ディズニーズ・ウィルダネス・ロッジ フルリゾートツアー | ディズニーズ・ベスト・デラックス・リゾート | ウォルト・ディズニー・ワールド 2025年8月
[Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] Hey guys, it is George Flor Park Parks after dark with Addie and we are here at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. Oh yeah. Let’s go on in and take a look why this is one of our favorite, if not our favorite deluxe resort. Yes, I said our favorite deluxe resorts. All right, so guys, so Willis Lodge is actually one of the luxe resorts near the Magic Kingdom. It’s not on Bay Lake like the three, but it’s close. It is actually have firework view rooms here. You can hear the train. You can hear the water pageant. And you can see the water pageant at I think it’s 9:30. 9:30. Yep. So, it is close to everything, but you literally feel like you’re a million miles away. And guys, it’s a Lincoln log set. They make it look like for those old enough to know Lincoln logs, it is those brown little logs put together and the green tiles for the roof. It’s perfect. So, supposed to be a northwestern lodge. And we’re going to head and check it out. So, this is a come up through valet. So, we got to be a little careful. Hello. And it is near check-in time. But as you can see, they have all the exposed beaming and all the wood. Really, really, really done well. And now we’re going to come in. When we come in, you will see exactly what I’m talking about. The lights, they just do such a great job here. It is an amazing space. So, let’s go take a look. When you come in the lobby, boom, there it is. It is a fivetory high ceiling. Lights are up there. They’re beautiful. If you look on the lights, I’ll show you in a second. They got animals and figures up there and rot iron. It is beautiful. It is majestic. It is high. They have these beautiful totem poles that run all the way up the entire length. The support beams here come up and they hold the roof up at the top of each of the support beams. Let’s show you. Animals tap the top of each beam. There’s a moose. There’s a buffalo, bison. At the very top there’s a bear. So that’s this post. Each coast has a different set of animals. It’s awesome. The stairs are open with the wood. It looks like you are literally in the most majestic, beautiful um cabin you’ve ever seen in your life. So this is the lobby. There is a beautiful fireplace over there we’ll take a look at in a second. And then there’s that Richmond Candy Cafe. It is not open as of now. Richmond Candy Cafe is an experience. It is not just dining. We’ll show you. It says here the goings can get a little loud and that’s just where we like it. They play games and they play pranks and they do all kinds of things to you and it is really just a lot of fun. Um, be prepared is not traditional dining. It’s a little tongue and cheeky things that happen and it’s really great. There’s check-in. There’s the main lobby and as you can tell there’s a very American Indian overlay in this whole area. We love it for the quaintness and the warmth of kind of the rocking chair rose here in front of this beautiful fireplace. It is just an awesome spot. We come back around. Now, these rooms here are all actually guest rooms that run all five stories. Flanking either side around it. We’ll show you outside are other rooms. And then down the side are some DVC. And then in the back there’s actually freestanding luxury cabins. thinks bungalows but not over water. So, we’re going to be back at where we just came. That’s the lobby. Beautiful headdress there in the case. And then we’re going to show you this thing, which is great. So, in the lobby, they have a geyser. This geyser percolates the water up inside. There’s a bridge where the kids and anybody can actually cross. We’ll go across to show you guys. You can come across the bridge. And then the water from the geyser traverses through those little openings and goes down that stream and goes to a waterfall. We’ll show you in a little bit. They are actually doing some renovation now. Show you now. They’re doing exterior kind of renovation. So, there is some scaffolding that’s out there now. It does take away a little bit of the beauty. And I’m not sure if we can actually go back there, but we’re going to go down and take a look. If we were to come in through the lobby to the back and then go to your left, the territory lounge is there. We’ll show you that in a minute. Artist Point dining, which is Snow White is up there. We’re on Fork is there counter service and their guest rooms down there. And then there’s those cabins we spoke about. But we’re not going that way. We’re going to go this way. It’s details, by the way, like this light that we love. It’s a beautiful light. It has this owl on a branch. It just I don’t know. I just love the space here. So because it is also so big, it never feels full. It always feels like you got room to work. So as you come in, this is their merkantile. Now what we love about this merkantile is their totem pole. Very different. Their totem pole is you got the bear, you got Donald, you got Goofy, you got Mickey sitting on top of all of them. As look at Donald’s face. He ain’t happy