Stay Near Tokyo Station at This Price!? 🏨 Budget-Friendly Hotel + Visit a Local Money Shrine⛩️
This time I stayed at the Kanda Grand Central Hotel. I also visited a salt and ginger ramen restaurant and a shrine known for bringing good fortune. I’ll introduce you to the Kanda area, known for its traditional streets and lively atmosphere! Today I got off at Kanda Station on the JR Yamanote Line. The hotel is easily accessible, just a 3-minute walk (approximately 300m). This channel mainly introduces Japanese hotels, as well as surrounding tourist spots and Japanese cuisine. If you are interested, please subscribe to our channel! It’s a very lively place, and makes you want to stop by. Walk towards Kanda Police Street. I arrived at the hotel where I will be staying tonight. Standard single room (non-smoking) price includes breakfast. Of course, you can enter Pronto on the first floor regardless of whether you are staying at the hotel or not. The hotel entrance is here. Founded in 1981. This is a business hotel that has been loved for a long time. 3 minutes walk from Kanda Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line.
It is also a 4-minute walk from Awajicho Station and Ogawamachi Station. It is within walking distance from Otemachi Station.
It’s a convenient location with access to multiple lines. The inside of the Pronto store is larger than I expected.
It seemed like I could relax. You can freely choose the amenities next to the lobby.
Bring what you need! I’ll bring a toothbrush. Baby shampoo and other items are available for rental. Here you can choose and borrow a pillow that suits you. I’d like to borrow a slightly harder pillow. Is that the breakfast menu? They have both Japanese and Western food, and I’m looking forward to seeing what tomorrow’s daily menu will be. Today I are staying in a room on the 9th floor. The key is a card key. Head to room 906. Hold your card key and enter your room. Standard single room 13m2 It’s an old-fashioned retro room. It looks like you can relax in this chair. Although it is compact, the well-thought-out layout makes it comfortable. There are two types of slippers available: disposable and regular. There is also a baggage rack. An electric kettle is also provided. The TV is at eye level for comfortable viewing. A small refrigerator is provided. There is clear information next to the telephone about the front desk and how to make an outside call. There is also a vetiver mist deodorizing spray. Stick-type tea and cups are provided. There was an ion hair dryer on the bottom shelf. I’m grateful that the ionic hair dryer keeps my hair from becoming dry and brittle. The pillows provided are soft. I prefer a firmer mattress, so I was glad I was able to borrow one from the front desk. This is the loungewear. It has been changed to a gown type from September 1, 2023. It is made of soft waffle fabric and is a free size suitable for both men and women. If possible, I would like to wear pants as well. The lighting and air conditioning can be controlled from near the bed, which is very convenient. There are hangers and a clothes brush provided. An evacuation route map is posted on the door. This is the unit bath. It’s a little old, but it’s kept clean. Everything you need is provided, including bath towels and shampoo. It’s a compact bathtub. Comes with a shower curtain for secure separation. Next, let’s look at the facilities inside the building! Vending machines and coin laundry facilities are great facilities to have. There are many useful items available for rental. I head to the laundromat. Check the vending machines first! I’ve already decided what I’m going to drink after my bath (laughs). The coin laundry can be accessed via the exterior stairs. It looks like the only way to get there is via an outside staircase, which might be a bit inconvenient. I arrived at the laundromat! Dryer is 100 yen for 30 minutes Laundry is 200 yen The detergent is sold for 50 yen. Now, let’s go for dinner! I was interested in the salt ginger ramen restaurant ” MANNISH” I made it in time for business hours, so I went to eat! I wonder which one I should order. Purchase a meal ticket from the ticket machine. I like to mix it up a bit and enjoy the different flavors! When it’s crowded, it’s nice if you can quickly give up your seat once you’ve finished eating. There are many autographs on the walls of the store. It seems that you can enjoy different flavors of ramen depending on the store. In addition to salted ginger, there are a variety of unique flavors such as “Kombu,” “Rich Salt,” and “Oyster and Kombu.” After some deliberation, I decided on the “Special Salt and Ginger Tsukemen”! Can you tell from the screen how delicious this looks? I’ll enjoy having this! The chicken thigh char siu is very tender. The soup is clear golden in color. The deep flavor spreads from chicken oil to kelp to ginger. It goes perfectly with the smooth noodles! It has a strong fresh ginger flavor and is very tasty! The refreshing tsukemen was a big hit. It was full even just before closing time, and there were a sign warning people that it would be even busier at lunchtime. I’ll go for a drink at Pronto. When I looked at the menu, it looked so delicious that I wanted to eat it again! (lol) Do you see any photos that look delicious? Oh! The store is empty. The last order is over… I head straight to my room (lol) I’d like to sleep comfortably on the borrowed pillow. good night. good morning. I think I’m heading to breakfast now! I was surprised that it was more spacious than I expected! Maybe it was a quiet time when there weren’t many people around? I feel like I gained something from the morning. The seats on the edge are more comfortable.

