like slowly slowly. He was really really friendly. Good morning world. Welcome back to the channel. 
It’s ride number 38 on our motorcycle adventure here in India. And we are here in the town of 
Nanderbar in the state of Maharashtra. And we stopped here yesterday because this is pretty much 
the halfway point between where we left yesterday, Ajanta Caves, and where we’re heading today. So, 
let me show you guys where we’re heading today. So we are here in Nandubar and today we will 
be leaving the state of Maharashtra behind and heading into Gujarat to visit a very special 
statue. Yesterday wasn’t really an eventful day just crossing the vast expansive agricultural 
countryside of Maharashtra. But today is going to be different because today we are heading 
into a new state, the state of Gujarat, and heading to a modern wonder of the world, the 
tallest statue in the entire world, the statue of unity. I’m so super excited to see this statue. 
I don’t even know how tall statues can get. So, I’m excited. So, this morning we found 
actually already an accommodation. So, we will just head there now pretty much. It’s 
about a 147 kilometer ride and Google Map says it will take us 3 hours and 20 minutes. It’s 
already 6:30, so better hit the road. Let’s go. Oh, looks like this fell is meditating 
towards the sunrise. That’s pretty nice. [Music] Oh, wow. Yeah, look at that. That is a 
red sun. Looks like Mars or something. It looks boiling hot if you ask me. 
Another beautiful sunny day in India. But wow, guys, look at this temperature rise in 
the next hours. I mean, at the moment it’s like 25°, which is amazing. At 7:26, at 8:29, and 
at 9:00 is 32°. Can you believe that? At 11, it’s supposed to be 35 degrees. At 11, I mean, 
there’s no time at all. This is the reason that we start so early these days, you know? I don’t want 
to get fried. It’s crazy hot. It’s just crazy hot, guys. Got a papaya plantation here. It’s not 
very often you see papaya plantations. I like papayas. Yeah. Look on the other side as well. 
Wa! This is a papaya paradise. Yes. And guys, I can see on the map that just ahead is the Gujarat 
Maharashtra border. Welcome to Tapi District. I think that’s it guys. I think we have just crossed 
into our sixth state on our journey across India, the state of Gujarat. Yes, welcome to Gujarat. 
Woo. And there was no border between the states here. Nothing actually. But I think we’re crossing 
on a very small road. Yeah, that was it. We have finally left Maharashtra after quite a while. 
After many, many, many kilometers, we entered Maharashtra on the coast from Goa. Made our way 
all the way up. We did some par motoring here. We saw an abandoned city. Wow. Look at this place. Oh, we explored the metropolis of Mumbai. What 
are you doing with us? This is really epic. We explored a lot of beautiful ancient caves and 
a crazy meteor crater. So, Maharashtra, it has been eventful. It has been absolutely beautiful. 
We met some amazing, kind, and welcoming people. We’re going to miss you guys and we’re going to 
miss the state of Maharashtra. But I am excited to see what Good Guerrat has to offer. We’ve got 
some super cool things planned here in this state, including seeing lions and riding on salt flats. 
There’s a hole we cover. Yep. Oh, go. It’s Hello, guys. Yeah, I’m super excited. This journey 
is not over just yet. Time to explore state number six on our journey across India. Yes, I 
just wanted to stop here and show you guys this. It’s a brick factory on the side of the road. 
And we’ve seen quite a few of these as we’ve been riding around. And it’s crazy. They’re just making 
bricks here just on the side of the road. Look at this. Just here out in the open. No warehouse, 
nothing. They’re just like pressing the bricks, firing them just behind. Look at that. A huge pile 
of bricks. Pretty cool. Look, all the bricks have a stamp in them. AMK. And I mean, look, they 
might be making them on the side of the road, but look, it’s a pretty good brick, isn’t it? 