about being in the second position. Their merkantile as their store. We’ll show it to you in a second, but I want to show you that’s where this is in the front lobby here, just past check-in. And as you come down here, this store kind of flanks all the way to our right. To our left, there’s some bathrooms and and elevators. And then out this way, we go down out this way. So, as we pop out the doors, now we’re outside again. Okay. This is a walkway. It’s covered. And what they love here, they have the Buttons and Bells game arcade. All right. So, Buttons and Bells game arcade. There’s a very, very nice arcade. It’s for Deluxe Resort. It’s great. So, it’s kind of in a regular shape as most Disney arcades. They tuck it in. So they got the Wicked Tuna game and it kind of tucks back in here with the other games are squeezed in here, Pac-Man and all that. And then you got all the car driving. And then you come over here and then they got more rider games and pinball games and photo booth. So it’s for Deluxe Resort. It’s a smallish arcade, but really they’re maximizing their space for everything else. Now, if we were to keep kind of going straight down here, we’re now in a separate part of the building. So, this is a covered walkway that connects the Willis Lodge is right back there. That’s Wildness Lodge with this other building. And I’ll show you this building in one second. This building is Boulder Ridge. Boulder Ridge is their DVC property. So DVC is Disney Vacation Club, their time share. It is a fourstory building. It is different than the hotel. Um there are vacation club members rent these. You can rent these if you’re even not DBC member. They have full kitchens, full dining rooms, and so they’re really just great. Now they’re in a separate building and you’ll see it right there. Right up that path. Yeah. Is the bus area. And then what’s great about the building itself, and I’ll show you something that we’ve seen a lot, the coloring on the building. So Disney worked really hard, always has worked to blend everything into the nature, into the the environment it’s in. So it goes dark brown, light brown, green. It’s a tree. the dark brown of the lower bark, middle bark, and then the green being leaves. It’s just awesome. So, this wood walkway goes to the building. Now, this DVC building will take you in. It is a mini version of the main hotel. It feels like in the middle of the wilderness here. The trees, very heavy foliage. [Music] And this is a very, very neat space. [Music] And as you can tell, welcome home members and all guests. And now we’re in. Okay. And this is their lobby. Now, we’ll go straight in. Straight in. They got a bird cage. This is similar to Grandpa’s bird cage. What’s great about this space is it’s three stories. It has that beautiful chandelier in it space. So that’s it. They have their own animals that come out of the woods and another great fireplace. Great little sitting area. It’s small. Come over here. They have Sturdy Branches. Sturdy Branches is their gym. It is a nice little gym. It overlooks the pool area in the back. And you’ll see that. And I love these tree lights. They’re the best. And then if you go straight through here, that’s where you get to the elevators and you go up to some of the upper floors in the rooms. But that’s not the great part. What’s great about this lower level are these little sitting rooms everywhere. There’s a room back here by the sto uh fireplace. And then there’s kind of one right when you come through here. Now, you’ll see a real heavy influence of Walts in here. There’s a lot of trains that you can kind of tell by that. And this is the train room. And so it’s a great sitting spot. Has another fireplace. There’s a model train. And then honestly in there, they also have picture of him in his backyard with his train that he actually could ride and he would drive that. Then there’s the fullsize version of what he actually rode in his house. And then just another sitting spot with a great fireplace. If we were to keep coming around, I’m going to shoot out this back door. There are rooms on this level and there’s three more stories above us. So, it’s really a fourstory building. Uh we’ll peek down here as the door opens. So, that’s down the room. And as you come out, you come directly out of the back of the building, which the back walk straight through the building. This is the pool area. Now, this isn’t just for a DVC property. Um, but it is conveniently located behind the pool there. That is a main hotel. And this pool is be modeled after a mining pit that’s been kind of abandoned and then got overfilled with water. So, it has all the industrial kind of fixed fields and metal and exposed metal, but reality, it’s just a beautiful Disney pool. these wonderful little cabanas that you can rent. And then that’s the outside of the DVC building that goes kind of straight through. Just give you just another quick view of the pool area as we go by. So, it’s a great pool. Smallish um but really Disney done a fantastic job of really really putting the the casual small elements in. But right behind this is something that really