pretty much the entire way. But it’s not surprising
because Surat is the second largest city in the state of Gujarat. It has a population of
7 million and it’s actually the eighth largest city by population in the whole of India.
So no wonder these roads are busy. It also seems a bit like Mumbai to be very much under
construction. Lots and lots of new building projects going on. This city will transform as
well in the next years for sure. Yeah, I would love to see these areas in like 10 15 years.
Yeah. But yeah, it’s been a really hectic ride. A lot of highway today. A lot of overtaking. Yeah,
you did some really good overtaking. I feel like I’m a little bit more one with the traffic now
here in India because you have to get used to the way how they drive here. But once you are
sort of used to it, it’s actually quite fun, you know, flowing like a river sometimes. We
won’t be going into the city of Surat. We’re just kind of taking the outer ring road at the
moment. Less than 10 km to go. Yay. here. Oh, did you see the guy with the dogs? Yeah.
How cute. Okay, we are coming up to our accommodation. Is it this massive building
here? Yeah, maybe it is this one. Okay, let’s see if this hotel even exists. But I don’t
know if we can get there. Oh no. Wait a second. Hello. hotel um collection. Oh, Inchapur Hazira, formerly Hotel Swagat. Hotel Swagat. Yeah,
hotel. Can we go here? Okay. Thank you. [Music] Okay. Our hotel looks like an
abandoned building, Levy. Oh, no. I mean, I assume it’s up there at the top part.
Oh my lord. Let’s go into the shade. Yeah, let’s go around here. Yeah, let’s go around
here to the shade. I think it is this one. Yeah. Okay. This is funny. Let’s park uh
let’s park just here towards the front here. Okay. Yeah. Let’s go see where in this
abandoned building our hotel room is. Yeah. Wow, guys, look at this bike. I feel so sorry for this bike. Hey, I
hope somebody’s coming soon and taking care of you. Hey, look at these guys.
They got a shisha. Whoa. Hello. Whoa. It’s beautiful. No. No. Looks really cool though. Is that a fire alarm? Fire. No. No fire. Fire. Yeah. Fire.
Fire. Fire inside. Where? I hope there’s not a fire. Oh wow. Look, it’s an
old school lift. It’s a bit scary to be honest. Sorry. Sorry. Uh Hindi. No. Hindi. No. No. No.
England. She Germany. Germany. England. England. And you? Surat from here. Surat. Okay. Germany.
England. Yes. Germany. England. No, no more Hindi. No more Hindi. No, no, sorry, sorry. We got Hazer.
Hazira Goa the ferry ferry tomorrow. Tomorrow morning. Yes. Yes. There’s the fire alarm again.
Okay. There’s nine. Yes. Okay. Danivad. Thank you, Danad. Okay. Hello. The fire is alarm is okay.
No fire. No fire. Okay, good. Are you ready to see our room for tonight? Oh, that’s nice. There
you go. It’s got AC. Perfect. It looks definitely better on the inside than the building looks on
the outside. They put like a nice smell inside here. Can you smell this? Like fresh lemon. Yeah.
I don’t know how long that’s going to last before the original smell comes back. Let’s go check
out the view, shall we? Wa! Look at that. Oh, this is an industrial area. Got like a Wow! sort
of gas factory over there. Got some chimneys, plumes. Look at this. Have they just held the
window in with tape? It looks like it. Okay. Don’t lean on this window. Okay. Don’t lean on the
window. Okay. It might just fall out. Don’t touch it. Wow. Anyway, let’s focus more on on what’s
happening inside here. Look at this. Yeah, we’ve got a big double bed. It’s all right. It’s okay.
Yeah. We’ll just It’s a hole. I think this will be fine for the night. Totally. So, we will just rest
here for the rest of the day. And tomorrow at 9:00 a.m., we will take the ferry to Goa, which I’m
super excited about. And that’s it from us today. We hope you enjoyed the video. If so, please