I guess these are all the broken ones. Oh, here’s a police check post, but they 
don’t seem too bothered about us. Oh, look on this sign. It’s like 
no super overloaded cars or trucks. That is actually a pretty good idea. I 
support that. The funny thing is those pictures probably weren’t staged either. Look at 
this guy. Oh yeah, that’s safe. That’s perfectly safe. Oh wow. And look at these signs. We can 
see that the language has changed. Wow. Yeah, you can really see the difference between 
Gujarati and Marathi. The languages. This one is like much more curved and and flowing and 
the Morati language is much more like straight and chiseled and has a sort of line at the top. 
We can already see quite a big change, you know, geographically. Look how many hills there are 
around and trees. It definitely feels already very different to the flat agricultural plains of 
Maharashtra. It’s really nice to have a change in landscape again. Yeah. We haven’t seen hills in 
a while. Yeah, obviously for bike riding it’s just a little bit more interesting if it goes up 
and down a little bit. Little bit of wigglies, a little bit of bouncies. I wonder if they have 
a different breakfast here. Hello. Food. Yeah, it looks like they do have food. They’ve got 
pictures of food. Then that’s half the battle. Do you like my hop? Thank you, Oscar. Breakfast 
food. Food. Yeah. What you have? Aloo paratha. Aloo paratha. Aloo paratha. Coffee. Okay. Two 
coffee. Two aloo paratha. Thank you. So that’s what we get for breakfast in Gujarat. Not bad. 
Hey, some aloo paratha which is like a potato with bread. With bread. Yes. Okay. Yeah. 
I’m excited to see what that looks like. Cool. Looks good. Okay, guys. This 
is what aloo paratha looks like. I don’t know if it’s a Gujarati breakfast 
necessarily, but looks really, really, really nice. Wow. Yeah, it’s got 
like um masala potato inside of it. And of course, the whole thing looks 
like it’s been deep fried, which I like. I think it tastes really delicious because they 
put coriander in there as well. Mhm. So the coriander makes it very herby and then obviously a 
little bit of chili but actually not spicy at all. No, not too spicy. No. And I think some onion 
in there as well. M very good. If this is the breakfast that we can expect moving forward here 
in Gujarat, then I’m happy. This is great. Our first time ala. Mhm. There we go. Thank you. Thank 
you. Now this one. Buffalo. Buffalo. Yeah. It’s good. Yeah. Very good. Is she love Ollie? Okay.

go now to Statue of Unity. Statue of Unity. Yeah. Back. Yes. We go 
Statue of Unity. Maybe one one and a half hours. Yes. Yes. And after 
we go to Surat. Surat. Surat. Yes. Bye-bye. Danivad. I go over this thing. Beautiful. Beautiful. First breakfast in 
Gujarat. Well impressed. Well impressed. And also it just cost us 140 rupees 
which is about £140 for like two meals and two coffees. I mean that’s a pretty good 
price. That’s not going to break the bank, is it? And the accommodation for tonight is 
only I think £10 or £11. No. Yes, exactly. Look at all these fabrics in the market. [Music] [Music] Oh, [Music] [Music] heat. [Music] Yes, we have made it to our homeay and 
we’re just going to be going there, dropping off the stuff, having a little 
rest before heading to the statue. Hello, Oxis. Do you say oxes or do you 
say ox? Oxen. Oxen, I think so. I’m not sure. Okay. Hello. Hi. Namaste. 
This feels quite peaceful, doesn’t it? Cool. Look at this pink room. Thank you, Danad. Take a look, guys. This place that we’re 
staying is actually a working farm with loads of buffalo. There’s some baby buffalo. 
Here’s some big buffalo. Wow. Beautiful. So, it’s like a half homeay, 
half buffalo farm. Oh, look at that little tractor. Mahindra 
215. I mean, look at that piece of kit. Lovey. If we ever get a piece of land, I want 
to get a tractor just like that. Just a nice little tractor that I can just, I don’t know, 
move piles of rocks with. And if you have a look inside their house, just a peek inside. 