sets this apart from most of Deluxe Resorts besides the Polynesian. It has separate luxury buildings that you can rent. The Polynesian has the overwater bungalows. The Bullness Lodge has these cabins. Now, these group of cabins right now are going on renovation. They’re refreshing and painting. But really, you can see these are three bedroomedroom, two bath cabins with a full kitchen, full dining room, outside spot, outside hot tub, I believe. Um, overlooking the water to the campground and then from the campground and most of these cabins, you can also see the fireworks. There’s another set of cabins on the opposite side of the property, but this is Boulder Ridg’s cabins. They’re pretty much they’re they’re they’re a bucket list moment. Um, you’re talking 2500 to $4,000 a night. So, not faint of heart. So, here we go. We’re going back to the archway back towards the hotel. That DBC property is to our left. And again, they continue with these little touches of industrial. There’s Boulder Ridge. There’s a railway car with boulders in it. And they’ll pull out this way. That waterway connects to Bay Lake, goes past um the Polynesian, goes through that waterway and gets you out into Bay Lake where you can get to Magic Kingdom. So, that is transportation. That building across the way there, that’s the new DVC property they’re putting up over at the campground that’s just going up right now. They’re making incredible strides at that. This area you have pingpong and pool. And then as we come around, what you’ll see there, that’s Bay Lake Tower next to Contemporary. Contemporary is right behind those trees to the left. That’s kind of how compact this area is. But it um it’s just beautiful out here. This is a great spot to sit and the water pageant that comes through. Um, definitely check our channel if you haven’t seen it. Comes right literally there at 9:30. Water pageant comes by. We’ve seen it here. We got video on the channel for it. That is a great little bar that they have back here right on the water. Now, this is August in Florida. It’s warm toy outside, but people are doing it, enjoying themselves. It’s a great spot. It’s Geyser Point Barn Grill. [Music] And as we come back up now, we’re going back towards the center of the hotel. Has a little element we really like. See, they have seating out here. And over here it looks like it’s kind of barren and been no green grass on. Well, that’s where the geyser erupts every hour on the hour. Um would love to know what time it is. I can tell you if it’s kind of rough. I don’t think so. So that’s right there. Um so it erupts there. And so the idea is if you went to Yellowstone National Park at the geyser, all the grass around the geyser would be killed by the heat. It boiling water comes out. So Disney went ahead and made it look that way. Just continues to impress. What we’re doing, we’re coming back towards the back of the hotel. Now, the reason I did that is cuz they’re doing that scaffolding work. Remember we just saw that? Well, that’s there. I don’t think there’s an easy way in. This is the back of our hotel. Yeah, Emily and that’s how great this hotel looks from here. It’s a great view of it. And that’s it. We were in that building directly straight ahead of you down the first floor. That’s the waterfall we spoke about where the water from the guys from in the lobby comes out. That’s their pool with the slide. That’s all the hotel room. We’ll come out this way. And then there’s the kids splash park. It’s as splash parks go. It’s not bad, but it’s hard when you when you see other splash parks. The ones at Kadani Village and Animal Kingdom is are by far our favorite. Here’s a great view of the geyser area, by the way. This is where the geyser blows off right there. So, we’re now walking down another path. I love these paths at night. They’re so enclosed by trees and they feel very rustic. If we were to go to our right, I’ll show it to you. That path continues down through there and it goes out there and that’s where your boat launches are. So, you would get a boat from there and that would take you over to and you hear the boats now take you to Magic Kingdom. Um, so that’s where you would catch that boat launch there. If you’re to go all the way around and keep going to your straight ahead and they keep going to your left, you end up at the other side of cabins on the other side of this. But we’re going to go back towards the main hotel. We’ve seen the cabins. If you haven’t caught on, it is a huge property. I’m going through it very quickly. Um, but it is beautiful. It is expansive. It is removed from everything. It is quiet. What’s better about this in our opinion deluxe resort is you’re not in the middle of everything. You don’t have a whole lot of people who don’t stay at the hotel. Taking the Montreal to your hotel just to take a look. Happens to the other three hotels on Bay Lake all the time. So, it’s not just people staying there. Creates people and congestion. It’s all the visitors. So, we’re coming back towards the waterfall. And I’m guessing it’s not. I’m guessing it’s closed. Okay. So, there’s a waterfall. I’m