自販機フェリー「しまんと」号で行く 北九州→東京 34.5時間の旅

Hello! I’m currently at Moji Station in Kitakyushu City. Today, I’ll be taking a boat trip to Tokyo on the Shimanto, a vending machine ferry. The journey covers a distance of 1,151 km and takes approximately 34.5 hours. The fare is 35,420 yen. I’ll take a shared shuttle taxi to Shin-Moji Port, where the ferry departs. It departs at 7:00 PM and arrives at Tokyo Port at 5:30 AM the following day. The Shimanto is 191 meters long and weighs 12,636 tons. It’s a large ship, but it doesn’t have a restaurant; only vending machines are available. I’ll pick up my ticket, which I reserved online. Finally, we’re on board. The crew members are very attentive and helpful. There’s a vending machine, but first, I head to my room. This is it. Wow! This room has a retro feel. We’re about to depart, so I head to the observation deck. Just as another ship is about to depart, so cool! The Shimanto’s mooring ropes are untied and it’s time to depart. Farewell, Kitakyushu! Let’s take a room tour. The air conditioning control panel. A rack for life jackets and bedding. Guests are required to make their own beds. There are hangers. All the sheets are clean. A small refrigerator. A mirror. Retro-style floor cushions. Hanger hooks. A built-in desk. There’s a TV. There was deodorizing spray, but the room was clean and odorless. An outlet. The TV received satellite channels. It’s a foldable bunk bed. At the entrance to the room was a ladder to the upper bunk. I’m hungry. I’d like a drink, but can I have something to eat first? What should I have? I chose hamburger curry. Let’s eat! Delicious! Now that I’m full, I’ll explore the ship. Here’s the bath. I’ll take a bath later. Next to it is the relaxation space. Behind it is another vending machine. They sell amenities like shampoo and towels. A coin laundry. This is the washroom. It seems there’s also a powder room for women. The toilet is clean and equipped with a hot water bidet. This is a shared room. We’re in the forward lobby. The curtains are closed at night to prevent disruption to flight operations. I made my bed. Let’s take a bath. Photography was prohibited in the bath. There are seven washing areas. I think the bathtub can fit more than 10 people. I’ll have a drink after my bath. Sparkling wine and French fries. Delicious!! I topped the fries with mayonnaise and chili sauce. We’re off the coast of Beppu. I’m getting sleepy. Good night. Good morning. I went to bed early, so I woke up early. There’s no one here. Since there’s no one here, I’ll take my time looking at the vending machines. This one sells snacks and appetizers. Soft drinks. A vending machine for curry, fried rice, and other rice dishes. There’s also pasta. This is “Pietro,” a Kyushu brand of pasta and gratin. A vending machine for dim sum, yakitori, and takoyaki. This one sells noodles. Udon and soba noodles. Bread. Soup and snacks. Rice is also available. Cup Noodles are served in a dedicated hot water heater. Ice cream. Alcohol vending machines are closed between 11 PM and 5 AM. There’s a coin exchange machine. Each microwave is alphabetically labeled. It’s easy to find. Huh? I didn’t notice it yesterday, but there’s a game corner here. We ‘re off the coast of Kochi in Shikoku. Breakfast. I had samgyetang. Delicious! We’re docked at Tokushima Port. We’ll be anchored for about two hours and depart at 11:20 AM. Is that mountain with the antenna Mount Bizan? I wonder how to see it? The crew kindly showed me how to read the map. The shop is open during the day, selling ferry merchandise and souvenirs. It looks like we’ll be passing the sister ship, the Ritsurin. For lunch, I had Pietro’s Bolognese pasta. Dessert. I drank beer with takoyaki as a snack. I fell asleep. For dinner, I had soba noodles. It seems like I’ve been eating a lot. This time I’ll sleep properly. Good night. Good morning. We’re already in Tokyo Bay. I can see the Tokyo Gate Bridge. We arrived at Tokyo Port at 5:30 , right on schedule. The end of a journey is always sad. But that’s what traveling is all about. Thank you! Crew members. Thank you! Shimanto. Thank you for watching until the end. If you like it, please subscribe to our channel. See you again!