Hello. Look at this. It’s got these beautiful painted doors and windows and all of these wooden 
pillars. It’s like a proper old school farmhouse. This your house? Oh, very nice. Can I have a 
quick look? Okay. Okay. Okay. After you. Wow. I like the door. The door is very beautiful. Four 
bedrooms. Okay. For sleeping. Two, three, four, nine. Okay. This is your father. Okay. This is 
your grandfather. Grandfather. Grandfather. So, grandfather, father. And then you’ve got Ganesh 
and Krishna. And this is mother. Hi. Very nice. Awesome. Thank you. And then Modi. Modi from 
Gujarat. Gujarat. Gujarat. He he used to be the minister of Gujarat and now obviously prime 
minister but he from Gujarat very nice. Anyway guys we are going to brave the heat and go 
and see a giant statue and it’s not very far away just uh 8 km away. [Applause] [Music] 
Okay guys, this is the river and there is the statue. Whoa. First views of the Statue 
of Unity. It looks humongous. But we’re heading now to a point on Google Maps called 
best viewpoint. Let’s go. Let’s go. Let’s go. Oh, that’s it. I just like packed up everything 
on the bike cuz I thought we were going on a bit of a hike. That looks so impressive. Yeah, 
it’s unreal. It’s unreal because it looks like miniature from here. Like with all the details, 
it just looks like a figure. Yes. Look at it. Compared to like the building underneath or 
compared to the mountain, it’s bigger than the mountains. Yeah. So, this is the Statue of Unity, 
the world’s tallest statue with a height of 182 m. That’s 597 feet. It depicts Sardar Patel an 
Indian politician and independence activist who was the first deputy prime minister and home 
minister of independent India and an adherent of Mahatma Gandhi. Patel played a significant role 
in the political integration of India. [Music] It’s really hard to show you how truly massive 
this statue is, but if we zoom in here, don’t know if you can see these tiny little 
black dots. Those are people. These electricity pylons. And yes, those are the normalsized 
ones, the massive ones. Well, look at this. Yeah. It’s massive. That really was 
the best viewpoint. It’s not called for nothing. Best viewpoint. Yeah, it’s 
really the best viewpoint. Hello. Uh, we can go over. Not allowed. Not allowed. 
So, this way. Return that way. Okay. Okay. Thank you. Is that a real cactus? No. No. 
It’s not. Hey. No, it’s fake. Okay. So, can’t go that way. So we are just crossing the 
Namada River, the river on which the Statue of Unity sits. Don’t know if you guys can see from 
here, but the Statue of Unity actually lies on a sort of rocky outcrop, a little island 
in the middle of the river. And this river is damned by the Sarda Sarova Dam a little 
bit further up. And it is a massive river on the other side. Oh, no. Oh, just straight. Ah, not not this way. Okay. Just straight. 
Okay. Thank you. Okay. Okay. Okay. So, the police just stopped us there as we 
were riding up to the statue. Apparently, you can’t ride all the way to the statue with 
your own vehicle. So they’ve directed us this way a kilometer where we have to park the bike 
and then we can take a bus to get there later. Statue statue statue statue. Ah, 
guys, look. That’s where we just were on the other side of the river. It 
says Statue of Unity. We have made it in, guys. We are standing in front of the Statue 
of Unity. The biggest statue in the world. Oh, wow. Look what they have here. Does it work? 
Yes. Look at that. Awesome. Ah, that’s nice. Okay. Tourism department of Gujarat. 