What is today’s daily menu? I had iced tea. The fun breakfast was a mackerel set meal. Eggplant and natto seem to be very good for your health. The set also comes with rice and miso soup. Looks delicious! Well, let’s eat! The mackerel comes in three bite-sized pieces. The hotel room was comfortable, although there was some noise in the hallway. However, I fell asleep quickly (laughs). Thank you for the meal. I had a very relaxing time ♪ Check out and go sightseeing! It’s a nice day for going out. The Kanda Grand Central Hotel where I stayed this time is a business hotel that boasts convenient location in the city center. It is easily accessible, just a 3-minute walk from JR Kanda Station, and you can quickly get to Tokyo Station and Akihabara. There are many restaurants and convenience stores in the area, making it a lively and safe area even at night. The room was simple yet functional and comfortable. The hotel had all the necessary facilities, and I felt it was perfect for a business trip or solo travel. It was hard to see during the dark hours, but the red brick exterior has a calming atmosphere. Travel on LUUP. I would like to visit Fukutoku Shrine! It felt good to ride the LUUP in the cool morning breeze. COREDO Muromachi” before its opening I walk down this atmospheric street towards Fukutoku Shrine. ” COREDO Muromachi” is a complex commercial facility housing restaurants and shops. It’s a perfect spot to stop by in between sightseeing. This is “Tsujihan,” famous for its seafood bowls. It’s a popular restaurant that has lines every day. The hearty seafood bowl and the final dish of sea bream dashi chazuke are local specialties and look delicious. I would have liked to have it during business hours. This is “Benten,” a shop specializing in seasonal fruit daifuku from Kakuozan. This is a shop that sells elegant fruit daifuku, with beautiful cross-sections that will make your heart flutter. The red torii gate comes into view! This is Fukutoku Shrine, a historic shrine that dates to the Muromachi period. During the Edo period, it attracted the faith of many people as one of the “Nihonbashi Seven Lucky Gods.” It was once burned down but was rebuilt in 2014 and is still carefully protected today. As soon as you pass through the torii gate, the atmosphere suddenly changes. The grounds are small but well-organized. This is Mebuki Inari, a small shrine where people pray for new beginnings and good fortune. Then I will go to worship. Before greeting the gods, first purify your hands. After purifying your body and mind at the chozuya, take a short stroll around the temple grounds. This Fukutoku Shrine was called “Fukutoku Inari” during the Edo period. It attracted the faith of merchants and townspeople and was also a bustling place where people came to pray for lottery wins. It later disappeared due to war damage. After a long time, it was revived in this location in 2014. Now, as “Fukutoku Forest,” it has become a relaxing space in the heart of the city. Are you preparing anything? Apparently, there’s a flea market going on next to the temple grounds today! Suddenly, you hear a gentle sound that makes you want to stop in your tracks. The quiet sound is somehow soothing. This is the “Lottery Prayer Bell” unique to Fukutoku Shrine. Make a wish and ring the bell. Apparently, this bell is specifically for praying for the lottery. This is how losing lottery tickets are carefully stored. I’m going to imagine what it would be like if I won the lottery now (laughs). The proper etiquette for worshiping at a shrine is “two bows, two claps, one bow.” Make sure you prepare yourself mentally before greeting the shrine. There’s a long line! It seems that the line was made up of people seeking temple seals and “lucky charms for winning.” It seems that the number of people visiting to pray for winning tickets or for their favorite idols is increasing. May all who view this be blessed with much good fortune. Thank you for watching until the end. I will continue to introduce various hotels and tourist spots, so please [subscribe to our channel]! I have a feeling it will happen, so please stay tuned. I’ll cut it down! What’s the result? It was a great win and ended up in the “losing lottery box”! (lol)

Grt video 📹 thanks for making the videos. I really enjoy them
Beautiful ❤
Nice to know another hotel with a single bed. Really functional. I like that restaurant at night. Can't find my words that I looked really delicious! So as the breakfast!
👍🐻👍
I have yet to see it mentioned, what size feet do those slippers fit? Along with the sleep wear. They always look too small for me to wear.
THat door frame to the bathroom has seen better days.
Great video
That hotel needs to be remodeled.
I'm From India😊
Great choice for the table/seats! I also prefer to keep my personal space as enormously as possible 😅
❤❤❤ спасибо , как всегда интересно! Удачи и Вам и Вашему каналу!😊
I wish there were UK hotels for £50 including breakfast!
I love ramen, I like ginger a lot, and the poster outside the store (with the ginger head) looks really cool. Thats my kind of place, but I would definitely eat "normal ramen", as I am not a fan of dipping ramen / tsukemen. I prefer it hot and very wet 🙂.
Thank you for another great video. I have now realised why I like your channel so much: its not because of the hotel recommendations (I have "my hotel" in Tokyo, and we will always return there). Its because when ever I watch a video from you, its like taking a small trip to Tokyo, eat food there, discover a new area in Tokyo etc. – without leaving my living room in Switzerland ;-).
The food highlight was my favourite 😂. Thank you.