going to go kind of up here and show it to you. They have closed this off because of the scaffolding and the refer refurbishment they’re doing right now, but this is a great spot. And you may or may not seen the butterflies flying around, but it’s pretty awesome. So, that’s the waterfall over the pool area. There’s a lookout up there we can’t get to now because it’s closed. But what they do have you guys love Disney employees. So we go in through this way. Now we’re all the way down the pool level in the back of the hotel. This is the roaring. This is the entrance back into the hotel. Oh, there’s outdoor seating for the Roaring Fork. Roaring Fork is their counter service. Now if you keep going straight, there are more guest rooms. Now, we have stayed in guest rooms down that hallway. Um, I have to tell you, there’s nothing wrong with any of these rooms anywhere. There’s kind of the menu. They do your breakfast. Trying to get to, you know, like the glare and then they have a fantastic lunch. Now, lunch obviously is your barbecue, your campground kind of feel. The sandwiches are outstanding. Their pull pork sandwich here is next can’t be beaten. It is a life changer. When you come in, you’re coming straight ahead to your right, which we’ll go. It’s kind of the dining area. Small for a resort this big. Have all the drinks and all that. And then we come back to if we were go the other way, which we’ll do now. You go into where your checkout is and where you pick up. So, there’s the counter where you pick up your food is the order is. And then they have obviously your freezer with your Mickey bars. All the Mickey bars. Great dessert. And this is their iconic dessert is a campfire cupcake. Just amazing. And so again, that’s where you pick up your food and your stuff from here. Everybody’s in the process of ordering. But I want to show you one more thing before we leave this area. They have hot cinnamon rolls and at the very bottom they have a hot bear. It’s huge. It is amazing. The heater is there. It is awesome. So, as quick service goes, the food here is restaurant quality. Outstanding. So, now where are we? We’re down the quick service area way back in one of the the the kind of hallways of the hotel. We’re going to go work our way back up the lobby. Addy has rejoined the party. Hello. I am back. Addy went on another video adventure, but we’re going to go back up. So, we’re down a couple levels. We walked. Now, we’re going to go back up. Boom. That is a big ramp. Now, I will tell you when we stay here for the hurricane down that hallway I showed you. Pushing our luggage up this hill was a challenge, but we did it. And I highly recommend this place for any hurricane. If you had to come hide one, this is where you want to come. It is amazing. It’s so cozy. You don’t even feel the storm at all. Like luckily for us, it was just like wind and rain. But like you step in here, you don’t even know there was a storm happening. Okay, so I’m going to show you guys Territory Lounge. The Territory Lounge is a bar. There people in the bar now. So we’re we’re going to be a little less intrusive and kind of go through and just show it to you. This is Territory Lounge. It is a great bar sign. Fantastic bar. Bears holding up the the bar. It’s mix of kind of outpost and sports bar all at the same time. Done incredibly well. What’s great is if you don’t notice, you look up, the ceiling’s covered in a mat, which is outstanding. But what’s different is at the end of this hallway, that’s Artist Point. Now, Artist Point, we can’t go in cuz this is character dining. But what you’ll notice right away, take one more step in here, is that this is where Snow White, Evil Queen, Dopey, and Grumpy have character interactions with people. It is by far one of the most elegant, high scale, high-end character dining in all of Disney. We’ve been here a number of times. Staff are amazing. The food’s amazing. The character interactions are off the charts. The inside looks like Snow White’s Forest. It’s I can’t describe it. So that’s Artist Point. If I were to tell you parks after dark recommendation, that is your number one character event in all of Disney World. It is just so Okay. So, as you can tell, Artist Point, Snow White, and that check in, there’s all the Snow White art, which is fantastic. And as you come back in, there’s the lobby. There’s a bridge we started at with the geyser that goes back out the waterfall. We did a big circle to show you guys all this. Coming back in the lobby area. It is check-in time. It is starting to fill up like you would expect. But guys, this is George Parks after dark. This is the Wilderness Lodge. I’m with my partner in crime, Addie. and we want to thank you. Do me a favor, like and subscribe to this video and we will continue to show you all those things about Disney we love the most. And this goes on our list of things we love the most. You guys have a fantastic day. You guys take care. Hey guys, we’re Flo Park after dark. We are here at the Wilderness Lodge and we are here at their merchantile store, their merchant store, their store. And right out front, you see