I’m impressed. Look, a travelator to get to the statue. This is state-of-the-art, 
guys. State-of-the-art. Nice. [Music] The project to build this colossal monument was first 
announced by the then chief minister of Gujarat, Narendra Modi. The construction cost $422 million 
and it was finally completed in October 2018 and inaugurated by the then president of India 
Narendra Modi. The cladding of this statue is made of bronze and it was cast in a foundry in 
China and the statue is built to withstand wind speeds of up to 180 km per hour and earthquakes 
as high as 6.5 on the RTER scale. This statue blew the previous world’s tallest statue record 
holder out of the park. The Spring Temple Buddha statue in China. Well, this statue is 54 m 
taller and it’s 141 m taller than the previous tallest statue in India. So, definitely 
impressive. Let’s go take a look inside. Wow. I actually can’t believe that. Look how small the 
humans looking compared to this massive statue. Wow. No way. So, this is a replica of the head of 
Sada Patel, but it’s almost unbelievable. The real head is five times bigger than this. Five 
times bigger. I think it’s actually too big. the statue like it’s just we can’t comprehend how big 
the statue is. So here is like a crosssection of the statue where we can see all of the girders 
and everything that makes up the insides. We can also see that there is a staircase running 
all the way up until the shoulders. And there’s also an elevator shaft running all the way down 
the middle. And you know what the coolest thing is? We get to go up the elevator all the way to 
the chest where there is a viewing platform. So, let’s go up into the clouds. How many floors? Uh 
45 45 and 135 m. 135 m and 415 ft level. The chest level. So, we’re here. Yeah. Yes. Because that’s 
nice. Thank you so much. Thank you. Thank you. Oh, yes. Look at this. We’re going to Mr. Patel’s 
heart. Ah, here we see the previous world record holder of the world’s tallest statue, Spring 
Temple Buddha in China, 153 m. And look at this. It’s crazy. This statue is nearly double 
the height of the Statue of Liberty. Also, it says Christ the Redeemer over there. 
The wonder of the world is only 38 m tall. That means this statue is like it’s like nearly 
six times taller. That was fast. We at the top. Wow. That was like no time. Hey. Oh, cool. Look at 
this. Wow. This is the inside of the statue. Yeah, we are inside the statue. Here we can 
see all of just the steel girders. The whole thing is just a big conglomeration 
of steel girders with cladding of bronze. Incredible. Let’s check out the view. Wow. Wow. This is the bronze. That’s it. That makes me feeling a little bit sick 
when we hold out the camera like that, you know, because it’s so incredibly high. And we can see here that the cladding is 
just not that thick. Like an inch and a half, 2 in thick. Couple of centm. That’s it. We can see down there the flower garden and 
the viewpoint that we were at earlier on. And here we can see the Sadar Sarovad Dam over 
the Namada River just upstream from us. No way. [Music] Heat. Heat. Look how big this man’s foot is. I mean, I have no words for that. Let 
me just go back a bit just so we can really see how small Lavi is compared to this 
foot. What? What the hell? That is complete madness. Whoa. Absolutely amazing. Absolutely 
amazing. And you can see each of the bronze uh plates that have been cast. Look, you can see 
the bronze plate here. That’s cool. Incredible. Awesome. Awesome. Nice to meet you guys. 
Nice to meet you. Nice to meet you. Sorry, which country? Uh, England and she Germany. 
Germany. Yes. And you? Where are you from? Which state? India. Gujarat. Gujarat. You’re 
from here. Nice. Nice to meet you. Awesome. I want to look up and see something, but I 
can’t. You can’t really see the statue from under the statue. We can really only see 
to the ankles from here. At least he had nicely trimmed toenails when they uh cast the 
foot. I tell you what, guys. I think this has to have the world record as the world’s largest 
sandal as well. Look, look at here’s the strap. [Music] We really missed some bread and 
cheese, so we ordered two mini pizzas. M. So, this one is with margarita and the other 
pizza is garlic pizza. Yeah. I’m sorry, guys. Not a traditional meal for dinner tonight. 
No. But we are eating dinner in view. You can’t really see it on the camera there, but in view 
of the statue in the background over there. So, that is pretty cool. Yes. And the whole visit in 
total was just so incredible. I’m so happy that we made our way to this incredible big statue. 
I mean, you can’t really find the right words to describe the feeling when standing in front of it. 
It’s just insane. It’s hard to comprehend. Yeah, this is truly a modern wonder of the world. 
It’s such an impressive construction. And the fact that you can go all the way up to 
like the chest level and look out, I mean, that was just a mind-blowing experience. This 
is mind-blowing as well. This is okay. We can’t compare pizza with the tallest statue in the 
world, but this is still good. We will just enjoy our meal for tonight and then we will head
