【行ってよかったキャンプ場】高松キャンプ公園 ちょっと詳しく解説(宮崎県串間市)

Hello camping lovers! In this video, we will introduce Takamatsu Camp Park in Kushima City, Miyazaki Prefecture, where you can enjoy the beautiful view of the sun setting into the sea. Takamatsu Camp Park is a campground that opened in April 2021 in Takamatsu Fishing Village Square in Kushima City, Miyazaki Prefecture. Because it is located almost on the prefectural border, it is also close to Shibushi City, Kagoshima Prefecture, and the sea in front of it is Shibushi Bay. Although Miyazaki Prefecture has a large area facing the sea on the east side, there are not many campgrounds where you can camp comfortably so close to the sea level. This is a campsite that is recommended for solo travelers and families. We will explain in as much detail as possible based on our actual experience using the service, so please read until the end if you’d like. The menu for this video is as follows. Each item has a chapter, so you can jump to the section you need from the table of contents in the summary section. In addition, by clicking on the Youtube subtitle icon, you can display subtitles in English, Chinese, Korean, etc. in addition to Japanese, so please use them if you need them. The appeal of Takamatsu Camp Park First of all, the main attraction is that it is quite close to the sea. Miyazaki Prefecture faces the ocean from north to south, and there are many campgrounds along the coast, but there are not many that allow you to take photos with the ocean in the background of your tent. The free tent site at Takamatsu Camp Park has a beautiful, clear ocean just across the sidewalk. It’s very close, so if you have small children, please keep an eye on them. In addition, this sea is very clear and beautiful, and because it is surrounded by an embankment, the sea is calm with almost no waves. You won’t hear the sound of violent waves. And the most attractive thing is the sunset over the sea. Miyazaki Prefecture has the Pacific Ocean to the east, so the sunrises over the ocean, but Takamatsu Camp Park has the ocean from the south to the southwest, so you can enjoy the beautiful view of the sun setting into the ocean right in front of you. I can. However, please note that the sun sets in the sea from November to March. At other times of the year, the sun sets directly behind the nearby land. Takamatsu Beach is within walking distance, so you can enjoy swimming in the sea in the summer and then take a shower at the campsite. In front of the campsite, there is a dock extending out into the sea, and it is also known as a local fishing spot. It is said that you can catch horse mackerel, kisu, chinook, bigfin squid, etc., so it is a great campsite for those who like fishing. Takamatsu Camp Park just opened in April 2021, and is maintained and operated by Kushima City, so the facilities are very clean and you can use it with confidence. We will introduce each facility while looking at an overall map transcribed from aerial photographs of the facilities at Takamatsu Camp Park . Takamatsu Camp Park is a newly built campground in a park that was originally used by locals as Takamatsu Fishing Village Square, so there is a grand golf course used by locals, and there are no dogs allowed in the park. People come in for walks and fishing. Only users of the auto campsite and campervan site can drive into the parking space next to the site, and other users can only drive up to the parking lot. On the map, this red line is the sidewalk, so you can use the provided cart to transport your luggage on this sidewalk. This line is not a sidewalk, but a groove or step. When you park your car in the parking lot, you will immediately see the administration building. Firewood is sold, but there aren’t many items for sale. There seem to be very few rental items. The manager seems to be present from the check-in time of 13:00 until the evening, but may be absent at other times. There is also a vending machine next to the administration building. There are also toilets and showers in the same building as the administration building. In addition to the men’s and women’s restrooms, there is also a multi-purpose restroom, all of which are clean and equipped with heated toilet seats. The number of campsites is small compared to the size of the campground, so it may get crowded when there are many users. In that case, there is an old toilet building located a little further away that has been in place since the original park, so you can also use that. The old toilet building is a toilet similar to those often found in parks. There is a shower room next to the toilet. There are separate sections for men and women, and both can be used for 100 yen for 3 minutes. There is also a changing area, and the shower room seems easy to use. The kitchen building is not very large, but it is well-cleaned and well-maintained. Although there is no hot water, detergent and sponges are provided, and there is also a washing area for large animals and a washing area for feet. There is also a garbage station, but its use is limited to those using the auto campsite and campervan site. Auto camping sites and camper sites are located near the administration building, toilets, showers, etc. There are four auto camping sites and two camper sites, and as of January 2024, more camper sites are being added. The official website states that the auto camping site and camper site have access to electricity, and that the area is 10m x 3m, but since the surrounding area is a grassy park, it doesn’t seem to be a problem even if the site extends a little. . Large shelters and tarps can be set up with plenty of room. The free tent site is an area along the coast. There is no power supply, and although the official website says it is 6m x 6m, there is actually no clear division. Phoenix and Washingtonian palms are planted at equal intervals, and you will be able to pitch about two tents between them. Still, there is quite a bit of leeway. The ground is a beautiful lawn. When we used it, it was winter, so the grass wasn’t very green, but it looks like it will be very beautiful in the summer. Pegs are very easy to get stuck in. Please do not set up tents in the large grassy area in the center that is not designated as a barbecue site or a free tent site . This area surrounded by walkways and ditches is also designated as a free tent site, but it is hill-like and has a slope, so there are limited places where you can pitch your tent. Free tent sites require you to use a provided cart to carry your luggage, which can be quite difficult when you have a lot of luggage, such as when you are camping with a family. We went back and forth several times. The number of carts is limited, so please return them as soon as you finish using them. There is some wooden play equipment in the park. It’s great for families with small children. There are also two photo spots