immediately that totem pole tells you everything. Got the fair, got Mickey, and you got the store. Now, the Wilderness Lodge is obviously campground like, hence all the logs. It’s a luxury cabin in the woods. It is great. And this is their store, merchandise store. What we love about this is that totem pole, which is the cutest thing ever, cuz you can get one and take it home with you. So, here’s a version. $34.99. It’s pretty tall. There’s your salt and pepper shaker version. Great tea. mini version of totem pole a picture holder and then a f purple wood plus slide bottles. If we come around I will show you one of my favorite lounge flies in all of Disney is right there. That is a loungefly. It looks very wildernessy and you can tell you can see all the images on it and come up and it’s got the stampless lodge. It is leather. It is a backpack and it is awesome. Along with that, you do have your ears and there are obviously mini ears with the bow. You have the t-shirts and all this lodge stuff. What I love about the t-shirts is Donald riding a horse. Mickey riding a horse. Goofy riding a rocking horse. I love it. They have their stuffies and obviously in if you’re in the woods, Snooky Bear, Smokey Bear’s part of it. So, they have a lot of Smoky Bear merchandise here. Um, for those who are older like me, remember Smoky Bear TV, those not so old, you may not, but he is saying only you can prevent wildfires. Along the way down alongside here, they do have the 2025 merchandise, which we’re seeing everywhere. We got a few of these pieces from the outlets. Great mugs. And then just this is the DVC merchandise they have here. And that is because it’s a DVC property. There’s a DVC hotelish here. Check our video on Willis Lodge to see that hats and ears of mask over here which is great. Here’s a fantastic Steamboat Willie hat, a great rustic Mickey hat, Pride hats, great visors. That vis right there catches my attention. And then we come across, they have a fantastic set of ears, many of which we have seen, but they do end up having up ears cuz they got the grape soda. So that’s from up. That is a new set of beers we’re seeing because of the source for mic kind of push they have now. And of course they have Doas. Love Doask. So we’re going to peel back around here. And this is something we haven’t seen. This is a DDC member Loungefly specific. It is awesome. Moonlight Madness is actually a DVC event where DVC owners get to get access to the parks by themselves. Having a feeling that’s a little tongue and cheek about that with the moon and making it nighttime. This is a great series they have with the purples and the blues and the golds. Definitely steps up. It’s definitely an adult version of of these shirts and spirit jerseys. As you kind of see, this isn’t for kids. Great shirt, however, with all the Fab Five running around. As you come in through the back part of this, it’s like kind of a a zigzag S. The kid section is back here in the corner. Um, the oversized graphic TE’s of Donald and Goofy right there, which are awesome. The hats are all here. They have the kids swim stuff. And of course, you have what do you have to have? You have to have stuffies. And a great stuffy is you have birthday Mickey. Then you come around and then obviously the walls are covered with toys. Got to have the princesses and the figures. If we were to venture in further than what you’ll end up seeing is they have the home products which are all kind of lower key Disney stuff. It’s not all oranges and blues. It’s kind of got the subtle earth tones. Great mugs here. Fantastic mug collection. And I love these mugs. We’ve seen these a couple places. There’s a pencil drawing mugs which they got only the poo one and they got a sleeping stitch one. I love it. And then obviously Snow White and Evil Queen for Store Bane which is here. Because it’s DVC, you have kitchens. They have a whole food section in the back with milk and eggs and yogurt. They have to have your Disney lollipop. What is a vacation without Disney lollipops? Then you come back up this side and what they do have is they have a lot of unique different Disney shirts. Disney has made a lot of effort to make sure each merchandise store has something a little different. So, the reason to go to it. You can’t buy that shirt in every store and that’s probably a handful of them, but it’s enough to get you in the store is really just great. This is the merkantile shop here at Will Life. It is chalk full of stuff. Physical plant size-wise, not huge. Not huge at all. The one at Coronado is much bigger, but they do a great job of sectioning it off. They do a great job of mounting stuff they put in it. Very impressive. So guys, this is George Floors After. We’re here at Wilderness Lodge. We’re here at the merkantile shop. It’s a place to come find some some some goodies. That being said, you guys have a fantastic day. Like and subscribe. We’ll talk to you later. [Music]

Wow! Wilderness Lodge is amazing. Like Bears. 🐻
My wife and I were there working on some edits and saw you and wanted to say hi, but you were recording and we didn't want to interrupt you.
