There is a lounge between the first and business class cabin, and here is a list of drinks you can drink there. Alcoholic drinks and non-alcoholic drinks. Coffee and tea. Now that I’ve finished my meal, I’ll take a look around the cabin and lounge a bit more. Smoking is not allowed on board, but ashtrays are provided just in case. At the front of the upper deck, there are stairs that take you to the main deck. Let’s also take a look at the two restrooms. The restroom has a chic monochrome interior. This restroom has a toilet and sink, but no shower. There is also a diaper changing table installed. This is another restroom with an attached shower room. This is a shower room that can be used by first class apartment passengers (30 minutes use time, 5 minutes shower time). Etihad has 10 A380 aircraft, and there seem to be variations in seat color and wall color. Let’s take a quick look at the seats in the First Class Apartment. On this day, the seats in the residence were dark brown, but the seats in the apartment were amber (the opposite pattern is also available). Let’s take a look at the lounge located between the first and business cabins. This lounge is available to The Residence, First, and Business passengers. Six sofa seats are arranged in a circle. A hair dryer from German manufacturer Starmix is provided. This is a dryer that blows out a lot of air. Bath mat. 100% cotton bathrobe. When you unlock the shower you will see a 5 minute meter. A shower switch on the bottom right. Let’s turn on the switch. The shower came out strong. The shower head is fixed to the ceiling and the direction of the shower cannot be changed. The water pressure in the shower was stronger than expected and it was easy to use. The bedroom has a double bed that is 82 inches (208 cm) long and 47.5 inches (121 cm) wide. There are no windows in the bedroom and some walls have mood lights. There is a mirror on this wall. There are 4 pillows and 2 cushions. The bed and cushions are made by Poltrona Frau, an Italian luxury furniture manufacturer. The hardness of the pillow is normal. ETIHAD AIRWAYS letters. This is a custom made mattress. The mattress is hard. There is a storage space under the bed. A storage space located in a place that is hard to notice. The same safety instructions, waste bag, and in-flight magazine are placed in the book holder. There are drink holders next to the bed. A controller for the monitor in the bedroom. AC outlet, USB ports, HDMI. Light switches. Emergency button, headphone jack. Two ambient lights. The bedroom has a 27-inch (69 cm) monitor. There is also a seatbelt sign here. I put on a bathrobe and lie down on the bed. The double bed is 82 inches (208 cm) long and 47.5 inches (121 cm) wide, making it large enough for one person. It’s actually a semi-double size, so it might be a little cramped for two people. Mood lights can be turned on and off and the intensity of the light can be adjusted. The intensity of the light on the nearby wall has changed… I don’t know where the lights are on… There was a light above. Footlight. I look at the monitor while lying in bed. Monitor menu. I wasn’t really hungry so I decided to have afternoon tea, but it was a lot more than I expected. Sulaimani Chai Tea. Butter, fresh cream, and jam. It was a fulfilling afternoon tea. A wooden stand is used. Afternoon tea is over and we have 1 hour and 41 minutes left until we arrive in London. This time it was a 7 hour and 40 minute flight and I didn’t sleep much because I was shooting videos. The other flight from Abu Dhabi to New York is a 14 hour 50 minute flight, so you have more time (but it costs nearly twice as much). I’ll take it easy until I arrive. A blanket that feels good to the touch. It says DUXIANA. A Swedish bed manufacturer. The plane will soon begin its descent. It’s getting closer to arriving in London. Wet towel service before arrival. Fast track pass to enter the UK. A tray with ETIHAD written on it. Announcement before arrival. We’re still above the clouds. I’ll have a can of cola. The live camera footage is really beautiful. Survey for today’s flight. It was a great flight. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, guests at The Residences were provided with a butler, but now they are no longer provided with a butler. Something else we haven’t mentioned is that you get a complimentary chauffeur service to get you to the airport in Abu Dhabi. Estimated arrival time is 18:45 local time. This is the time when the sun sets in the evening. Landing at London Heathrow Airport. Successful landing. It shook quite a bit when we landed. In-flight announcement after landing. We arrived at 18:30, almost on schedule. After arrival, the plane will move to the boarding gate in Terminal 4. The last part of the in-flight broadcast. You can see Japan Airlines and Cathay Pacific planes, so that’s Terminal 3. I will write about my impressions of boarding until we arrive at Terminal 4. It’s the only three-room suite in the world (living room, bedroom, shower room), so I felt it had a considerable advantage compared to other airlines. I felt that the in-flight meals were of a high standard, but I wouldn’t say they were better than other airlines (Singapore Airlines, Qatar Airways, Emirates, etc.). Regarding the escort (meet and assist) before departure, I felt that the service was very considerate. If I had to write downside, it would be that the reclining sofa and mattress were a little hard, and there was no window in the bedroom, so I lost track of time. Overall, Etihad’s The Residences was the best flight experience I’ve had on any other airline. Again, I think everyone would give Etihad’s The Residences a thumbs up given its advantage as the only three-room suite. The Residence passenger will be able to disembark first. Upon arrival, Etihad staff at Heathrow will escort you to baggage claim. If necessary, Etihad staff can also arrange transportation for you after you arrive at Heathrow Airport. My purpose was to ride Etihad’s A380, so I would return to Abu Dhabi the next day. On this day, I will spend the night at a hotel directly connected to the airport. There is a dedicated passageway leading to the hotel directly connected to the airport. Aiming for Crowne Plaza London Heathrow T4. It’s about a 10 minute walk from the airport to the hotel. Arrived at the hotel lobby. There is a restaurant and bar. This is a bar. This is a restaurant. Take the elevator to the guest room floor. The hotel opened in 2018 and has 304 rooms. It has an atrium and has a futuristic design. The corridors are quiet. This is the 6th floor where the club lounge is located. The room category is Club King Suite and the price is 158.56 EUR / 171.64 USD . Toilet. Living room and dining room. Two bottles of water, a Nespresso coffee machine, etc. An electric kettle and tea. Water and soft drinks (extra charge) in the refrigerator. Bedroom. Wardrobe. A bathrobe. Vanity table. Washstand. Bathtub. Soap. Hand and body wash and lotion. Amenities such as toothbrushes and combs. Separate shower booth. Body wash, shampoo, and conditioner are provided. Pillow mist. Pillows and mattresses are of standard firmness. Both the living room and bedroom have windows. It’s about to close at 8pm, but I go into the club lounge. I’ll have cola and spicy chicken. I’ll have some red wine too. Actually, it’s the end of the trip and I feel like it’s a launch. The spicy chicken was delicious. Salad etc. Nuts, cookies, etc. The fact is that hotel beds are more comfortable than any first class bed. The Residence can be booked from Etihad’s official website. First, proceed with the reservation in first class. Upgrades are available if The Residence is vacant. The current price is 21,845 AED / 5,945 USD / 5,430 EUR. The next day, I will fly back to Abu Dhabi from London on Etihad’s Airbus A380. The outbound aircraft number is A6-API, and the return aircraft number is A6-APH. The return flight number is EY12 departing from London at 9:30am. First Class Apartment Seat 4K. The seats are different colors for going (35:57-36:05 in the video) and returning. It also has great seating, but compared to The Residence, it doesn’t have a private bathroom. You can see the engine from the window of the 4th row seat. First class apartments have a dressing table. Caviar is also served in the First Class Apartments (the food menu is likely the same as The Residences). The beds in First Class Apartments are narrower than those in The Residence. Slider burger. Free Etihad Chauffeur service is available within the UAE (between Abu Dhabi Airport and your home or hotel in the UAE). First Class Apartments do not provide escort (meet and assist) services at the airport. The First Class Apartment was a very satisfying flight, but The Residence went one step further. Thank you for watching.

Today we will be flying from Abu Dhabi to London on Etihad Airways Airbus A380 “The Residence”, the best first class in the world.
