Here’s what I bought from “Ekimae West,” located near the Shinkansen boarding area. Milk Kitchen Milk and Cheese Langue de Chat This is becoming a new classic Shizuoka souvenir, so I decided to try it. These biscuits are made with Jersey milk, perfect for milk lovers! Price: About 140 yen each / Available in packs of 5, 9, or 16 / Shelf life: About 10 months Shunkado Mt. Fuji Yama-Musubi A cute multi-grain rice cracker with a ribbon design in the center. The packaging also resembles an onigiri rice ball. Made with rice and grains, the flavor shines through. Price: About 125 yen each / Available in packs of 10 or 20 / Shelf life: About 3 months Nagasaka Bee Farm Honey Bun-Bun Rusk A honey specialty shop along Lake Hamana makes these treats.