available. One is Kushima’s character, and the other is a silhouette that looks like a hula dancer. Be sure to take a photo of the sunset with your bag. Basic information about Takamatsu Camp Park Usage fees are as shown below. Although it is difficult to bring in your luggage, the free site is spacious and the price is quite reasonable. Check-in is at 13:00 and check-out is at 11:00. During the business period, the free tent site is open all year round, and the auto camping site and camper car site are closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays. For details, please refer to the business day calendar on the official website. Payment is in cash. I forgot to check whether credit card or electronic payment was possible, so please contact the campground for details. There weren’t many items for sale, and the only thing I could find was firewood. There are probably no rental items. Please contact the campsite directly for details. Only users of the auto campsite and campervan site may throw away trash. We would like to ask all users to collect their trash , even if there is no charge, as it will extend the time spent in the surrounding area before and after camping . There is no problem with cell phone reception. Free Wi-Fi is unconfirmed, so please contact the campsite directly. The prohibited items are general in nature. Reservations are generally made on LINE. If you register for Kushima City’s official LINE, you can make a reservation from LINE. Although the user interface is not very easy to use, you can make a reservation by following the instructions. It is not possible to check the congestion situation. There are some things to keep in mind. One is that park users other than campsite users also come in. This campsite is located inside the Takamatsu Fishing Village Plaza, which is used by locals, so locals come here for exercise and to walk their dogs. Campers know the etiquette of not entering or crossing someone’s territory, but non-campers may not. Please feel free to use the local park as if you were being allowed to use it. Second, there are fishing spots nearby, and anglers often come early in the morning before sunrise. When we used it, several young people were shouting and singing. It’s a quiet place with almost no waves, so your voice can be heard very clearly. If you go to the fishing spot from Takamatsu Fishing Port, you may not realize that there is a campsite at night. Let’s accept it with an open mind. Thirdly, the campground is not home at night, and since it was originally a park, there is no gate that closes at night, so people can freely enter the campground 24 hours a day. We recommend that you take security measures when you are away from your tent or when sleeping. Access to Takamatsu Camp Park/Surrounding Environment Takamatsu Camp Park is located along the national highway, so there are no roads that are difficult to pass. It is located approximately 9 minutes by car from downtown Kushima City and approximately 10 minutes by car from Shibushi City in Kagoshima Prefecture. There are large supermarkets and convenience stores in each city area. There are no large supermarkets or convenience stores between the campground and the city , so please be careful not to forget to buy anything. Nearby Tourist Information Shibushi Bay Daikoku Dolphin Land is located approximately 2 minutes by car from Takamatsu Camp Park. This is a theme park where you can see dolphins and interact with sea turtles, penguins, and other animals. It’s not a huge facility, but you can spend a few hours playing there. You can also eat there. Speaking of Kushima City, Cape Toi is a typical tourist spot, and I personally love it. Cape Toimisaki Lighthouse, located at the southernmost tip of Miyazaki Prefecture, is the only lighthouse in Kyushu that can be visited. At Cape Toi, there is a wild horse called Misakiuma. It was originally one of the domain-run farms established by the Akizuki family of the Takanabe domain in 1966 , and for over 300 years since its establishment, the animals have been kept on extremely rough pasture all year round, and their reproduction is left entirely to nature. It had been. In 1952, it was designated as a national natural monument as a pure Japanese native horse. From Komatsugaoka, you can see the sun setting in the direction of Shibushi Bay and Osumi Peninsula, and the silhouettes of the horses are very magical. I love this scenery and go out to take photos several times a year. For several years now, an application has been required for drone photography within Cape Toi. For more information, please refer to Kushima City’s official website. Near Cape Toi is Koigaura, which is famous nationwide as a surf spot. I don’t surf so I don’t know, but I heard that there are many points for advanced surfers. Further north along the coast, you will find Kojima Island, which is home to wild monkeys. The monkeys that wash and eat potatoes are famous. You can also cross to the island by ferry. In the urban area of Kushima City, there is a roadside station called “Roadside Station Kushima” which just opened in 2022. At Umiyama Marche, vegetables, fruits, and meat carefully grown by local producers are displayed. We also have fresh fish and processed products from Kushima, so please stop by to purchase ingredients for your camping trip. Inside Kushima Roadside Station is the main store of Sushi Tora, a sushi chain that is representative of Kushima City and has expanded into Tokyo and overseas. The grilled sushi and Vancouver rolls are exquisite. The former Yoshimatsu family residence, a nationally designated important cultural property, is located within walking distance from the roadside station Kushima. You can take a leisurely tour of the many outstanding designs, the elegance of modern Japanese architecture, and the atmosphere that can only be experienced at the former Yoshimatsu family residence. Between Nichinan City and Kushima City, there is also Enobara Shrine, which has been popular as a god of matchmaking since ancient times. It was built in the first year of Manji in the early Edo period as the guardian of the Obi domain, at the request of Udo Shrine. The vermilion-lacquered main hall has a complicated roof called Yatsumune-zukuri, and is designated as an important cultural property of the prefecture. is specified. This video was created as a personal hobby. If I can help you in any way, I would be very happy if you could give me a high rating. I usually shoot and edit videos to preserve family memories or as a hobby. Recently, I have become addicted to camping, and I often go to campgrounds in Miyazaki Prefecture and its surrounding areas. These videos are all for self-satisfaction, but if you like them, I would be happy if you could leave a comment. If I have another chance, I would like to introduce a campsite that I am glad I went to. Thank you for watching until the end!
